Have any of you ever heard of Marble Blast? A friend of mine was in a group of people who worked to make a mod of Marble Blast Gold, and created Marble Blast Platinum. I just modified some files and created the Colin Ball/Marble in-game. I thought it was a pretty cool idea. I made a Jaaku one too, but I had enough trouble making this video. Maybe later.

And just to do my fair part, in case any of you want it, I’d better explain how to get this game. It’s actually free. But the original game, Marble Blast Gold, must be purchased through Garagegames.com. If you have it, or you get it, you should have a serial code. You’ll need this for it. So then you just head over to PhilsEmpire and figure out stuff.

Even if you don’t get it right away, take a look at it. You can see some screenshots and such… well… I guess you saw the video too. Oh well, you get it.

And a bit of bad news, all you Mac users (who should reconsider their computing tools) can’t play it straight on your Mac. You’ll need some kind of program that allows you to run windows programs. Either that, or wait awhile. And awhile could be any length of time. Haha… Macs…

So I haven’t done a lot of art really… I did that art trade with Shana… then had ifavbadart fav it. Jerk. xD If you’re reading this, ifavbadart, I’m not offended at all. I can take a joke. So I drew that… got told I drew the EYES wrong… -hiss at Shana-. And I tried to draw some WM related things, but kind of lost interest after a few minutes. It’s not that I’m giving up; I just need some motivation, really. It’s sometimes hard to find time, too, I guess.

Uhm, I feel like I’ve recovered from breaking… I guess. Less paranoid about life now, I guess. Stupid book. It owes me three hours of good health. Lexi’s started it, though… I’ve been told the bad part is around chapters 17 and 18… she’s on 2. I should have time. But just in case, I’ve made her promise that if I freaked out over something stupid, she had to still talk to me. Hah. I’m such a sly bootz. I’m still working away at Myst, about a hundred pages left, I think. Then I got Brisnger last night… or however it’s spelled. But I haven’t even opened it yet. Gotta finish Myst first. That’s just how I work.

Homecoming soon… I’m being taken to shop for something to match her dress… That should be fun. Shana’s paying thirty bucks to see, provided she can get over here. Anyone else want to join?

My girlfriend and I were having a discussion about how she hadn’t read it yet… And she said “Well, they get married, so it could get pretty graphic.” So I decided to Google “How graphic is Breaking Dawn?” Good old Google gave me a yahoo question and answer board where someone was asking the same question, and someone had answered. Everyone answered fairly. Which is the reason the next few hours were pain. Someone decided to describe the one graphic scene in the book. I so wish I hadn’t read that. It wasn’t even THAT bad really. I mean… it wasn’t “suggestive” in the slightest. It was just so… gorey… and sickening… I don’t even know WHY it hurt me so much. But my stomach felt sick, my eyes started watering… I was about to puke, it felt like. Of all the stupid things in the world! I felt like that for a few hours… I couldn’t take my mind off of it. It was just… Argh. I don’t even know. It’s all passed though, and I feel better. But… I still have the thought burned in my mind. I would tell you what part I’m talking about, so you don’t think I’m talking about kittens dying or something, but I don’t want to spoil anything. If you really want to know, I’ll tell you, or give you the link to the review I read, and what I fully think about it. But I will never, ever, have anything to do with the series, not that I ever planned to. Now I’m just going to avoid it. It’s ironic, considering I went to the release party for it (I was invited, I didn’t randomly decide to go). The party was fun. The book has basically killed me. xD

So… all sickness aside… I’m getting a new iPod! My friend Sam ordered a new iTouch, so I can buy his old one! So I’m dishing out 100 dollars for a 30 gig iPod Video. I’m thrilled, cause I’ve always wanted one.

And I’ve been having animation ideas. I just need to act on them.

Nothing new has happened really. I paid off Guitar Hero World Tour at last. Now I have to save my money for Homecoming… which is at the end of the month… So I have some time to make enough money for that. I’m actually looking forward to it. The main reason is because I’m actually going. Strange, eh? Yeah, last year I didn’t have anything to do with anything. I was boring. But I’m doing more… I think.

Oooh, I started Driver’s Ed. Well, the driving part. It’s a large class, so we started driving earlier than the class. I think the actual class starts the 2nd to last week of the month. So I’m practicing on my driving. I still don’t see the thrill of it all. So that will be twice a week, so I’ll still be around. I wanted to take the rush class, but I’m glad I didn’t. It would basically be class four nights a week for two weeks as opposed to two a week for a month. I decided I want downtime.

I’m working on an entry for VGM’s contest, but I keep changing ideas. I might keep the one I’m doing now, if I can get the ActionScript to work. I’m rusty at it, and all I’m doing are buttons. They just. Won’t. WORK. Grah. I’ll get over it. Other than that, I haven’t had a lot of time or motivation to work on other projects. I’m just barely making it through the day as it is. I keep yawning while I write this… was supposed to go to bed five minutes ago…

School is same old, same old. Wake up too early for my own good, go to school too long for my own good, come back, shower, homework, and mess around online. Then the cycle repeats. I have nearly perfect grades. Spanish grades are still absurd. This better get fixed…

Not much goes on in my free time anymore, really. I’ve been playing Guitar Hero… reading the Myst trilogy… did you know they’re making a movie out of one of the books? It’s gonna be epic . Then Beverly Hills Chihuahua comes out later this month I believe. Yes, I know it looks fairly ridiculous, but they’re Chihuahuas. Thus, I must see it. Huzzah for the small guys. So yeah, if you need a good book to read, buy The Myst Reader. Great books.

So… life. Uhm, it’s okay. School has some new developments. I got a slight cold from Lexi, but the entire school has it too, it seems. Greatttttt. I’ve basically sorted out which classes I like. That means that when I rule the world, Geometry, We The People, Biology, Economics, and English get to live. Spanish, Theology and Spanish can go away. Business Law can do what it wants, I’m usually thinking about other things during that class. Like going home. And killing Madagascar.

I’m seeing Lexi a lot more than I thought I would. I mean, I talk to her in the mornings, see her in between almost every class, and I walk her outside every day. Mitchell isn’t too happy about that though. We have to take him home, and he can’t be patient enough to let me talk with Lexi. Jerk

I’ve been spending a lot of time on Kongregate lately… I love those achievements. I’ve gotten to level 12 on the site… that’s roughly 1100 points. That’s a lot. If you have an account there, let me know, so we can be buddehs .

As mostly everyone on Skype knows, I’ve been playing Myst a lot lately too. And of course most of you don’t know what it is, and I don’t blame you. It wasn’t the biggest game in the world for our age, but they’re interesting games, with a story that I love. So I have all five installed on this computer… Myst, Riven, Exile, Revelation, and End of Ages. Never really thought I’d care enough to find them all. I just got the inspiration to. I suppose if you really want to know more about it, I’d check out Wikipedia. YouTube will only spoil it, which is one of the key points of the game. If you look up something, any fun you might have figuring it out will be lost. Defiantly not for the patient >>

Ja… so I know I’ve been slacking on the art… I haven’t really felt in much of an artistic mood lately. Ya know, with school and all, I don’t have much time. I want to work on something for you guys, I really do. But with bed time set at 10 (I did it to myself, nobody is forcing me) I don’t have a lot of time.

Oh yeah. Homecoming is in a month or so, and I need to find out how to set a lawn on fire to spell out “HOMECOMING?” but without burning the lawn. That’s kind of hard. Anyone have any ideas?

First period, geometry was cool. The teacher is pretty funny. A few of my friends there.
Theology was okay, I like the teacher more than my old one, but the class is still Theology :/
Spanish we’ll have to see. The teacher is new.
We The People is just a class about the bill of rights and stuff. Great teacher, iffy class.
Biology was okay. Sounds interesting.
Lunch is okay. Same group as last year… but I don’t have lunch with my girlfriend… which makes me sad. I was hoping we would. I mean… she’s a grade under me. So we won’t have classes together. –tear drop- We might have lunch on Wednesdays together, if we have the right classes. I hope we do. I wanna see her at least ONCE…
Economics sounds fun and somewhat interesting. We’ll have to see, though.
English is nice, the teacher is great.
Business Law gave me a headache.

So… not much happens before or after school for me… I help my girlfriend find her way this morning, and talked with her a lil after. Got to call Tristan an Emo… that was fun.

Well, I’ve been thinking about that too… And right now, I only have two people picked out…


And then whoever is Voice Acting for the characters I designed for it.

Me because… well… I’m me. Sam because he’s always been willing to help with stuff, and he basically always gets right on top of the job… And we need him for the Colin Song. Speaking of that, we might need an updated version. I don’t know.

So those other people that haven’t been finalized for the first episode… Please don’t hassle me about it xD. I mean, nobody has or anything… but just saying. I really want to get to work on it; it’s just hard to find the motivation for it. I mean, I’ll start a file, but it won’t go far, because I’ll be discouraged by what I’ve done. At this time, I don’t have any thoughts about scraping the idea and moving on. I think I’ve finally found something original.

Picked up Chocobo’s Dungeon on the way back. Great game, though the animation bugs me a little. Someone will talk, and everyone else just stands there. Half of the time not even looking at them. But the actually game play graphics are great. It’s really cool that everyone actually speaks, not just has lines of text below them. And now I’ve started saying KWEH all the time…

Ooh, then there’s my new Elite Beat Agents phase. I had nothing better to play, so I just started playing it, and now I’m hooked. I just unlocked the Elite Beat Divas… annoying as heck… So yeah, that’s that… What else…

OH. Right, I’m starting to cut back on my spending. I want to get Guitar Hero World Tour when it comes out. But that’s 190 dollars. I told my mom that, and she said “Well, do you get a Wii with it for that price?” That’s a good point. It’s a LOT. But… then I’ll have 2 guitars, the drum set, and mic… Plus a game that’s supposed to be HUGE. So it sounds fun, right? RIGHT? But yeah, I need to cut back on my spending. So I’m planning on dropping world of warcraft for awhile, then saving all my money. Then I’m planning on mowing the lawns around here, that kind of thing. I should get enough, but it’ll be interesting getting there.

-cough- I felt like doing that XD. Well it's finally over. Seriously though, that was incredible. 104 votes in a 24 hour period. You both are still crazed, and most likely should be thrown in a mental hospital. How many notes and posts did you guys do to get those, anyways?

So yeah, I've been edging you guys on this whole time I suppose. Kept whispering to Comet about everything, then telling Gimmiapuppy to GET A MOVE ON. I love making people fight. Oddly, Gimmiapuppy watched Comet... Who says rivals can't be friends?

Well, I guess that's the end of Death Penalty...

You guys are so funny. All over an Animation. I suppose... You both can be in it. Comet still get's the spotlight, but I suppose it's only fair that it ends like that. You both brought 104 people to my page in some way. NERDS. Nobody new visited though. So no proof of it all. Half of them came saying "Why did I just vote?"

And everyone in the finals gets their prize photos. Gimmiapuppy got hers already, cause she's the easiest to draw. Now, there's no promise when they will be done. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. Who knows.

The concept? To create two or more icons that work together to form a full picture, while still existing as an icon on their own. In other words, i am challenging everyone to work in groups to create icons that look good on their own, but when combined, create a larger picture.

FOR EXAMPLES OF GOOD AND BAD.



While creating a large picture, each icon does not make sense on its own. Thus, this would not be a qualifying icon set.

This icon set would have a better chance. Both icons work together to make a larger picture, while still standing well on their own. The sync is slightly off, though it still works.

Both icons have a similar theme. However, something against them is that they do not directly affect one another. That is to say, there is no direct connection between the two other than theme and style. Thus, they do not sync well with one another.

The rules? Essentially none, other than a broad few:

1) Icons must somehow directly relate, and share something in common.
2) Icon set must be shared between more than one person. You cannot make icons for your account and your alternates. If you have having trouble searching for a partner, there will be a forum in my chat for everyone who needs a partner.
3) If you are concerned about someone stealing your idea, there will be an Idea Reservation forum. You must post your icons, and I will check it off as being registered. You can change your icon later if you wish, but I will have to recheck it again.
4) All icons need to be G rated.
5) Not every member of the group needs to work on the icons. A single member could work on it for everyone, but that person would not receive credit for the icon. The whole group will receive credit.

Need help? Want suggestions?

-I will be on vacation for the duration of this contest. However, my hotel will have internet access. I will also look into AIM mobile. Thus, if you need help, please note me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

-Try to work with people you get along with. It is alright to work with complete strangers, but some difficulties could arise.

-Have some fun with it! You can stack icons, make boxes with them, make lines, or create some completly bizarre new shape! Remember, this is a contest about originality and creativity!

I gots me a Guitar Hero On Tour copy yesterday... I already beat every song on easy, of course. 23 5-stars and 2 4-stars. So I've almost aced Easy mode. I can play All the Small Things on hard though. -feels special- . it was a big leap for the company... but I think they did well. My fingers are just too big to play all 4 buttons, and my hand cramps so easily. Aside from that, it's all good for a DS game.

Then there's World of Warcraft. I got the 10-Day Trial, and I have to say, I'm enjoying it. I'm trying to balance out my money so I can buy a subscription. I still believe 15 dollars a month is outrageous, but the community is very friendly, and hardly crowded. And I know a few people who play, or at least used to. VGM, D24, Nano, and my friend from school, Ben. I dunno if Ben still plays, and VGM/D24 play on a different server that each other. So I'll have to make cuts. Or something.

I actually went swimming today... first time this summer. My girlfriend asked me if I wanted to go, so i said sure and off we went. It was freezing... but it felt better after time. So that was fun. (This next part is for my friend Mitchell, but maybe you'll understand) I read this book called Firestar's Quest, and Mitch, during the last part of the book, I could only think of "Come here, Rat. Give me a hug." XD

Hrm... I'm listening to Mr. Roboto... I almost wanna make a WaveMaster video out of it XD. But my short attention span will remove any chance of that, naturally. I just like the song. And I still have All the Small Things stuck in mah head... -wewt-. -switches song to Animal I Have Become-

I really wish i could be motivated to work on WaveMaster. There's a lot going on right now, making things hard to do. But we'll carry on. Great. That reminded me of Through the Fire and Flames. Now I must listen to that. -Changes song again-

Yeah, school got out today. For me at least. I don’t know, I’m not sure I’m ready. I only got to know people at the end of the year. I look back and I see how annoying I was, how kind I could be, and how well I did. Kind of sad, I guess. And what’s more, the school day just sort of ended. At my old school, the last day was a big day. It’s gone off the deep end now, but it was still there. Now it’s just… bell rings, we leave… nothing special. It’s kind of sad. And with the end of the school year comes the closing of my first year with my girlfriend. I think I’m a bit too excited about it, but after hating school for eight years only to find out that someone cares about me means a lot. I dunno. I need to chill and just enjoy life. I look too deeply into things.

As Mew could tell you, I’m debating in my mind about things. So I do WaveMaster? Shouldn’t I? I know what you’ll all say; yes. But I feel like I’m over thinking it so much that the fun is just gone. I don’t want the fame going to my head, but I think that’s what is happening. I know, I’m not famous. But to have people saying things like “Nice work!” and “Can’t wait!” makes me feel… powerful… I don’t know, it’s kind of a weird emotion. I look at my art and think, “Hey, this stinks.” And throw it away. I look back at my old sketches and remember how I thought they were the greatest things I ever made. It’s kind of amusing, really. I really want to follow through with WaveMaster, but I need to straighten out my mind first.

As I said earlier, I got my permit on Tuesday. I got the exact same form of the test, and only missed two. They were technical questions that could have been debated, however. Nothing serious I suppose. It’s kind of an odd feeling to finally have one. Feels like you accomplished something, and have a trophy to prove it. I know it’s a large responsibility, and that worries me a little. But I’m sure I can manage. I don’t want to be a driving freak. Just if I need to.

So I guess that’s it.
