But! There's good news too! The ski break was amazing! I have never had so much fun and so much fresh powder and off-piste snowboarding!

I also watched Slum Dog Millionaire and it was excellent. I love how colourful and beautiful the film is, but at the same time so realistic. The music was amazing and I really liked the main actors. The ending was the most romantic ending I had seen in a long time. I definitely recommend that film!

I saw the Twilight film on its premier in Helsinki. I saw it earlier of course, but I wanted to see it in good quality. I loved and still love it! I don't care if the acting wasn't great or if some parts were cheesy. I loved Rob and Kristen and that's that!

My cousin is coming today from St. Petersburg. Hopefully it will be fun.

I just bought (I'm actually buying stuff now from iTunes) the new Coldplay album and I love it so much! I love Viva la vida and Lost! can't stop listening to them.

I should also really be working on my history presentation, but I'm so unbearably lazy. I hate the fact that my school doesn't have wireless internet. The only part of school that has it is usually empty and a great hiding place for me, but today there's the Matriculation examinations in the gym, so that hallway is off-limits. So now I just have to resolve to stealing school internet in the computer lab. Hate it! Can't even focus on trivial stuff with so many people here, but well...

I've decided to upload my St. Petersburg photos. I loved my stay there (18.7-23.7) at my cousins. The weather was great (except for 1½ days when the entire city was flooded because of the rain). I bought a really cute dress and broke my Hermitage curse (every time I was in St. Peters I was never able to get inside, until now) and I loved it! I visited a Julio le Parc and Rossi exhibition (seriously check out le Parc [link] so amazing!! especially the alchemie series). My cousin loves those two, but whenever she took any of her friends to the exhibition, they ran away with disgusted face saying: "This isn't art". She was extremely surprised that this time she had to almost drag me out from there! The Impressionistic collection at the Hermitage is also amazing, in some ways even better than the National Gallery in London.

My uncle is an art's dealer so I also got to meet one really cool artist (Gaga) and got an awesome lecture on buying and selling art. Also their entire apartment is filled from floor to ceiling with numerous paintings, so I practically lived in a museum the whole time, you bet I more than ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!!

Afterwards I went to a classmate's birthday party at a beach. My 22-year-old cousin really had "fun" hanging out with a bunch of drunk teenagers . It was actually pretty fun, Markus and Joey almost dumped me in the water, IN MY CLOTHES!! And the water was so FREEZING! I had to beg and plead for them to let me go. But then I started slashing them with water and they almost drowned me. As a result I had to spend the rest of the evening in wet shorts. Oh, and Markus almost killed me, because I misheard Joey and told him to come to the party 2 hours before it actually started... oops... I'm surprised I'm still alive

At one point the police came to us and we were all freaked out, cause, with one exception, we're all underaged and had quite a bit of alcohol on our hands. The two officers chose one guy of our bunch and started examining him and looking through his bag. As it turned out, someone had called the police, because there was a guy that looked similar to our friend with a knife. Thankfully we got off the hook

Afterwards I went with my cousin to town and ate at a Mexican restaurant. We came home at around 01.00AM. It was fun and we really managed to relax.

And before that I went riding. Ali decided to be a pain until I rode him bareback. Once the saddle was off he was awesome.

And just a few minutes ago I got a partner for Wanhat (that's a dance that the second year highschoolers do and involves learning a bunch of old-style dances) <= suddenly ballroom experience comes in handy

So I'm really happy I've got a partner and just hope he doesn't bail on me

Must thank who just happened to torture me all day into asking the guy. What can I say, your work seems to have been paid off.

Now to the more important things: I just finished The Host. I really liked it. It was very unusual, but I think some parts were a bit too happy happy, but I really enjoyed the whole Wanderer being stuck in Melanie thing. It was funny, annoying, heartbreaking and amazing all at the same time. I still haven't formed a full opinion on it (I think I need to sleep first)... Perhaps the Twilight series is better, though they are so different; the setting, the characters. I guess both stories are good each in its own way.

The site alone seemed fishy from the start so I decided instead of downloading it to check some feedback first. Surprise, surprise the most common things were "bullshit", "mal-ware", "spy-ware", "virus" and "a major pain in the ass" above from being not FREE as was first stated.

And people who had downloaded it ended up decoding either some 2 hours of second rate porn or a virus. I don't get why people have to this kind of crappy stuff. I am very careful when downloading my files and I used limewire for this so I checked that the name seems proper and not some fake and also that the size is right, and still I got this.

Well today was a sucky day. I was invited to my sister's in-laws for bbq and even though i really didn't want to go, i still went just to be nice. Then at some point my bro-in-law just seriously starts annoying me and I answered back in a "not meaning to hurt anyone way": "screw you". Seriously what's so bad about saying that? I mean the meaning of that saying is not the same as the point meant by it. I simply meant: "just leave me alone". Surely it's better than "fuck off!".

But then my sis and he totally went ballistic on me when they were taking me home, saying how that was the worst insult i could have said in front of his parents, and saying it twice was just way off. Then I got a lecture on how I don't think what I say. Seriously if I'm so damn annoying, why on earth did they invite me over?

I just don't get it. I also hate it when you say something that's insulting to another person (by complete accident of course) and they act totally ok, and then one week later they act totally insulted and angry towards you. Where's the logic behind that?! I'm just so fed up with being nice to people. Why should I even try going out of my way being nice, when I get completely misunderstood and criticized. Can't people just give me some slack and understand that I'm just that kind of person.

So for the finale: for people who know me in real life (and for those who don't) am I really some terrible brat who is uncivilized? cause that's what my sister is trying to tell me...

But this week is almost over, and each day brings good things. Like today I went on a school skiing trip to Lahti. There were only 18 of us, plus 2 teachers. I knew only a few people from the bunch personally and it was great that my friend was with me. It was so much fun, we spent 4 hours there snowboarding (and skiing) and there was virtually no one on the slopes, just so super awesome! In Helsinki it was raining the entire day, and just 100 km and there's snow, tons of SNOW! Plus the pe teacher complemented on my snowboarding (i acted all innocent and impressed on the outside, inside i was like: Yes I know I'm good!) <- Ok i'm not that evil, that was a joke, but she did complement

So how has life been for everybody else?

So I have a little request for all of you who are watching me, especially those who are super duper creative, imaginative, and don't mind writing. So here it is: I'm in my quite creative designer mood, so I'd love to draw outfits, but I'm out of ideas on characters and occasions. SOO it would be great if all you guys could write a short story, or just describe a character or a situation or something. There are no correct/wrong "answers" (though I just might ignore the ones i don't like *just kidding* )

Here are some guidelines:

1) No fantasy, LOTR, futuresque characters PLEASE, Harry Potter's ok though
2) Female characters only, no old or younger than adult teenager people (and try to keep them slim)

So I'm now doing pre-IB, that's first year of high school, at Ressu. There are 25 people in the IB class, so it's nice and cozy and small (but I don't know anyone!!!). The whole school has 670 students (and it's only a high school, so pretty big). Three of my classmates are also studying there in the normal section, thankfully, two of them my very good friends. But still!! I only see them at lunch or during the breaks (and that's a big maybe).

The school is really nice, really old and guess what! It's right in down town Helsinki, in the center of the center basically!! All my favourite shops, cafés, basically everything! There's also a nice park right next to the school so the view out of the windows is really nice and green, but it is so hot inside. It's about 30 degrees (celsius) right now outside, imagine being stuck in school during such weather.

So the horses were really nice. The teacher is a breeder so she has raised and bred all of her horses. Alltogether there were 12 horses, of which 2 young fouls and 2 dutch shetland ponies. I rode almost all of her horses Yesterday I rode a 4-year-old, that was so unusual, but she was excellent (170 cm high!), the I rode a 5-year-old etc.

My favourite horse was Grixie, 11 yo., I even passed an unofficial level B dressage test on her.

Today I'm still in Finland, but tomorow early morning I'm leaving to London. So i'll be away again until wednesday.

The weather is going a bit bad, so it might rain so I need to go to an equastrian shop today to buy proper rain protective gear. Just realized the amount of stuff I'll have to drag with me... oh boy.

Just now I watched Final Destination 3, the storyline was crap, most actors irritating and everything else so unoriginal. I think the first one was really good and the second was ok up to the mid point, but this one was completely pointless.

Lately I've been finding it hard to dig up any good film, or am I just way too demanding? Pearl Harbor is on tv now and I'm watching it, hey well at least it isn't twisted and it's actually quite nice, the music is beatiful and some shots are awesome, if you just ignore the borring parts. At this point I'm in major need of something romantic and untwisted.

I think it would have been winter by then.

I'm redoing my closet. Today I actually had a meeting with a designer who's ordering everything for me. Right now the plan seems quite nice (I made it!!), she should send me all the drawings this week (+ the price), I have a feeling my mom is going to be thrilled when she sees it. [keeping my fingers crossed]

I need some new activity this summer, I've been dieing from boredom (and headache[s]).

I ordered some of my books for school the other day. The smallest book (if you don't count language books) that I'm going to get is 270 pages (!), my Finnish history book is 329 pages!!! and it's in English (man do I love IB).
