I posted an updated version of an older request I drew for . It looks better, but I wonder if I'll ever be 100% satisfied with any of my older drawings, much less the new ones. But I think I've improved a lot over the past year, nonetheless.

I hope to post one or two new drawings today, if I can get through them. I don't think it's going to be fanart and they will probably be backgroundless quickies. It's mostly to practice coloring again, since I've been away from it for months.

Yes, I've finally decided to come back. I seem to go through these hiatuses shortly after purchasing subscriptions... how inconvenient! Anyways, tagged me!

1) I prefer drawing on paper and then lining in Photoshop.

2) I am an avid tablet user! How did I ever survive without one before....

3) I have been drawing fashion doodles as far back as I can remember.... hopefully they've gotten cleaner since I was four.

4) I started seriously drawing when I was around 10 or 11. It was all anime-inspired back then, when Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, Pokemon, DBZ, etc. was the only popular anime known to Americans. But I wanted MORE! So I found other shows and drew their cool looking characters.

5) Most of my gallery is currently Star Wars related.

6) I used to look for style inspiration in comics like Ultimate X-men, Runaways, and Star Wars Clone Wars, to counter then manga in my style and make it more realistic.

7) My style is EVER CHANGING! Every thing I look at every day changes my art, the same way that every human interation changes a person.

8) I enjoy the challenge of requests!

9) When I start drawing something, I don't always know what it's going to be in the end. Now that's a little less true, I have more direction at this point. But VERY often, a drawing will become something from nothing.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Phew~! I think that's the last time I'll say that today.

Me and are hoping to have a update sometime this weekend and there should be an update around the same time as well. XD

It's that time of the year... (that I've been waiting for for the past 4 years!) The Olympics. I don't watch television (I'd rather watch shows on my own schedule on DVD or downloads) so my family keeps looking at me strange ("what on earth is she looking at the tv for?!") and then they see that it's the Olympics and understand ("oh, the Olympics. Oh no, I bet she's looking for that short track skater Apolo Anton Ohno again..."). XDDDDDDDD

I think I'm going to march downstairs and get comfortable before tonights competitions come on.

With chicken pox, I've been blessed with unlimited amounts of time. So I finally got around to finishing a collaboration that has been much neglected. But I hope it turned out okay. ;____;

I drew out the two requests I was given, but now I need to color them. ^____^V I'm kind of excited to do some more coloring. I feel like as long as I continue to color, I will continue to improve. That's what I like about DA. I can watch my drawings change over the past few years. XD

Okay.... wow.

First of I'd like to apologizing for abandoning Deviant Art for so long. Secondly and most importantly, I'd like to thank all of my wonderful friends on DA for their support and kind thoughts. I love you, love you, love you.

All sorts of fun things/stressful things have been happening. Okay, mostly stressful, but, eh, oh well. Me and my mother had a falling out and I am now living at my friends brother and his wife's home. They have been so wonderful to me... This past week was really rough, what with the lacking of proper housing, etc. But they have truly been wonderful. I owe them so much...

And like I said in my last entry, even though I'm not posting, that doesn't mean that I am not drawing... I've drawn plenty... I just want to color it all with Photoshop, but I don't have much time... So I'll reserve that for special things like ~SMH-REDELK's Luke and Yoda. I was also coloring something of Dazzler and Shadowcat before I vanished and 'bamf'ed. I've got all sorts of Star Wars, X-Men, and Harry Potter art to color/post/whatever.

I think that tomorrow after my Japanese midterm, I'll get started on coloring some stuff. I've got all sorts of small things to marker away at. Oh crap... I need my scanner. Must.... retrieve... scanner.... That's one of my tomorrow goals. Since I finally get a day off.... I think I will sit here and color and work through my message centre. Then I'll plan my postage.

She passed away this morning.

These past few weeks have been hard for me as will the next couple of weeks. I apologize for not updating more and apologize ahead of time because I won't be updating for another week or so. I've been drawing a lot. And I mean a lot. But with work, school, and this, I'm not feeling to hot.

Thanks, , for agreeing to come with me to the first funeral. It means a lot to me. And there's also a second funeral in Florida where she will be buried so I will be out of state for a while too.

I got a laptop recently so I may update from there if I have to. Meanwhile, please just bear with me; I'm trying to not be lazy.

Thanks for all of the wonderful suggestions and comments towards her because I really appreciate it. I'll write another entry soon.

I know!!! I died!!! I'm sorry!!! >_<; Gomen ne! I just worked eight days straight, had two days off which are already over, and have been unfortunately busy. x_x;

I've enrolled for my classes and purchased my textbooks (WOO THERE GOES MY PAYCHECK). I start college on August 18th... FUCK, THAT'S THIS WEEK??!?!?!?

Me and my mother have been running around trying to get through this house purchasing thing and we now own a townhouse in Concord. WOOO~! It will be worked on for the next month (craptastic). But the upside is that my mom wants to get a kitten! I've always wanted a pet of my own! XD

And I've been visiting my Grandmother a lot. She stopped speaking within the last couple of weeks. It really kills me inside watching some deteriorate. And when I broke down the other night my mom told me that I was looking at her death the wrong way, that I needed to think of it as an okay ending to a great life, and that I needed religion to help me in this "hard time". NOT THIS FUCKING RELIGION CRAP AGAIN. I'm sorry, if I wanted a religion right now, I'd have one. I'm content. Maybe someday, but not now. This is probably my Grandmother's last year, and her birthday is next week. I just with I could make her as happy as I can.

I've got lots of stuff I want to draw and color, but when my subscription ended I was so sad! So I refused to get too active on DA until I payed for the new one. ^_^;;; I'm sorry went comatose! >_<;;; I'm not sure how I'm going to enjoy working and school at the same time, but I'm gonna try.

Thank you for being patient friends! I promise, I will update more often. Including the communities! They have suffered because of my lack of time these past few weeks....I really just need to find a way to organize my time. @___@;;;

Over the next week I will weed through my inbox, comment on submissions, reply to comments and notes, post, and update the communities. I have lots of stuff to color, so don't think I haven't been doing anything.

YESSSSSS~~!!! I got it!!! At midnight baby!!! First in line!!! And I got boxes!!!

I'm a sneaky darling, I know. XDDDDD Okay, so, me, Akane, and Tania were like hmmm... where to go.... So her brother, oh wise Tommy says, "um... try Longs." We already have reservations at Barnes and Nobles and Borders, but it seemed like no one would be there. So we go to Longs at 11:20 and we ask a guy that works there and he says... lemme check the back room. And he walks out with a copy in his hand!!! I was practically in tears. They put the very first two from the boxes at the front for me and Akane and we were the first ones to get copies from the store! And I grabbed a couple of the REALLY COOL boxes!!!!

Oh DEAR, I am a bitch... X3 <-- I drove past Barnes and Nobles waving the boxes and books out of the window at everyone in the line all around the block. XDDDDDD I know, evil. But dood, I was in and out and got home from the midnight Harry Potter madness at 12:30 AM. ^______^V I'm psyched!!! IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!

YESH~! I got the job!!! I had an interview on Tuesday and they gave me the job that day. XD I'm so glad the job search is over. @_@;; I hate looking for jobs... So, basically, if you ever see me walking down the street wearing red and khaki, you'll know that that isn't my normal, random (OXYMORON if there ever was one T_T) style. To me, this is a wonderful job.... I get to work at a place that sells video games... XDDDDDD <--dies with disappearing paychecks. I AM EMPLOYED!!! I WILL HAVE MONEY!!! FINALLY!!! <--- Is a little excited...

Today I had orientation and it wasn't so bad. I wasn't nervous because there were a bunch of other silent people like me in the room. I decided to be that boldy obnoxious person who would do everything first. They gave us chocolate and everyone stared at it. I was like --> @_@ "Are you kidding me? Chocolate? WEWT. " And took a bite. Then everyone got courage and you could hear little wrappers opening all over the room. Welcome to life as Reina.

Tomorrow I get training and Friday too, but tomorrow I work 9:00AM to 1:45PM and on Friday 8:00AM to 4:45PM (my first full work day). And this leads me onto my next topic.

I've been sort of busy this past week and haven't posted as much as usual. This weekend me and were having fun. And then, I've been doing job stuff all week so I've been time zapped on time. This is the NEGATIVE of getting a job. This is EXACTLY why I didn't feel like getting one this summer. Eh, but c'est la vie.

So, I've going to have to update communities once a week or so and that will be SUNDAY. It's sad... I want more time to draw. ;__; I have barely started working but I can see the deterioration of my doodle time already. [CRYS LIKE A GREAT BABY]

Actually, it probably won't be that bad and I'm probably going to be fine. LOL. I'm just nervous a little bit I guess... =^_^=V

But onto happier things, NARUTO. I've been watching Naruto for days... @_@; I can't help it! I'm probably officialy obsessed now and I've watched the cracked out Narutard movie. So I feel okay saying that I'm a Narutard. SasuNaru.....

I've got a job interview tomorrow... @_@;;; <--scared, nervous... I hope I get the job. Then my mom will stop hassling me. I'm really ready to move out, but she keeps on reeling me back in when she's done berating me. I'm not a fucking trout!!!! @__@;

Since graduation, I've seen Akane, Kinoko, Stephanie, Shun, Malia, Rhea, Brian, and Evan and everywhere I go downtown, I SEE MORE OF MY CLASSMATES. I didn't think I'd see others besides those I've hung out with a couple of times. o_o

The communities are doing really well and I thank you for the continuing support of them!

Okay, two annoucements!

Firstly, and myself have founded a new community for the Original Trilogy of Star Wars, . It's a place for people to share lots and lots of Episode IV, V, and VI era art! :dances: I'm really excited!!! Please go and join and submit lots of art if you like the A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, or Return of the Jedi! You don't have to just like those movies or anything! (obviously as I sit around reading and drawin New Jedi Order and other Expanded Universe stuff... ).

Secondly, and myself have been working hard on our community for Star Wars slash, . We've gotten alot of members for being around for less than a week! It makes me so happy! Me and Jo are on our jedi slash highs and Jo has been writing a fic. I LOVE it. I hope she's finished it so I can go drool... Mmm... slash.

I really, really urge you to come join these clubs and submit art so we can show you off! Now that summer is here, I can finally work on these communities I've been pining to be a part of! I hope you join and have fun! ^_^V

Okay. I'm finally out! Thank you everyone for your insight on graduation and the future. Everything was taken to the heart and really mean that.

And now I'm free...for a couple of months. I'm going to try and post as much as possible! I'm got about 10 pictures to color. I just draw them and draw them and I can't stop! And then I have tons of things I want to color... I'm going to post an agenda of sorts to keep myself organized on what I have to work on. I'll need it, trust me. Give me another two day I'll have 10 more things to color. >_<;

Yesterday was the "official" opening of me, , and Star Wars slash community, (JediSlash) ! Please visit and if you like slash, or even if you don't, lol, join the community! We already have a few members (that aren't us admins!!!)! :woot:

Yesterday as also a fun day for lame people to say things to make me mad. So someone sees my Obi Wan and Anakin kissy face deviation and leaves a comment calling me a sick-o. That irked me, but I thought it was sorta funny that they cared enough to say that. Right after commenting on my deviation, they write this journal entry about how they hated people like me and that they wanted me to die and they would like to kill me and anyone else who likes slash (BOY, would they hate my new community... . I left a sardonic reply and then I reported them to the help desk. They kindly removed the entry.

People like that just piss me off. They waste their time! If they can't find ANYTHING worth saying, then DON'T SAY IT AT ALL. They offended me. I won't deny it. I wouldn't have bothered commented back at them if it didn't bother me. I shouldn't have let it get to me, but useless threats are really immature and offensive! They were ridiculous.

But on a happier note, I have two more big thank yous to give out. and drew me two wonderful drawings! I want to give them two massive, I-can't-breathe-you-are-hurting-me hugs. Here they are:

I still can't belief it. It doesn't feel like it's time yet. It feels like I've got months and months left to go and then maybe, then I'll have graduated. Those 18 years really do go faster than you think... I mean, don't get me wrong. I am glad to leave. I've been waiting for this for a long time. But now that it's here, it feels too easy, too soon.

Last week, my friends from one of my previously attended high schools graduated. That night I called one of them, Diana. I asked, "how does it feel?" And she replied, "I feel like I don't know what to do." I just told her I felt like it felt like it would never come. But now it's here. And now I know precisely what she meant.

I feel like listening to depressing graduation songs and indulging myself in my confusion. Letting that tight spot in my throat grow doesn't sound like such a bad idea. I mean, I look forward to graduating, but at the same time, I'm afraid of it now. If you'd have asked me that a week ago, even three days ago, I'd have told you that wasn't a possibility. No there's nothing but possibilities... I definately wasn't prepared for this.

Did any of you older than me have a similar feeling to this when you graduated? What did you do to shake it or what did you do with that feeling, period?

There are a lot of people I wanted to talk to before graduation. Well, I've got a day to do what I need to. I still just can't believe it's here. I mean, I'm relieved. But I just don't really believe it. Maybe it will set on the Monday after when I realize I don't have a high school to attend and curse and hate and miss.

I've been really busy this past week... I took the permit test and got my driving permit. Yay! My mom says, "I'm pregnant, you driving will stress me out," so she barely lets me drive. @_@;

On Wednesday, my dance team had a concert and I performed in two numbers. I think people really liked the second number, because there was wild cheers. [ego boost] ^_^; It was a hip hop number and I don't really like hiphop... 0.o;;; But I do like dancing to any kind of music, so it was fun. I guess everyone knew the song and they liked the way it started, so they really got into it. When the lights when on, we were down in these poses, six of us scattered across the stage. Then the song says "hit me" and we approach our first formation and everyone is already into it. We thought we might screw up or something, but when you have the crowds support, it really helps.

On Friday, I had my choir concert. I sang a solo that night. It was "Fly Me to the Moon" and let's just say I never really do solos that involve me on stage by myself. I'm a CHICKEN WUSS sometimes... But I went on and it was awesome! And I got an awesome reaction to my solo and my body finally had the nerve get nervous after I already finished the performance. =_=; I was blushing like crazy. My mom NEVER complements me, but she said that she honestly thought I had one of the top three solos that night. [ego expands a little more; head inflates; Reina starts to float] Lots of people gave me nice complements. Since I'm never really in the spotlight in either dance or choir, it really made me feel better. I just tend to keep quiet.

On Saturday, we had Baccalaurette or whatever it is. It was amazing! I didn't want to go, but the talent there was pretty overwhelming. I didn't want to go because I thought it was going to be religious, but it wasn't really. We, the choir, sang two songs. One of my childhood classmates Cole did an amazing piano solo. I think that after I graduate, he will be one of the people from my school that I'll miss. How could I not miss being called "Rosie"??? LOL.

I posted a new Jaina drawing last night and earlier today, I completely revamped the Tahiri Doodle for VongChild deviation. I wanted to make the lines prettier, etc. I'm also updating my cam picture. Oh yay, more picture of me trying to be obnoxiously cute! [dripping with sarcasm] And I've added a new icon... busy.

One more note, , , and myself are in the process of creating a Jedi Slash community on deviant art. When school ends we should have it done by the end of the week. Me and another person on DA are also thinking of making a community. Next entry, I'll update you on that.

And NOW, I've got about a million really difficult assignments ahead of me.

Akane and I were as sick as DOGS. We currently have no voices, our noses established themselves as the true source Nile, and we are just plain SICK. After school, we went to Akane's house and ate, talked, watched stuff, tried to sing like men and hit incredibly low notes (thanks to our flu), ate Thai food (yum), experienced to horrible shows (The L Word and Boombah.. crap. Queer As Folk? Hell yes.), and watched Lost. We were really sick and gross and hopefully not contageous... Then eventually came and we all went to the theatre, where we encountered the whole damn male population of our school, and some of our friends, running around with lightsabers, having duels all dressed up... It was cute! It was scary at times, but extremely fun. And as predicted, Brian and Evan tried to rally the theatre. Lol. They were getting their pix taken, etc (I felt like cutting a hole in the roof, so their expanding heads wouldn't suffocate us all, the insufferable bums, lol). We sat in the very front row towards the right side. I really did enjoy myself!

Okay... so that was awesome. The movie wasn't as good as I expected (okay, well what did I really expect), but I was satisfying! But one note before I give a little "review", I feel as if all of the questions we wanted answered we knew and it all seemed to simple. It wasn't well written. I'm sure it will grow on me, but the screenplay, as of the now, was sort of... crap. And I know it will sound like alot of bashing, but keep in mind, I really enjoyed the movie! But on to my Positive and Negatives review!

Positive #1: Hayden was much, much more satisfying as an actor in RotS. I do like to blame alot of it on poor dialogue, but really, his previous performances left something to be desired. I felt that there was more emotion behind his character this time, which helped as well. Also, they had him lower his voice and bulk up. Nice touch.

Negative #1: Firstly, Natalie Portman... how come you could act when you were twelve in The Professional??? Learn to act, my dear. This is not Gilmore Girls.

Positive #2: R2-D2 was absolutely sugoi. He was, personally, my favorite character in Revenge of the Sith. Lol, yes, a droid was my favorite character. He was amusing. Humor this time around definately improved. Artoo is the cutest thing ever... I want to take him home!

Negative #2: Palpatine. Oh my crap. I THINK his laugh was supposed to be funny... And the way his skin changed into that of the Emporer we know... happened to easily. The transformation was instant, like fucking Sailor Moon or something. All of a sudden he's this wrinkly looking Hutt, that gains 127 lbs. and now is decked with a hood. In 20 seconds flat. Really, I feel okay comparing him to a 14-year-old Japanese school girl with a talking cat.

Positive #3: The special effects and CGI were much more seamlessand definately more satisfying. The opening battle and so many other scenes were put together well, with the help of more realistic CGI.

Negative #3: Alot of the cuts and ends of scenes, etc, were horrible. They were awkward. I was constantly thinking... "what was the point of that?"

Positve #4: Ewan! You make me giggle! And you make me so sad, Ewan, baby... "You were the chosen one!!!" Nice emotion there, but...

Opening night... almost here.... Midnight show! 12:01AM! Who cares if we have school! Who cares if we have a field trip the next day and if we have homework! [is a rebel, coff] Senioritis... it BITES. I'm going to get a D in something, I swear. Then my mother will take my car and drive it off a cliff... or (hopefully) not.

So, I'm in some new clubs. Figure I might as well have some Star Wars spirit. I didn't actually see many SW communities on DA before.

You DO realize I've been doing nothing but reading Star Wars books lately. Lol, basically you'll probably be seeing nothing but Star Wars art all month, maybe with some original charas and silly shoujo manga style crap. Or maybe... shounen-ai.... purr. Me and should doodle more of our shounen ai boys... Cain and Jayson! You will learn to LURVE them.

Okay, May 19 at midnight, Rhea, Akane, Tommy, and I are going to Revenge of the Sith! WEWT! Evan and Brian will be dressing s JEDI. FUCK YES. That couldn't make me happier. I sincerely am grateful to everyone that has commented, favorited, or even looked at my art. I always try to improve and I really feel that for every kind response I get, I'm more confident in my skills and not so sheepish. And that makes me continue to strive to be a better artist, which is ultimately my goal at DA. I just want to become a better artist than I was when I arrived.

So there's been alot of hospitals lately. On and off all month we've been taking my Grandmother in to the hospital. She's really old, so I can accept that this is the way it is (broken hips and arms, alzheimers, dehydration, etc...) but honestly: what a way to go. Well, hopefully my Grandmother will be home in a few days again. As her caretaker, it's been lonely without her here, but I also feel guilty sometimes. I tend to feel more free when she's not here because I can't go anywhere or hang out with friends when she is here. But I probably shouldn't let myself feel that way.

Okay, I was accepted to the Ron and Hermione club, "Its-So-Obvious", and the icon is down below.

I've drawn some birthday art for Shun... I wasn't able to make it to his birthday... [cries] But I'm posting his birthday card, so you can observe the depressing, not cheerful "You're OLD" card.

If you know me, you know I have a tendency to read books I love over and over again (mainly the Harry Potter series, Battle Royale, and anything by Banana Yoshimoto, lol).

The contest for Ai-Yazawa club has been extended a day, so I can finish and submit tomorrow. And I'm in the process of finishing my gift for Steph (my plan changed a bit) and I'm having fun sketching up my original charas. Steph, of course, knows my random-arsed characters extremely effed up story (lol!) and I'm probably going to post some effed up art of them next month. Will be fun... teeheehee!!!

The start of the new semester... Well, 'Project PUFF' is on the list, as well as my other HP fic. I'm going to dedicated alot of my time to my blessed guitar and poetry, lyrics whatever. And the SIRENS Project is in the works, we just need to work on the greymatter and host account stuff. What else... ART, of course! Hehe, I'm going to be pushing the Prismacolors and Watercolors work, and some PS stuff probably. OH, my mom promised to get that digital camera this month. [dances] Too bad I pissed her off last night, damn. [stops dancing] Oh and I must brush up on my Japanese and Korean this semester because if all goes as planned.... I'M HITTING TOKYO AND SEOUL THIS SUMMER!!!

But I guess I'll be working on alot in the coming months... YAY!

But on another note, I'm getting this increasingly lonely feeling. I wish I wasn't always the nomad. I get along fine by myself (minus the mopey part), but always being the new student.... RAWR. I mean, this is my junior year! I should have a circle of friends, you know? But everyone has already built their's, so I am sadly an outsider no matter how much I try. But the only problem with mopiness (does that EVEN make a word?) is that sometimes, a just sink into this funny little whole, where I nothing brings be joy, and I just go to sleep at 6 pm to spare me the mopey boredem. I really am not good at handling death, not at all. I just cry and curse God for killing innocent 6 year olds. Raised a Christian, I really should just believe he's going to a good place, a better place where death doesn't can't steal anything else from you and you're always bathed in sunlight. I can believe that, yes, but what reasons does God have for taking an innocent life? What justifiable reason is there for God to murder those who haven't done a single thing, ever?

The only reason I see is that God wants them to be safe from our world, to protect them from growing up into the murders who take pure lives.

This way, he won't have to feel as much pain through his childhood as he already has. I can't decide which is right, murderer or savior.

I added a deviation today. I was bored this morning... ggah.. But a good walk, while reading Banana Yoshimoto (yes, i can walk and read at the same time), bought some Lord of the Rings DVD's and the most recent Dido cd for my mother. I love how the men at the doors of Best Buy always try and look you in the eye and determine whether or not you are a criminal. Lol, when I walked in with my mother's husband's nephew, Jorge, the man was giving him shift glance! haha, well, I wouldn't trust him either... I haven't update my site (real journal) because I made yet ANOTHER layout, and just need to put it together.

I'm all inspired today... just got back from Ollie's earlier and we just jammed alot of the visit. So not only am I musically inspired, I am artistically inspired. Therefore, I sat down at my desk and sketched to my bruised heart's content. Hmm... maybe I'll post poetry tonight. Where I can't pride myself on my rather subordinate PS7 coloring skills, I can definately say I enjoy my poetry. Wait... does that sound egotistical? [shrugs and pretends it didn't] In my AIM profile, I always have the WORST poetry ever. It's all stuff I come up with while talking to my friends about their and my problems. I just hope they don't judge me on those... So I'll link this to my profile and let them have fun analyzing my poetry. Like that "poem" in my Fly Forever portrait... that was one of those horrible, mediocore ones with pretty words, but doesn't get my all the way down to my heart. It doesn't make me think about it for days afterwards. That's the kind effect I want to have on people someday...
