Now I have 2 Accounts.

Yeah, this Account was abandoned for almost a year, I went to another account.

Stencyl and BYU school work got in the way so I couldn't operate the 2 accounts even if I tried.

And I am not a DA whore, so I didn't really care.


But now that I have 2 XP's literly sitting next to each other, I reactive this account and maybe answer those 782 deviations, 644 messages, 3 notes.

Anyway yeah sorry for the lack of hand drawn stuff, most of my time is eaten up by the monster that is the Sha War Train: [IMG][link]
I didn't forget sketch Kal, I'll get it when I can.

Now for something else, next year is the release of Stencyl and this year has all most pasted. I know some of all are excited, but me I am kind of sad. This year I wanted to get as much of EW done, so working it into Stencyl wont take so long.
But I need help on this, I am a lonely graphics geek. I don't know how to orchestrate music or code even on the lowest levels. So if your reading this and you can help, please do so.

In the good news a friend from AWN is going to make a few of the songs for EW, once he's done I'll post them in a Deviant on the EW club. VOTE IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. Iam letting y'all pick what you want in the game.

Normality Restored

The Thorn tanks are again going trough another change, this time they should stick. My plains are for a spider like robot with great agility.

Art wise, iam about ot head over to the pet store to draw some more, Kal sent a note to every one in the DA-GT that its almost dead line, so I hope I can get a new Lilacs up for that. Maybe Rink or Katara will tag along....

THe project now is to construct a 2 person car, set in a time period 6 years from now. There are many cool desgins floting around in the work shop, also were able to turn those sketches in to real modles!

K, First off, New unit: War Train.
Choo Choo! it follows the lines of the AWDS pipe runner, but it has the ability to transport 1 unit, and fire back with the range of a rocket unit. Only draw back is..well its a train, and being so it can only travel on tracks, but unlike AWDS train tracks (Pipes) do not block units, infantry and ground units can cross tracks and can stop on them. Cool thing is, that will not block the train from passing them, instead if and ground unit is on the tracks and a enemy train passes it, BAM bye bye 4 hp for the ground unit.

I'll have its full stats up on the EW Club later, along with ideas for unit designs.


Next, Bigger units ie, redoing all of the units (except Sea and Air) over again, only much bigger than they are now. Reason, well because were going with a FE style BA, that means there will be only two units dishing it out in a Battle Animation. I know ya'll want to see action, so bigger units means it will be easier to animate and sprite in a more EW comicy action way.
Still haven't come to a conclusion on doing so yet, I'll let y,all and the members of AWC and Stencly decide that.

Also on the side of units, I thinking about putting more style in how units attack and react. Like the Leaf missile units shoot a huge spear, instead of seeing a recycled missile attack, you see a huge spear pierce a Frill bomber. Just a little thing to add to EW replay value, along with a different BG style for each army.

Ho ho ho, wait, and I going to research and see if Stencly will allow one to in corporate ON-LINE MULTI-PLAYER into games!

Okay next, New CSS, still thinking about it. I want to go with something that looks like a letter on a piece of note book paper. With doodles and tears on it, just a thought at the moment.


And now for something completely out of the blue!
I thinking about getting a My space, yeah, yeah, if you know me from SF-O I am not hte biggest My space fan. But thinking about it, getting an account there could increase the popularity of EW and met new poeple. Plus almost every one I know has a Myspace and have been bugging me to get one.

I got my copy of it today, its pretty awesome. With it in my hand I should be able to sketch more of the characters, it goes in to great detail on how to sketch lines (lizard lines to be exact).

But, don't expect any new stuff tomorrow, because I leave that day for BSSC (Boy scout summer Camp) and wont be back until 3 weeks from now. Okay, yeah your probably wondering "Stop saying that scaly!", but its my first time to leave such a big project unattended for so long. I have great trust in Kal, Lighting, and Rompage on keeping things in order wile I am gone. Thanks guys

All I can say about EW is the Frill Cruiser and Frigate need to be sprited, Ive got a thumb drive on me, with a copy Frill and Sha full sheets on them. So maybe if times on my side and get some work on them done.

Yeah, I got rid of my old CSS, it seem to wonky. The hand drawn tanks where to unwell done, and the old Frill symbol was out dated and wonky like the tanks, plus it got annoying when text would go over it. Once I get that book today, have a few week practice, I'll get a new CSS up.

I don't know how I am going to practice, June looks booked with BSSC, Industrial Design, and B-day 23. Maybe I can with the few days before BSSC and during Industrial Design, I don't know.

Now after recoloring the damn things, and the army finally goes up to voting, all these ass clowns start voting nay. What the hell? most of them were never in the topic, were AA (the army) was being put together. Did you wait until the last minute to tell me the color suck, on purpose? And now you tell me you don't like the fact that there Lizards? EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A PENGUIN ARMY!

Now they want me to change all of the f*cking infantry into humans and/or robots, lol robots are sure original. AA is getting to the point where its starting to look less and less of what it was when it started. the whole reason the units don't look good in that crap blue, is because they were meant to be green. BUT oh no we can't have another green army, that would make all of our adoring fans run away from CW!!!!

This whole AA thing feels like a waste of time, that I could have spent on EW. Think about it, most of the units would be done by now, if it wasn't for me falling into that hell hole.

I guess your just going to make bad decisions at times, but it just frustrates me that I literately waste 2 weeks construction AA, when 2 Era Wars armys could be done, instead.

God damn it..

Okay Iam done, Iam going to go do something fun to get my mind of it, witch most likely means spriting, but I do need a new CSS.

But I am looking at a book that is meant to help people draw dragons and other reptile stuffs, it cost 20$ smackers and I am flat broke. Once I ve got it and a few weeks of practice, this account should spring back into the life it once had! (listening to war music)


Any way, no big burst on Stencyl at the time, did become a member there to help spread news faster. Of course I posted almost every EW unit there is, and they seem quite interested.

Azure Asteroid, the Frills for a game call Custom Wars don't look like there going to get in, I think there voting is ridged.
Srsly, one Yay (yes) = +3 points, wile one Nay (no) = -6 points, WTF!
Ah well, even if they don't get in that means I can work more on Drawing and EW, plus if AA had gotten in there then they would have become open source letting any one do what they want with it. If you know me, I like to keep a good leash on my stuff.

On the subject of sprites and EW, All the tanks are being redone with new treads, so the appear more alive, so far I got one finished.

As a little surprise both Lilacs and Ner need alternative dress designs so the player can choose if they want to play as them in normal cloths or not. Lets just say Lilacs is a little tired....


Units, the Frill for CW is all most done only Air, Naval, and a few ground units remain, once there done I'll get back to work on the EW sprites (Frill are almost done there too).

If I can get the CW sprites done today, and posted on the CW forums. I'll get to work some on unit designs. Kal posted some interesting Halo tanks, that have given me some ideas for the Thorn Heavy and B-Tank. Y THX THR PAL!

Image: Need help on the sprite, but I’ll have a sketch up sooner or later.

Theme: None yet. Something Dark and techno would do best, to fit into the Thorn theme.

Bio: A criminal, who could brake into any vault, He was born with a strong lust for money and jewels, which brought him on this terrible career. He had it all, richest, power, and the love of his life. But one day it was all lost. He and his love were visiting a small Thorn outpost, thought to be holding more than half of the Military funding, planning to raid it.

That night He and his lover prepared for the raid and quickly snuck into the base, but they weren’t the only ones after the prize inside. A large Frill force attack the outpost on the same night, the battle lit the dark sky and clouded the ground with smoke. Once the fight was over and the Frills had left with there treasure, He came out of a small bunker only to find his love to be gunned down.

From that day fourth, He swore to destroy the Frill nation, he dropped his old name a switched to a new, Rink. He joined the Thorn army and rose into the ranks, a few years after the tragic night; Rink had been promoted to CO.

Personality: Aggressive and hard, but a small crack in his hatred is beginning to show.

Look: About average height for a Thorn Era (5’ 4”), Rinks scales are very dark and unwelcoming. Always has an unhappy look on his face, and doesn’t seem like others.

In Game Description: An excriminal, with a lust for money.

Sprites! every now and then I'll post all the EW sprites I have have total, the Frill are almost done just need the Rocket, direct AA, and APC, then I can work on the air craft.

Stencyl seems to be going good, this is the month the Alpha version comes out. I may join there forums to get better updates, and over all talk with the staff and learn about things going on.

Frill Battle tank time, Now you all love B-ships right? You all love tanks right?
Well lets put the to together!

The Frill Battle tank is a Battle ship that can travel on both land and sea, is both direct and indirect. I'll have a rough sketch of it later, but to day is mostly Frill and Thorn land units, Ive got to add more detail to the Thorn Light tank model in GS and it should be ready. The B-Tank likely wont start until the Frill B-ship is done, because its just a B-ship with Treads and a few extra cannon, new paint job too.

DZ hasn't replied yet to my PM on SF-O, I know he's a busy man, but I would like him on the team, hes real good a music, but don't tank my word for it here's his site [link] .

Era wars- You may have notice, the Thorn and Frill army unit rough drafts are up. These are partly final, so if you have any thing you would like to say about them say it NOW.

Things will be broken up into parts, The Frill and Thorn will be sprited first, because they are the first two introduced in the game. As for the Leaf and Sha, CO and background development will been done at the same time.

Notes:

1. Spriting all the units for each army will take a wile, especially because I will draw every unit. The Frill are about 25% finished (25%land 25%Naval 25% Sea 25%CO's, HQ, ect.) the only missing land units are Missile, Rocket and Anti-air.

Personal things- Mother is going to Ireland for 2 weeks, she will be leaving Thursday at the Nashville Airport. I'll be going with her up to the Airport to say my good byes. Meaning I'll be gone all day Thursday.

Games- A friend let me borough Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, and...O MY FREAK'N GOD this game rocks! And its been the reason why I haven't hit hard on the sprites or any new drawings, sorry. But when I done with TP I promise to get the Frill done (If they don't get done) and start on the Thorns.

The Frill AA is on a slight holed until I can think of a better cannon than the Sha looking on I have right now, but the less I work on EW getting the units done, the more I fell that I keep people waiting.

Right now I am going to sketch some Ideas (How ever few they are) down, and play some LOZ TP, just to get my mind of the matter. Maybe if I work on the characters more it would help get my mind going good again? but for now see y'all later.

Not yet ether, there are a few Musicians on the AWN community board that I will ask, plus I will poke DZ (Friend from SF-O) and ask for his help. If you know your way around a piano (Or and instrument) and wish to help drop an note to me or comment in this journal, but hurry there is only one spot for Musician.

Graphics:
Concept art is a must, and I want someone good to do it, the sprites will be done by me. If you want to help you know the how it goes, just drop me a note or comment in this journal, there are two spots open.

Each member will get a stamp showing there a member of the project, a club will also start when EW officially begins and there is enough members.

No cash, sorry...what? if I give cash to you, I would have to give cash to all that worked on Stencyl too, and trust me I ain't that rich.

All Frill, all the time, with the introduction of Era Wars (See tomorrows journal) the Frill will be the most worked on nation, because there some what the good guys. Not just on land units (I swear to god I'll get the recon done I just need good advice on it) Air and Navel are coming too.

Plus, because Era wars is a video game, and drawings won't work to well there, each unit is getting a sprite version of it made. Y'all at SF-O Forums have all ready seen the Frill Rifle grunt, Light and Heavy tank sprites, but once I get every unit for each nation done, I'll submit a big piece with all the sprites animated together. Because I know you love big animations of things shooting stuff ;3

Keep in mind the sprites will only be made until the Drawing is 110% done. (To keep out any last minuet changes)

Era Wars the finished game will be coming out MABEY Summer of 08 or Jan. of 09, I am still wanting for Stencyl to coming out in Fall of this year (Thats a mabey too). See and talk with everyone later, now I going the steak house and after that take a nice looooooooooooong shower, oh yeah!

That and I've got a new project coming up, once the program above is released. I will need some help on the project this time, the spots are listed below:

1. Story writer: (Some one who can put together a good story line)

2. Musician: (The characters are going to need themes)

3. Testers: (They get all the fun)

The graphics work will be done by me, if you want to sign up just drop me a note or comment, we can have more than one of each but I am not going to hire 349,862,734,963,462,346 million people.

The Sha Heavy tank Design sheet is coming just needs detail, coloring and Inking, after that I PROMISE to have a battle seine, Its just every time I think of one its hard to get it on paper.
Y HALO THAR Recon, The Frill Recon is the next new unit, a design plain will turn up in my scraps soon, but Like I said up top, every thing is halted from getting on DA until printer is fixed.

New Project!!!!

Mugen I sure some of you have hear about it, is a 2d fighting open source game engine. You can download characters, stages, or mostly anything on to it, Mugen can also play almost any sound file on any stage and can possibly be play on an XBOX 360! But best of all, you, yes you can make your own characters for Mugen! Thats right:
You want Lilacs vs Kal you got it!
You want Katara vs Raj you got it!
You want Koze tag team with Brook vs Kal and Raj you got!!
Programing the characters looks and by the way the book tells it, it seems easy. But for my first character the Mugen site has all ready programed characters with out any sprites(The image of the character its self) that I will use for learning.

The Tank project is still under way, the Leaf and Sha heavy tanks are in the rough drafting stage.

All units project has come to a stop I know but now because the weather is warming up some things are starting to get a little bit busier around here.

I need some time to think up the Leaf and Sha Heavy/Battle tanks. Tomorrow I'll also right a nice big document on each Era race and the characters that belong to them.

Here's a hint on the Leaf Heavy Tank:
The Leaf tank hovers, is made of stone, is unmanned, and runs off of magic!


EDIT YO!
The Image is finished, 100% inked and everything, BUT!!!!!11!! DA will not load the damn pic or any other image for that matter. Man its times like these that make me want to make my own DA with Boos and Hookers, in fact forget the part about making my own DA!


In other news The Sha and Leaf Heavy tanks are coming up soon, along with a Design sheet for the Sha Light tank. Oh- and I am going to make a Thorn themed CSS just to have two different ones.

Nothing much to say right now, I not really in the mood to draw.

Lego released the new LDD 2.0 virtual Lego building program, and its not really good. I can't get it to run with out crashing or my CPU usage going out the roof..then crashing, I blame Lego's lack of expertness in the field. Every new LDD is a new program it's self instead of being a patch for the old one resulting 27.48MB size programs and 3 or 4 different (By age) LDDs on your computer. It would be so much better if Lego just handed the Rights over to a game company and let them construct the program, but is seems Lego is to afraid to let go of there rights.

Important:
The Leaf and Sha are trading colors, the Sha are now the Yellow team and the Leaf are the Blue. The Sha are Yellow now because of the sandy home and the Leaf are blue like the ocean that rounds there land.

The Sha light tank is penciled in, after that is the Leaf light tank then Heavy tanks galore!

The Sha General has be created after the Pet Store's mascot Charley:
