A bithday preasent came from not so much someone i love or care about but rather a faceless buracratic institution, the school newspaper. They just came out with the new issue with my article and drawings in it. I wrote about pat robertsons comments about assasinating venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

I've also gotten a bob dylan book, oil paints, the new al franken book, and my uncle is helping me build my didaly bow. happy happy days.

I drew a picture of the folk musician Woody Guthrie with his guitar with the words "This Machine kills Fascists" written on it. I might try to scan it in within the next couple of days.
Woody was the one who wrote the "This Land is your Land" Song
it's now been fucked up into being a run of the mill patriotic song but when Woody wrote it, it was a protest left wing song.
It originaly had the verses:

I walk dogs at the local Humane Society every sunday night with my aunt. About a week ago they asked if we would do an offical T-shirt for the dog walkers, so we agreed (I drew and she disigned it). And after many grueling hours of Drawing dogs and paisting them together in adobe we had our T-shirt. We submited it and it's being considered right now. So if it goes through it could be my very first T-shirt design (of many more in the future, of course)

Twas my uncles birthday today so me, my aunt, and him went out to a music shop to look at a guitar shop (Xanadu for any midtowners). I'd been in before and noticed some badass homemade electric cigar box guitars. Their freakin awsome cause the owner makes and asembles almost everyting like the pickups, It's got two necks and 4 strings (1 bass 3 guitar strings.) And it's all coming out of an ordinary cigar Box. Ya hook it up to two amps one base and one electric. We got my uncle an acoustic one with one string (didaly Bo). Freakin awsome!

Big Happy fun news! If you can remember about 3 or 4 journal entries ago, I said that I was doing two ads for my Parent's shop "Flashback." One was for the local free paper- The Memphis Flyer, and the other was for a rock 'n' roll calander that a local record store called Shangrila was putting out. Well the Flyer ad has come and gone, but just a few days ago the 2006 calander came out. So I picked up a copy and I do believe it's the most awsome thing i've ever seen in my life. My ad is on the "December" page, It's 1 inch by 10 inches and at the very bottom of the page. It truly is a badass calander. So if you want it here's what to do: If your in Memphis go down to Shangrila and get or if your not in town go to the website [link] and order it online. Even if you don't give about my ad, It's still a really cool calander. And Com'on, you all need 2006 calanders!

It has a really badass picture of Sid Vicious outside the Taliesyn Ballroom, the place that the Sex Pistols played when they came to Memphis in '78. They have since torn it down. It's now a fucking Taco Bell.

The bad news is I have to go back to school soon. So I had to cut my hair and shave my beard to fit the dumbass dresscode.

Anywho I'm back from my big backpacking trip in Colorado
a total of 38 miles in the backcountry carrying a freakin' huge backpack for 6 nights and 7 days, It was fun but extreemly exausting, we got up to about 12,000 feet in the middle of our loop. And we got caught in 4 hailstorms out their, we were able to get in the tent for three of 'em but one caught us on the trail and above the treeline, where we could have been stuck by lightning like a mother fucker.

We saw an ass load of animals too, (acutual numbers, I counted) 43 elk, 21 deer, 5 moose, 2 marmets, and a freakin' Cougar Cub!

But now I'm back and the realization has hit me that school's about to start back up, crap-a-doodle. I gotta get to work on those freakin' book reports, I got ten days, only ten freakin' days left!

But the good news is I'ma try to hook the scanner up to my computer so I can submit sum-more of my stuff without having to bother Ivy so i can use her scanner, I'm also trying to learn to hook up the didital camera up to my computer so I can submit some of my larger drawings that won't fit in the scanner.

Welp, I finaly got my long overdue subscription!

In fact why would anyone pay? One of the reasons I got started on DA is it's free! I'm not gonna pay for it even if it is only five bucks. But I guess the real reason is, common let's face it "Commie-Boy" looks so much better with The "~" sign in front of it than the * sign. It's just more pleasing to the eye!

Anyway, during the week that I've come back from Japan and leave for Colorado I've gotten two days of shooting the Movie, and an Improv Practice, and with all the oganizing that needs to be done I'm fairly exausted all the time. But all of the raw footage looks extreamly funny! So I've got about 4 more days of shooting to do when I get back, and We've got to edit, much editing is required.

So I'll be gone on sunday for two weeks to Colorado to wear my ass out backpacking for 8 days, not apealing to most, extreamly apealing to me!

Thats another thing, The subscription will be running mostly while I'm In Colorado! So I guess when I get back I'll have my nice litttle "~" sign back

Also My mom asked me too draw an add for a rock n roll calander that A local recourd store "shagrala" is putting out, Its gonna be going all over the world, and I drew it in kind of an R. Crumb style it looks very much like what we sell in the store. And some lady fixed it up in photo shop a little and it was also used in an add for the Memphis Flyer as well. So that kicks ass.
Ill scan them in to DA as soon as I get a chance.

Also if you'll remember my infinantly popular cartoon caracter "Billy Bulb" Theirs some talk that he might be put on a t-shirt and sold in the shop which would be infinantly exelent, He's had some changes recently to his eyes to make him more apealing to small children and old people.

Well not really Japan has pretty much no street crime, but I did got to Tiawan as well, which is a little less safe but nothing like lets say... Kingston!

anywho, It was very fun I got a whole bunch of Punk stuff in a Cool district all the kids hang out on sunday. And I took some pictures for you Anna! I'll put the ones with the most badass outfits up on DA if I can figure out all the uploading crap.

Taiwan was pretty cool too my mom has a cousin who works their and she showed us around, saw the Tallest building in the world, BEAT THAT! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I got my computer back so I shall go about answering all of your comments whitch are so infinatly important to me (Cough)!

but jesus it was fun, we did three acts in between the ceremony, the first act wasn't so good because I was a tad nervice and the games were probuably the most difficult. The secound act however, I kicked so much ass at, i probably got as many laughs as anyone! The third act we all kicked ass at!

But its also really sad because half of the troup is leaving next year (senoirs) and this is probably the only show i'll get to do with them. They are really super smart funny and great guys.
I've learned so much from them (Thomas, Bart, and Philip if you go to my school) that its extreemly sad to see them have to leave. However I have the upmost confidence in our new leader, John Krooger. He's one of my best friend and a smart guy. So I will, this time, let you guys know when our next show is, but it probably won't be till next year.

(I dont know why they call it that) and it is sooo much FUN! Aperenty i'm really good at to, because I was cracking them up and It was my very first time and i was just learning the games right then and their. By the way Improve games are the funnest thing in the history of the world. The other guys really liked me and thought I had a bunch of potential in improve. I'm not in the troop yet but they said that all I really had to do was show up to the audition at the start of the next school year and i'm pretty much garenteed to get in!!
But untill them i'm going to pracice with them probibly two times a week, every week, it sounds like a lot of work but its sooo much fun! I'll be sure to let you all know when our first gig is.

Now, if i could, I'd like to vent about something.

Cardenal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI is probably a testiment to how corrupt and Blastfumus the Catholic church has become. First of all, When he was fourteen he joined the Hitler Youth and worked for the Nazi cause in WWII. Now before all you supportors of this guy get to saying that he "didn't have a choice" let me say that thats BULLSHIT, he had a choice, resistance was in NO WAY futile in nazi controlled europe. Ever heard of the White rose socity? they were resisting, This Pope is just weak and a coward! and if he's not a coward he's a NAZI, which is worse? And of course the right wing nuts at my school are defending him when I try to convey this information, the dumb fucks! Their is a whole slew of information against this guy and I truly don't have time.
