Got it, had it, died, need it, broke, blah...

So, yesterday My game computer died. This, after trying for days to get it hooked up to my home network. We eventually got it working, even played Command and Conquer once or twice, then it just took a heaping shit! Motherboard, Kathy says. Of course the one in there is $80 but it has B-A-D reviews. Need a new one... $199?!? HOLY WTF?!? Looked a few up online and found one or two but I'm computer dumb! All I know is, I need a SUPER board for a good price. It needs to be at least compatible/better than winfast NF4SK8AA. If you're computer smart, help...

On to the art stuff. Kathy knew I was bummed about the computer so today she bought me a pack of prisma markers. It wasn't much but it really made my day! Now all I need to do is learn how to use them. So far, I suck but they totally rule, and they're rad too.

Had I never picked up a pen, where would I be? Had I not met the few that I've met on DA where would I be? Well, actually, probably sitting here in the same spot, only sending emails or playing games, not updating a journal. Topic, read the subject, thanks. Thank you to the one person, keeping you nameless, who showed interest in Lilly and Lolli, the twin sisters; goth, who've actually never met and know nothing of each other. It means a lot. Thank you again for your interest in buying their character(s). However, to you, sir, the man who contacted me through myspace, I'm sorry but it isn't in my interest to sell prints, much less characters, as of yet. Still trying to get my act together. I have a lot of work to do and no time to finish. Hands need to be kissed, babies need to be shaken, or vise versa. Soon though, promises will be kept and prints will be donated to worthy causes. Not through DA, but through a club/show/whatever seems interesting.

Thank you though, for your interest.

Sittin, drinkin a pepsi and wanting a smoke. Think I'll go have one in a minute. The wifey is playing C&C Generals:zero hour and I am sweaty from my run. 5 miles; not too bad. Felt good but now my nipples are rubbed raw. WHY IS THAT!?! BAD feelin man I swear. Cleaned up a bit on my DApage. Wow some of the stuf was more horrible that the crap I have posted now, believe it or not, I used to think I had skillz until I came to dA. Ultimate goal is 1000 views, for now. Half way isn't bad but i've been here over two years. That IS bad. I must suck worse than ever. Last few days I've been sketchin the hell out of just a load of random junk and I think I can work it all into more terrible renditions of cartoon people, places and things. Tomorrow maybe I'll start somethin else new. Can't go to work, the older of the twerps has strep, so she gets to stay home AGAIN!!! Damn I wish it were that easy for me anymore. I have to make an appointment and get a doctor's orders to stay home for 24 hours. The earliest appointment is usually in the afternoon and until I go to the said appointment, I have to be at work. Hell, with no sick days I might as well stay at work.

See? told you it was a bunca nuthin.

OK, so fer thoze uv you's who care, Im in a bit uva pickle. I've been contacted by a friend who is releasing an album , entitled "L Train" with her band. I'm very happy for her and though her music is a bit different than what I listen to on a daily basis (FLOGGING MOLLY, WOOOOOOOOO) she's a VERY talented girl. And she's also VERY worthy of you visiting her site [link] (my fav track is A New Day)

Alas, the pickle... I've been asked to do a little piece for insert art and they want something for every song on a scene that takes place in a train station. Sounds easy enough and I already have a few sketches. The insert is only going to be 5-13/16 X 11-5/8 (a double fold out) and I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with ideas for a few of their songs and how to fit them all in. If you're interested in helping, let me know. I could use the help and a few fresh ideas... and the dill of the pickle? It has to be done by the 20th! woe is me... help pleez
