i am about to graduate from the digi-gaming program, and have been accepted into HBU-
not sure if thats the final choice, but i have at least one option open there right now.

looking into starting mapping again. reading some dr. seuss books for inspiration, as well as checking out some of the amazing vector artists and photographers on d-a.

yo, sorry to announce that barely anything came out of the shoot in the hills. there was one or 2 shots that were ok. ill put them on later.

raul and i have been too lazy and get out too late to do anything productive w/ shooting. /:

there is still time, but much time has been wasted.

in other news. 2 forces have risen to effectively reduce my productivity to nil. for those of you who play first person shooters, there is much for you to rejoice about.

F.E.A.R. Combat was released this week, giving the whole world the ENTIRE multiplayer portion of this amazing game for FREE!!! check it out at [link].

also release was the demo for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. dont let the name fool you into thinking this is some lame D&D knock off, imagine what it would be like to go toe to toe with an orc in lord of the rings... where you control every sword stroke, and the action is visceral and amazingly executed. i have never before played a game that made me feel more in control of my actions, or powerful once i learned how to use the fighting system.

the demo is short, featuring one main action point past the training, where you fight 8 or so orcs. i saved the game just before the encounter and reloaded the fight at least 30 times, just to play it over again. every single fight unfolds differently than the fight before.

some of the most memorable moments are as follows.
the entire fight takes place on a cliff face, and so there are ample opportunities to kick your foes over the edges, however some of the more creative means of dispathing foes include:

A: Luring the unsuspecting orc to charge at you, who is defenceless, then cast an ice blast on the ground a la sub zero from mortal combat and have him slip, sprawling headlong between your legs over the edge.

B: Let an orc chase you around the room a bit, getting him to build up speed, and then cast the ice blast in front of a fire, so that the orc slips into the fire, causing him to dance around while burning to death.

C: Using daggers provides some of the more entertainingly drawn out fights, since they are weaker, you dont kill your enemies as fast... giving more time to expirement... once your aggression level is high enough, you can preform a special attack w/ your weapon, one such attack includes tossing a dagger into the throat of your enemy... very satisfying...

if you dont believe me... check it out [link]

Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their devpage comments and tell them to read yours....

1. I am a procrastinator.
