Well then. Sorry 'bout that. I've turned into more of a lurker for the past year or so, a lot of things going on. 'Net Drama, lack of interest, focusing on a developing project/company with ~Foxfirestorm, other games, lack of a scanner... Just a very complicated and busy past year, one thing after another.

SO. Went to the Air Force Museum tour and saw a /lot/ of planes. B-1 Lancer, the Fulcrum, F-22, B-2, F-117, and a /lot/ of other ones. Didn't see an F-14 (awwwh) but ah well. The admission price is a bit steep ($45 admission, I believe) and the IMAX theatre and cafeteria food are extra, but it's well worth the sore legs from walking so much. Also, take the 'residential tour'--for free, you get to see 4 old Presidential planes and also the hangar where they have the experimental planes like the Valkyrie (basis of Jetfire/Skyfire's alt-mode, I think, beyond Macross/Robotech and all).

I met a lot of people at the 'Con as well. Fusillade, Spectrum, Neva, Whirligig, and a few others here at DA. Hehe, yeah, we had fun times and sometimes not-so-fun, but it all worked out so it's OK.

And the all-important dealer room. I spent roughly $312 in there over three days, but what I got was worth it. XD; Since there was a lot of stuff going on in the background, I gave a G1 Sixshot (with one blaster) to Spectrum from 2k5 MUSH as thanks, since he /did/ want it and technically saw it first. Let's see, what did I get...?

Yesterday morning started out with sleet and freezing rain--so I kept my youngest brother home instead of making him walk to the bus-stop in that stuff. (and 'cause I didn't want to stand in the cold watching him to make sure he gets down there OK). Turns out school was let out 2 hours early too, so my younger brother got home at about 1:45 or so (due to the bus being slower than usual).

Last night, we got a heapin' helpin' of sleet and freezing rain--and I /swear/ I heard thunder too! It didn't turn to snow until sometime early this morning, but when I woke up a few hours ago, we had about 3-4 Inches of snow--and it's still coming down. Not to mention the single-digit wind-chill. >>;

Well, now my two brothers are at my father's (they left shortly after my brother got home from school), and my sister's at her boyfriend's. Which leaves me and my mom at the house. Everyone's all nice and cozy... but now I'm getting fidgety getting stuck in the house, even though I /know/ it's not safe going outside right now. Bah... u.u;

At least it's not so bad in my area. In Louisville and Cinci (and in CJ's area), it's at least a foot of that soft white cold stuff on the ground, and it's still coming down over there too. Seems like it followed the Ohio River, actually... And, if the roads are this bad in my area, I'd hate to see how bad they are in those places...

*The Dusting = A Lexington (KY) inside-joke referring to the last heavy snowfall about a decade ago--roughly 1998 or thereabouts. Meteorologists predicted that it would only be a bunch of flurries at best ("We're only expecting a dusting")... but it snowed--hard--for about 3 days straight. When all was said and done, we had about 12-18" on the ground and school was out for most of the week as we dug ourselves out. The poor meteorologists have never lived it down, and it's become an inside-joke for us ever since.

Is it because I'm not really active anywhere else on DA--and most other places as well? Is it because I don't color any of my drawings (as of right now)? Is my drawing ability degrading or something? Am I not drawing what you're interested in anymore? Or is it something else entirely that I don't know about?

I'm not a social person by nature, thus why I'm rarely seen anywhere online nowadays. I've been working on writing (as in yes, hand-writing) TF and Keeper stories, as well as sketching whatever comes to mind whenever I feel like it. Hence why actual works are rare from me nowadays.

Please tell me so I can improve on whatever I'm doing wrong. o.o;

I went to go see a sneak preview of the movie "The Golden Compass" with my mother (who also wanted to see it), and one of the previews before the movie was an advertisement/music-video for the Army's National Guard. I say 'music video' because it was framed much like a music-video on MTV or something, and (for me) the 'commercial' was very haunting.

The song is "Citizen Soldiers" by 3 Doors Down, if anyone's interested in listening to it.

Oh yeah, if you're interested in fantasy (Narnia, Harry Potter, etc.), go see The Golden Compass once it comes out. It's not as bad as all of the naysayers say, in my opinion.

Concerning my "Keepers of Kaiow" stories, I'm still working on the exact form of the Keepers themselves--although I've gotten a very good idea by now. I've mapped out the main continent of Kaiow, where most of the stories will take place, and am currently working on putting together a basic storyline of what happens throughout the series. It's shaping up to be long and quite interesting.

As for Transformer stuff... I'll let that come to me as it usually does. My inspiration in that department seems to've dimmed somewhat while I work on my personal, non-TF storyline.

See, as some of you know, my drawing muse concerning Transformers has gone out the window, and I've been complaining about it. So. I finally got to draw something today--only, it wasn't a TF. It was a dragon, and I know exactly where he came from

Y'see, a long time ago, I started creating a story that is completely my own, as far as I know. It follows the story of a certain world with their inhabitants (I think I called them Gaians at the time) and the 'Avatars' of that world--basically what we consider to be 'gods' and 'goddesses', but that is not what they are (although are usually mistaken as such). It was a very long time ago, before "Avatar: The Last Airbender" came out, and it kinda dropped out of my mind for a bit.

Well, it's back, and it seems to be here to stay for a while. Only now, the 'Avatars' are known as 'Keepers' (of whatever realm/sign they were created from), and the names of the regular people are up in the air. I've drawn what a Keeper may look like, since my original concept was more like the video-game Jak-Series 'elves' and I wanted something more original. Normal 'eople' are similar, but with some slight differences.

I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing any artwork and/or data that comes from this idea of mine, seeing how most of my gallery is dedicated to Transformers. And, I'm sure, that's why most people still watch me. Also, this (hopefully) original concept is based on Creationism/Christianity to a certain extent (yes, I am a Christian despite my language or attitude at times), so I'm not sure if people might be offended by it.

Yes, I realize that I've worried a few people.

*sigh*

Geez, I sound like a jerk... *curses lack of sleep and a full stomach on top of that--thanks to the Golden Corral 'Military Appreciation Monday' free buffet they had for veterans/active duty soldiers*

Let me start at the beginning.

Over a month ago, I had to go to the VA's ER for sudden onset of asthma-like symptoms following a bout with a cold. I was there for about 2 hours, getting treatment and all, and ended up coming back home. When I still needed an albuterol (sp?) inhaler to /breathe/, I called my VA doctor's office. Yeah, should'a known better. They basically told me to take Mucinex and call back later that week if it doesn't improve. Well, the Mucinex upset my stomach and I /still/ needed the inhaler 'cause of wheezing in my left lung, but I didn't feel like getting treated like an idiot yet /again/ by going in to see the doctor. (see a previous journal entry about the last time).

So. Went to a whole foods store about a week and a half ago and got some homeopathic drugs for 'bronchial cough', and that seems to've worked--although it wasn't until this past week when I finally stopped trying to cough up my left lung when trying to get in a full breath. Also, it seems like my creativity has taken a downfall in the meantime, which is why you haven't seen anything from me in the past... 2 months. *growls*

I am no longer signing onto MSN or Yahoo Messengers, so that's why many of you haven't seen me there. AIM is still online, I'm just mainly invis and not very talkative when/if you do see me. *flops* Also, I still play on MapleStory, but my times might change depending on my wonky sleep-schedule.

So yeah. Just a small update to let you guys know that yes, I'm still around...

OK, anyways. Godbird here at DA finally convinced me to try the free MMORPG game out a bit, and I admit that I am /hooked/. Not to the point of blocking out my normal activities on the 2k5 MUSH, but certainly something to do.

I have 3 characters right now, actually, but I'm focusing the most on my archer. Seems like my main has become my archer, although I was hoping it would be my warrior. Ratchete=Magician (cleric), PeaceKepyr=Archer (crossbowman), and Conveyus=Warrior (page). I settled in Khaini for now, although I might switch somewhere else eventually. We'll see.

If any of you who play MapleStory (Con, Godbird--I'm looking at you two especially ) happen to be online when I am, by all means let me know your chars, world, and all that stuff so I know who you are when I see ya. XD I have a sneaky suspicion that Godbird's in Windia, but I could be wrong. :> I normally start playing about 3-6 AM EST, and I normally stop playing once the place becomes crowded--roughly anytime between 10 AM-12 PM EST.

You see, I was once a moderator of a Message Board TF:G1 RPG called 'War Dawn' about a year ago. It basically ignored TROOP and Rebirth and created its own continuity, picking up a few years after the Season 3 episode 'The Burden Hardest to Bear'--no later than 2010, I believe. Unfortunately, I got burnt out and stepped down--and soon stopped playing altogether--but even so, the experience gave me plenty of ideas. Both directly from the RPG and from my own mind. Ideas that have laid dormant... until now.

You see, there's officially... what, about 300 Terran-years or so between the end of G1 and the 'true' setting of Beast Wars? During which time technology shifted from 20' robots in (vehicular) disguise, to Pretender shells with size-shifting capabilities, to Cassetticon/Autotape-sized robots with organic-capable alt-modes (or at least most in beast modes by BW timeframes). Not to mention the change in 'faction-names' from Autobot/Decepticon to Maximal/Predacon, and the changes to Cybertron itself--all in a rather short amount of time to the TF's (after all, it takes about 74 of /our/ years to equal one of theirs--a vorn).

But I digress.

Back to those Plotbunnies. They decided to visit me and remind me of these ideas, which I finally got around to compiling into a solid storyline. I won't spoil everything, but the titles give clues as to what the story is about, and each title seems to form a chronological 'oem' of sorts as you progress through the storyline. The first story actually takes place sometime between 2005 (post TF:TM) and 2006 (before FFOD), but it ties into the storyline later on, believe me. As of now, there are /about/ 13 stories in the series. And, one of my stories already here at DA--Release--also ties into this series. It is tentatively called "Transformers: Legends", but I'm open to other names for this series if there are any suggestions.

In any case, before I ramble on any longer... Would there be anyone willing to read these stories whenever I get around to writing them and posting them up?

I'll try to get working on that again sometime soon, especially since I've been getting some ideas about it. And some of you have requested pictures from me in recent days--I promise, I haven't forgotten. I will work on those soon.

I do want to make this clear. If you see a pencil drawing somewhere in my scraps and/or my gallery that you would like to color (or even a colored picture you'd like to improve on through Photoshop or something), please feel free to Note me. I'm horrific at coloring, and I don't really have the patience for hand-inking and hand-coloring my works with Sharpies anymore. All I ask in return is that you ask me first and give me credit once you post it. ^^

Although, if you want to draw a pic of your own about one of my characters, don't worry about Noting me. Just give me credit and give me a heads-up once it's posted.

I regret going /into/ the Army sometimes.

And this is one of those times.

Here's the story.

Yesterday, I was moving stuff around, trying to get the bed I sleep on comfortable. I started getting a pain on the inside of my left knee, and at first my mom (a nurse) and I were afraid I did something to my ACL (a tendon in my knee).

Fast-forward to this afternoon, when I woke up. I tested my knee, trying to see if it still hurts as bad. Well, the tendons seemed to be behaving, but when I cupped my hand over the kneecap, I could /feel/ (and /hear/) my knee grinding as I bent and straightened the limb. Not to mention that my left leg is now in agony.

So now my mom's afraid that something's happened to my meniscus (however it's spelled), aka the 'adding' in my knee, since the grinding means that the bones of my legs are rubbing together. So now I'm stuck 'walking' (if it could be called that) around with a knee-brace and crutches /once again/, at least until I go to the VA tomorrow morning to get it checked out.

Dammit.

UPDATE!

And now I feel like an idiot.

Went to the doctor this morning after NOT getting any sleep last night (yay for those cans of Starbucks Doubleshots!), and she told me that all I did was irritate the tendonitis that I've already got. She claims that the grinding is 'normal', saying that my /right/ knee is also grinding (and if it is, I don't feel it). She told me to ice it, elevate it, and take ibuprofen; and that it should be back to 'normal' in a week or two.

All things considered, I'm not surprised--she probably thinks I'm trying to raise my disability rating or something. Fraggin' military doctors. Don't matter if you're a soldier or a vet. They're all the same. -______-+++

Only good thing to come out of all of this is that I needed to go in for my yearly check-up anyways.

So, although I have a feeling that I'm gonna regret this... What would you like to see me draw--or heck, what pic in my scraps would you like to see colored?

Drawing ideas can be canon or MY fanmades--of which, I admit, I have very few drawings of other than CP, Air Striker, Soulreaver, and Regen. I can't draw other people's fanmades to save my life, Spectrum being the exception (and that's only 'cause I felt like it at the time, TBH). I've considered drawing Revenant--those of you in the 2k5 MUSH will know who I'm talking about--in an Undertaker-like trenchcoat and hat, but I can't seem to translate it to paper. Yet.

I was also considering trying to draw a 28 meme drawings kind of thing with Peacekeeper, like what Heatherbeast did with Fusillade. Primus knows I need more practice drawing my 2k5 OC. I've got most of my ideas listed already (Sheba, you've already seen the list), but I'm open to ideas anyways.

I know that when a work is faved that I've done SOMETHING right that made ya like it. But I'd like to know what that 'something' is, maybe so I can keep doing it. Critiques to my work are always welcome, especially since my scanner loves to mess up my pictures and colors when I scan 'em in. And I don't mind replying back to a critique or a comment--or heck, even a question you may have about something.

My point is... I've been RP'ing Bluestreak in 2k5 and War Dawn, and for the past two weeks or so, I've been unable to 'shut him down' within my mindspace. Hence all of these Bluestreak Deviations/scraps lately. Normally, I wouldn't mind that much, but after SOSV--.

*stops and shakes her head* Ah yes, and then there's a fanfic I'm currently writing. "Shadowed Optics Silenced Voices", or SOSV for short. This... is just creeeeeeepy, especially since it WON'T leave me alone until I finish writing it. Basically, the premise is this--I have (personally) NEVER seen a fanfic of what had specifically happened to Bluestreak when his hometown/city-state was destroyed. This story tells that, and how Bluestreak became a part of Optimus Prime's personal 'team'--the Ark Crew, Chosen 12, whatever you call them.

I swear, I've got a 'CP-mode' and a 'Bluestreak-mode'. 'CP-mode' is my usual self, maybe a bit dry humor-wise and a bit too serious for my own good, but that's just me. 'Bluestreak-mode' is when I'm stuck in a PTSD episode, and my attitude and such EXACTLY mirror Bluestreak's whole demeanor (minus the chattiness).

Although... these episodes normally doesn't last this long. o.O;;; Maybe my PTSD is worse than I thought...

That's right, I turned 20 today. My family and I just went out to a restaurant for supper, although I couldn't eat much since I got sick JUST last night. I probably shouldn't have gone out at all today, but I was NOT gonna lie around on my own birthday and do nothing.

No word on presents yet, but I don't mind. Having the chance to actually get the family together for an hour or two was good enough for me. ^^ But, I guess I can be persuaded to edit this journal whenever I get something.

I'm doing alright, even with stress levels building with War Dawn kicking off and such. (Godbird, I know for certain you know what I'm talking about.)

Now, if you've noticed, I've been putting some old works up that I somehow missed over the months that I've been a part of DA. Still no scanner (yet), but I have the money to buy one--so here's hoping I get one soon.

EDIT: I now have a SCANNER!!! XD Actually it's an Hewlett-Packard 3-in-one scanner/copier/printer, and I got it at a rather cheap price too! Gotta love Office Depot... *grinz* ...oh boy, here come the pencil stuffs, so keep an optic/eye out on my Scrap-pile! And now that I've got those pencils scanned, maybe I can now finally start coloring... >D

Well, everyone else in my family got it, and I was hoping that it would forget I was around. No such luck. So now I'm sick with the flu. Body chills, achy throat, sleeping for 12 hours a day (normally, I get 7-9), and occassionally coughing up stuff and making my sore throat hurt worse.

Well, news isn't all bad. I finally managed to take cell-phone pics of all three of my repaints (Regen, Epicenter, and Soulreaver), and they're in my Scraps since the quality is SOOOO poor. I'm gonna add in a scythe to Soulreaver's pic as soon as I get the Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom figure I ordered, and I'll add that pic up ASAP.

As for other things... well, I've got a new TF fanfic coming up soon, which I'm calling "Silence". Some may know what it's about, but I'm keeping the majority of it a secret. I've got plenty of drawings I need to get on the computer, but without the scanner nessisary to do it.

UUUUUUUGH. This really isn't my week... *slumps in CP's hands as the Autobot medic / HMW Team Commander tries to comfort her human Creator*

Yeah, my jaw dropped too when I saw the C-Wing Saber. xD He's still in the box, don't worry. I had to put away Alternators Optimus Prime and Cybertron Vector Prime for 'Christmas presents', but I don't mind. Cybertron Wing Saber, on the other hand, is gonna be saved for something else... well, if I can ever get it worked out, at least.

So yeah... that's been my massive TF toy haul for the past two or three weeks. None too shabby, wouldn't you say?

Here's the kicker--since I paid for the laptop with my debit card, I had to wait for them to mail me my money back in a check. I decided right then and there that I wouldn't try to buy a computer from Best Buy ever again. Well, it took a week or two, but I got my check and put it on a laptop I found in Office Depot--a laptop I intend to keep.

The laptop I now have is a Toshiba, although I don't have exact specs on it ATM. Nor do I really care. (^_^) The point is, I now have an internet-accessable computer of my own.

Anyways, things are looking better on the home front. Sis and I are on speaking terms--FRIENDLY speaking terms, I should say--and things are settling down. My poor cat, Buddy, seems to be absolutely terrified of being alone when I'm in another room, so I have to deal with him now. *siiiiigh* Typical...

Finally, it seems like my infamous sleep-schedule (for those who know me) has struck again. Now I'm falling asleep at the normal hours of night--say about 10-11 PM to roughly 7 AM. NOT good when one of your friends is only on between midnight and 3 AM (you know who you are. ) Maybe I can get it readjusted further...

After being in the military for 9 months, and then staying with my grandmother for about 4-5 months, I've found that my family and I have all but split apart. Believe me, I sure didn't want that to happen, but I missed a lot of stuff while I was gone and I've got little to show for it. *siiiiigh*

Well, enough of my depressive mood. I hope some of you are heading down (or up) here for Botcon--maybe I'll see ya there.

Many of you may know me from Seibertron.com and its HMW game or its RPG. Maybe even its own fanart/fanfic section, which I lurk in every so often. I'm also a part of the AWC sub-faction in HMW, and proud of it!

And before you ask, I do not use a computer program to color my pics or edit them. I sketch, ink, and color them by hand (check out my Starscream pic in my Scrap-pile and you'll see the job I have ahead of me... ) I could, however, use an avitar of some kind and could use some help in finding/making one...

Well, anyways, I'd better not ramble on forever. All I can really say is check out my (such as it is) and don't be afraid to leave a comment or two. I could probably use the suggestions. *grin*

On a more serious note, today is 9/11. There are no words I can say to make this day of national tragedy any better, especially for those who lost friends and family 5 years ago. May we never forget. ]]> ~Conveyus-Prime
