It's coming up in a few months, & I know how much some of you cosplayers love to organise events so just giving a heads up!

As for the competition for 2009, no prize was given due to lack of entries.
So, do you guys want a competition for 2010?
For now, the prize would probably be a dA sub, maybe even a year long one.

I want your opinions, the competition is for you guys afterall!

The 24th is this Saturday, I hope you all have something fun planned, & don't forget to get those photos for the Cosplay Day competition! Use your imagination, that'll be the key to winning a 3 month dA subscription!

Note to this club anything you'd like to enter with a link before the 28th of January, & I'll feature it in the gallery with credit to the cosplayer. You can enter as many things as you like!
(If you're going to enter something late, please note this club to let me know)

If you're not sure what to do to celebrate, check the CNZ forums [link] for what other people have planned, or suggest your own idea, you never know who else in your area doesn't have anything planned yet either.

& I've noticed people living outside of NZ have joined in, so don't be shy in celebrating or entering the comp just because you don't live where it started! I know it's originally called National Cosplay Day, but making it Global Cosplay Day couldn't hurt~ Everyone's welcome, afterall, cosplay brings people together! Or something cheesy like that

I'm gonna hold a competition in this club, whoever gets the best cosplay photo specifically celebrating Cosplay Day will get a 3 month subscription! I'll gather some judges, & make the prize better depending if more people enter than I think will, or if the winning photo is mind blowing~

Not sure how to celebrate? Some people have said they're gonna sneakily wear cosplay to work, or gather with others & just have fun in cosplay & if you can't get one together in time, there's no harm in wearing an old one! After all, cosplay is cosplay!

So if you want to enter, upload your photo & send me a note with a link to it, I'll put them all in the gallery here recognising the cosplayer

Well, to all the awesome cosplayers in NZ anywho~
Thanks to all of you that commented & voted at CNZ, it really helped to get the ball rolling!
So what's gonna happen on the 24th of Jan?
Well everyone can celebrate it in their own way, small or large gatherings, use your imagination!
I'm going to hold competitions in this club, there'll be prizes such as subscriptions & other things I'll think of later, any suggestions?
Every entry will be uploaded here, with recognition to the cosplayer~ ^__^
I was thinking in the entry photos the cosplayer could hold up a sign or banner or something to show that it's Cosplay Day!

So if I've missed anything let me know, & also let other cosplayers know?
