All my moods can come from how well I am drawing that day. I wake up in the morning and start off with a quick sketch.

He always wore a beret and camo pants/shorts. He was quirky, and kept up on the latest fads. We often had discussions of different movies and music. I went to his class every day, looking forward to discussing art theory, art history, etc with him. He was never condescending, he was never cruel in his criticism. He just wanted to inspire his students, and as far as I knew that was enough for him.
What I'm trying to say is I feel like I've lost my inspiration. I feel like the wind has been knocked out of me, and I'm spiraling down. I'm taking a break. I can't handle even thinking about drawing- not when he's taught me so much. I wouldn't be where I am today without Joe McCauley. And I hope that he knows that.

When those two things meet, i am usually disappointed in the results. However, Next weekend something important happens.

The Time Traveler's Wife comes out.

the Time Traveler's Wife is one of the best books I've ever read in my life. The book has everything I ever wanted in a book: Time Travel, Romance, and Libraries. I mean, you can't get my dreams more compact than that. It also deals with real issues like death and relationships. The characters in this book are some of the most well-written characters I've encountered in a novel in a long time.
Now, everyone, I'm scared. I'm scared to see the movie because I'm so in love with the book. Its possible that I'm not going to be able to enjoy the movie at all if its got any inconsistencies.
It doesn't really matter though. Because I love this book so much anything that can come out of it, no matter how bad or terrible it may be, is something that is associated with this book- which is spectacular.

so here's my advice, deviants.
Go read this book.

I woke up at four, freaked out because I need to turn stuff in for health services to register for next semester... So I'll have to do that tomorrow, If I remember, and if I can figure out where to go.
I came to work and have been sitting on and offline for a few hours now, and I just feel inexplicably depressed. I don't know why, maybe theres a reason, and I just don't want to say it, or maybe theres not a reason and my hormones are out of whack.
Either way, I'm not sleeping, and I'm not eating. And I wake up from sleeping and am still tired. Nothing is going right in school, everything is crap. I'm sore all over all the time, for no reason. Sometimes my back hurts so much I can't breathe. And it hurts to walk sometimes.
Gahhhh, Life is a big pile of shit right now. And I feel bad, because things are not going right for a lot of my friends right now. I just want to be there for them, but in doing so, I'm pushing my own feelings of crap to the side. I can't keep ignoring it, so next time I go home, I'm talking to my parents about counseling.

I beleive the deadline for trainer ref and introduction is the 31st of October. and I are doing a practice round before the actual tourney can begin- Just as an example for ourselves, and maybe the others in the tourney. So tell me what you think of it. Its just practice, so its a one on one battle, the tournament will be three on three. Also, its kind of sloppy, ha ha. And the delibird is kind of retarded looking in some panels.
EDIT: and I are also going to do a practice round. I really like doing these. X'D I can't wait for the real thing~~~~ Its going to rock out loud.


So things I'm going to be working on this weekend(not in any particular order, of course):
1) Art for of her pkmn trainer Kat (basic)
2) Ref for because I promised him I'd get it done a week ago
3) Presents for two ONE MORE surprise person!

6) Finish Lineart for collab w/ <- just needs scanned and inked (and colored?) (EDIT: Scanner is a piece of crap, may need to reinstall)

And in other news, I am such a nerd. I hesitate to say this, but.. Does anyone else want to do trades? It doesn't have to be pokemon related!

My grandmother (the one I stayed with this year) just got diagnosed with breast cancer.
I mean, its not ... the bad kind, they're going to do a simple operation and it should catch it all. There shouldn't be any complications with the surgery, she should be okay.
But the fact that this woman, someone that I love completely and utterly, who I think is one of the strongest people I know, could have this disease that could possibly kill her... Its kind of... upsetting. I mean, I dont want her last memories of me being lazy on her couch watching word girl. And I dont want her to have to suffer through this alone. Mom is going out there for four weeks in september to help her get through the operation... but they aren't letting me go because of school.

I just dont know what to do. I'm lost again, and shes usually been my rock I can hold on to. Everything I've ever done, felt or thought, I've only ever kept her in mind. She's the reason I wanted to be a teacher, why I loved chemistry, why I tried so hard... and she encourages me to follow my heart no matter what happens.

I dont know if I can... or want to... live without her.

Oh well. Class starts in an hour, better get ready.

The thing I'm most proud of is my platypus, Gaia. BUT you'll just have to wait till I get patience/working scanner to upload all that. Most of its furry stuff, and I want to concentrate on buffing up on my humans and such. Okay?
