OC's:
I realize everyone has an opinion on this and w/e but OH MY GOD PLEASE FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD AND PURE AND SEXY IN THIS WORLD STAY OUT OF YOUR FANFICTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I realize its your fanfiction so you as the author have creative licenses and what ever but really no one wants to read about how you and Edward Cullen ran off in to the misty moon light to go and have oh so sparkly vampire/werwolf/mermaid/furry/wizard babies. I'm serious no one wants to read it. There's a reason its called FANfiction. Its supposed to be about some one else's work with there characters and your own plot. At no point should you be adding your self to this equation. This includes but is not limited to a characters lover, best friend, long lost twin sister separated at birth and given super uber kawi powers that will allow you to save the world... are you getting the feeling? let me make one thing clear I AM NOT OPPOSED TO OC's AS A WHOLE!!!!!! They can be perfectly acceptable when they serve a real purpose. They can even have plot importance but they really shouldn't have a whole lot of screen time, especially if that time is spent making out with a character already in the series. The other major problem with OC's is nine times out of ten you can find a character in the Fandom your using to serve the OC's purpose. To summarize kill all your self-inserts/ Marry Sues, or at least leave them of the internet where other people might find them. OC's are okay in moderation, and when they have a real purpose to fill.

When writing dialogue:

This is a rather popular trend among new writers and it needs to stop. Now. A lot of the dialogue in new fanfictions looks like this:

One day Bob and Fred were walking through the park."Hey what's up?" said Bob. "Not much" said Fred "Wanna go to a movie?" "Sure""Great what time should I meet you?""I don't know around Seven-thirty""Sounds great Bob""Awesome see you there"Fred and Bob hugged and went home....

I realize this is not the greatest piece of writing but it gets my point across and thats is start and new paragraph and indent when you change speakers. As you could see in the above conversation it easily got confusing as to whom was speaking. This is a very easy thing to fix watch :D

One day Bob and Fred were walking through the park."Hey what's up?" said Bob.
"Not much" said Fred
"Wanna go to a movie?"
"Sure""Great what time should I meet you?"
"I don't know around Seven-thirty"
"Sounds great Bob"

Rant on OOC-ness

Okay, this is a major problem in most fanfiction. If your going to write a fanfiction know your characters. Plain and simple. If the character is a quiet if slightly brash samurai who swears minimally in canon then he should be a quiet if slightly brash samurai who swears minimally in your fanfiction. He should not cuss every other word because you think it makes him seem sexier or what ever. That is called being OOC and it is bad. Very Bad. and it happens all the time and it needs to stop!!! Like wise if a character has a very specific speech pattern in universe that doesn't make sense in alternate universe's find a way to keep it similar. To take an example from One Piece, the CP9 member Kaku adds "ja" to the ends of words or sentences. He is also very polite. In a alternate universe fanfiction adding "ja" might sound a little strange so get rid og the "ja" but please try and keep him polite. It will sound a lot better that way and your readers will appreciate the continuity. Like wise if the character has something she or she does in canon then try to keep it in your fanfiction. Small traits, speech patterns, and personalities should be as close to canon a possible when writing fanfiction.

Now normally in theater you get a week of tech, we how ever get two days so it's very worrisome. But tour will be fun so thats goo, right!?!?!?! And the show is super funny so all we have to do is remember our lines/blocking/objectives.... but any way because of tour I'll be off line most of next week.
I was rather disappointed in this weeks chapter of one piece, it was all spreads of fight scenes so not that entertaining but oh well.... At least Ace is still alive, thank god. His life gets one of my co-actors to give me food. So live Ace live!!!!!!!
I saw the best movie ever tonight. It is a Japanese film about a all male Synchronized Swimming team called Water Boys. It was too funny and really bad which made it funnier. The actual synchro was some of the worst I've ever seen and they practiced out of the water incorrectly (Which shouldn't bug me but does because I'm a synchronized swimmer myself), there was some romance and drama and other fun stuff. But even with all that it was a really fun movie so go watch it!!!!
I'm going to Athens Greece at the end of the summer so if anyones been and has ideas for what to check out let me know!

Okay Hello ya'll!!!!!! So yesterday I went to this pottercast/wizard rock/anti ministry of magic and iran protest/concert!!!!!!! It was actually really fun. Basically my crazy Potter Head friend calls me and asks if I want to go to a concert. I say yeah sure who's playing. And she doesn't say but tells me to wear a Green T-Shirt..... I do and we leave for the concert. We get their around three and the concert is supposed to start at four but it actually started at five... so we walked around for a while. During this time I found out what the concert was for. So around five all these random peeps in green shirts started showing up and then so did the musicians. The two bands that played were The Remus Lupins and The Womping Willows. It was great fun and we rocked out in front of the capital and we had signs and we marched and yeah it was cool!! I also got a cool T-shirt which was very exciting!!!! So yes it was lots of fun!!!!

Okay what else........ I saw Star Trek Like a week ago.... IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! I want to see it again. If you're lame and haven't seen it yet go see it it's worth the ten bucks!!!!!

For those of you who don't know Veggies Tales are bible stories told by singing Vegetables so I started watching them and it was like OME I forgot how funny these things were. Seriously I was laughing the whole time, partly because I finally got all the references and partly because they have that timeless stupid humor that I just love!!! They are seriously cute and if you've never experienced the magic of silly song time with larry then your missing out!!!!!! Go watch it seriously.
Can any one tell me who Adam Lambert is dating? I've come up with two names but I'm not sure which one is right, If some one could tell me I would be a very happy fangirl indeed.
Speaking of being a happy fangirl last week I got Anthony Rapp's autograph!!!!! I GOT ANTHONY RAPP'S AUTOGRAPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for those of you who don't know who he is go watch RENT, he plays Mark and I love him.... we are ignoring the fact he's like 39..... any way I got his autograph and am very very very happy!!!!
Did any one else watch the Tonys? I loved the performance by Next to Normal that song was soooooo cool!!!!!!! And many kudos to Billy Elliot for winning like every thing. It's an amazing show with completely fabulous music!!! I also loved the opening with all the different performances very cool. And thank god Sherk didn't win anything that show looked so bad!!!!!!!
Has any one else seen Bleach the Musical. Did any one else think it was just about the worst thing they've ever seen? Cuz i sure did!!!!

Ummmmmm i know i posted almost a month ago but i have no idea when i'll post again. I didn't get much of a response on FF so I was rather disheartened. Also I've been d atnton ragged (willing i'll admit) into a number of other projects that some how seem to need lots of attention. i also may have previously mentioned the possibility of a lemon scene, have decided against this for two reasons
one my parents having been watching my online stuff so i don't feel comfortable posting it
two i read the lemon fcs written by stark-black and the likes making me feel unworthy to even try...
i will try to work on GB soon and get it posted!!

k so listen I'm trying really hard to work on GB (really I am!! :cries: ) but it's hard cuz i have a ton of things going on in my life like evil >:) teachers, directors, and swim coaches who talk to much. yea i bought so much stuff my parent's are so not happy w/ me but who cares!!!!!!!
here's how my day went:
Get up and start running around franticly trying to get into costume/ eat breakfast. Then GrapeExplosion came over and we waited for Flying_Glove and KrazyKhaosKat to show up. We left for Baltimore at like nine-ish and as soon as we got there it was time to shop!/beat up GrapeExplosion and Flying_Glove/ do whatever KrazyKhaosKat wanted me to do. (Our group was the all female Straw Hats KrazyKhaosKat was Nami, Flying_Glove was Ace, GrapeExplosion was Luffy and I was Sanji) Grape got the most abuse cuz she tripped Kat so I had to kill her it was very SUPA!!!! Other hilights of the trip included me jumping to get Pocky that was hanging on a string, and Kat and Grape knocking over Kat's glass of sprite.... twice so smart i know. any way it kicked ass so woot!!!
Oh yea and did I mention Memories updated with LEMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Truly a awesome weekend!
