Being sick is definitly not a great feeling, especially when it keeps you up all night and you have to sleep in a sitting position to not drown in vomit...WOO-HOO! And a diet of crackers, pepto, and flu medicine isn't tasty after the first day :/

Now that angst is out, I really need to post up some artwork that i've done in the past months. I've drawn stuff but never really scanned any of it...I'm just lazy that way I'm working on one of my friend's b-day gift with a dragon crushing drunk guys, a really buff, almost naked version of him, and a half-naked big breasted woman And it all has to be detailed and drawn in an American Cartoon style (like Marvel!) But anywho...I'm currently working a paper mache saber tooth tiger mask and our homecoming backdrop which is due next SATURDAY Me and my two besties are going to be working on it tomorrow since we are going to be super anal about it. It's Gotham City and My gal pal, Leah, doesn't want kindergarten buildings. My guy pal, Seth, doesn't want it crappy because he's getting a pic with his girlfriend (who me and Leah get to finally meet!). And I'm....I'm always anal about things We got everything ready which was two HUGE foam boards, 4 things of cardboard, a gallon of black paint, a quart of white paint, a t square, and a sponge. It took all 100 dollars and I was broke for the rest of today... I also have a date for homecoming but i'm not uber excited about it because....I don't care if i have a date or not. I'm going to have fun either way!

But anyways...I might be a member of a band! They are called Selinger after a super awesome ex.reading teacher. Go check them out on MySpace because they are pretty rad. The only problem for myself is that I am the newest, 'youngest' member. When I say (type...) 'youngest'...I mean I have the least amount of experience then most of them on bass guitar (not even a year!). I mean I can play fairly advanced bass lines with no problems at all (heck smooth criminal took less than a day, and hysteria by muse took a couple days when I focused)....I just can't make me own music! Oh well...this is when I break out my hard-working attitude to the table! What does help me immensely is that I play 3 instruments; flute, bass guitar, and guitar.

On another note I already feel the strain of school work on me. Trying to keep your rank as 2nd in class is nearly impossible when you are taking too many classes and too many activities...but I love my classes

So 'tis the life of a lazy, procrastinator artist....

On a fun note, I'm doing three projects at one time I'm doing a design for Skullcandy's headphone contest, Fanny Pac, and another oil painting of spring flowers for my 'aunt'. She's super awesome so I don't mind. I'm just super slow with paintings

Since I've been off, I've been searching for a summer job and I won't start looking again till I'm seventeen. I've been rejected by Buckle, Hollister, a grocery store, and our pharmacy...kinda sucks but I don't mind. I'll try again later because I knew I wowed the manager from Hollister but I knew that my age was going to kill me. Oh well I've got to sketch out more of the flower painting so peace!

I really got to ink some drawings and color them...and I really do not enjoy inking D: It's just nerve wreaking! I don't have fancy-smancy photoshop or open canvas to edit my mistakes but mistakes make us human....(but mistakes still suck)

Besides my continuous rambling, I am drawing my first motorcycle! It's one of Gin's vehicles and I decided to go with a Honda Shadow....originally I thought about a Harley but those don't have a very long life (they sound sexy though!). All of her weapons have been sketched with her and I did some research to make sure that Revolt Essence (her biggun' blade) makes sense since its her parents main weapons combined. I can't have a rocket launcher with a military sword from the 1900's (Gin was born in the 1600's).

Well...until the sharpie high goes away...I no longer have anything to say...

After I go attend our schools black-light dance...I can sleep, eat, draw, and play games all I want for the next three weeks! I earned it too with all of the crammed in work from school too (and the late nights). My giant-ass painting is done (minus the whole drying part) and I can focus on my Video Game character fashion sheets and my comic! Woot-woot!

I finally saw the 'epic' Twilight movie and it was pretty good. I love Charlie when he cocks the shotty XD

.......Now I'm off to do some dishes!

I really hate critical literary analysis papers...they can go and die somewhere seriously. It would be easier if it was on a book we personally liked, but no. We have to do it on the Lord of the Flies (I like it but not that much). I was sketching the second page of my comic and I'm really scared of it...i'm super ceral. I had a male character skin mostly stripped off to show muscles and bone and...ooze? It's supposed to be scary so whatever...

Except without the fluffy sideburns (mutton chops?) and mask XD

The first 3 panels of the first page of my comic is DONE! I was going to use crayons to use as a substitute screen tone...but after seeing how my advertisement got hacked up by the copier...it's no longer in use. More traditional art should be posted soon like a betik (sp?) of Chris Brown. Currently, I'm working on a 32x40 painting of Paramore that's been edited on Photoshop. Then I'm doing the rest of the Avenged Sevenfold band with Zacky Vengence up (pencil shading).

I just found out that Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Buck Cherry, and Saving Abel are coming near by me....and I died inside. I wanted to go so badly to their concert, but I thought the only one left was in Tennessee The one chance I can give Synyster Gates my drawing of himself...gone

I can't wait for school to go out for break since I'm slowly dying go me! Just plain exhausted from school and everything else. I got to practice my IMEA orchestra auditions and practice pep band music on my bass...and finish my cross hatch drawing. That drawing I'm really procrastinating on. Now I know what art medium I'm terrible at....it's paints. I just suck at them D:

Other than my nerve-wreaking worries, I have a tribute to Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold. It's a crosshatch that is really amazing for my standards even with some minor mistakes (borderline smile, hat shadow, and hand size). My only concern is how am I going to send a copy to him. I can't use myspace since the messages are answered by others. If you have any ideas, please tell me! I have nothing but respect for his wicked guitar skills and tattoos (I drew his ENTIRE tattoos on his ARMS!). Really hard to do tattoos with small amount of references (either to small or distorted by light).

EDIT!: Everyone is back to normal, and even the one who had heart problems (not heart attack...just irregular heartbeats) came to tonight's homecoming! Despite my rather lacking dance skills, I still had a lot of fun!

Now off to work on Synyster Gates!
