-This happened on Friday, October 3, 2008

After attending an appointment with my mom and grandparents, we headed back to drop off my mom at home. It was a good day, and I was in a completely good mood. I drove down till I hit the stop light on Sierra and Lundy and there was a construction worker measuring the height of each of those red and white poles that stop you from going when a train is about to pass. I'm not sure what ever all called. I believe it took well over five minutes for him to finish and let the traffic continue. I drove towards the four way stop sign and slowed to a stop as I was about to make a right turn. There was alot of incoming traffic, and my head was turned to the left to may sure everything was clear, so I waited till the next car passed by and I was about to put my foot on the gas as I was still looking left.

A really hard force was struck from behind me, my first instict was only to have me hit the breaks so I don't hit any oncoming or parked cars. My head jerked back towards the front of the car, gripped my hands on the wheel and I felt my neck twist a bit, strained from the sudden movement. I remember hearing my grandmother yell out and my grandfather took hold of the handle of the door as his other hand gripped his cane for support. Good thing it was only short lived, the car was forcibly pushed forward a couple feet towards the open right lane.
I sat there for about a minute feeling a little bit of a panick attack and I glance at both of my grandparents and asked if they were alright. Relieved, no injuries were made, and my fingers were stumbling around to find the switch for the emergency lights. I was shaking and I got out of the car as the other driver got out as well.

I noticed she was about my age, if not, older. I believe she was Latina, her hair was tied up in a bun, her eyebrows plucked thinly and sharp, and had heavy make-up on her face. She had a worried feature when she looked at me. "Are you okay?" she asks. I told her we were fine and asked if she was alright. She nodded and I smiled at her. She apologized continuosly and I waved her off, I was just whole heartedly glad that no one was hurt. I glanced at the bumper and was amazed that only a few scratches were made as to her front bumper as well, it was a pretty heavy impact too.

My grandmother got out of the car and took a look at the bumper, the lady ask me if we wanted to exchange insurances for the damages that was made to the car. My grandma brushed it off because she just wanted to go home, and said it was okay since it was just a scratch. I saw the relief wash over the girl's face and asked us a couple more times if it was okay. I told her not to worry as long as we were all in one piece. I smiled and kept reassuring her it was fine.

We eventually got back in our cars and drove off to our separate destinations. Still a little shaky, I drove more cautiously home and got home safely.

That girl is lucky that I'm a nice person!!!!!!

Lately, I've been bumping into alot of my old friends from way back. It just gets me so excited to see them. It just brings back alot of memories. I saw a couple people from my YFC group. Oh, and if you don't know what that is, it's a Youth For Christ group where people, in their teen years, ages ranging from 12 - 21, gather to a place and talk about chapters in the Bible in ways to keep it interesting and fun. Usually have a certain game to go along with it and everyone has to play. For example, if the talk is about Trust, then you do a game about trust.

I remember one night at a park, where everyone had to be blindfolded and had someone take you by the hand and guide you even though you can't see. It was completely dark. You had to trust that person no matter what obsticle you were facing, they won't let you get hurt. We were climbing on top of the benches and tables and even on the playground. Since I was blind, I couldn't tell exactly where. At the end of the game we had to climb on top of something high (which I believe was a picnic table) and have our back to the edge. The person leading you would say "Do you trust me?" so you would respond either way. I, on the other hand was a nervous wreck and was becoming a bit scared.

Being blind for almost an hour, and only hearing whispers and the shuffling of other people's foot steps about you. I remember feeling the heels of my feet at the edge and having the person say again, "Do you trust in me?" With a quick nod and a yes was heard from my lips. I exhald as they told me to relax, stand still and straight. A slight push and I fell backwards. I felt like I was floating. Feeling the icy cold wind rush through my hair and body, I suddenly felt dozens of hands underneath me within a couple seconds. Getting back on my feet, I take off the blind fold and my eyes adjusted to the light outside. My heart was racing. Beating a million times more than it was before. It struck me how quickly I understood the concept of this game. You should always put full faith and trust in God no matter what you are going through. He will lead you through it and guide you.

So that was that. That is something that I will never forget as a first hands-on experience at YFC. Especially going to all those camps. I remember going to Aptos, Washington, Nevada, Canada, there was one in the Philippines, and umm a whole bunch of other cities in California. They have a world wide gathering once a year for all Catholics. You get to meet new people and visit new places. So awesome! It gets me in such a hyped up mood, it makes me want to jump up and sing!

(Sorry Oli, I HAD to write about today. )Then today, I finally got to talk to my loooong time friend Oliver! Woot! I haven't seen the guy since we were in 8th grade. I was like a school girl running around the house and was talking non-stop. It really made my day. We were really close friends back in middle school. You know, those days were you don't have to worry about bills or money because you're parents took care of all that. We didn't have a care in the world, except for our grades in school. We'd go to each other's houses and kick it. At school, we even had our own groupie. There was of course Oliver, Me, Uyen, Kathleen, Loan, Thuy, Marissa, Eileen, Tina, and a whole bunch of other people!

I vividly remember inviting Uyen, Oliver and Tina to our (and when I say our, I mean Eileen and me) birthday in 8th grade. I believe I still have those pictures somewhere in my room. We had spagetti that day and Eileen and I were wearing matching tops. I believe it was Tommy Hilfigure. We all went to golfland and played one or two rounds. I'm not sure, but I think somebody got the last hole and won a free game. I also remember another time when Oliver and Eileen had to do a skit for their English class and we were recording it in the backyard of our house. Oliver was video taping while I was in the skit along with Eileen. Now, there's this one part of the skit that I'll never forget either. It was the part where Eileen had to pretend to slap me while I moved my head in the same direction of her hand. To make it seem more believable, Oliver clapped his hands to make it sound like Eileen's hand connected with my cheek. After showing the skit to their class, I recall Eileen and Oliver telling me how everyone thought she slapped me for real. Man, good stuff. I wonder what happened to that tape...

But sadly, how time flies by and those moments you spend with people you care about only becomes a memory. Makes me want to turn back time and relive those good days. I miss all my old friends!!!!

I made a sculpture of my boyfriend. Hopefully I'll "try" to take a really good picture of it. I made it a couple months ago. I love sculpting clay. The one I used dries up so I don't have to put it in the oven to harden.

Oh, I'm thinking about making Plushies. Sounds good? Anyways, my drawings are lagging. I do have alot but I'm sooooooooooo lazy to update. I'm soo sorry guys. I just have alot of things going on right now. But hopefully, I will scan some more drawings later on. Just not now. Thank you!!

P.S. If by any chance that anyone can give me hints and tips on how to make Plushies/dolls eye's, the body, etc. please feel free to comment because, of course, I am a noob.

Ohh, well, uhmm... Well, to answer that, I was arguing with my boyfriend today. It didn't end too well. All stupid childish stuff. Nonsense stuff, sort of. Arguements tend to get too far though and some people may not even realize the things that they say about the other person can be hurtful to them. That's how I felt.
My heart ache from his words. Calling me with such disgraceful words. Pointing out my bad points. Never considering my own feelings. TT_TT
