I'm happy to say that I'm back in Utah, and have been for about 10, or so days, and the weather is still hot, but it's dry heat to say the least. Plus, I have mountains again. ^.^

Following my renewed anime addiction, I've taken another step into the world of Japan....with DDR. That game is too addictive.... *.*

I did work on some poems while I was having a rather slow break, but they're not finished, so I can't post them yet. Lately, my "artistic talents" have been wasted on coloring pages from Sailor Moon, and Fairy coloring books.

I wish my life was more interesting, so I'd have more to write in here. I'm fine with it for now though...I'm sure thing will get more interesting as school shall be starting this week, and well, not only am I taking German, but I've decided to go back to trying to learn Japanese. I took a year in high school, but hated the teaching methods for it (video learning program). I learned how to say suitcase, but God forbid they teach us how to say something like "How are you doing today?" -.-

Dinosaur Valley Park was awesome as usual.

My niece was my shadow most of Saturday, as we went running around Glen Rose to get food. Then, we got to go swimming in the Paluxy River, which is where some of the Dinosaur tracks are. The only reason it's Dinosaur Valley park, is because there are 3 areas where you can go view actual dinosaur tracks...all fossilized and stuff. Then we had a nice barbeque. I do so love barbeques, I think I gained a few pounds Saturday...and Sunday, since that's when we had my family reunion, and lunch is always a buffet of yummyness. Sunday was fun too, we ate (the buffet of yummyness), and then went swimming....of course before the eating, there was packing up camp, which sucked in 102 degree weather. And the adults had to pack up and watch the 70 billion children that were present. They outnumbered us....it wasn't fair.

All in all, it was a good trip. I did get sunburned even though I lathered myself in sunblock as much as I could....but no bug bites...which is a record for me.

I saw 2 armadillos, a lizard in the middle of camoflaguing itself...raccoons attacked our loaf of bread, and the little dog that belongs to my niece, chased off a rabbit. There were Cardinals everywhere too. And Butterflies! Ah, wildlife is awesome

I'm editing this one, mainly because my lovely friend Paige, has just gotten her very own dA page! Today I got my first real sunburn of the year....stupid Utah heat...it makes me hate going back to Texas for the summer (since it's hotter, and humid there) ....but it's only a couple of months...so I'm sure I can survive.

I know I'm in Utah of all places, but when it snows, it's gone the next day...and it rains...and it's getting warmer...

But Spring does have it's upsides...the scenery changes, I love to look at all the flowers...and it is the season of love. HA.

I know I'm too old for "imaginary friends" but I feel that snow would be the perfect one... here's why.

1. Snow can pull me out of the worst moods, even when my best of friends can't.
2. It's like my stuffed animals, you can talk to it, and feel relieved to get certain burdens off your chest.
3. It makes the world stand still...or can fill it full of life. It silences activities when people go inside to avoid the cold, or it brings everyone outside to play in it..
4. My world outside these walls becomes sparkling white. Snow makes things beautiful...in my opinion at least.
5. Normally if it's snowing, it's cold...so it's good when it comes around so I can feel physically numb when I need to.
6. It's frozen purification...
