had won the avi contest for this round. Next avi contest will last till the end of this year and probably be run 2 times a year from here on out.

Next order of business:

We need more works, again I'm grateful for all those who have the patience to actually get things done here, and I've been on a small hiatus trying to get things in my personal life organized, but not letting the world know anything past. So let's get out there and get some works of literature out there!

Alright guys, I think :deveyepril: had a great idea. We need an avitar, and considering that I really don't have a good idea for one, and that it would be a great event to get all our members together for something, how about you guys try to make an avi? So sorry for not updating as often as we should. School is driving me nuts with all the books and other stuff I have to read, ~angeljunkie prolly still has pc problems, and ~TomRocket seems to be busy as well. So if you don't get replies to your notes and/or see your recently submitted works on the page, that doesn't mean we abandoned you Rest assured that we will attend to your messages and submissions as soon as we can.

Hopefully, we'll be able to check the page for submissions, notes, comments, or what-have-yous more frequently (soon, dear Lord, please).

On a much, much lighter and happier note: Reading most (as I haven't read everything yet) of your works has quite inspired me to take a pen and write again. So thank you

Okay I apologize for my much absence at the moment. I know that I am trying to change what the old club had ended up doing and it seems like I'm doing a poor job at it, don't be afraid to note my actual person and be like, "YO! DUDE!! Sent note, didn't get posted, what up man?" Trust me, I will take no offense to it and try to get to it as soon as I can.
I also note that, well...my gaming habits have taken me over as well...so yeah I do check da so be sure to stab me if you need anything. Fork, knive, sword, don't matter what you use, anything that draws blood should be fine. Thank you again to everyone who has been putting forth every effort, as well as I also am trying to read everything you guys have written, though I admit, I don't have the patience to read that much. So sorry if it's taking me a while.
Again thanks for all your help and keep up everything, let's try and get this place even bigger then it's predecessor.

Come and lend me your ears, my fellow comrades. For just a few moments, let us band together for a common goal! *cough* Okay I'll stop with the medieval banter, but in all seriousness we need to get all the writers we can, and all the works we can into this place. Now I know from experience, that poetry is easier to read and comment on, while prose needs the most work. So we all need to pitch in and find a way to make everyone welcome, as well as welcome more others. So if you know any of your fellow poets and novelists, ask them to join. If you run into someone random that does this, ask them to join. If you find an artist who thinks they can draw, but doesn't write, well dont' ask them to join, but let them know they are welcome to fav the place and comment on the place. Heck, if we get enough of them we'll even create a secondary, "comment" group. Well thank you for your time.
