About the rp idea, I have had a couple of people express an interest, so now I want to ask what format would be best for everyone? I could set up a mesage board, or we could do it via livejournal, or pbem.

Well, as you can see, there are a lot of new additions to the club! (welcome again you guys! ) so before you all lose interest… why don’t we have a contest? A nice fun HOLIDAY contest! I’m starting it so early so you don’t all go find something better to do and then have this sprung on you, I find that’s usually the reason I don’t enter contests myself. The RULES are simple: draw any Valdemar character/s you want to, and have them celebrating the winter/holiday season however you want! It can be any holiday or winter activity, just have fun with it! (Remembah, sometimes the best art comes from relaxing & having fun instead of trying to make it perfect. :wink: ..especially when there’s a deadline ) And if you want, you can draw your original Valdemar characters as well. -^_^- (I was going to split it into two contests.. but who knows how many people are going to participate ) you’ll get points for being creative with your idea, as well as points for skill & effort! So if you feel you are lacking in one area, don’t let that stop you from entering, you can always make up for it in another! X3
The DEADLINE is midnight of December 25th! But if you want to enter, don’t forget about it! If you don’t have time now, just keep it in mind & do it when you are lacking in ideas for something to draw. ^__~ The PRIZE, (just one..) as of now, is your choice of any paperback Misty book you want. I know, it’s not great, but I am a starving college student. If you have any suggestions for a better prize for this contest, or a prize for the future, please tell me; I’ll definitely keep it in mind!
To ENTER, just send a note with a link to your picture, and ‘contest’ in the subject line. You can add a description too, if you wish.
Remember to have fun you guys! You can enter any little sketch you come out with, (let’s say… 3 pictures a person for the contest, but if you draw more, you can submit them to the club gallery, or ask me to put them in the journal as unofficial entries or something ) I have no idea how many people will enter, so every entry counts. ^o^
(Oh yes, and any rating is accepted! Except the stuff even DA won’t let you submit, of course, let’s not get in trouble.. )
