01. What is your pen name?
Well.. My DA name is Crow-of-the-Abyss.. soo that?

02. What made you choose this name?
LOOONG AGO... IN A DISTANT PAST! *cue Samurai Jack intro music*

03. Do you use PC or Mac?
I'd sooner use a Mac for body-armor than for any other function.

04. What programs do you use most often?
Paint.

05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
I'm no good with digital art. I like the ol' analogs.

06. What color or color combination's do you find yourself using most often?
I'm aesthetically retarded soo.. Hideously bright colors! (I.e.: Blue and Orange) But I do prefer grayscale.

07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
Mostly the actual concept behind the drawing. Sure something I draw can look pretty but I want it to have a bit of depth or story behind it.

08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
Since I'm not a REAL artist. 30 minutes +

09. Do you keep your rough drafts?
Ayup. I've still got most of my stuff drawn in Jr. High.

10. What font do you use most often?
Showcard Gothic. Reminds me of the good ol' text you'd see on buildings in the 1920's

11. When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?
300 I suppose.

12. Do you do anything else when you're drawing?
Music and talkin' to folks on the interwobz.

13. Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?
Not a whole lot. 5 if I'm lucky?

14. What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
Printer/copier paper. It's a nice and white.

15. What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?
8 1/2 by 11 inches

16. How long does it take you to ink something?
I try to avoid inking things when I can, mostly because I wind up screwing up in some way or another.

17. Do you do comics, or fan comics?
I would REALLY like to do comics. I have a few different story ideas for comics but no drive to draw them because of my lack of.. you know.. Artistic talent.

18. Do you like comics? Are they fun to make?
I enjoy reading comics. >.>

Nope!

Staples like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gurren Lagann, Tokyo Majin. As for Manga.. Phantom, Flame of Recca aaand.. Hell. I don't remember.

Pearls Before Swine, Dilbert, Charlie Brown (because he's more pathetic and lonely than I am ), Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tailspin, Chip'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Futurama, X-men Evolution, Mighty Ducks aaand.. Anything with Deadpool or Wolverine.

I find myself to be reading more and more as time goes on. I'm on my 5th or 6th read-through of Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. ._.

Nope, I'm too stubborn to learn from a book on how to draw. I need someone sitting there smacking me with a ruler.

Of course with the onset of the rest of my life, my mother is trying to push me in the direction of getting my license. Fine, I'll get my permit after all this time but thinking about actually driving really does get me fearful and anxious. I'm honestly afraid of driving, period. So I've been very reluctant all this time.

I recently went on a game beating binge and nearly finished KH2. Completed everything in .Hack//G.U. volume one (and I absolutley loathe Gaspard. >.< and finding my self liking Piros the Third more and more), and finished normal mode in Shadow of the Colossus. The final colossus took me forever because I kept falling off of his hands and having to get allll the way back up there and then it took me ages to see where I needed to strike so I could get closer to the symbol on his head.

Ahm.. Voltaire is my current musical obsession. It all started when I heard "When You're Evil".. It's just so damned catchy and gives a more playful or upbeat side to being sinister. Aaaand I downloaded all 4 seasons of "Batman: The animated Series". Just as good as I remember, I just love the film noir feel with 1920's archistecture and style mixed with the detective/Dick Tracy feel and all the crazy, obviously evil Villains (a metaphor on how obvious corruption was then). Good stuff.

I'm also very excited for Iron Man and The Dark Knight that will be coming to theatres soon. Tony Stark is the only hard-drinking, haunted, womanizing jackass that seems to have been made into an actually likable character. Then for The Dark Knight, two words, The Joker. 'Nuff said.

Though the real reason I'm excited is Friday. I (hopefully) will get to see Bailey for the first time in what will be 3 weeks very shortly. Oh how I've missed seeing her >.< but her family and her have been sick and they just recently got better. Soo.. I can't wait. The anticipation makes the monotony of my school week bearable.

This Friday, like every-other friday, was awesome mostly because I got to spend time with Bailey. Though this friday we visited our friend Josh Farlane(sp?), who graduated with Bailey, out in Southbridge and we hung out in his grandparents store which is called "The Hospital Spa" which is right across from Harrington on that little street corner. It's a really nice place, It's alittle old and beaten up on the inside and out but, thats one of its charms. Josh's grandmother is really nice and a very interesting lady to talk with. It was good to see Josh again too because it was almost like old times back in the Glass Hall in the highschool! We bought some Slush Puppies, I got a blue raspberry and Bailey got the Cherry. She ended up not finishing it so I drank that too. I really hate how with certain slushies, you can never seem to finish them because the slush never seems to want to go up the straw, ya know? Anways! After Josh got off of work, we all hopped in Baileys car again and picked up his fiance and then hung out infront of his house until his mother got home. We talked about various things and at some point josh and I got some broom handles and started sword-fighting with them. I got backed up into a corner and couldnt block the final swing and he nailed me in the shin. (By the way, his yard is incredibly small! >.< But, I have strong shins so it really didnt hurt.

Once we got back home, we watched some videos on youtube and then made some burgers for ourselves to eat. We ended up having to put them back on because they didnt cook all the way. WHile we ate, we watched the remake of The Pink panther. It was a great movie <3 So Yuri the trainer that trains... you wouldnt happen to have a pair of high heels in that bag would you? I never understood why alot of the critics hated it... I mean, its not as good as the original but even then you really cant compare the two. It's basically stand alone and, Steve Martins french accent is supposed to be terrible. It's a movie that's making fun of itself, ya know? We started to watch the movie The Dead Zone but then we found out Christopher Walken was the main character and we stopped mostly because his voice is soo freaky >.<

MY mom didnt end up coming until 10:30, she got alittle too caught up at her little tupperware party with her friends.

So far, I'm tired as hell. Mrs. Bullock and Mr.Flynn already have us working our asses off in computer tech and we've been there for three days. On Wednesday I had to go back and forth between computer tech, the tech room where Mr. Errede and Mrs. Hackenson are and down to the janitors and then back up to Electrical several times. Then Mr. Flynn is having Gregor, Tray-bitch and I work on some computers for Mr.Errede where we have to get the printers all networked. Thought I was done when I did it but it turns out I have to do all the work I did on Administrator for the Student account. *sigh*
Despite being worked ragged we had some time to make up a few more jokes, because we got a bunch of Mac's that were just sitting around in the school. They're heavy as fuck, I dont care what anybody says. They're better off as paper-weights. Hell, They could probably be strapped to you and used as bulletproof armor.

Sorry, but we get REALLLLY bored in computer tech when we dont make fun of Joe Rogers.

Lunch is a total drag. Its just not the same as it was last year. This year it's gonna suck because I always have to have 1st lunch and whatever friends I do have in my lunch now all sit at different tables or sit up in CAD or the library and I'm not gonna go table hopping just to talk to them for a minute before I head off to another table plus I've got some friends who just sit up in CAD now, eating their goddamn Ramen. Plus, the table I do sit at has Will Proper at it >.< *sigh*

Algebra II is a decent class but Dr.Escobar must want to kill us with homework of something because she gave us homework all three days, first was a section of reading, the next was like 40 different problems and now I need to do a whole worksheet and like 20 prob lems in the book. Plus! I had a quiz on thursday. I mean.. Crap! @_@ One good part about is is that my friend Steve is there with me, sitting in the back. Though I need to pay attention because he and I are the only ones that answer the teachers questions and he's already volunteered me once. >.> I guess that means a serious lack of drawing this year.

Literature of the Fantastic is the one class a day that I actually look forward to. I have Mr. Nemeika and he's awesome, and a few of my friends are in that class but we sit at the other end of the room, except for Emma... I sit behind her. We started reading the book Ender's Game and well.. I've already finished all 300 something pages of it. It was a great book but really depressing.

The worst part of this year so far is how little interaction I've got with my friends. =/ Before A block we see eachother for like 4 minutes and then head off somewhere else for the next like.. 5-10 and then the next time I see any of them long enough to say more than "Hello" or wave is at the end of the day before we head to our busses.

God, then I have to submit my senior photo and think of a quote, pay my class dues, get a job, start applying for colleges, get my license, take the Sat's. Such a mess. I dont have any drive for it either.

It was great because it kinda involved the computer geek/hacker subculture in it because it was about some disgruntled computer programmer that worked for the government who was bitter about having his ideas shot down so he decides to basically turn the US into a sitting duck, and then have everybody pay him to have power and etc etc. Needless to say, Mclane is back on the Job, and now totally bald XD One character, "Warlock", the super hacker I felt was misrepresented! He looked like your atypical super nerd, a beard, living in his moms basement, in a plaid robe, and being really touchy about strange people touching his things. Only thing he was missing was crumbs in his beard, and cheetoh dust on his fingers. I demand a correction of this error! *hops up on soap box*

Then that same week Bailey insisted that I watch the rest of the die-hards, which I had no objection too because they were awesome, so we watched Die hard 2: Die Harder, and Die Hard 3: Die hard with a vegeance. Samuel L Jackson was great in the third one XD

At some point last week I decided I would find and Download the song "Start Wearing Purple" by Gogol Bordello aaand I've been hooked ever since XD but it kinda freaked Bailey out when I had her listen to it. Which just makes me enjoy it more

I have also determined that it would make my life if, when bruce willis, the quote "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker." will be on his tombstone.

Then I also see the movie "Serenity" for the first time on Saturday Last week, which is this whole sci-fi deal based off of a tv show called "Firefly". It was a good actioney movie with a main character that was very Han solo-ish. Even for not knowing the background of the movie it was good on its own. Specially the gun specialist on board the ship serenity. Who's told repeatedly not to take his grenades and which he childishly responds "Aww!" (despite being this rough and tumble type character). This takes place a few hundred years after we have to ditch earth because, guess what?, we trashed it beyond livable means, so we terraformed this one system of planets fairly similar to our own. Things go fine in this system until the outer ring of planets refuse to join in the alliance and basically a civil war erupts amongst the humans and the outer ring planets lose because they're weaker, desert type worlds. Things are still abit uneasy and then these monsters they call "reavers" show up and start wrecking up the joint. all in all its some government conspiracy because one planet was said to have failed to terraform when it really didnt, this was called Miranda. So, the government put this chemical in with the air distributors, which was supposed to calm the population and repress aggression... it worked, its only failure? It worked too wel. People eventually stopped caring, stopped working, stopped eating, stopped talking and eventually just stopped living. but.. 1/10 of the population reacted violently to this chemical and opposite to what it was supposed to do. This changed the humans into the Reavers, psychotic, pitiless monsters who mutilate themselves and any humans they come into contact with. Whatever humans they catch, they torture, rape and then eat. Etc etc.. dont feel like giving away too much, but theres a black samurai like dude.

Ah, Nothin' beats a space Western.
Also made 20 bucks on saturday too. This leads me to sunday.

Sunday we, as in Bailey, her parents and I, saw Transformers. It was.. just.. Amazing. I felt like a wide eyed kid again watching the original 80's transformers cartoon again in awe. Lots and Lots of work went into that movie and it all payed off. Everything was beautiful and nothing was ever boring, things were funny and.. Oh man, the fighting scenese were amazing and I got to see my favorite american fighter/bomber in action.. the A-10 thunderbolt with its Gau-8 showering Scorponok with 50 calibur high explosive bullets. To seeing Megatron and Optimus duking it out in the streets while the autobots and decepticons battled elsewhere in the city tearing things up as they go.

Megatron flys up to the top of one of the buildings with the autobot Jazz within his clutches, transforms back into his robot form with jazz in both hands.

Ah, its a name I've used countless times for what seems like 7 years now. Just something I thought about for awhile and then came up with when I was in a different part of my life where I tried to be cynical all the time and tried to be anti-social to shut myself off from people so I wouldnt have to deal with them because of all of the sorts of bullying I recieved in Elementary school. But the truth is, as a person, I just care too much about everything. And yet, the name stuck. So here we are today.. still sounds cool.

A friend told me about it and I joined because I had art and maybe, unrealistically, that a bunch of people could notice and appreciate my work.

Nothing much has been happening since you last heard my rantings from atop my soapbox. Like one friday Alex (the infamous tray bitch) and I looked up alot of russian world war II weaponry as well as looking up the difference between chainguns and gattling-guns. So, The Mosin Nagant, a russian bolt action rifle served 107 years in service (1891-1998) and so many were produced that you can buy one now a days for about $75, if it's a sniper variant (a nifty little scope on top) that'll set-cha back like $500, those're rare. Then lets see, theres the PPSH and Ak-47,74. then we discovered the German Mauser C96 is the basis for the blaster pistols in starwars. M2 Browning's are fuckin' amazing! they're still in common combat usage (they were first put into action in '39), .50 Caliber rounds, fires like 2000+ rounds a minute and has an effective range of half a mile but has a range of over a mile and you can actually fit a scope on it and increase its effective range by basically turning it into a sniping machine-gun. Then we started delving into aircraft weaponry... the Gau-8/A Avenger a chaingun mounted in the nose of the A-10 Thunderbolt light bomber. Fires between 4000 and 6000 rounds a minute, and it only fires .50 caliber Armor Peircing Incendiaries or .50 Caliber High explosive shells. Too bad it got replaced by the friggen Vulcan which is, in my opinion, nowhere near as good as the Avenger. Also, its firing assembly (not the barrels) is as large as a VW bug and and the length of the entire thing is about two vw bugs long.

Went to Baileys house the same friday that happened and we had fun... I can't remember for the life of me what we even did o.O I think we watched Shagakun no Shana(sp) aaand then I found a notebook I had given her of stuff tos can from like, the past two years with some of my most favorite drawings in them (which a bunch of them are gonna be ones I'm gonna upload at some point) then on Sunday, it was mothers day. So my famiyl really doesnt do anything for Mothers day, never have either. So today I went to Baileys to 1. Help her get a mothers day present for her mom ie: flowers from Stop n Shop and sweets from the sturbridge bread company. then to 2. Do my bi-weekly job with her in cleaning the house for 10 bucks an hour. I planned on saving it for me field trip!

So yeah, on wednesday May 16th.. my Thesis paper on Harry S. Trumans firing of MacArthur during the Korean War was due (which i had done Monday and then rewrote my thesis paragraphs for it on tuesday. Let's just say, MacA thought he was a living god. The 70 Year-old Brass-hat five-star Prima Donna general wanted to drop not one but 26 nukes on North Korea, China and the USSR. The asshole wanted to have us engage in another world war, one the likes of which that nobody could win. Plus, he kept issuing ultimatums and Threats to the chinese press/gov't because he wanted newly communist china to get involved on a much larger scale than they already were in the Korean War. Actually, he wanted to drag the fighting over into chinese territory, against Trumans and Washingtons desires for a limited war. Either way, I glad that's over.


Now comes the best parts of the week thus far, Thursday, the first of two field-trips in a row. Our trip started slow, but traffic was thin and we traveled down into RI and then Back up into MA to Fall Rivers. We traveled down Purgatory (road that is, but hush), the longest straight stretch of highway I've ever seen. Then we came across this enormus bridge and found that we were greeted by the good U.S.S Massachusettes. At first, I was really worried that it was going to be a dissapointing trip because my friend Adam L. told me that some people he knew said it was an awful place. Lets just say, boy were they fuckin' wrong. So first, everybody then chose a group to be in and then we were given this scavenger hunt worksheet where those who first got everything correct would win free USSM hats. So Alex, Noobson, Gardener, and I started on it almost as soon as we could but.. almost immediatley, we realized this place was too cool to bother with a stupid worksheet. There were five vessels. The Battleship, U.S.S. Massachussetes, The Destroyer, U.S.S. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., The Submarine, U.S.S. Lionfish, Some random PT boat and finally... The Russian Missle Corvette, the Hidensee. What I’m trying to get at is.. there are standards for treating, and actions towards people are universal no matter where you are, and what realm you are in, there is no excuse for acting like a brain-dead monkey with a deep hatred for society. Actions have consequences and it irks me to see assholes acting like they are god, whilst being obnoxious retards who just wont take the thumb out of their ass when they are around people. I can honestly say those type of people ruin games, and online communities just because of their belligerence and the commotion they cause to get rises out of people because they don’t care and that its just a game so whatever they do has no bearing on anything.

They ought to be taken out into the shed and shot like the dogs they really are.
Guys/gals like that really get under my skin and…. Just.. well.. that’s all for my Rant. Something I really wanted to express to you folks.

I thought it wouldn't be bad to be back in school again, infact I hoped for it to come again.. I was really getting bored of having nothing better to do with my time during the summer. Now I get to go to the government funded cement prison everyday! Sounds bad, right? Well... normally friends would make it all better but.. something just feels wrong this year everybody seems to be broken apart, the ties that once held us have now weakened, and Im trying to pull it all back together.. At lunch I have it with a bunch of my friends and Im always going back and forth between two or three tables and I just can't seem to find a place in either of them, I feel like an interloper. Not to mention I have nothing at all to look forward to during the day, sure my A block and B block classes are pretty nifty and then computer tech at the end of the day but school really just isnt the same without me having someone to wait for in the mornings, and to sit by them and talk with, and to wait for between classes, and walk them to their next class, and have lunch with, and ward off the every creepy max, and to show drawings off to, and to praise theirs.
Thats not all I miss, I miss the large group that used to gather in the hallway and all the good times we'd have laughing and messing around, and the big mass we used to gather infront of the door to computer tech at A block, the spot I would have at lunch. The Time in the library, and.. well there's just too much.

Why does life have to be such a cruel and tumultuous sea?

So, the summer is beginning to draw to a close. It's been another practically wasted summer for me, Hell I'm lucky if I was even at home for half of the summer since I've been at two of my five best friends' new ginormus home, Dane and Ian. Oh the adventures we had! Tyler even came over for a week, and It was quite a reunion, Ty and I threw a wild dance party to the Aquabats in their kitchen, and then reprimanded once marilyn came home because we wasn't sposed to be fiddling 'round In the closet with the controls for the CD player and the like, because we forgot to flip one switch. Then Tyler carved me a new, totally fsking awesome stick from some green wood. It's just like my old one, only about 2 feet longer, lighter and more snap to it. Now I'd like to see people take me on with that bruiser. (with my old one that was soon shattered to peices by Steven, the father, just so he could give a few peices to their dogs because they looked cute with it.) Then when Ian went with his mother to Rhode Island, Dane and I went to Newbury street in Boston while his grandmother and mother had hair and facial appointments. We also ate at a snooty french type cafe, so expensive with such small portions X_x. Then! on our way down the street by our lonesome, we were approached by a young asian man clad all in blue, with his multi-cultured and politically correct buddies. He said, with the largest smile on his face one could ever imagine "Hi, do you guys have a few moments for the democratic party?!" before dane could even finish his polite refusal, I bust out with "We're Republican!" and walked off with him proudly. I swear, I could just hear that poor man's face crack from facial whiplash, but he was asking for it. Newbury comics was pretty cool but nothing special there, then we trekked on down to the Virgin Record store and explored nearly every inch of the story, almost none of the stuff there was any good or anything I was looking for. Before we left, we decided to buy some sort of movie or something, so I found the anime section and picked out Serial Experiments Lain Vol.1 after about 45 minutes of fingering through the cases. While I was looking I espied something that said "the House of Morecock", I could only imagine, and dane noticed it to and we took a look.. o.O you cannot imagine what the cover was like, and it disturbed me so much I let out a yelp and quickly shoved it back in the shelf. Then looking through other movies on our way to the register we noticed that all the movies were mixed in so there were even some softcore porn/ full on porno movies in with all the regular stuff, that came as a huge surprise. o.O' Then we went on our way down the street to meet back up with Grandma and Marilyn. Before we left the city we went to this high class store that caters to the old rich looking people, ie. "oh can I get you a glass of water?" Dane and I were bored out of our skulls until we saw this one big empty window, with nothing in it, so our instincts taking over, we began to act like manequins and wave to people and doing other weird things, and we could be convincing ones too because her hardly moved except for when we changed postions. Hell we were this close to going to jail for killing cops due to laughter based symptoms. So there our day was done. There was also alot of us playing diablo 2, too much happened for me to even bother to recall, not that you folks would care, but all you need to know is that my Amazon, BIG-Calamity is now level 94!
Oh! we also played alot of Dynasty warriors 5, Darkwatch and Battlefront 2. We practically have a nickname for every character in the game. Like Stationary man, Comrade Caboose and Freight Train(double act), Gramps, Arudiak, Petals, Guany, Tubby, and too many others that I care to recall. Oh! and I still suck at Battlefront 2, so much so that Im pretty much still at where I started in the metal gaining.
The books for summer reading were atrocious beyond all reason. Nickel and Dimed was the most pretentious and retarded concept I have ever heard of and have had the displeasure of reading only half of. It's about a woman who is of the upper middle class, who dares venture out into the lower middle class, the workhorse of our society to see what its like, when most of those who are reading this book in our school are in the class she is exploring so we already know much of their plight, and anger, so this is nothing new. Atleast to me it isnt, because i've grown up where my sister has told me stories of her jobs at truckstops and restaurants. So this is nothing new, and the foot notes contain the most inane and useless information, that it even doesnt have a place in my vault. Plus the size and ammount of these footnotes are also something to be scoffed at. Things arent the same without the seniors there, things just seem empty, and I expect those who I know personally to show up. I wait patiently for them, hoping they will show up, but still feel dissapointed when they arent there. It may have only been a day and a half since I last saw the seniors I knew but it feels like an eternity. The day passed slowly and I feel lost, routine has been broken and I dont see as many of the familiar faces anymore.

I get way too attached to the routine and familiar, and to people in general.

I was so glad to have Bailey back in school today, since I really missed her. Thats right.. you all make poor substitute for her! Especially you! *Points to a random person* She took my Ds being getting broken much better than expected, I was afraid she was going to angry, though I shouldnt just assume things.. -_-' I tend to get surprised alot that way.

Lately i have had no inspiration to draw anything, no weapons, no funky designs.. nothing! Im actually finding myself paying attention in class against my will. It's irking greatly because I havent had a block like this for a really long time and I hate not being able to draw anything. *smashes some random and conveniently breakable object* GAH! Although I have no inspiration for art.. I have had a story idea lingering around in the back of my mind for awhile, though i bet its been done before soo many times in some shape or form. In some Far off land, there was a war raging between two kingdoms, and every battle that was faught ended in bloody stalemate after bloody stalemate. Now one kingdom decides to dabble in some forbidden magic to create great warriors, now this land is rife with magic and monsters and legendary weapons and stories and myths of heros and many other things. Now many things were attempted by this kingdom to give them the upperhand, but each attempt ended in excruciating failure. (there may be some plot holes which will have to be filled up eventually.) So Yadda yadda yadda and boom! we have 30-40 special warriors, created from forbidden magic who weild weapons of devastating power. Soon this war comes to an end, thanks to those warriors, the lapdogs, the killing machines of this maniacle empire. Once these automatons outlived their usefullness, they were stripped of their weapons and locked away in a dungeons prison cells like captives and hostages. They were left there to rot for many years, of which seemed like forever, these 'creatures' began to think, and develop personalities, and soon came to mimic the creatures they were modeled after. (yadda yadda yadda.. they escape somehow, or atleast a chunk of them do, some still remain loyal to the masters that locked them up, and some of which went insane and such as particularly violent ones were isolated into single cells.) So we focus in upon this one particular of these creatures, and he winds up in a far off region, and he was still infantile in nature, cold and callous(like a blank slate), but at the same time full of wide eyed wonder at the world around him and the strange actions of the people around him. Many in the village shyed away from him, as he didnt do much but wander about watching silently and seemingly scaring off others, until one day, a young girl was suddenly attracted to him, and wouldnt leave him alone, relentless in her attempts at getting him to speak to her and perhaps play. He cracked, but after several long weeks, and a makeshift relationship formed, she was a child with flowers and toys on the brain. SHe began to bring him things and talk with him and ask him things, like a typical child, and even tried to teach him games and other things, but for the longest time he wasnt very good and had the hardest time grasping things. Now their relationship had lasted for many years, he eventually developed into what we can call a person. Now, this young man never showed any signs of physical aging, and many questioned this and also shunned him for it, and he never understood why he would remain the same while those he had came to know grew taller and larger, and wearier as time passed, their minds following in step. Over a long time, this human like creature fell in love with this girl when she wasnt so much a girl as she was a woman, whilst the world continued on without them. After many happy and wonderful years together, she soon becomes weak, and passes on, leaving him devastated. For years he did nothing but mourn and curse at world for its cruelty in stealing his love away as the world crumbled and decayed around him into a state of total war. (things happens.. yadda yadda) He soon pulls himself from the state and pledges to stop this war. (thats all ive got so far and ive got something extra) "Someday I want to die, but i want to die happy, and the only way i can be happy is to destroy the *name* Empire and Im willing to sacrifice everything... because ive got nothing to lose" He said with eyes full of sorrow and a heavy weight resting upon his shoulders like the earth upon Atlas.

Sunday: A day with Asshat
Today was the day i spent with Alex, we played a whole bunch of Halo1 and I brought along my PS2 and mp3 player. His house is really nice, new and its tucked away off the main road. He lives on a farmish area, and the interior of the house is cluttered with John Deere paraphanalia, among other nice things. I also did not know alex had a younger brother, also named john. Alex has 2 dogs and 3 cats, of which, I only know the names of the dogs, Zuna (this very large dog, and she is easy to startle, so you have to take it slowly when your petting her) and Mocha ( a small and loveable husky dog). The cats really didnt bother us much over the course of the day. FIRST STOP! Alexs room, It was pretty nice, but it looked abit empty because there wasnt a rug on the floor and there was alot of extra floor space, but the stuff he had was really neat, like the Prison sign he had on the back of his door, which was authentic, and to proove it.. there were two bullet holes through it. He also has all sorts of old and neat legos that havent been in production for a long time, god.. I miss legos, they are sooo fun to play with. ^^ He also has the Millenium Falcon! That thing is much larger and more complex than i thought it was, and damn near impossible to build. Next stop, Johns room, it was a room that every kid dreamed of as a child with toys everywhere, and a nifty bed with themed sheets and matching comforter and pillows, and many other things. Now we went down stairs and fired up the good ol X-box and popped in halo. There wasnt much to say except we did two levels on legendary( the silent cartographer and one with the flood). Then at one point we went to single player and played on this very annoying map with many.. many teleporters, and all we had were plasma pistols and unlimited plasma grenades, 45 minutes and 27 frags later, we were all haloed out. It was about dinner time and we had lasagna, while alex and john(who dislike lasagna with a passion) had hamburgers. It was a good dinner, and after I called me my to let her know i was to be picked up for 9 and then we hooked up the playstation2 and popped in DMC3, although, we had to get John to leave as he was 6 and couldnt watch the violence, but he simply refused to leave. He left, eventually after much coercion from his mom and alex. Needless to say, it had to be done and he should ahve been happy to spend the whole afternoon with us and know when it was his place to leave. So Dmc3 simply enough to make him consider getting a refurbished ps2. XDD I HAVE CONVERTED HIM! *maniacle laughter and thunder booms* YEs.. i have that way with people. It would be funny if there were a blooper reel, because there are sooo many things dante could have screwed up on in the mission 1 cutscene. XD Like when he stomps down on the back end of the pool table and knocks the balls forward, just imagine, one of the balls hitting him in the abck of the head and knocking him over, or the whole entire table flipping onto him. Plus, its just hilarious to watch dante get shot in the head. My Night came to a close with thoughts of her, and it was a good and fun day..

Ive been doing some thinking since my last journal entry about a number of things.

Existance, how can we prove it? Heres my theory.. we simply exist because of one another and the objects around us. Objects simply prove we exist and prove themselves, A chair exists because of a ball, and a ball exists because of a person.. and the person exists because of that mere existance of the chair. Deny the Existance of the Chair, and the person still continues to exist. Because the Human also confirms the existance of the ball and the ball confirms itself. So for one to deny the existance of something wont have any effect because many many other things still cause it to exist, now we have all people who "exist" to deny the existance of everyone and everything, all would cease. I know its a rather strange thought but..its my head! Whaddya expect?! *waggles finger*

Now! Ive also thought of why people think in terms of grey. They are simply indecisive and do not break the situation down to its very core, and analyze each detail. For example, even though revenge is bad, its a good example. Many simply stop at "Is killing for revenge right?" not many decide the circumstances on which it happened. Was the person a malicious person, and did they kill your family, or devastate you to the point of no return? Or was it something petty where even any revenge is useless? Now If they did Kill your family is it because they were evil, or was it something out of their hands(like if they were forced to) Now if they were forced, youd have to consider were the intentions... and so forth. So Grey is not a mixed thing... it is the lack of analysis.. because there are many ways to make Black and White.

Now that ive bored you.... *drum roll* ITS TIME TO BORE YOU OUT OF YOUR SKULL! WAI!~

So anyways! Now we have existance and thought out of the way... Ive just been thinking about lots of random stuff.

Love is a strange thing, none can truly define it, it is different for everybody but still the same general concept. Its a very deep and complex devotion to try and put it simply. I remember that I had never given the concept so much as a glance back in the days of 8th grade where nothing could get better, and good times were as far as the eye could see. Then its just happened one day, I saw her, walking in the hallway to some other class and I just stopped dead and my heart skipped a beat, i was struck with awe by her beauty, and some other strange feeling that washed over me. Everyday, everywhere I went, I continued to see more and more of her around, but I was always too shy to actually go and talk to her on my own accord. So for several months i just merely caught glances at her whenever i could, and watched her from afar. Just as lady luck happened to glance my way, and my friend Alex was walking my way, and they stopped infront of me and he introduced us. This was naught but alittle over a year ago, but it has felt like forever since then. Like we've known one another all of our lives. Even after meeting her, I was reluctant to go and talk to her again, but I sucked up my courage and just began talking about that. Just bringing back these memories makes me feel strange, some indescribeable feeling just welling up in my chest. I mean.. countless times have i wanted to tell her in person how i feel, but never.. ever have I been able to utter those words. Only online and in the literary world, but even then i never gave a chance for response. Needless to say she makes me feel whole, the emptyness that was once there seems to be filled so effortlessly.
I can go on with this for awhile if you like..
Just being with her brings me joy, but it stings when she ignores me, but I know full well how things work. I would go to the end and back if it meant being by her side. I would take on the savage demons in the abaddon of hell and the angels so high up in heaven. Maybe Im just an idealistc fool thats been blinded by devotion, but I dont care as long as I believe in the cause I fight for with everything ive got! Theres so much more I could say, but not enough room to say it. Simply put.. I Love Her.

This is one of those nights where i cant sleep because Im thinking so much.. and there are feelings tossing and frothing about.

Today was the day of the big Halo 2 Tourney at school. You couldnt turn a corner without hearing someone talk about Halo, be it their exploits or the mere mention of the tournement. Combatants of all shape size, make and model filed into the library and pay their dues to enter the competition of skill. To the top 3 victors go the spoils in strange little plastic cards which seem to work the same way as money. We filed into the Auditorium and each took a seat. The din of the crowd was great but the authority of the commentator demanded silence.
The start of the tournement began, it was Midboss, Corey, The Lumbering behemoth,and a rather shocked me. The map was picked and all began normally, but soon I ended up being marooned with two things to my name, an smg and a few frag grenades. The other combatants were passing around the shotgun, rocket launcher and sword as ususal, and I took whatever kills i could get. I Ranked 3rd in the entire match and was eliminated. Then after 15 minutes, the format of it changed and everybody was allowed to start anew. I was greatly relieved and watched the first match as it ended in almost an instant. Now it was the skipping spartans turn to dispense justice. Justice i did indeed spread! with 5 kills! Thank god Joe sponsored the return of the skipping spartan. Now Bailey was lucky enough to get one kill off on me in a moment of confusion as my guns were jammed and before I knew it.. a grenade had rolled between my feet, and it was too late to act, We were both fragged. The second round came all too quickly as Bailey and I, enemies no more enjoyed a breif soda and icecream treat down by the Nadatorium and the Weight room. THE SKIPPING SPARTAN FELL! It was inevitable.. they were just too much, or maybe.. He was unprepared. Not too soon after, Donn and Yonn fell, Midboss was just too much. In the end, the behemoth won out with his sheer power.
Next year I will be ready.. next time it might be a team tourney. The skipping spartan works much better with teams.
I helped escort Bailey from the building to her mothers car, accompanied by Alex bringing up the rear. Off she was to the Mall to prepare for an up and coming plushie contest.

So Me and Alex went back and Played some Hogness ( only given plasma pistols on coagulation, and there are 4 people and 4 warthogs and the whole object is to ram the snot out of the other players while not getting killed) I would have won, but Dane and Ian had to leave. We then Finished up Our stay in the auditorium with a system linked CTF on burial mounds. it was Blue 2, red 0. It was a slaughter. The skipping spartan failed again! But no matter.

After pelting Plue with many snowballs and rolling amongst the fluffy white substance, To the bus I went and whats great is that Tyler, Brian, Tim, Joe and Plue were there, 3 towns had to shove their kids on one bus. Im glad ty was able to give me a ride home because we didnt get to the Pizza place in holland until atleast 5:45.

February 14, 2006: Valentines Day.. Whoop de freaking do..

Many people are bitter about this day, many people love the day, Im one of the few who teeter precariously in the middle. The only reason I can actually say I like Valentines day is because it gives me an excuse to have made a card for Bailey, which I did! It was made right before I went to bed the night before. So The cheesy card was finished and I was excited to give it to her, but also unsure of what her reaction to the card would be so I was rather hestiant in giving it to her. I had even planned to make a mad dash for the door in the cafeteria once handing it over. But alack! my feet were foolishly glued to the floor!
So yes! anyways I also dislike Valentines Day because of its now overly commercialized atmosphere, and for the fact that I don not believe in Romanticism. Now Im not saying Valentines Day cant be special, it just cant be special for me because essentially the whole day revolves around it.

I feel that being "romantic" its a waste of time, effort, and a simple excuse. Why should you choose one special day, of all days, to show someone that you love them when each passing day your with them, and each subsequent thing proove your love. Some Gaudy jewelry, Flashy display, or fancy words should not be shoved in place of love and all in the end have the same simple meaning "I love you" wether its a genuine feeling is up to the person who is brave enough to dare utter those words. Either you love the person always, or never, not on just one day. Also, why go out of your way to go to a beach simply so one can walk on it? what is so special about that? Its one thing to do it when your actually at the beach for swimming or barbequing purposes, when you can walk with them to the snack bar, or to the table, or just simply take a walk up and down the beach.
