Just spent the last couple hours fighting with my Journal CSS. The result: a little bit of color. =___= I really am technologically impaired.

And it is acceptable for 'well meaning' if slightly over-zealous fans to tell me that:

- Something is mentally wrong with me for disliking the book/pairing/movie etc;

- I am rude, stupid, and lacking of a life;

- And that I am obviously a b***h for even daring to have such an opinion.

Excuse me, but...

I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER commented on an artistic piece featuring something I didn't like and been so blatantly rude! I look at such things, sigh, (or laugh) and get on with my life. WE are all allowed different opinions! I LIKE hearing said opinions.

But only if they are phrased with good humor, clean language, and respect!

I sold all my figures, all the pins (and some extra)....

And then had 60 of my 80 dollars stolen.

But my sister bought a great big stuffed Kyo pillow to make me feel better. And my art DID sell. It's not like I had to bring it home.

This year I was Gau from FFVI and only 3 people knew who I was >.<

Next year I'd like to go as Howl from Howl's Moving Castle. I'm planning on making his jewelery (and Calcifer) soon just because I want to. (after I make a Terra figure )

we weren't out of the season!! thursday was our absolute LAST chance. if we won, good. if we lost, bad.

it was really sunny so my one coach bought eyeblack. we were so ready.

WE ARE GOING TO THE PROVINCIALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm deaf from the bus ride home but WE DID IT!!!

WE WON!!!

Bucket was crying she was so happy, and we were all hugging each other for probably 15 minutes and the only reason we stopped was because you can't stand on the bus.

i'm especially happy for Bucket because she's in grade 12 and this is the first time in 8 years our school's sr. girls team has made it to provincials.

i was helping out a grade 2 teacher and her class...

and they did an "activity corner" thing

i did a drawing station.

so i taught some of the kids how to draw:
1. a bunny
2. a sunflower
3. and a cat

at the end, one came up to me and gave me the picture she had finished drawing, and she even signed it.

it was so cute!

the others were all begging me to teach them more things but we ran out of time.

i think i was one kick short of a bad concussion. as things stand i only had a mild one...well that's what my friend and the boys coach said. they checked to see if i was okay after the game. but i had a huge lump and headaches for a couple days and Bucket said that's a good indication of a mild concussion.

she got one too...

and we both play lock...

today was the first day i had enough energy to write a journal...

but i'm getting a headache again...

it's been a week since my lovely victory...

it's really quite funny. when i got to school i didn't say anything about my gold medal unless i was asked. but for some reason, ALL THE TEACHERS KNEW....

and they ALL knew that i won without giving up a point....

i found out that my coach was bragging for me.
...and Pretzel, and Dame and Bucket
(they're my wrestling buddies' nicknames)

it was pretty cool...

life is ALMOST perfect...

last night i went to the weigh-in for the provincials, there are certain weight classes etc.

it said that the heaviest weight class was 75+ kilograms. last year it was 90+

so i thought, "great! i'll wrestle more people!"

i got excited and nervous and ready....

but when i got there today, they'd changed it back to the heaviest being 90+

needless to say there aren't many people my weight....

SO.....

I DIDN"T GET TO WRESTLE AT THE ZONE MEET!!!!

THE ONLY OTHER STUPID PERSON IN MY WEIGHT CLASS DIDN'T SHOW!!!!!!!

i get to go to provincials now BUT WHO CARES????!!!

I WANTED TO WRESTLE!!!! I NEEDED THE PRACTICE!!!!
