Hope everyone's having a good day so far and enjoying their families...Okay I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of making this pretty. I honestly do not like Thanksgiving. I don't like the food collection, I don't like being with my family. Maybe a select few I enjoy being around, but not all of them you know?

So yeah, I have had a lack of art posted obviously however I have been drawing as much as I can. I just haven't really had the motivation to post anything. To be honest it's sort of because the lack of comments I've been trying to fix up my style and anatomy and I hope I've made some good improvement. Plus, a school art project has been sucking up my time and it still isn't done. =/ It was going to be my Halloween holiday picture, but it wasn't finished in time obviously, but I will have one for Christmas! I'm watching Bolt at the moment and for those of you who haven't seen it, don't read further. Anyway, I'm watching it and you know the part where Bolt goes to jump over traffic cones/construction? And he fails. My thing is, if the producers/directors of the show in the movie (conufusing I know) weren't allowed to show the dog that it was all fake, how is it that he was able to jump over the helicoptor in the begining? They shouldn't have been able to touch him at all, you know? Plus the helicoptor is over a huge gap. So physically, if they cannot touch Bolt, Bolt is capable of jumping that.

I don't know. It always kinda bothered me lol. It's a good movie, don't get me wrong, but some of the stuff doesn't go together. Then again it's Disney. And it's a kid movie too so they wouldn't really notice.

Now I wanna draw Bolt. He's so cute, I'd love to have a dog like him. Yup.

I know that people redraw their characters in different pictures and such, but I feel that no matter what the idea is for one of my drawings I feel like I've done it before. Or it's already been done. You know?

I'm attempting to try new poses and create new characters, but I always hit a wall when it comes to that kind of thing. Maybe it's a type of artblock, idk. Anyway, school's been keeping me busy lately plus other things, but I should have some new things posted soon.

I got my dry prints back so I'll upload them. My best one won't be uploaded though cuz it was matted(?) and will be in the art show. So yeah, that's it.

AMAZING!!!!!!

OMG the movie was incredible and I just love it to freakin' death. I can't even describe it. I walked out of that theater with the most amazing adrenaline rush in my entire life and I miss it. =/ It went away sadly.

And I'm having a freakin' awesome day. My friend Kels made a cake for me that was scrumptious. ^3^ And from lunch on to the end of the school day was awesome and I have a lot of energy. Unfortunately I can't concentrate it into drawing.

But I'm really excited for the weekend and seeing Paranormal Activity!! I'm ready to be scared out of my skin. To quote the song This is Halloween: "Life's no fun without a good scare!"

I mean seriously. You're life must be seriously boring if you don't get hard core scared, you know what I mean?

But yeah, I'm 18!!!! Totally a legal adult! Unfortunately I'm able to get arrested if I do something really serious. Damn Going to the football game! It's my old school versus the school I'm currently in. I find that completely hilarious and really cool. I'm going to catch up with old friends and chill (almost literally) with others from my current school.

I'm really bored right now and want to work on sketches. Unfortunately I have homework to do still. D= School is like seriously taking away from sketch time. So are my workouts for track. Then there's P-block and hanging out with friends. I'm definitely getting involved for my senior year. Another friend of mine had actually asked me to join the debate team. Not going to happen. Even if I love a good arguement.

But yeah, I'm doing my best on the sketches I owe, so those waiting on them. I'm sorry! I do have basic sketches, but I want to redo them. Actually one is turning out really well that I'm going to color digitally. I won't tell which one though. Maybe I'll do them all.

OH and those that are curious about the boy I met. I'm hoping that we can get him to go to the next revive Sunday night. and I'll be going away for the weekend with a friend and her family. Busy busy busy. Again I'll do my best with the sketches.

But anyway, had fun at Revive and was a little...disturbed, I guess would be the right word. I can't think of a better one, but I swear that some people were having sex on the dancefloor. No lie! Grinding I don't mind, but if a guy props a girl up against the wall (inflatable wall kind of thing) and starts humping her ass like crazy or even having her riding him. Seriously, go home and do it there.

Now, today I went to church with my friend and they had a type of picnic which is kind of a celebration with starting off the new year of their children's church. It was a lot of fun and I met a boy. Yes I do have a slight crush, but don't make a big deal out of it. kay? So yeah I had a lot of fun hanging out with him and some other peoples on the moonbounce.

So currently I'm watching Hellsing and re-establishing my love of Crispen Freeman. He's an amazing VA that many know and love. He's been known as Alucard (Hellsing), Jeremiah (Code Geass), Hagi (Blood+), and so on and so forth. Anyway, I'm kind of practicing accents using Hellsing since there are both english accents and german accents. German accents I'm kind of okay on. XD At least pertaining to Schrondinger of Hellsing.

Yup. Oh and I'm trying to get my sketches done that I owe. Okay? So people who are expecting a sketch from me, be patient. School's a pain.

Now he asked me how it felt to be single in my senior year. I answered honestly and said that it felt no different then when I was in a relationship. He said "Thanks, now I feel like I was just an accessory." He asked the question and I answered it. What the hell? He got irritated with me and went quiet on the phone. That's an obvious sign he was annoyed.

Anyway, I felt that our relationship was mature enough to discuss a feeling that had come over me when I was with another friend of mine. Now realize, I have no idea how to flirt. Believe it or not. But with this other friend who is a guy, the feeling of wanting to flirt slammed into me and I was overwhelmed by it. I didn't act on it. I know that the wound is still fresh between my ex and I, but I felt that with us being decently mature, he would not get angry with this. He didn't react harshly or curse me out, but he did say he really didn't care, whatever makes me happy. Usually I wouldn't get annoyed about those words, but I did because of the tone he spoke it in. The tone was obviously of jealousy, disdain, and anger.

I don't know, I probably won't mention anything relating in the near future to him. I'm just annoyed by the fact that he would ask me about being single and react negatively to my answer. So, yeah whatever. I'm going to try to just push it out of my mind and brush it off. Some of you will probably think that I'm being cold about his feelings, I'm really not. I'm just blunt about what bothers me and what I think about it.

I had a great time while I was away. My aunt has like eight cats and they are very interesting. xD

First up is Alex. He is 18 years old and is a big baby. lol. I drew a picture of him so I'll be posting that when I get home. (In a hotel currently)

Spencer - Close to 18. His fur is rather matted and he's a mess, but he's a sweet cat.

Kitty- I wish I had gotten a picture of Kitty. She was petite and her paws were so cute like little circles and a cute round face.

Sis- Had the most beautiful cat eyes. Like a teal color no lie. She was picky about who petted her though. She liked belly rubs

Oscar - Orange ball of skiddish fur. His eyes were always huge like he was gonna pounce on something. He hid a lot but starting takinga liking to me (who wouldn't right? jk)

BJ - Fat white cat!! Little brat too. Carry his little toy thing around crying and my aunt would pick him up like a baby and he'd stop

Mooch - Always hid, can't really say much

Gracie - Sweetest kitty ever. I lurved her. lol

That's everyone. I wish I had pictures to show of all of them. =/ Sorry peeps.

Anyway, I spent time with my family for the week and today we went to hershey park. =3 Went on rollercoasters and rides and all that fun stuff. We got out of there before it started raining and now my parents, sister and I are in a hotel. We'll be back home tomorrow and I'll be updating with some drawings. (Finally right?)

Anyway, possibly going to the fair tonight with my bf and hopefully some other peeps. 8D I haven't seen many people over the course of the summer so it will be nice to hang out with more people. I say possibly cuz it's raining. It's still early to tell, but it doesn't really look like it'll clear up. Who knows, right?

Just to let some of you know, I will be going away this upcoming week to a relative's house. I will be taking my laptop and art stuff with me so I'll hopefully get some art done. =3= If not digitally than traditionally.

Oh yeah! I'm giving the digital medium another try. Be proud. Although at the moment Elements is retarded so it'll be a while. That's about it.

I'm feeling much better than I was with my other journal and will work on more pictures for everyone to see.

If everyone would be willing to donate $5 or $10, less or more it would add up and I would have enough money to pay for his eye surgery. Please help Moogle as he deserves a chance, he has a very hard life living on the streets. Moogle is one of the homeless cats that I am caring for. He is currently still living on the streets and I am trying everyday to earn his trust and feed him so that I can take him to the vet to get him neutered and vacicnated but I cannot adopt him and am hoping to find someone who can or at least take him to let him live in a feral cat colony cared for by humans.

I am doing everything I can for them. the only ting I don't think I can do is pay for Moogle's eye surgery which I know he needs to have that eye removed . It's going to cost me probably close to $300 - $500 to have it removed.

I know I am running out of time because Moogle needs this eye surgery and he may die. Bijou my indoor white cat has surgery on the 20th of this month to remove two teeth and her appointment will have cost me close to $700 total with her last appointment and this one coming up so I am struggling at the moment. I just paid in full a an almost $4,000 emergency bill to the hospital due to pregnancy complications and I am not on insurance.

I’m trying not to take on more then I can handle however I cannot just simply walk away turning my back on these cats even with a baby on the way. Please consider donating a little money to help Moogle with his eye. If everyone pays it forward it will add up and I’m sure with faith that there will be enough to help his eye. Thank you kindly. I'm not even in the mood to draw a picture to celebrate reaching 5,000. You think I would be dispite of the fact no one caught it. I was also annoyed about something else that happened last night. Let's just say I went out with a friend of mine and I was rather disappointed. We had very little fun besides the car ride to the mall and getting a set of earings.

We got up at like 3a.m. to go see the pony swim and get good seats. It was a lot of fun, I was able to come up with new picture ideas too (which I will try to upload soon).

As I said in my previous journal I'm close to 5,000 pageviews. I feel so proud. So yeah, catch it and you get a drawing from me. It will be my best (if the first sketch isn't I'll do it over and over till it is ) And yeah...

I looked over prices and got a suggestion from a friend so check out the prices for changes.

I know I wrote a journal about doing requests a while back. Now I feel that I can probably take on requests and commissions! That and I think it will also help me with my art style. Anyone agree?

Anyway, I'll do up to two requests at a time. (I figure that would be a good idea for a beginer in the business ) And commissions for now will be one at a time. Payments can be sent in the mail and here's the price list. Just to let those interested know, I am only strong with animal art, I am not that great at drawing human type art.

Sketch commision - $2.00 (ex. [link] )

Colored (lineless [without inked outlines]) - $3.00 (Don't have an example yet, but I will)

Colored and outlined - $5.00 (ex. [link])

Anything on photoshop - $6-8.00 depending whether it's with or without a background(ex [link] )

I don't feel I have a very good program (Photoshop Elements 7.0) to do really good computer designed pictures. I can do basic colors, but nothing really extreme. So that's it I think. If there are any questions feel free to ask. =3 OH and just note me if you have a request/commission.

I was watching the Bill Cosby Himself DVD with one of my friends and she's like "it'll be a sad day when he [Bill] dies." I was just kind of thinking about it. Some of the funniest movies have come from many comedians. Witless Protection with Larry the Cable Guy, any of Sandler's movies, and etc. Random thoughts for today. xD

I was looking at my stats and I was going through and my most commented picture had only 6 comments which includes my responses to comments left. I mean wtf? Granted my art isn't as amazing as my friend but it's not that bad. I've improved so much since the first picture I posted on DA. Only people who've watched me draw in RL comment on my deviations and they've seen them be sketched out and all that shit.

Come on people. I would like comments and critiques from others especially here on DA. My average page view per day over the course of 23 days (yes I averaged out the days in my stats) was 7. Only 7!! I might be blowing my own horn, but my art is better than seven pageviews for crying out loud. It think those stats included journals too and I know for a fact that maybe one person out of my watchers reads those, sometimes no one does. (granted a lot of people don't read them period, but some actually do)

I don't know, I guess I'm a little artisticly frustrated because my art isn't exactly getting responses I'd like them to get. I'll be uploading more art soon and might actually color a few pieces. (Which btw I'm not good at doing)

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm obsessed with books and most of my friends can say that I always have a book in my hand. If I don't, I'm usually pining for a new book or doodling in my sketchbook. It's not that I feel books are terrible, but sometime I don't feel better after reading a good story.

With any book or movie a person feels inspired to do something amazing as they follow main characters through their adventures. The Dark Hunters of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books, the kids in the Dragons in Our Midst series, Alice of Alice In Wonderland, and even Bella from Twilight for crying out loud! I sometimes feel so depressed when I think about what fictional characters can do. Some never age, have special powers, shapeshift, even be a normal person and do something incredible.

I just wish I could do something great for once. Now, people will probably say "You will do something great, but maybe not until your future." That definition of something great in that sentence is discovering the cure for cancer. Yes that would be doing something great, I'll agree, but that's not what I want. I want to go on an adventure, discover something incredibly impressive about myself, do the impossible.

DAMMIT! It's not fair. Why can't I do something like characters from the Night World Series? Discover that I'm a lost witch or something. I don't know and I don't care! I just want some type of adventure...anything. My god...

I really hope that no one tells me to make something happen. I do understand that might actually make something happen, but...it won't be what I truly want.

The Project:

A stylized self-portrait drawn on vellum board. The student is responsible for creating a completed drawing/collage/painting by the final exam date. It will incorporate two different visual concepts, stylized drawing and the use of conceptual space. The artist must work within several parameters.

1. The picture must be a self portait
2. THe picture may not contain a full picture of the student. Partial photgraph and drawing are acceptable. The image must be stylezed.
3. A simple collage is unacceptable.
4. The project may include poetry and/or lyrics.

So, I'm not sure what to do for mine. I can't really draw people and I'd rather not cut up photos. =/ Pretty much we have to draw stuff that represents us. Uhm...does anyone know where I can kind of find a good example of something like this. Doesn't have to bee in the exact parameters, but something similar?

Anyway, I came up with a couple of ideas and my teacher even said to just make a collage of my drawings but they're all too big fit on the piece of vellum board. It's really thin (width wise) and none of my stuff will fit. Why would I want to cut up my artwork in the first place too?

If anyone has any suggestions as to what to draw, what to do, or even just ideas for it that would be very appreciated.

Now I've beaten Persona 3 before and all that, but when it comes to the decision of killing Ryoji since he's the Appriser for the maternal being. I've alway let him live so I can explore Tartarus and gain levels and all that stuff.

My question: If I kill Ryoji, what will happen?

Besides the fact that the characters forget about the Dark Hour, Personas, and all of those other memories involving that. I mean, what the heck do you do? o.o Still build up relationships?

Anyone care to supply me with an answer, it would be greatly appreciated. ^_^ I might just kill Ryoji to find out myself, but a little warning about what would happen would be a good heads up. I'm pretty sure the game doesn't just end though.

I am dead tired though! x.x I actually danced for most of the night surprisingly to many songs and I could not keep still. Most likely due to the fact it was a full moon last night. o.o I always get a little weird around a full moon. (Don't ask why, I don't even know myself).

Anyway, I went with a few of my friends and we pretty much have a blast. Unfortunately we were having too much fun last night and we forgot to take pictures. Whoops! ^_^; But a few people I know got some quick pictures with me in them, so there are a few pictures of me in actual makeup with my hair styled. I know, it's like "Holy shit! Ashlynn wore makeup!" :die:

Anyway, at the end of the whole thing there's a tanker relay. Wich is a 4x100. Four runners each running a quarter of the track. So, we had two teams up and ready to run. It's hard to explain the feeling I got, but it was kinda like adrenaline only to a point where I coudln't really form a full sentence in my head. Well, I'm the second leg of the running on A-team and when my friend was coming toward me I started running, but had to slow a little. According to some, as soon as I got the baton I took off like a freakin' bullet. One said that "at one point you were hear, then you were down there" and another one was like "I've never seen you run so fast."

After that it was kind of blur with a lot of cheering, yelling and screaming of "Go! Go! Go!" My head felt light too. So, race over, results in, everyone's excited etc...

A-team got second place!!! I was like o.0 No way!! Now most of us throwers don't really run. Okay, that's a lie, I was really the only one who didn't run on the A-team. x3 But yeah I'm so happy. I got my first medal ever in any event!!! Hopefully I'll eventually get more in Jav and shot. =3

That's probably the longest entry I've ever written. o.o Thank you to those who like reading about my excitement. ^_^
