...Since I made a journal entry.

First off, summer was great, got a summer job, made alot of cash, made some new friends, got myself photoshop CS4 and I got to see my friends at graduation, hopefully it's not for the last time with alot of them. Began college, not that great, but I need it if I'm ever going to go somewhere...

Deleted a lot of my drawings, they're no good to me anymore. I promise to deliver quality drawings from now on, Ps will definatley make a great asset in the colorization of things. That and I've began a little fresh as of tonight. Consider this to be a bit of a rebirth of myself as a Deviant.

Hope you guys had a great Halloween, I spent most of the day working on Photoshop to prepare for tonight, but it was nice wearing my pinhead mask again. Hope it fits next year...

Okay guys, I know it's been a while since I posted a journal entry, so here I go on a few topics...

School: It's been good so far. Am taking a two period class at the local college for Grpahic Communications. Also am learning about economics and am apart of my school news paper as a staff writer. I intend to sign up for a couple of after shcool activities soon and once I do I will also try to make time for my job, no I don't have one at the moment, but as soon as I gte it figure dout I will try to apply for one. I plan on working at the local movie theater.

Books: My uncle lended me two new books last week, they are Syrup by Maxx Barry and The Snake. Haven't read the Snake yet but Syrup is a pretty interesting novel, it's short, to the point, has an interesting way of interpretating things, and has this ncie bubble gummy flavor to it.

Transformers on Blu-ray: Worth every penny, great picture quality and sound. However, I heard that the HD-DVd verison had better picture quality, if this is true then maye one of you guys could elaborate for me, becuase I recently saw a post on one of the user reviews for the Blu-ray verison on Blu-ray.com and he/she said it was just a direct copy of the HD-DVD verison. But anyway, it has a HUD display, alos has some nice facts such-Did you know that the bald guy who introduced the hackers ot Jon Voight's character at the pentagon is, in real life, the son of Presidnet Ford? There also some interesting BD live featurees, but me and my dad are thinking about hooking it up to the computer, any tips, please? I have a ps3 by the way...

In other news: I'm a bit nervous, why? Meh, I heard from a source on some Jpna Brothers thread on imdb that england or somehwere else is making this black hoeld eivce which will make mini black holes. Should we be worried since I said I'm a bit nervous? Well, they said the chnces of us all dying are very low, but not 0. Maybe 1 to a million( maybe more, forget). Shoudl I be worried? Probably not, these are scientists, they know they're facts and believe it not, Switzerland( was it?) did the same thing last month, nothign bad happened from it. I'd also like to point out that by making mini blackholes that it wouldn't kill us all, big ones could but by big I'm not sure how to measure the scale of it, but form what I heard it would have to be big as heck to do so. How do I know this? Hear dit from some Popular Science mag I read years ago, whcih also talked about an invisibility cloak, which is in development or has alreayd been completed. Man, the future's getting bigger. Wish we coudl spend this hard earned money on defense devices, like deflecting asteroid(s). Stephen hAwking says if we don't work on our space work we could be dead within a 100 years maybe( that's what a friend told me at least...). So, since this hasn't been highly reported and sinc emy folks are news media nuts and have yet to see any coverage about it, we should be fine. But I sitll pray, it calms me down.

Finally, inregards ot my art, I will post my at suggestions tomorrow so you guys can determien what you want to see the most out of me, Both are drawn and photo manipulations.

Oh yeah, saw Bangkok Dangerous last night, pretty good, not the msot heaviest action movie ever, but more of a character study and a much darker film.

After hearing so many comparisons between my drawing and Frankenstein's monster, I decided to delete and learn a lesson about shading. For now on I will try not give what looks like little stitches for the the shading. So I intend to do a better verison of it as soon as possible.

In the mean time, today's been a pretty sucky day for me. I slammed my car's door into my foot, got into an argument with my sister, had to be rush this morning, am feeling pretty tired right now, and finally, I'm freaking hot despite hte nice wind. What also sucks is that I don't ahve enough to get an adobe photoshop or a painter X, instead I'm stuck with micrsoft office picture manager, and that doesn't do much except do some nice saturation here and there.

At least I got my hands on Reign of Starscream issue 4 today, haven't read it yet but will tonight most likely.

*Sighs* today's been crap, tomorrow better be good, althoguh it's doubtful since it will be hotter and there's a good chance of severe weather in my area.

And don't reocmend me some books, I can easily prit a picture of whatever character I want to draw and trace them all dang day.

Anyway, the reason why I ask this is becuase after posting some of my art on some threads over at IMDb( outisde of Heath Ledger dedications) people really hate the heck out of my art and thinks it's drawn horribly. Whilst they did not provide any constructive criticism I do feel that I'm a medicore artists at best.

What do I need to do in order to improve my style of work? More or less shading? less lines for the detail? Better ink? Becuase that's what I got.

I need some opinions, and don't be so shy of detail either.

Now I think I m a very good artists, but he only flaws that I see are my noses and ears.
I know I know...Waited too long for it, but who cares? THE DAKR KNIGHT WAS TOTAL PWNAGE! It was celver, it was exciting, it was filled with spectacular performances( especially Ledger!), it had good actions set peices, it had witty humor, it's...On par with T-2 and Aliens as being one of the best sequels of all-time! But( I know I will be bashed for this) but I give a 9 isntead of a 10 and say T-2 was better, as far as sequels go. Why? Of heavens why? I'll say it, Bale's batman voice wasn't that great, it wsn't as flawless as it was with the first, I felt he tried too hard, but at least gave the essence of Batman right. So that being my only flaw, it's a 9, a hard 9 though. Maybe if I see it a third time, and perhaps in the glorious IMAX, I may change my rating to a 10 out of 10. Hey, the more times you see it the better, depending if it's the kind of flick that you will always like to watch form tiem to time, or all the time.

Anyway, moving on, I wnat to share my thoughts on some of the movie trailers that have caught my interest for a while...Won't reveal much though, don't want to get into trouble so they'll be quick summary's.

Starting off with...Watchmen. It looks visually stunning and has a great theme of a dark world. I like how Dr. Manhattan is being handled in special effects terms. I'm impressed, but will sitll remain optimistic becuae even cool trailers...Can still have the potential to be sub-par flicks. Plus, from what I know this baby has been in production for years and I think that one of the main probles was incorporating all 12 issues into a movie time limit of 2 hours straight. I have the comic, read it many times, very thought provoking read and was certainly better than expected when I first purchased it. I'd really recomend it. But overall, EPIC trailer.

Next, Frank Miller's The Spirit. Now, I've never once read an issue of Will Eisner's The Spirit, but this looks cool as heck with it's slick and gritty style. It's odd, but still awesome. I have actually viewed this trailer more than Watchmen to be honest, it's fun to watch and gives off a more "wanting" vibe for me. So all in all, cool trailer. and I mean Quentin Tarantino cool.

Next, Terminator Salvation with Christian Bale. It loosk differen't compared to McG's other works( them being the Charle's Angels movies and WE Are Marshall, which was great by the way) and gives off a better vibe than T-3 did. Bale's voice is perfect. All in all, good. Just good. But not great.

Lastly for movie trailers, it's something far from hardcore crime stories or evil robots, it's abotu a Dog, named Bolt. Disney's Bolt.

Bolt has an interetsing and cute concept and takes me back to the 90's era of Disney films. The cast sounds good as well, but I have a problem, and it's one of the cast members...Miley. Cyrus. I totally didn't expect her of all people to be in that. But outside of her, it looks cute, but that's all really.

Hello everyone, it's been a while since my last journal entry, I know.

Here I wanted to share my thoguhts on the last two movies I've seen in theatres, Hancock and Wanted.

I know in my first journal I mentioned the new Angelina Jolie action flick Wanted, so I think I should cover that one first. It's "Fight Club" meets "The Matrix" and for good measure. And like Fight Club it had this great narration with stylish comedy. And like The Matrix it has fantastic action set peices and interesting styles of combat coming from the characters. It also has good drama in it's middle core. My only problem is the camera work for some of the action set peices, too shakey and this is coming from somebody who didn't mind the camera in Cloverfield, The Bounre series, and Michael Bay's Transformers. I think we need a little less of that effect. Hopefully Chris Nolan's action scenes aren't shakey in The Dark Knight becuase by the looks of the trailers it seems he's cranked up the action.

Next, Hancock and I can't beleive it's getting so much hate, I personally loved it. It had a good balance between it's comedy and it's drama along with some fun action scenes in between. What's also good is that it is a summer blockbuster that is based on an original screenplay. I can't name an action movie base don an original screenplay for the summer season in a long time.

So yes, I would recomend both to anyone.

Now, let's move onto The Dark Knight. Then Hellboy 2, and then maybe to Journey To The Center Of The Earth.

In the meantime, it's hot here, might have some storng stuff later, I'm trying to contact a friend so we can go to The Dark Knight together.

In other news I should my Dad Casino Royale the other day, he loved it, much more than the Perice Brosnan ones. Oh yeah we also rented Batman: Gotham Knight, it's superb, would recomend that one. Now I'll I need to get is the Blu-ray version of that for my PS3...

Bought ID4 on Blu-ray DVD to see what the big deal if about and good God! It was an awesome experience, am officialy going blu(e) from now on. Haven't gotten my hands on a PS3 game yet, too spendy for plus considering that I wish to purchase digital camcorder before summer ends and have lots of other stuff to check out like The Dark Knight for one thing and get a memory car adapter so all my old PS2 games can be played by me again on my PS3 system, but I'm not so sure if that will work so me and father intend to know more about this sort of thing. I'll keep you updated future PS3 buyers. Not much of a technology buff, only enjoy them no questions asked type here.

First, I am sorry if it took me such a long time to write out my first journal entry.

So let's start. My birthday is coming this weekend on the 28th. Surprisingly I'm not that excited and for some reason I feel nervous. Off considering that I'm not that excited for the event at hand. I made a list to my folks and the top thing I've asked is a Playstation 3, anything else on that list is comprised of Blu-ray DVD's, Sapce Jam special editon and the Steve Alten novel The Trench. I don't expect to get them all so that's probably the reaosn why I'm not that excited but hey dreams and wishes are limitless, only till they meet up with what's called money. Speaking of whcih I had asked for two comic books for my B-day, Transformers movie sequel: Reign of Starscream #2 and #3, me and Dad ordered them online and I believe #2 will come to me this week, as for #3 sadly not till next week, due to IDW's delay. BTW, I'll be 17

Now for movies, what have I seen so far from this summer season? I didn't see Zohan, Kung Fu Panda, Love Guru, or Narnia yet but I did see Iron Man, Hulk, Speed Racer, Indy 4, Get Smart, and The Happening. Did I like them all? No. I didn't like Speed Racer and The Happening. I loved the rest though.

This weeked I intend on seeing the new Angelina Jolie action film Wanted, I've been trying to find a copy of the script but no use, yes I do like to spoil myself. Can't help it sometimes. Most times. Anyway I think I'll try to convince my folks to take me to it along with other family members and possibly friends on my B-day. It would be a blast, me thinks.

As for right now. Currently I've got fatigue, haven't gotten enough sleep lately and have bene on the computer too much lately. Need to cut back. And with the slight risk of severe weather tonight south of the state I live in and being a guy who doesn't like severe weather at all, I'm a bit of a nervous wreck, nah not really, still nervous though. I especially hate it when they occur at night, can't see squat.

So that's it for my entry. And yes I do have many dieas for future pics to draw but no secrets shall be shown...
