A 13-year-old boy was detained last week for investigation of threatening to inflict injury by means of electronic communication - essentially, cyberbullying.

Two 12-year-olds were booked for battery on school property, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

The three suspects, whose identities were not released because of their ages, were booked on Wednesday and released to their parents. They could face misdemeanor charges, but it was unclear when the case might be submitted for possible prosecution, Whitmore said.

Four girls and three boys reported that schoolmates shoved or kicked them on November 20 at A E Wright Middle School in Calabasas, an affluent suburb of Los Angeles.

No serious injuries were reported. Most incidents involved a single person kicking a student's shoe or leg, but one youngster was bruised when three or four boys confronted him at once, said Donald Zimring, superintendent of the Las Virgenes Unified School District.

He may have been kicked in the groin or head while on the ground, although accounts differ, Zimring said.

"Any time a youngster gets hurt because of a thoughtless act ... there ought to be consequences," Zimring said.

Assemblies were held Monday at the school to discuss the incident.

Investigators said the attacks apparently were inspired by a 2005 episode of South Park that parodied racial prejudice by having the character Cartman incite a hate campaign against freckled, red-haired "ginger kids."

The episode apparently inspired the 13-year-old to send his friends a Facebook message declaring "Kick a Ginger Day," Zimring said.

Great. So, South Park is being blamed for a malicious teenage prank.
I'm actually disgusted about this, it's completely unfair.

To begin with, who the hell lets their thirteen-year-old watch South Park?? It's an R-16 show!
It isn't the fault of As If Productions that some idiot child watched their show and got a nasty idea! It's publicly stated on almost every episode that Cartman is a stupid, fat, lazy, intolerant, racist bully, and nobody approves of what he does. If some thirteen-year-old sees what Cartman does and thinks it's cool, then maybe his parents should reconsider what they let him watch, he's obviously pretty impressionable! Eric Cartman has voiced his hatred of the following minorities, people, and groups:

Jews
British people (especially Pip)
The Chinese
Asians in general
Black people (except for the school cafeteria chef)
His friend Kyle's mother (he likes to sing a song he made up called, 'Kyle's Mom is a Bitch, in F Minor' )
His friend Kenny (because he's poor)
Canadians
Anyone who's different

However, this seems to be the first time anyone has blamed South Park for an attack, and I think it's because until now, people have been intelligent enough to point the finger at someone other than South Park Studios and As If Productions, who are obviously not to blame in this situation.

And if the kids are thinking to do this anyway, the parents arent doing their job at all by not teaching them that it's wrong! It's the same as why 4-Kids cleaned up Yu-Gi-Oh!, it was too violent for children!

Can anyone help me come up with cosplay ideas?
I want to cosplay for the Armageddon Expo next year, and I'd like it to be a strong cosplay, as my cosplay this year was very weak, it didn't look like I was in costume at all.

I'm a short, skinny white chick with blue eyes, and by the time of the expo, my hair should be past my shoulders. Assuming I can access wigs and party dye, but not coloured contact lenses, who can I cosplay as?

Height: 5 foot 4
Weight: approximately 119 pounds
Preferences: I'd rather not have to strap my chest again, it's painful and restricts my breathing.

Many of you may have seen one of my more recent poems, entitled Awhi, or ~ViperQueen13's rather emotional Journal entry, entitled Broken.

We both said some rather nasty things about Awhi, stuff we...well, okay, we did mean it, but we take it back. I previously had posted the conversation which made me reconsider, but upon Awhi's request, I have removed it.

I am willing to let him redeem himself, and I will swallow my pride here and admit I was wrong, and too quick to jump to conclusions. This has been one hugely epic misunderstanding, which led to someone's heart being broken.

This is not resolved. Do not be fooled into thinking that. However, I have written a poem as an apology for what we said, and I hope Awhi will accept our apology. ([link])
