At last the 5th photo shoot came...I'm sorry for my absence but due to school stuff and other things i couldn't manage to keep in touch with DA...

Anyways...here I am! this photo shoot was taken at Ghajn Tuffieha in Malta..it's a very nice fortification left to us by Grand Master Juan de Lascaris-Castellar of the Knights of Malta who commissioned five towers during the period 1637 - 1640....we've got loads of them and believe me all of them are beautiful.

I was so happy that at last I had the time to make another shoot. we took about 40 photos but I had to choose 22...they are still a lot but they're too beautiful to leave any of them out ...

Well hope you'll like them as much as I do...I hope that I'll keep in touch!

So long since my last journal. well I hadn't time to write nor to think about waht to write...

Anyways, hope you're ok. I took another photoshoot but I had no time to submit them. I wrote too but since I in a band I don't want to risk that someone steals them or anything.

School began on the 11th september...how boring...and I'm writing from one of the school computers. I'm just tired of researching so instead of sleeping here I am...

just wanted to update..i haven't uploaded a deviation for a while...well there's a reason for everything.

well I'm in a secretarial course and at the moment i have a 74 slide presentation to prepare. in fact lately they just filled us with presentations. in the last month i had to prepare 3, 2 of them are ready, the last one is due to monday. as the word itself say and mean, i have to present a presentation regarding restaurants and places of entertainment. we're 4 in the group and in the end i had to collect all the presentations that the other prepared on the topics we should discuss and here i am, trying to make them perfect. i had to change almost all the pictures, had arrange the fonts and sizes..well I'm devastated. and all this for a course that I'm not sure if I'm going to continue it.

well I'm really fucked up. i just can't decide on what to do...that's life i guess....with the band everything is going ok. we didn't begin the rehearsals but we found a garage..with no light ...heh who knows maybe "love will find the way"...at least i hope...

ok..no more bad things..soo..hmm...a good thing is that i'm not feeling that much confused as before...things with my bf are just going perfect (touch wood)...i guess that's all for today...ohh and thanks to Stacey IIIIII hhhhhhhaaaaaavvvvvvveeeeee aaaaaa...KAMELOT T-SHIRT!wihhie and thanks to my friend Christian (the guitarist) i have also a System Of A Down album...Toxicity...hehe...

I previously told you about the band etc...Well finally I will have my first voice lesson....my teacher is French and her name is Maddy. well...the other band members are doing great...Stacey is handling well her violin lessons, the drummer and the bassist are doing great and the guitarist is doing a good job too. Lyrics are coming out like pancakes and I’m trying to learn some music theory...it's quite boring to learn alone....

Well that does all for today....hope that the 'happily ever after' will arrive soon.....btw...happy anniversary Stacey!

I have superb news for you. last Monday I went to consult a new doctor and finally..at least I hope... that he gave me the solution for knee problems. YEY! i hope that maybe I can run again...just like before...I will get back in shape and will make one of my dreams come true!

Apart from this, last Thursday I met the vocalist and lyric writer of the band 'Winter Moods ' (you Maltese definitely know of whom I'm talking about)...any way...I showed him my lyrics and he encouraged me to create a new band...if any of you Maltese know someone who would like to join into the band I need a guitarist and someone who knows how to play piano....I really need your help....apart from this he told me that my lyrics are very touching...I never imagined that someone with such talent would tell me that....well guys...gotta go!

hope you're doing fine...hehe I'm not. I have an enormous and gigantic conflict deep down my heart. have you ever felt that feeling that you don't know what are you going to do in the future?the problem is that I know what to do but I can't do it...it's nothing extraordinary...I don't wanna be a some kind of superhero...all I want to be is a police officer....that's my dream...I want to serve and protect...i want to feel the adrenaline running through my veins...i like to be afraid..i like the feeling and the consciousness that you don't know what will happen next.

Eehh.....the prob is that my knee is giving me troubles...I'm afraid to run...I'm afraid that it will hurt me more each day....

These were taken in an alley near my house at Mgarr Malta..the first time I took a close look at it was in the first weeks of August when we had the "Lejla Imgarrija"...it's a tradition for the Mgarr people to make some talent shows, fruit and vegetable shows and other things. At last....the second one is ready...it was taken at Ta' Braxia Cemetery...I guess you Maltese know where it is...but I will still try and tell you where it...it's not that complicated...it is at Msida, right before the "Bieb Il-Bombi", there's this enormous cemetery...and believe me...it's very big.

The tombs are very old...some of them are of the 1800...they're all with crosses and there was even one with an angel...you can see it in this [link] Most of them are victims of a plague and also war victims. Some of them are so young...the most common are 18-23 yrs old. There's also a section dedicated to Marine victims...

And there's this chapel, it's quite big. We managed to see the inside from a small key hole. It's so beautiful! as soon as I saw it I fell in love with it...heh....this is definitely the most beautiful photo shoot. we spent 1hr and 30 mins there. We took 69 photos...

I simply love that place....hope that some will visit it...

Well, I began to write about 5-6 years ago. First I began to write Detective stories, then Macabre, then Romantic..(only one)...then poems...and finally songs. Maybe I will submit one. I had always wished to have some voice lessons...but I'm too shy...I have to work on it....my friends told me that I've got a pretty good voice but I need a lot of improvement. My dream is to sing one of my songs in public to show that I, Dorianne Mifsud, can be whatever I want. People won't laugh at me because of the way I take life, the way I talk or walk. They will realise that I'm better than them...I know that I will become someone one day....it just takes time to find the right path.

I've said that I'm shy...You can't imagine the laughs for the photo shoot....I hope you like them. They're one of the birthday presents for my boyfriend....hope he doesn't find out before
