apologies for not being able to update this account as much as i used to...life has been a bit more difficult lately with the cancellation of our daily comic strip in bandera and the lack of students to tutor...

...to compensate, i've been doing more commissioned works like my latest deviations...if you like what i've been doing and want one for yourself, just send me a note and maybe we can make a deal or something...

...oh yeah, i'll be heading for the province from this sunday, july 16 till august 3...finally had the opportunity to go on a vacation...although i will still have to work there...i have to sing at a wedding and still do some art commissions...

...after about 3 months ( has it really been this long...?) i've finally had the chance to update this site

...i apologize to the people i watch and to those that watch me for being away so long...really sorry to the guys and gals at *Circleoffriends for not being able to help out the whole time i was gone...i promise i'll try and keep up with the helping...
...was pretty busy since october with work (singing, Voice over, comics, teaching) and studies (animation classes)

...i've finally...finally upgraded my system...i now have an AMD64 3Ghz based system
...so expect more artworks from now on...

went to the second part of the auditions yesterday and found out that i and all of the other doodz and doodetz were alerady absorbed into the company's talent pool.....YAY!

only thing left to then was to record a hardcopy of the character voices each of us were able to project...was a bit dissappointed with myself here as i wasn't really able to maximize my performance(fear took over after seeing a professional voice over perform)...i think i still need a bit more guidance regarding character voices...

we'll fin out friday if i was able to make it to the final list of guys who'll be recording the new anime show...if i don't, then i automatically get absorbed into the next project.....one with lower pay and lower number of episodes....its okay with me coz i've only just started...........but given the choice, i'd pick the first anime...

went to an audition for a new cartoon series, i think its the one mateo gudicelli(did i spell this correct?) and angel locsin are going to star in...don't exactly know if my chances are high or low(as this would be my first attempt at this dubbing/voice-over thing)....but i got some pretty good comments from the director before he let me go with the usual..."we'll call you if you get a part..."

...the direk kept praising me for being able to adjust my voice depending on the character i was portraying(there were two) and not getting their voices mixed-up....

i really hope i do get a part in that cartoon....yeah there's that whole angel locsin thing (i think every other guy would want to have an opportunity to meet her)...but i'm hoping i get the part because of my vocal talents....

i won't be logging much on D.A. the rest of this week till next week....there's just too much work to do. got several new pages to color for the comic book....plus the weekends singing for the seedlings at the EDSA Shrine....and i recently got tagged to help in fixing the venue for a caterer uncle...and i might do some animation/editing again......yeah its a lot of work....wish me luck.....we all got to make some money you know.....

ignition will be delayed for some time people...there's been some difficulty getting sponsors to cover for the additional expenses we got from the increase in prices for printing....got the news from our publisher this week. sorry to those of you who have been wondering why we haven't released issue 3.

that doesn't mean we've given up though...we're currently working on issue 4...production has been a little faster than usual with occasional slowdowns due to my updating certain pages of the 3rd issue so it won't look too outdated (we've added a game&dvd review section as of the 3rd issue)

here's hoping issue 3 comes out before july....ipagdasal niyo kami....PLEASE!

i've been going out more lately....been having voice lessons(finally) oh yeah, i also joined this choir for the Edsa Shrine a couple of weeks back and i've been performing since two weeks ago(choir directress and voice teahcer is the same person)...we sing during the 11 am mass every sunday...weee!!! banal na ulit ako!

Been busy the past few weeks with work (comics, comicstrip, house chores and dogs). plus i was recently commissioned to make some designs the stained glass windows at a local church....main reason why i don't get to comment on most people's stuff and same reason why i haven't posted any new works (agreed to do the stained glass thing since i don't get to go to church much.....last time was before christmas).

oh yeah one of my shar-pei's is pregnant again so if anyone is interested in purchasing one just call me up by april(of course you have to be in the Metro Manila area to be able to buy a pup....)

i recently got myself my own dvd-rom and have been spending most of the day either working or watching movies............got to see the movies "Talk to Her" and " "Cinema Paradiso"...........two very emotional foreign movies.......if you haven't seen these, you should................bothe touching and entertaining........................

....also been working on a special project for my grandmother.......i'm currently restoring two photos for her..............the first a picture of her family...........didn't think it would be this time consuming when i first looked at the pics.....but it sure is............did any of you ever notice that portrait photos then had clothes and accessories painted on the subjects?

I just got up from a 12 hour sleep which start yesterday afternoon and damn does it feel good.....refreshing after having to spen a whole week with about two hours of leep a day trying to finish this months' comic book release....went back to check what's happening at D.A. today and saw that i've got 257 message centre items ( 149D, 1H, 2M, 9C, 83J, 5P, 8N ) to work with.....ack a lot more work

thanks to ~jerzchick16 for hoping i get everything done on time......her prayers were so strong the deadeline was moved two days.........

i really liked that part when the bride was put in a coffin and buried alive....that whole sound only scene was just way cool for the film........

i liked the whole kung-fu training bit too......kindda got me reminiscing my childhood learning kung-fu from third grade till sixth then sophomore till junior high.......hayyyyy memories....the tortures.....the knuckle push-ups and the whole trying to stretch my legs so i could do splits....man i miss all of that..........(do i sound masochistic or what?!?)

still haven't gotten the time to do make some more sculptures and drawings...i know i promised i'd draw some people and post them here.....maybe i'll try making them tomorrow or something( hehehehe) i'm sure i'll finish all the work i've set out to do before july ends though.....

at P90 pesos its still a cheap buy from our foreign comicbook counterparts...and besides each issue consists of for different stories tackling genres from sci-fi (damage faction)by marvin del mundo, raeth (fantasy)michael seludo & colors by me, hango (filipino folklore)by mark santillan, and ygw (teen angst)by wish ronquillo, david serador and colored by me...oh yeah i'm also the chief lay-out artist for this comicbook and also the editor and chief so i guess its my fault if any typos make it to print hehehe..... i guess you'll all get your money's worth... we've also included a freebie for our first issue.... Atomic Underground, an independent comicbook, some of my colleagues made last year that garnered a first and second place finish for two successive years at the indie comic fest sponsored by culture crash...
