How was everyone's Christmas? Well, hopefully? Mom got a Wii!!! And Guitar Hero World Tour!! xD I suck horribly, but it's still fun. AFTER WAITING FOR MONTHS, I FINALLY RECEIVED MY 8 GB NANO!! NO MORE BEATEN-UP 1 GB FIRST GENERATION!!!

Today I saw Jim Carrey's 'Yes Man', which was actully pretty good and did a little shopping with my mom and sis. And I got my ears pierced!!

This will be my last post as a 16-year-old. Tomorrow's my 1-7!!! xD Damn, I really can't believe it. The year by so fast, I just wish it would slow down. *runs away*

How long has it been since I've last wrote one of these? Months? :shakefish:

Guess it's the winter season, I start cracking down during this time and my schoolwork usually suffers... -.-;;

So much stuff happened, but I'm lazy so I don't really feel like explaining absolutely everything: Thanksgiving was pretty boring, just my dad's family at our house. McDonald's has been giving me earlier shifts lately but with the same amount of hours. So I have to get up at 5:30 now to get ready for a 6:30-11:00 shift...*groans* At least I don't have to stay up so late to watch Code Geass since they switched the time to 2:00 AM. (seriously, adultswim, just pick a permanent time!!) Last Monday, I had a babysitting job for the first time in years to sit for three of my mom's co-worker's kids, two girls and a boy ages 10, 8, and 5. My sis tagged along and we basically played with their Wii the whole day. xD We found an L Mii thats specializes in "Conversation"!!! xD I brought my sketchbook along and they really loved watching me draw. I did all their portraits plus several chibis. Paige, the middle child, saw a sketch of chibi Ryuuichi in my planner and I had to end up explaining what Gravitation was as vaguely and subtly as I could. xD She wanted me to drew a larger female version of him. I drew the same thing with longer hair which she colored in almost completely pink, including his Kumagoro. ^^

Damn, I haven't updated in over four weeks...sh*t...

School's been okay for the most part. It took a while to get used to the switch to the block schedule. (we used to have nine shorter periods, now we have five long ones) Spanish 2 sucks naturally, me being one of the only juniors with all the bratty sophomores and freshmen. (no offence to anyone) Printmaking 1 and Drawing 4 are awesome, though. ^^ I've even grown to like Honors World Cultures, which I deeply regretted for first several days. Fortunately a lot of my friends are in my Lunch period so it's a lot of fun. I get to talk/hang out with people I didn't even have classes with last year so it's all good. I'M SOCIAL, YAY!! ^^

I think I've offically become an X/1999-fanatic. I bought both the soundtracks and the movie. (God bless Suncoast) As of late, I've become obsessed into anything pertaining to CLAMP. (Code Geass, X/1999, Tokyo Babylon, etc.)

Quick question for y'all: Has anime ever made you extremely emotional? After I saw the ending of the English-subbed X/1999 movie today (I didn't even bother to hear the dub) I cried for the first time in ages. And I don't cry easily. I got pretty depressed, just thinking about it later on made me tear up. Thinking about Kamui's line at the end...it's just too sad for words. (F*CK YOU FUUMA, I HATE YOU!!!) The whole movie was awesomely done and the animation was incredible, but I found it slightly rushed the entire way through. (Subaru-sama....WHY???!!!)

Eheh...

It's been offically almost three weeks since I last updated despite the fact that I had ample time to do it.....

This is also the three week aniversary since I joined the popular ever-expanding fast-food chain, namely McDonald's: Kingdom O' The Big Mac. -____- Whoopdie flippin' do.... The first two days were nothing but tutorial vids featuring crappily computer animated senarios including a pair of disguised aliens searching for a better way to operate the drive-through (didja know 60% of sales come from there?) and a pair of spies who needed to learn the proper art of sanitary and cleanliness to thwart an evil mastermind. <_< I swear, I kept having flashbacks of Suzaku screaming in my head, I thought I was gonna go crazy...The rest of the week I was up at the register and learning on the job with the help of my mentor, Laura. By now I can handle the register solo, with the exception of some coupon and discount details. Nobody's been too anal on me yet, which means I've been doing pretty well. ^^ I mopped the lobby
floors for the fist time today!!

*calms down, goes back into dark place) Plus I got a haircut yesterday!! IT'S SO SHORT!!! Okay, not really. It's six inches, but it still goes past my shoulders and it's layered!!

In fangirl news, I'm proud to say that I am only fourteen sentences away from completing my first 50 theme challenge from 1sentence on Livejournal. It's Suzalulu, of course!! ^^ It was a lot of fun and it was a good exercise for me because it's been so long since I wrote a completed fanfiction (years, actually

) I mean, I love thinking up story plots and oneshots, but I never get a chance to type them out, y'know? Right? *sulks in corner* It's theme set Gamma, by the way.

and still in her summer slump........

Yesterday I saw the new movie WALL-E (SOOO CUTE!!) and went to Borders and got the CLAMP no Kiseki set I've been wanting for a while. It comes with three little chess figures including Mokona (Soel/White) and Fai with his staff!! ^^ While I was browsing around the manga books with a buy 4, get the 5th free sale going on, I started flipping through the first volume of Absolute Boyfriend which I've been wanting to read for a while cause of all the cute guys.

Suddenly this little girl who didn't look more than 8 or 9-years-old comes over to me and starts looking at the cover. That featured Night. Naked. Without any clothes. I slowly put the book back on the shelf backwards and got away as quickly as I could. Later on when I thought it was safe to go back, I saw the girl talking to her mom WITH 5 VOLUMES OF ABSOLUTE BOYFRIEND UNDER HER ARM. I don't know if her mom allowed her to buy them or if she even knew the rating or the content, but I'm pretty sure I was reasponsible for corrupting a little kid with naked boys.

Today my mom, sis, and I went to the MÃ¼tter Museum in Philadelphia, which includes the tallest skeleton on display in North America, a large collection of skulls, fluid-preserved organs and fetuses, and various other specimens from medical marvels. Me likey!! ^^

I'm really looking forward to Brad Swaile's Kira rant. I've been really impressed by his Engligh dub of Light, he was the perfect choice, the emotions in his voice really show through. been....long time.....since....last update...uh, me love you all long time?

Summer offically started on the 6th after the Geometry final. (I PASSED!!! DISTINGUISHED HONORS!!! YAYNESS!!

) On the 7th of June, Saturday, I went to my Naruto-loving friend Kirsten's graduation party. My other friend Sara and I played with and gave piggyback and shoulder rides to all the little kids in the pool. ^^ Later on I went and slept over at Dru-chan's house, who I hadn't seen in a while after her Maryland trip. The next day, the 8th, was a horror movie fest on Sci-Fi and such with Cloverfield, Crybaby *shivers*, Chucky III, Cabin Fever, The Grudge, and The Ring, with tarot card readings. That was the night I started reading the Gravitation doujins out loud...On the 9th, I was invited to another birthday party for my friend Cassy where there was a huge water balloon and water fight. ^^ The 11th was the first night of the showing of the Bleach: Memories of a Nobody. Since I watched many of the early episodes and had the first two manga books, I at least knew what was going on.

I went as a spy-from-another-anime, L and Dru-chan went as Mello. We got there an hour before anyone else to avoid the repeat performance of the Death Note movie, where I almost didnÂt get a seat. I ran around up and down the seats like five times, it was AWESOME!!

I slept over again at DruÂs and on the 12th me, Amanda, Katlyn went to DruÂs graduation!!!

The Friday the 13th, was Hershey Park cosplay!!!

I was Beyond Birthday, Dru was Mello, Amanda was LÂMelloÂin Chocolate WorldÂ

And L got stuck on a ride!! That night was more doujin readingÂAnd I was the uke part almost the whole timeÂ

Âtwas a lot of fun!! ^^

Oh yeahs!! I applied for a summer job at McDonaldÂs!! I gets to make moneyz now!!

And tomorrow IÂm getting my haircut for the first time in a while. ^^ And more ZOMG cosplaying at a carnival!! ^^

Claire's party was awesome, as expected with a multitude of Panic At The Disco songs, dancing, Truth or Dare, sugarand sex jokes. A lot of sex jokes. And sugar.

We found out that many of our school's computer passwards could be converted into a porn story. (subtle69?!

) I drew her a chibi Ryan Ross (who she dresses/plays as) which she says is taped to her wall. ^^ (she is also a big fan of SLASH!Bryden, which is how I became friends with her) I'll post it as soon as I can. ^^

The rest of the week wasn't too exciting.....Last week was MIKAMI's EPISODE!!!!! 'TWAS AWESOME!!!! Now I love him even more. XD I found out Mikami's voice actor was the same as Miroku's!!!

I thought Light's voice was similar to Miroku's at first, which is how I found out. Kirby Morrow is the perfect choice, the way he says "God" was so lustful.

ANDANDANDAND I'M EXEMPT FROM MY BIOLOGY FINAL!!! SO I DON'T NEED TO COME IN TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NOW!!!

As the subject title suggests, I've been extremely busy these past few weeks and the upcoming days are no exception. T_T

On Tuesday and Wednesday, as many DN fans may already know, there was a special showing of the first live action English-dubbed Death Note movie at 7:30 to 10:00, which included special behind the scenes features. I went the first showing about fifteen minutes early, and already most of the seats were taken. It was completely filled by show time, so I was really glad I got there when I did. XD Some people even cosplayed!! I saw a really well done Matt, Kira, Near, and L team!! I tried doing my L get-up and tried sitting like him, but I couldn't do it the whole time because my legs kept getting tired, although there was was another L who was doing the same thing. XD So many fans came, it was a pretty nice turnout. People yelled out a lot during the movie, especially when L showed up. XD (Ken'ichi Matsuyama is soo cute!!) Someone yeled out "YAOI!!" during the final scene w/L and Light, so awesome. XD The dub was okay, for just the English voice actors, although a little stiff with the Japanese actors. (if that's how Brad Swaile yells as Light, hows he going to sound in the last episode? XD) They didn't translate the Japanese writing, so it was hard to follow at parts, even though I've seen it before w/subtitles.

I think the best part of the dub was when Naomi was questioning the busdriver and she was showing him the photo of Raye and asking if Raye was on the bus, to which he replied with something around these lines, "he was really hansome, not that I'm into guys".

Thursday was the school's Art Walk which showcased the artwork done that year by the classes. I also had two tests I needed to study for, so I couldn't stay for long.

Friday . . . I have a ton of homework: a final-determining Bio report and a take-home Spanish quiz/project, and starting to study for the monster that is the Geometry final. *dies* Plus, I have a sleepover at my friend Claire's house Saturday . . . >_> . . . well, I guess that's what the extra day off is for. XD

EDIT: I forgot to mention another reason I wan't on devART for a while: due to a f*cking Copyright Violation, my "Light=Zac Efron", "Misa=Hannah Montana", "L=Joe Jonas", "Mello

ylan Sprouse", and "Kaname Kuran is the Japanese Edward Cullen" were taken down . . . I was really pissed at them for removing all my pictures, but I was equally pissed at myself for not adding a ". . . this is not my picture, I'm just using it for entertainment . . ." line. I could have at leat saved my "Kaname" poster . . . I worked really hard to get so many

s and views, and I finally had over 1,000 hits on the "Light" one, my personal fav . . . So I felt emo and angry enough to rebel from devART for a few days. But I'm back, don't worry. ^^ Fortunately, the Puzzleshipping Poster is still up probably since the original picture was from a fan-made doujinshi, at least for now, and I doubt they will take down my L icon.

On friday, I went to my best friend Sara's 16th b-day party which she rented a limo for!! There was ginger ale and wine glasses so we did a toast (and Kelly and I pretended to be drunk

)^^ We went bowling with about seven of our other friends and we competed in two teams, no bumpers. I suck at bowling, but so did most of us.

I gots a spare, though!! ^^ Along with her present I also drew her a card featuring chibi Neji in a box which I'll post later. We later went for pizza and ice cream. All in all, very very fun. ^^

Saturday, I watched the Panic Room (w/ the smexy Jared Leto!! ^^) Later I went and slept over at Dru-chan's house along with

Sunday was the AWESOME. The three of us went to Animania at the local Suncoast. I was Mikami, Dru-chan was Misa, (we fought over Light

), and Dracina was Kenshin complete w/the man-skort hekama pants. Aw, my first (sort of) anime con. ^^ There was so many cosplyers: Yuki Cross, two Rock Lees, Gaara (w/ the gourd of awesome), IRONMAN, Demyx, 2 Emo-er, I mean Zexions, a Sweeney Todd singing Tobi/L (

) ............ And of course best of all there were the Matt (

) , Mello, and Near, plus the real KIRA!!! WE BEAT UP HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!! (which got us in trouble ... ) AND THERE WAS GRATUITOUS MELLOxMATT ACTION!!! (thank you so much!! ^^) After Animania, we all went to Laser Dome for t3h t4g of t3h L4S3RS!!!!

And that's basically it.

Last weekend was another awesome party at

's house. Everyone was there and it was a ass-load of fun, consisting of such events as three-quarters of a hairspray can and purple massage gel. ^_^ I FINALLY GOTS THE MIKAMI SUIT!!!!

Now I don't have to wear my winter jacket like in my cosplay photo!! (I got REALLY warm, REALLY fast indoors) I also dressed up as L along side

. Much fun ...

So, the "acursed" episode 25 has finally been shown .............. *sniff* It was a good idea Heather brought tissues ......... I seriously thought I would cry, even though I've seen the actual scene several times before ....T_T I gave Light the finger near the beginning at least!!

And we all threw tissuses at him at the end!! Heather threw the box, and also a towel that accidently hit Matsu.

And, yes, as my subject title states, I've located a D*sney L look-alike. How scary is it? When I showed the guy's picture to my sister (a huge D*sney Channel fan), she stared several moments at it with her mouth open and then screamed.

Should be done pretty soon, I just need an L picture to match it. ^^

Last Thursday I went on a trip to Washington D.C. with the art department at my school to see the National Gallery of Art. The bus ride there took three hours so I slept some of the way. The gallery 'twas pretty cool, we got to see the Rauschenberg gallery and a lot of sculptures and old paintings stuff. I partnered (?) up with

Now I have to wear an actual cast on my left foot because it got extremely swollen for reasons unknown. (seriously, I just woke up one morning and it was really swelled

) It sucks pretty damn hard, but at least I got to pick out the colors, striped blue and light blue and an added glow-in-the-dark stripe, plus I got all my friends to sign it. ^^ I also had to get a blood test done, after which I apprently almost fainted.

Another highlight was the two day sleepover

's house where she,

and Dru-chan's friend got together to cosplay and stuffs. I was Mikami, Dru-chan was Misa, Kate was Kenshin, and Amanda was Misa/Matt. SOOO MUCH FUUUNNN ...

I truly SAKUJO'd up the place, if I do say so myself. ^^ We did a LOT of Death Note yaoi drawings and Avenue Q lip-syncing.

Light (Brendan) and Dru-chan's other friend Daniel also came over, too which was cool. ^^ We played Apples to Apples and Guitar Hero 3 (my first time) !!! And we all watched Death Note together!!

And of course, schoolwork ended up ruining everything. The huge-ass research paper that's due in late April needed quotes and paraphrases from my information sources (25, frickin' cards ... ) that was due today. I ended up finishing it at eleven at night last night, stressing over the last four quotes ... T_T

As for the requests, I'm seriously almost done and I have two big tests in Spanish and American Cultures on Thursday (and before Easter break, no less *low grovel*) I'll try to get them finished as soon as possible. *bows repeatedly*

We all glomp/tackled Light(Brendan) when he came!! ^^ And L was here this time!! (although he looked more like a heartless ...

) It was a lot of fun, just naming a few things: Misa x2 dances with L, a constant struggle to get L to put on eye make-up, L vs Misa with thumb tacks, L vs Light with the scythe (I accidently whacked a few people, sorry), and Mikami kissing Light!! (3 times, actually) ^^

I took a lot of videos off of my cell phone, so I'll post them on my youtube as soon as possible. ^^

Snow day today, so no school!! ^^ Spent the day on my mom's laptop.

As my Subject heading suggests, on 2.20.08, I BOUGHT "The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases"!!! YAY!!!

*does happy dance* At first I was going to get it on the offical release date on the 19th, but the Borders Iwent to didn't have it, so I got the "How to Read" guidebook and vol. 2 of Vampire Knight. The guide is pretty good anyway, I really enjoyed the 4-coma comics and the Pilot episode (is it just me, or does Taro look an awful lot like Mikami?

)

The novel is so incredibly aweome, I'm about in the middle of it now. (I'm not the type to read everything in one sitting, unfortunately) I loved the jam descriptions. ^^ Misora compared Ryuzaki to Pooh bear, it's too funny!!

) The teacher Mr. Rafael (who is also my Figure Drawing teacher) (his website: [link] ) was looking through some of the books until he came across a panel of Ryo and Dee kissing and said, "This book has gay in it!" You have no idea how much I laughed. He later said that he was okay with seeing the actual sex, but the "cuddling" creeped him out.

I brought vol. 3 and 5 of Death Note for Raf-kun to look at (I'm picking up the nickname, Amanda-chan!!

) while we were finishing our first project, an illustration to the Edgar Allen Poe poem, "The Bells". (I'll scan the finished inked product) When he returned it and the Naruto manga (vol. 27, I think?) he concluded that Kishimoto (quote) "doesn't hold a candle to Takeshi".

Brendan, the only boy besides Logan (who wasn't here today anyway) who doesn't fear the yaoi-ness and sits around us, agreed to get a "L" tatto on the back of his neck by Liz. He has offically become our Light Yagami and Logan is our L!! (we also have an involuntary Mello, Matt, and Near AKA the rest of the boys in the class)

Next week was decided to be the Death Note cosplay week. Heather and Amanda will share being Misa-Misa and I'm being Mikami!! ^^ (very satisfied) I'm bringing you a scythe, Light!! ^^

As of Saturday, I have to wear an air cast on my right foot after I fractured a grow plate in my ankle.

Basically, my sister and I begun to start living partly at my mom's house after she moved out from the divorce. The house is pretty nice and it's in my old neighborhood so the set up is similar to my old house. (my family moved to a different house when I was in sixth grade, thankfully not switching school districts in the process) When she first moved in she didn't have a scanner so even with the working laptop with internet access I couldn't post my stuff. And of course since I didn't get to e-mail my scanned pictures, I couldn't post the Anime Eye Tutorial I've been working on. T_T I also have gotten a surge of creative prowess for many new fanfiction oneshots so I want to start typing them right away ... but then I'll have to constantly e-mail the documents back and forth between houses, how annoying!!! *angry*

Yesterday we pretty much slept in and did shopping chores. And we got Comcast cable!!! Hurray!!!

So I could watch my shows here, now!!

Death Note was on, so my mom and 11-year-old sis wanted to watched it with me ... not as bad as I expected. What I really got a kick out of was when Light was talking about how Death Gods "don't exist" ...
