After catching Courage the Cowardly Dog on CN twice in the past week, I decided to look for the DVDs on Amazon and there are non which makes me quite sad. Part of the review, which I skimmed more than read, said that the new movie is more in tune to a child's perception of what they think the adult world is. He think the movie is too dark and that there is no hope for the world. He feels that that is the message that the movie is trying to convey. Some things were quite silly. Action writers need to learn how to write non-corny, non-silly romantic fluff. The interactions just seemed to be incredibly corny and they kept making me laugh.

I laughed a lot at this movie, so that's cool.

The animations fr the Golden Army were pretty freakin' sweet.

Young Hellboy should have had his goatee.

I love Mignola and Del Toro's creature designs. They were gorgeous, as much as they were creepy. I kind of want to draw Mr. Wink. They were amazing, I couldn't tell who created which ones.

I wonder if they're going to go for a third movie. I loved the ending.

Comic books trades are pretty freakin' sweet. I just finished Preacher, I've gt a collection of The Spirit to read, and a few other things seeing as how Big Planet Comics was having a sale on Friday.

So, last week i grabbed a few new CDs, I got U2's U2 Singles 18, a compilation of some of their hits from the past...whenever, Maroon 5's  It won't BE Soon Before Long, and the Sweeney Todd movie soundtrack.

trust me, i fucking fell in love with 'Can't Stop' off of the M5 album, I swear, i like it even more than the singles released. I also now have to go back and pick up Songs About Jane, just because I want my own copy of it.
