2 years.... a lots has changed in that time.

Moved from one city to another, got my driving license, sold my car and didnt buy another one... blew my computer up, blew another one up, oh and just recently bought a laptop thats about as useful as a fart in a wet suit (no seriously, its hella slow, well when rendering anyway).

So... here i am, surfing DA with my fart filled wet suit, wondering if i will actually remain active this time..... hmmm


Lets see..... probably not... but lets see what happens eh?

Working on a new render/gfx piece at the moment, dont know how its gonna come out as i've not done any gfx work for a very long time (YIKES! I'm a newbie again! NOOOOO), but if it is any good (or if its not) i will upload something.

well... random typing and babling over, for now.

A lot has changed around here since ive been away. People leaving, new people, thousands of deviantions in my message box, and of course, a new look on the DA site (although fairly new, still buggy)

Anyway, i think im back a bit longer than a couple of days this time, so time to get some new deviations up.

Anyways, i am starting to make my return, my first comeback piece is my very first Vector image of a Shelby Cobra GT500 -> [link] which i am proud of, even though it still needs a fair bit of work. I shall hopefully be producing more vector work as time goes on, and i get more confident with Illustrator.

I shall be creating and posting a few more deviations over the next couple of weeks.

I have recently just had to reinstall the forums due to code and SQL errors all over the place.

I have spent the past two days trying to get new forums set up for IsQ. And i have finally done it.

Godamn messy people at Invision, i have had to edit so much code to get it all working properly. Not to mention editing code to install extra things for the forum.

The Forums are for the Gaming, Radio, and graphics sections of IsQ Network.

Im yet to start on the IsQ Sites, i though the forums would be a good starting point.

I'm back at school now, so I'll have very little time for writing up the DU, big thanks to =JFMuni for making it easier with the giant mass of awesome deviations!
I'm thinking about having a colour theme week, where each day each of the deviations will be based on a certain colour, todays third deviation is a good example of red, to suggest a deviation, note me the same way, but with the colour of the deviation suggested...
I'll probably use something along the lines of;

:pointr:Green
:pointr:Yellow
:pointr:Then what? Purple? Pink? Purple and pink? let me know!
I'll start the theme week when I have enough deviations.

Dev-Recognition has finally been launched.

Dev-Recognition is a scheme run by myself and *RoyalBlade to promote deviants that arent getting the recognition they should be getting for their work.

I know what your thinking, what makes this community different from the rest? Well, to be honest, absolutely nothing. We do exactly as the others do, though we dont feature just random deviations, we only feature deviations by our members. This way we dont spend too much time looking for work thats not yet been fully recognised, and spend more time working with our members to promote their work.

How does it work?

Its really quite simple, once you have been added to the members list, we simply keep a watch on your work. When we see something we think really should be promoted, we add that deviation to our gallery, and we send you a note stating we have featured it.
Obviously we disable all comments on the deviation and provide links back to you (the artist). We clearly state that the deviation was not created by us, but by one of our members.
If you (the artist) are not happy with the decision of adding your deviation to our gallery, you simply send us a note, and we remove it.

How do i become a member?

We will then add you to the members list. (usually within 12 hours).

Ive just returned from a nice 4 day holiday/break in Jersey. Stayed in a huge hotel, thats very expensive. Definatly worth it though. A couple of nice nightclubs over there, but thats about as exciting as it gets.

Theres a few photos of Jersey in my gallery, feel free to take a look (hint hint)

Things arent going too well with IsQ Network (my business), servers are offline all over the place, and i really cba to sort it out, so ive left John (business partner) in charge of everything. Also the damn ceiling at home fell down, obliterating most of my equipment ( Computers, Mixer, Speakers, HI-FI, ), still waiting to hear back from the insurance company about my stuff. :(
