I got a LOT of stuff for XMAS and most of it was DEATH NOTE(best manga/anime in my opinion) I was soooooo happy!

I'm having a party tonight with a few of my friends I haven't seen in FOREVER tonight & maybe my bf(he hasn't said anything yet 0.0)

The good news:
Paramount pictures is coming out with a The Last Airbender movie!!!!!

THE BAD NEWS:
FOUR OF THE MAIN ROLES ARE WHITE

You may ask, "why is it bad that they're white?????"

Well, I have the answer.

This show was derived from EAST ASIAN culture and we're casting white actors. Really?????

I mean, I'm white too, but I still see this as an injustice to the amazing cultures from which the characters, setting, and styles of martial arts, clothing, and even WRITING(it's Chinese!) are based off of!

This is an insult to these wonderful cultures and should be an insult to you! If not personally, then it should be!
