For those of you interested I made a new piece called China Girl. You know, pay tribute to my heritage and all. That and I found some very beautiful stock images. I was trying to mix in a little bit of all of my types of artwork I do. There's a bit of realism painting in there, some design aspects and composition, color themes (i love themes!), vector art, and of course, my first true love, a bit cartoon/comic book in there. So I hope you all enjoy it, and see a bit more into my true art instead of that Ninja Background I made for someone else.

I hoping in the future to do some more modern themed designs and get back into my tshirt designing as well.

As always there's good news and bad news. The good news is that my portfolio finally came in the mail. The box was a bit beaten up but my artwork was fine. You know what this means don't you? Yes that's right.... a whole bunch of new deviations will be up soon. That is.... as soon as i find my black portfolio of artwork i sent in as slides. I know that thing is somewhere around here. My parents also finally signed me up for SAT classes which will finish in time for me to take the October and early November SAT. This is my last chance to get a good SAT score and for the money my parents are spending, I sure hope I won't let them down.

As for the bad news, I now will have to spend A LOT of time trying to complete all my AP summer assignments seeing how I go back to school on the 14th of August and I've only barely begun my homework. It's not just about doing the homework, but it's the fact that I need to study as well. The first week of school will be filled with tests for AP Lit and AP Bio. Wish me best of luck on that.... I'm surely gonna need it. In other bad news, my internet has ceased to work on my personal computer.....leaving me to use my dads comp for temporay internet access. This is bad since MY computer has all my work for the Twice As Nice website AND is the only computer in the house with Photoshop. This means I can't do anything for Deviantart while my internet is down.

So with final thoughts...... even though there's plenty of good news as well as bad news..... either way, I'm just so happy to finally be home!

Yea yea I know! I'm starting to work on new stuff and consequently, have been posting it up here. So be happy. It'll still be awhile till I post my portofolio from AP drawing up here so be PATIENT! Or you'll NEVER see them! buahaha.... I can do that you know! But I am happy to say that as of Monday, the portfolio will be traveling to College Board to be graded *gulp*. Oh dear oh my. So lets see, my plans this break are few, but they are goals that I NEED to accomplish:

1)Sledding.The weekend after Christmas I plan to go with Vic (and anyone else who wants to come) to the snow and go sledding. The more people we can fit on it, the fast, and thus, the better. It only takes maybe an hour and a half to get there. And if you'd like to know, its right below Mountain High Ski Resort.
2)Scarf. Finished that lovely scarf I started last year. I'm sorry okay? I'm a beginner and I mess up a lot on it so I have to keep starting over. But this year is THE year that I will finally finish it!
3)SAT. Finish reading my SAT book. I finally registered for the Jan 28th SAT and printed out my little admissions ticket. So I might as well finish the huge SAT book (and atleast one practice test) before the end of spring break. I hope it will improve my SAT scores, but I won't know for sure since its my first SAT. I wanted to see if they had an effect on my PSAT, but the one that I took at my school has yet to arrive.
4)Read. Finish reading the Amber Spyglass. I read through the Golden Compass and the Subtle Knife so fast, and yet this last book is taking me forever. I need to finish it now, or I never will. Plus I'm sure James would like his book back.
5)Relax and have fun. Relax now cuz as soon as i'm back in school, I'm gonna be stressed out as always.

Well, how nice of u to ask. Our assignment was to pick one of ur favorite bands (whoohooo Franz!) and create a CD Package for one of their existing or non-existing albums. The package includes the front cover, back cover, the design on the actual CD, and a 3 page booklet to go inside the front cover. So all is done, i suppose I got an A since my grade in the class went up to an A.
-"This isn't a real Franz Ferdinand CD!" Yes, i know that. I put together a bunch of songs that will be on their next album and songs that they have played at their concerts. So based on the list of songs, is how I came up with a FAKE album of Franz Ferdinand entitled "Mis-Shapes". If u'd like to download the actual songs, feel free to at franzferdinand.org

Lets just say the kids in there are..... DAMN GOOD! And so to actually get into that class, sometime in April I gotta so the teacher 5 of my best works. So I went home and searched through all my sketch books and binders and realized that, my best 5 works, are crap. So I've been trying to create a new set of 5 works. So far I've drawn a faucet (which I have yet to submit in here), and it came out pretty damn good. So I'm pleased with that.
On another note, I have created a MySpace..... yes i know, I have given into peer pressure. Oh and I forgot to mention. My 16th b-day is on Monday! I'm not doin anything becuz I'm busy and my b-day is on the most hated day of the week. And I'm not really getting any present from my parents cuz my mom told me she'll just take me shopping when she has the day off. Whoop-de-doo.....
