Whats Life After This?

I was planning to focus more on making art such as photomanipulation, webpage designs and of course develop one of my favorite thing to do...writing. The main reason I again came up to this idea/plans is that the fact that I am inspired...thats all.
But being a loser is always a loser. I dont need to mention any further details of me being that one. With that i am planning to leave my account, my internet life and all that stuff. The New beginning
How is Life ?

Prior to what I've been saying lately about my return and plans for myself here at Deviant Art I already makin some moves. Yes, yesterday I started to do some photomanipulation again and I feel that I am wasted making photomanipulation. Sounds sourgraping? Yes I hated myself for stopping doing some manipulations, now its so hard for me to do the same thing without any toturials...but I am trying my best to achieve my goal this year....To have 100 deviation here in Deviant Art, to have a website, to take many photos and upload it here and many others. But for now I'll just do my job one by one and surely as possible. Woooow its been a long time since the last time i wrote something here in my journal. And it is very nice to be back here writing something, telling friends what are the things your are making everytime you get online. How is Life ?

After the first day of school my communication on it had develop until the time that i feel i am one of them already( was refering to the old student in our school even though i was a freshmen). We got to spent lots of time talking while wating for our teachers to come...
I hate by the next day came...wakign early and doing my stuff and going to school early to make me excites my daily life. Got an assignment already and some research work for my other class.. As i reach the school ground a working student who stays in school approaches me and told me that the classes was postponed until next week...tuesday. ohhh upon hearing it i was disappointed...seing my classmate going home and all that thing we would like to do...plus the excited assignment given. thats life..its like a box of chocolate you never know what you gonna get..

How is Life ?

I slowly feeling the excitement of going back to school. Things well arranged, school bags, notebooks, dress and shoes, ballpens and of course my notebook for poetry writing. These past few days i have been dreaming looking back my high school year. And it is awesome to remember how you graduated with distinction, a journalist, an eloquent speaker, hmmm intellectual, a poet, an artist and a ranking student. Those where the days when i was so active in everything. How i wish i could do the same this school year, new school, new people, new teachers and classmate, new friends and enemies, but one thing is still the same, same David to conquer your world. Do i speak too much? hahahah okeys c u laters......

Slowly moving to a native language
How is Life ?

It's been todays since i took up my final exam for my schooling in an aeronautics school here in the city. I couldnt still imagine how i pass from the preliminary examination too final one. I've been number 2 in the prelim but havent seen my score on the final exam...all i know is i was one of the top ten who took the exam. would it not be a reason to make me happy? of course...
In some aspect of my life...ive been busy lately manipulating photos and others. I think as far as i am concerned i had made the most beautiful poetry i ever made...it was an endearment for my special someone(link [link] ). She really inspired me alot nowadays especially on my Artist aspect...she really mean a lot to me... of course nothing compares my happiness with regards to her! that was all my week was. i keep on searching some of nice stocks here to have my new photomanipulation, contest entry and such stuff...hehehe got to end this my precious one query me already! bye see you guys!

Slowly moving to a native language
How is Life ?
By this days you would slowly seen a big changes in my art as well as my poetry. I have realize that as early as possible i would take my time doing such thing considering this past days i am not that busy doings something. The fact that i know in days would come by will be a stressful, and fast one, in short a busy life ahead. The school, the celebrations, the meetings and all that other sutff.
What are the changes you would slowly see? I will be using Tagalog as the title of my art in what i've said preparation for my latest update of my site. Tagalog as far as you know is the official/native language of the Filipino's/people from Philippines which was my native blood. And also the artist sign/signature you would see in a masterpice would "Mikael". Mikael is my second name, and i dont have time either you to share the reason behind it, its my second name, thats all!
What else? as of now some ideas clings in my coconut shell, so better watch out and never cry! hahahaha adieou!

My Busy Life with My Site
How is Life ?
I always been busy this days for just one reason and consequences that came. First I had been grip to the computer for days now finishing my website...nearly finish...i am uploading it now. Anything new? nothing just the fact that i was also busy watching the playoffs of NBA. I had been a fan for years now and basketball is one of my favorite hobby nowadays. If not with basketball i am not suffering from twisted ankle now, but due to joy and happiness you achieve in playing basketball especially playing with relatives and friends makes more exciting.

Unexpected
How is Life ?

She was one of the most beautiful girl that i met personally in my whole life, and i was shock seeing her. She has too cute beautiful eyes, a white complexion, nice skin and above all she's simply adorable. No malice attached.
Her name was Aika, a morning chatter doing her thing askin for Adobe Photoshope Installer, would like to borrow mine, and i dont even had hesitated to let her borrow it. For this is what you call sharing this days. Hahahha She was so pretty i could stand talking straight to her. Even though shes with her boyfriend i play proffesionally, not having any intention of courting her, i just appreciate the beauty of creation.
We met at around 2m and of course your friend was speechless when we started talkin...i dont care what she might think just as long as i admire her. thats all. It simply because she is beautiful... what do you looking at? hehehee dont care... hahahhaa

My Broken Legs...
How is Life ?

I did not come with my relatives to a talk for an excuse of having a wound on my right foot. Not that deep though, i ask them not to go them with that reason, and so they left. With no further adeu i have my freetime doing anything without them.
Then the bad things are here. I was reading a magazine when my cousin ask me to play basketball with them. Even a had a wound it didnt stop me from playing basketball. We lost twice and i am willing to win the last game. The score tied at 3-3 when i drive-into the basket and shoot the ball. The ball was counted but as soon as my left foot fall into the ground i step on my opponent feet and my left foot slides and broke my ankle. I had to be substituted by my brother and fortunately we lost again. Losing 3 games and breaking an ankle was worst day for me.
As i write this journal my foot is lingering me towards pain. whahahha nevermind. It was an accident, but of course it hurts alot.
Changing topic, i had to surf to the web and found out some nice concept for photomanips...thankz to this artist that keep inspiring me!

...until the last minute of April 3 2006 i decided to go back to the school i graduated in Guimaras. This is the school where my younger sister will be graduating, the graduation date April 3 at 1 pm. And i ask my self, "what am i doing here at this moment of time?" i look at my clock its already 9 am and i am not yet ready. The travel time from our house to the school would took a while since i am going to communte via pumpboat for 15 mins and a L300 van for an hour.
I was very excited when i reaches the Guimaras Island, I told my self, "its been a while...." Its been almost a year that i havent back here, I really miss my friends and my relatives, the school itself, the teachers and staffs and of course all that had contributed my one year schooling there.
As soon as i arrived i was looking for a friends house to eat some food, to have my lunch. Its so ironic the most hated clasmate i had last year, is the one offering me to eat on thier house, do i need to disagree? that's food...why not? hahahha
My clock rings...it says 1:00 pm graduation maybe starting and hurry got off from the table and started to pack and go directly to the school. As soon as i step on the school gate my fav teacher approach me...and then past students and friends and even parents who knew me also greeted me. I was so excited to see thier faces slowly coming and go. One teacher from the english department gave me a drink and a cookies. I was invited by my former adviser and now the principal to come up to the office to have some meal. But of course i reject even she insist for my stomach was so full that i couldn't take it anymore. The music sounds and the emcee told us that the program will start anytime soon.
The program started a little bit late but it was nice that i could barely hear the sound, whahahaha. We, me with the group of teacher had a little conversation about the past year and all things that happened when i'm gone. We discuss some important things and some are not. I had to talk to them to fill my emptiness on school.
The Program ended with joy in my heart. SHORTLY BEFORE I GRADUATED FROM college many years ago, a professor said in one of my classes that we, being graduates of the premier state university, could demand no less than that X-amount from our first employer. I left school soon after, no less naïve than four years earlier, believing just that.

It was the first of a series of rude awakenings for me when, landing my first job, I was told my paycheck would only be a third of that amount quoted by my college professor -- before taxes.

I don't presume to know more than any of you, Class of 2006. But I was once like many of you -- full of ideals, full of dreams, so full of myself. You see, while that big great party called school is said to prepare you for the world out there, in some ways it can also teach you grand ideas about yourself -- and more often than not, sage truths. At least I did.

I left school believing I was smart and well-equipped to make the world bend over backward for me. I got a job on my first try even as, I smugly thought, I had no specific training (so, shoot me, Nietzsche, for majoring in philosophy!), no laude of any sort inscribed in my college diploma, no special skills to speak of. I, the worst student in the history of education, with a job, at age 20, in the Inquirer! Darn, was I full of myself!

I felt mighty pleased with myself that I didn't demand higher pay (not that they'd have given me more, of course, I know that now). Never mind that it meant my parents would continue subsidizing my living expenses for till heaven knew when. (I didn't realize then how irresponsible and self-centered that thought was.) Besides, I said, it was a temporary job. It was merely a way out of my over-extended post-grad holiday. I would be out of here in a few months -- again live off my folks, go back to school and get a law degree. Then I'll make real moolah.

TWO years ago, on the eve of our high school graduation, I asked one of my closest friends what course she would take up in college. She told me that she wanted to take up nursing so she could work abroad and earn more for her family. After talking to my other classmates I realized it was a popular sentiment.

The opportunity to work in other countries for better opportunities has truly captivated many of us. Now, everyone wants to pack up and leave, even the highly needed professionals. Nurses, doctors and teachers are trooping to other countries where their service would be better compensated.

Someday, my friend would be among these professionals on exodus.

The decrease in the number of medical personnel and educators in our country has set us on a path to brain drain -- that is, if we are not already experiencing it. Soon, Filipinos might find themselves struggling amidst a dwindling health care and education system.

The facts are alarming. In the past five years, 1,000 private hospitals closed because of a shortage of nurses and doctors. Nurses are in demand abroad, and doctors, in turn, are studying nursing to meet the demand. In 2004 and 2005, 2,347 doctors took the nursing board exams.

Not surprisingly, the doctor to patient ratio in the Philippines is one for every 20,000, double the ratio prescribed by the World Health Organization. The Alliance of Health Workers sees a collapse in our health care system in two years.
Something is also missing in our classrooms. Our teachers now constitute one of the largest groups of professionals who leave the country. Our country is in danger of producing lackluster students because of an impending lack of competent mentors.

But who could blame them? Teachers are paid five or six times higher in Singapore or in the US.

But that is if they remain teachers. Many teachers who go abroad forego their profession to earn more. According to Migrante International, former teachers compose 20 percent of the estimated 160,000 Filipino domestic helpers in Hong Kong, Singapore, and countries in the Middle East. The teacher-to-student ratio in some public schools already ranges from 80 to 100 students per teacher.

With a projected 2.7 percent increase in the number of students each year, the decreasing number of teachers may soon no longer accommodate the growing number of students who see education as their best means for a better life.
Many Filipinos will eventually suffer because of this decline in health and educational manpower. Although it is true that teachers, doctors, and nurses who work abroad help the economy through remittances, they only offer temporary and short-term solutions to our country's problems.

This ongoing trend endangers the welfare of our country's future generations. With a population of 84 million and an annual growth rate of 2.36 %, are we just producing more individuals who will not receive good education and ample health care?

If the Philippines ever dreams of becoming a tiger in Asia as it used to be, the welfare of its present and future generations must not be compromised. To do so, we need our doctors and teachers. Their exodus poses a threat more dangerous than we could imagine.

The government should prioritize this issue if our country is to have a bright future, or if we don't want to see empty hospitals and classrooms anytime soon.

One among millions>

I AM not an economist. Neither am I a great philosopher. I am a Filipino, a Filipino who has her own views about what is happening around us. I look at the papers and watch the news, and I see nothing but moral decay. I shrink into the background and play observer.

I have a very bleak view about many things. No one gives a damn about anything aside from what bothers or pleases him. Everyone is too preoccupied with one's own concerns to even bother to smile. Last week, I dozed off while waiting in a "motorela," a public utility vehicle, and I was rudely awakened when a passenger bumped against me as she tried to keep her balance. I was disturbed to note that the woman across me didn't move an inch so that the other passenger could pass with ease. Even a situation as small as that showed me how we have become so selfish and so obsessed with making our lives less burdensome that we don't think of others anymore.

I know that deep inside us we know the reason for the continuing regression of our country. The reason is ourselves. I hear so many Filipinos, myself included, blaming the President, the corruption in government, and even something as absurd as local superstitions for the peso's fall. Each of us thinks that since we are just one among so many millions we won't make a difference. But what we don't get or simply refuse to see is that we are not the only ones relying on the next person; everyone is. And that adds up to a lot of problems.

Look at me, for example. I used not to give even a thought to anything that didn't concern me directly. I was selfish and self-centered (and maybe I still am). There was this veil that kept me from seeing reality, a veil that also protected me against the imperfect world that wasn't mine. I had wrong ideas about generosity and love. I thought giving away a few coins to a beggar was proof enough of my kindness. How wrong could you get?

No one would really care to listen if I say I want to make a difference in this world. That is such a cliché. But I will say it anyway: I want to make a difference.

Now I must confess that sitting inside a restaurant, chatting with friends while picking on my food doesn't feel like so much fun when I look out the window and notice a bunch of haggard-looking street children outside, begging for loose change so that they can buy their next meal. I want to stop criticizing the President and start having faith in our government officials again. I want to smile sincerely at passersby and to feel my heart lift when they return the smile. I want to hear more words of thanksgiving than complaints about having been cheated by the driver, the saleslady or the government official. And remain hopeful that all these wishes will become true someday. Then I will have proved that one Filipino among so many millions does matter.

EVERYONE seeks strength in its different forms-physical and internal. As we go through life, we realize our need for strength. Gaining physical strength is easy, but finding internal strength is another matter.

Expectations

Sometimes, we feel our world fall apart when a huge burden lands on our shoulder. However, when expectations increase, we find it hard to cope.

The fact is, when you try to find strength or shelter from an ordinary living entity, you're bound to have great difficulty. You think, "Here's one person I can give my heart to-he's my shelter and security." Pretty soon, misery follows. And even stalwart warriors break down and crumble.

There's nothing wrong with failing and falling down because it's necessary for us to know what our weaknesses are. But, we should not rely on insignificant living entities to give us strength.

Unlimited source

Where do we find strength? There is an unlimited source of
strength-and power: The Supreme Powerful is the ultimate origin of strength, because He is our spiritual foundation.

As long as you stay connected to Him, you won't be overburdened. This connection will inspire you to reach out to others and help them find their way to the Supreme Being.

Saintly persons draw inner strength from the Supreme Powerful. Through difficulties and obstacles, they manifest compassion, humility, patience and tolerance-and, along the way, they find peace and satisfaction.

SOMEONE ALWAYS USED to remind me that you have to do what you can, with what you have, where you are. Filipinos out here are extremely good at doing this, all the while keeping their dignity despite hardships in their lives while in a foreign land. Of course most OFWs are concerned with more serious issues that have little to do with figuring out how to recreate home stuff through the arts and crafts, but, we might learn a little something from their resourcefulness and abilidad!

To think we're from a place where if you can afford something basic like eat 3 full meals a day, then you are already considered lucky, sometimes we just need to calm down on the wanting and the buying, and feeling guilty for not having the latest version of something. Yes I'm quite aware that this is coming from a product endorser, but, in the end, we just really do not have to have it all! Okay, for some I should at least say… we don't need to have it all, ALL the time! Tsk tsk! Make use of what you already have, reinvent it, and feel good about it! Here are 10 happy ways to reuse things around the house 'cos the second time can surely be sweeter! Have fun!

Eyeglass frames

If you have kid sisters or brothers who have outgrown old but super fun children's sunglasses, you don't need to throw them out or give them away just yet. If they've lost the glass lenses, then even better, because you can use the lens parts of the eye glass frame as picture frames for close up shots or wideshots of nice views from places you've been to. Colors like hot pink or red, for example, work well with glossy black and white photos.

CDs

Scrap CDs can be strung together with nylon strings and hung up as retro curtains. Others use beads, while others use old CDs-mostly CDs that contained documents and word files instead of something sacred like music. You can ask your colleagues or someone who works in an office to compile old CD-ROMs for you. The most interesting part is when the sun reflects on the discs and bounces onto your walls like bubbles. The first time I saw the effect it reminded me of how I would play with the "dancing bubbles" reflecting on airplane seats while light from the windows bounced off my lolo's watch. Kids could have fun with this!

Earrings

When funky earrings go out of style and you would hate to throw them away, you can turn them into table napkin rings! Just remove the backs with pliers, hot-glue them onto a cord and tie them into a circle to form the rings. They will make table settings look special even when using cheap paper napkins.

'Bayongs' and baskets

Medium-sized fruit baskets or little bayongs mounted on the wall or resting on a desk can make for a cute, functional, contained spot for invitations, notes, pictures, bills, incoming and outgoing letters, catalogues, or magazines. You can mount the baskets up on the wall, one on top of the other or in a row, about four inches apart, using nails and screws. You can sew things into them for a subtle personal touch, too. Just make hand-written or computerized labels that you can attach to the baskets with masking tapes ("Bills," "Mail," "Sketch Designs," "Ideas," "Don't Forget," etc.). For younger sisters and brothers, you can hit two birds with one stone: Have bonding time fun and motivate them to do homework, too. Ask them to help you paint the baskets, or color the labels for them, then show them their new homework in-box! I'm sure my sister would enjoy doing her super cool preschool homework if she sees it popping out of a big, red, ladybug!

Magazines

Speaking of magazines, my mother and I can (ridiculously) fill up a whole attic with just old beauty and teen magazines alone. If you are like us, then it might be a good idea to spend one whole day sorting out the articles you still find useful, putting them into clear folders or plastic portfolios, and then separating the parts of the magazines you won't read anymore. Once you've done that, you can send them to Samahan ng Muling Pagkabuhay Multipurpose Cooperative (+63 2 727-0681) to make woven paper boxes and creations that you can use for gifts, gatherings, or give-aways for events. Three years ago, for my debut giveaways, we sent them the stacks of old magazines that ranged from the 1980s black and white prints in English to the neon pop colors you find in Japanese mags of the year 2000. 3. "I need real love and attention. Please satisfy me." We desire deep and unconditional love. No one can satisfy the
soul's insatiable craving for love and attention except the Supreme Beloved.

We are empty cups seeking to be filled by other empty cups. We give our hearts to next-door crushes, movie idols, imaginary dream partners. We beg love from other beggars!

Unconditional

Seek love from the overflowing source of unconditional and eternal love: the Supreme Being. Only He can satisfy our need to be fully loved. From this foremost relationship, our love naturally expands to all of God's children.

Without illusions, there will be no frustrations.

I HAD every intention of writing a review after I saw Studio 23's "Brokeback Mountain" premiere last week, but it's hard to write a review when you don't have an opinion. I had nothing to say (an event that occurs less often than a leap year), and my attempt produced a grand total of two three-sentence paragraphs.

When the lights went up in the theater, I turned to my friend Neeks, the girl who has her books catalogued in her laptop, who thinks Nietzsche's theories are common conversation fare, and who can argue the social significance of a piece of cheese.

"So," I asked, "Did you like it?"

"Uh. I was hoping you had an opinion, so I could agree with you."

The next morning, I still had nothing to say.

According to Aristotle, the purpose of drama is to arouse in the audience feelings of pity and fear, then purge these feelings. Watching "Brokeback Mountain" was like watching the Twin Towers burning—you know it's tragic, but you can't help but watch. In the

end, I felt—sappy as it sounds—empty but exhilarated. Aristotle would have been proud of Ang Lee.

Their story is an old one-one where two improbable people meet, fall in love and find out they can never be together. Based on the short story by Annie Proulx, "Brokeback Mountain" is a love story. The fact that the lovers involved are two rifle-toting cowboys herding sheep in the wilds of Wyoming makes it no less a love story.

There have been dozens of stories of forbidden love that have graced the silver screen. Romeo and Juliet were star-crossed lovers separated by an "ancient grudge." Class discrimination provides the conflict in classics like "My Fair Lady," "Rebel Without a Cause," "Titanic," "Grease" and "Pretty Woman."

Today's times provides "Brokeback Mountain" a modern context for forbidden love, through one of the last bastions of social discrimination: homosexuality. The bigotry is just as alive today as it was in 1950s Wyoming, sometimes emanating from the pulpit, sometimes egged on by mockery, other times as a way to boost male machismo. "Brokeback Mountain" is the first mainstream homosexual movie that does not poke fun at gay culture.

Ennis del Mar (Heath Ledger) is the strong, silent type, a man who shows little and says much less. Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) is the ambitious, outgoing dreamer who dreams of becoming a rodeo champion. They are sent up to Brokeback Mountain, in charge of a thousand sheep. One cold night, too cold for Ennis to watch over the sheep, the attraction that involved no more than a few smiles and snatched looks exploded into a fiery (and strangely macho) sex scene. I won't deny I wasn't shocked, because I was. The scene had half the audience turning away and squirming uncomfortably, but I had to watch. There was something gripping about the rawness and resistance, the intense masculinity coupled with tenderness.

Ennis marries Alma, played beautifully by Michelle Williams of "Dawson's Creek" fame. They have two children, and scrape along trying to make both ends meet. Jack marries Lureen (Anne Hathaway of "Princess Diaries"), if not for her looks and personality, at least, for her rich daddy's money.

Four years later, Jack returns, and their meeting is simply what it is: long-lost lovers finally able to look, to see, to touch. In Annie Proulx's short story, they "seized each other and hugged mightily," and then they kissed, "as easily as the right key turns the lock tumblers." And in the story as well as in the movie, the door opens, and Alma sees her husband locking lips with the cowboy he later calls his "fishin' buddy."

Only once, at the very beginning, does Jack venture to talk about his dreams. "If you and me had a little ranch together, little cow and calf operation...it'd be some sweet life." Ennis' "no" puts an end to it. Society will never allow it. "I goddamn hate it that you're going to drive home in the morning and I'm goin' back to work. But if you can't fix it you gotta stand it."

And so they stand it. The movie tracks 20 years in the lives of Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, 20 years of "fishing trips" and "hunting trips," and the long, long waits in between.

It's a movie that moves slowly and will have you so drained by the end that there is no room for tears. The acting is subtle, sincere and superb. There's a lot of silences, little dialogue and a wealth of emotions in a single look. Happy You Year

Note: I still havent finish my web Page... sorry for that!
IT was my first time in many years to have stayed in Manila for the holidays. I had been traveling quite a lot this past year and wanted to stay put, for once.

The past few years, I have found solace in spending my time waiting for the first sunrise of the year in the shores of Boracay. I know a lot of people are still “stranded” on the island as we speak. Don’t worry, for I shall follow in due time.

I made sure to stay in my hometown called Embassy to witness the countdown to 2006. It was to be held at the club, but at 11 p.m., I thought of my puppy Super and realized that fireworks make her shiver. I didn’t want her to be alone, so, like a guilty parent who showers his kids with gifts, I chose to spend the year’s turning point in her company.

I brought her to my dressing room and turned the air-con up so she would not hear the firecrackers. My flat is sandwiched between Greenhills and Wack Wack, so you can just imagine the pomp and pageantry of the lights in the sky.


It was World Pyro Olympics all over again. Okay, maybe just Inter-village Pyro fest.

Jam-packed

There were over 20 New Year’s happenings all over the city. Mezze had their M list party, Luce had Cosmo editor Ianne Evangelista spinning with the scene’s hottest DJs, Fiamma and Citrus had their own parties as well. Every place was packed. I left Embassy to head over to an after-party at 6 a.m. and there was still a line outside! (And lines inside, too.)

The hands down winners of the night were the Cadness sisters and company, who were all decked out as “washed-out disco queens” in full regalia, boas, net stockings and attitude galore. Ornusa, the scene’s “Anti-It” chick, wore a shirt that she painted with the words “We are getting older.” Speak for yourself, girl.

I know of some parents who went home at 8 a.m. after partying on New Year’s Day, woke up their kids, and cooked breakfast for them, too! Now how’s that for smart parenting? But that’s for another section of this paper.

At Embassy Cuisine, I spotted these two blonde Russian chicks by the bar and offered them some drinks. (I really have an affinity with blonde Russians.) Later, I took them to the VIP room where we had more drinks. Then we went dirty dancing, and one of them said, “Let’s go to your flat,” while grabbing my crotch.

Okay, before this gets erotic (we are a child-friendly newspaper after all), I had to run to the bar and get more drinks—for myself. I’ve never been harassed really. I’m always the predator, never the prey. Oh, well, everything happens at least once. What a way to start the year.

Perfect setting

The midnight before that, I made sure everything would fall right into place. To start my year in a perfectly chillaxed setting, I lit my Cereo candles and filled the room with a lemongrass scent, made a L’Occitane bubble bath of creamy foam and lathered myself with soap. And then I soaked myself in the tub, rested my head and sniffed the air. It smelled of... dog poop.

When I looked around, true enough the culprit was my cute little monster, smiling with her head down, knowing she had just done something naughty. I couldn’t get mad at her because she did the right thing, just at the wrong time. Plus, she was too cute in her Kate Torralba outfit. I just picked up her droppings and flushed them down the toilet. Shit happens but, oh well, that’s love.

Speaking of love, it was quite easy to fall under Cupid’s spell this past holiday season. Even if there were no mistletoes around, people were just in a jolly and festive mood to fall in love, lust or whatever.

We just have to make sure it’s really Cupid, and not Bacchus, who shoots the arrow (Ouch!). It might just be the champagne. Or the gin… bulag. Or the lechon. Or whatever.

It is so easy to fall in love. Who doesn’t want to? But sometimes we have to make a decision between what is right and what is easy. Restraint can sometimes play devil’s advocate. Even when we just want to indulge, the devil can become our angel, guarding us against possible danger.

New start or not, we still have to do things, make little reality checks no matter how much we like to romanticize things.

For now, I have a puppy to take care of, and some more poop to pick up. Have a great year ahead, dear partyphiles.

This was the first time i had to change my plans with regard of building a website. I hate to tell you this but i had too, i will make my site coincide with gold, hope you would love it. Many people doesnt like the color gold as much as i do.They even dont know how to appreciate this color. I was inspired of using it because one day as i was surfing the net, my brother who always play reincarnation(some sort of archmage) i notice of how nice the color gold is used as a font color to that site. The black and gold combination was a rocking things. And of course i wanted to learn more about gold. I had to research about its ore and many more. hope in thru my website many would appreciate it.

Death of our Patriarch



Its been awhile since the last time a wrote here in my journal. Many things had been postponed due to some shocking news i had recieved weeks back. And before we knew it he was gone upon us. Its been a sad days losing one of our family member, especially our grandfather whos was very close to us when he was still strong.
But beforehand telling the whole story, give me a chance to apologize to what i had promise and not doing it because of that thing that happened to our family, 1st i promise to make a website which eventually never done any single thing, The photomanipulations, the journal, and of course my project about the top dA ladies that capture my attention. I am definitly sorry.
Thursday 12th day of January, having our ussual day, at morning sipping our coffee, busy cleaning our house, washing clothes, go to work, and almost our ussual routine over the past days. Afternoon came, what to be not so unexpected thing to be happen, our grandpa was ready to rest. We already knew it, aging 86 he hard barely taken a deep breathe(but still no sign of struggling). Until two of his son and daughter try to clean him up. Then suddenly at around 2 pm they notice after a deep breathe he slowly loses his breathe, and all signs of living are gone. We knew he would have gone but still we brought him to the hospital to confirm. We knew he couldn't make it. And as soon as we got the confirmation we called up his children informing he was dead.
A day after the body was already brought home, some children came home, the house was prepared for the wake and all stuff eed to be settled. It was so emotional everything a child came home to look for thier father. Not just the children but also the close relative and anyone who knew my grandpa. Lets have a brief history about him.
Jose Taclino more known to be "Tay Jose" was born here in this area where i still live on. He was one of the first decendants of this area. He was a good man, aside from good looking many traits could be portrayed to him such as modesty, respectful and respected, mildness, enthusiast, and many more. He was very known here especially to the older ones. He was one of the most trusted person and being close to God he was very friendly to his nieghborhood.
Wake lasted for a week and so we are all tired of taking resposibility watching the visitors. In some cases we had dont have enough time to sleep. We would sleep for around 2 to 3 hours.
Its been tiring days but still we grief to the lost of our dearest patriarch. Until the day of the burial sadness fills the air. On the burial day itself many people cried. We would miss him but we are happy he done his part. Proving to be wise son in our Creators eye.

I was pondering around the site when a magnificent idea came up to my coconut shell saying "why dont i make a list of my perosnal view of who are those beautiful women here in deviant art?". Was i shocked of that idea? of course how the heck i just think of it nowadays. better late then never isn't it? whahhaha so why take time and slowly drift the idea to my heart.
Of course i know it would make me busy again to surf in the site, locate the beauties that sorround us all. Of course i have plenty of women now clingin in my mind, for example and many many more!

A Momma Chicken


A brother from Davao City visited us here and when are given the chance to feed them them with meals. And every time the meal ended, the dishes is clean already, the table was arranged, thats the time we have a small sometimes big conversation with our brothers and sisters.
This brother knew so many things that when he started to open his mouth you would hear such wonderful this from his heart and mind. One time at our breakfast on my grandparents house, he started talking about this chicken and gays. Many proffesional doctors started thinking why many youth nowadays turned into gays. As being studied by a food nutritionist it stated that this 45 days kind of chicken was being injected with estrogen to produce a large amount of chicks that will be breed into hens, to produce more meat.
He ask as if anyone had the hobby to eat in the fastfood chain because this are the area with many chiken injected with estrogen. That is why many youth, especially boys who always eat in a fast foood chain turns to gay.
He added that it is just better that when you are only influenced gay rather than hormonal gay.
I come to think of it and it really ponder me at all...

It was in the same store which i borrowed the movie " Mist of Avalon ". i found the movie Merlin and Elizabeth and of course with out any time being waste I did my thing...borrowed the cd and then watch it overnight. Though I havent seen the Elizabeth yet...It was a three hour marathon watching the movie Merlin. As I what keep on saying from the last journal that i post with regard to the movie Mist of Avalon, I hate to see long movies, but this time I notice I wasn't able to get bored. So as i what always do, i am doing my movie review. Here it goes:

My Movie Review for the film Merlin

The movie started with some small introduction as what the viewer should expect to this kind of movies...the elves, fairy, griffin, witch, dragon, knight, magic and all of that stuff. The narrator was merlin himself, he was so old enough doing this for a living, he narrates and give the story and in the end the poeple listening to him gave money for him. The story started when the people from northern part of England started to conquer the country and start spreading thier religion(as we all know old ways/pagan ways was the first religion on this area of England. The high preistess Mob do some magical thing just to revive the religion and culture and to preserve it. So she plan to create a creature, half man, half of her, which was born thru the human and be called merlin.
At first Mob wants the she would watch merlin but she can't gave merlin a good life if she would watch it(Merlin's mother was killed by Mob on his birth) so his aunt Ambrosia look for him as he grow old. The first magic merlin did was to save her love one from drowing to the swamp. He shouted so hard to the branch of the tree to grow the he could save her precious love and so the branch did grow. That was the first time Merlin did magic. And as soon as he discovered it he was amaze and her aunt told the real story of her life.
Upon knowing who he really was, he immediately go to Mob and do his training to be a good wizard. Because of having a human blood, Merlin easily ask to leave the place and go hime to her mother Ambrosia. Before he came home Mob came first to the house of ambrosia and killed her. By this time merlin did home and seen the really story and so he acted rebeliously to Mob and begin to go away from here. As the story develops the story of King Arthur, and other character also develop. If you had watch the Mist of Avalon it would look like that...but there are some changes on thier part.
the Last part of it was so beautiful, after the sotry of merlin to the people who sorrounds him an old friend came and told about her love that she was still alive..it is indeed a happy ending. You should see the movie

Fourth of July Word Origins
Independence Day or Fourth of July is the annual celebration of the United States' "birthday," the date of the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. The first celebrations included bell ringing, bonfires, processions, and speeches. In some towns, these celebrations also had a mock funeral for the king, symbolizing the end of America's rule by the British monarchy. It was not until 1941, however, that Congress officially established the Fourth of July as a legal holiday. The date could easily have been July 2, the day on which the Continental Congress approved a resolution for independence, or August 2, the day on which the members of Congress actually signed the document. But it was on July 4 that the final text of the Declaration, which had been drafted by Thomas Jefferson, was ratified. By 1788, the Fourth of July also commemorated the U.S. Constitution as well, which had recently been approved by ten states.
Feasting has always been part of Fourth of July celebrations. In the beginning there were banquets, but this has evolved into outdoor barbecues and picnics. Barbecue was originally a word for a wooden framework for sleeping or for drying or storing meat or fish. The word derives from Arawak or Haitian or Taina barbacoa and became Spanish barbacoa, "wooden frame on posts" or "framework for meat over fire." Barbeque is the variant spelling. In English, the word's first meanings were the framework and the animal roasted on it; the usage of "social entertainment" is not recorded until 1733. Picnic is from French pique-nique, but that word's origin is unknown. Picnics started out as social occasions (the word first recorded in English in 1748) to which each participant brought comestibles.
The bald eagle (also called the American or white-headed eagle, Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is the national bird of the United States and one of the largest birds in the world. "Bald" in this instance means "white," not "hairless." Eagle comes from the Latin word aquila, "black eagle," from aquilus, "dark-colored," which it is until it gets the white head plumage as an adult. The word firecracker refers to those that make loud sounds and sparklers are those that send off a shower of sparks. The very first Fourth of July celebrations in 1777 included fireworks as a part of the festivities.
A flag as a piece of cloth used as a standard, signal, or symbol in English dates to the late 15th century. The word may be an onomatopoeic representation for such a cloth flapping in the wind, but the origin remains obscured. As far as the American flag goes, there are many theories about its origin, with the story of Betsy Ross being the most famous.
The first Fourth of July parade took place on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. when President John Quincy Adams led a boat procession up the river. Parade comes from a French word meaning "a showing" or "action of stopping a horse," originating from Latin parare, "to prepare."
