In celebration of Halloween this 2009, Salzburg, Austria has given Dark Fantasy Farms permission to host a parade through town of HARPG's horses!

To participate, simply draw a side view of your favorite horse(s). You can even draw more than one horse on the same page. Please leave backgrounds blank. Halloween colored horses (black n orange) dont have to have costumes on them, etc. Horses that are not black n orange, do not have to wear elaborate costumes but you can draw them simply carrying a jack o lantern trick o treat bucket. Kaneon, my schrei, is wearing a necktie with candy corns!

Every participant will receive a drawing of participant rosette (ribbon). It will have a headshot of your horse in the middle with their name and farm on the ribbon. The ribbon will also have the event and will be black n orange.

If you wish to participate comment here and draw your lovely horses! Applications to the parade will close Oct. 29th at midnight, so I will have Oct. 30th to put together the file for the 31st.

You're bound to love it! Look forward to see your animals in our parade!

PS. It doesnt have to be just horses! Any other animals in your farm, dogs, cats, whatever, can be in the parade as well!

We have an amazing turn out this year even on such short notice. Thank you all for participating, I will have the parade posted, pray to god, tomorrow. I am sorry for the lag in response but I'm quite overwhelmed at the minute. We do have a few stragglers, they know who they are for we've already talked. Please note me as soon as you have it up.

I am so excited to present you, after eight years of development and thought, the Schreitiere. Please respect the guidlines for the breed and the fact that these animals specifically were created out of my mind and that I would love to have my following artists make their own lupa or stud to breed to this new species.

I ask that you please respect the guidelines if you choose to create your own Schreitier and that you credit the species to its creator, myself, including a link back to this journal so others may create one if inspired by your creation. I love to see what kind of creatures you create out of inspiration of this species so please, note me with your own Schreitier so I can add it to the Schreitier Registry!

~Application Guide~

Make sure you read this guide. Thouroughly.

STEP-BY-STEP

#1. Have a look at the journal info [link] and decide if you like the breed. If you do, draw your own Schreitiere once you've got a hang of the general breed idea.

#2. Very rarely I will allow you to create a male first. I ask that a female be created first and then breed to the lupes in the original list of the registry. This is to control the growth of the Schrei and to help me monitor the creations. I have rumors that there are artists stealing my idea and not giving credit or registering. Please ASK before creating a Schrei that is like my Zak, [link] I want his build to be rare.

#3. I would like for you to send me a link to your creation, either in a note, or in a comment on this journal. Any links posted on my front page will be ignored and hidden. If you choose not to give me a chance to see and register your new creation, your character will not be considered a "real" Schreitiere. It will merely be a copy and I do not appreciate people discrediting my person creations. I've been working on everything down to the last detail about them for years. I have a right to be a bitch and picky about it but that does not mean I will be unfair. And those that violate this even after I ask them to please register the creature will be put on a Banned List on this registry.

#4. There will possibly be cases where I will refuse to register your design. I will of course inform you of the reason as to why it was rejected.
