Mas de volta ao importante. Os concertos. David Fonseca. Muito interessante .. Um verdadeiro one show men.. Por mais masoquista que fosse a minha opÃ§Ã£o de ter ido lÃ¡ neste dia.. Especialmente no dia em que tinha David e Jorge Palma.. mas pronto..

Para mim o momento alto da noite foi quando ele tocou this raging light.. O raio da musica continua a despertar todos os meus sentidos.. e o cÃ©rebro acelera a 400% e Ã© sÃ³ imagens e palavras e vontades a virem ao de cima.. como nÃ£o se pode ter tudo..
No reportÃ³rio alem das musicas mais conhecidas a solo dele ainda tivemos a sorte de ouvir a video killed the radio star e duas musicas do tempo dos silence 4 embora uma fosse metida pelo meio da Video killed the radio star.. o que foi engraÃ§ado...

Bem .. Jorge Palma foi o que mais achei piada nao tanto por ele mas sim pela falta de conhecimento das pessoas..
Eu ate compreendo que ele nao seja para todo o ouvido.. Mas o engraÃ§ado Ã© quando as pessoas pensam que as musicas dele se resumem Ã aborrecida musica do Encosta-te a mim .. AHHH Como eu odeio essa mÃºsica Â
Como de costume ele apareceu no palco completamente "alegre"..

o que normalmente significa um bom concerto.. e foi um bom concerto, isto para quem conhece Jorge palma a mais de 6 meses.. Cantou as clÃ¡ssicas como elas devem ser cantadas ao piano.. e novas como elas sÃ£o ... no fim foi um concerto ó

timo.. Ainda ando a cantarolar.. SÃ³

E os movies

Em outras coisas fantÃ¡sticas que fui ver.. o novo filme do Iron Man.. Eu nao sou grande fÃ£ do iron man isto falando de Bd, especialmente agora.. afinal de contas o homem matou o capitÃ£o AmÃ©rica.. lol..
Mas o filme.. bem o filme isso esta um espectÃ¡culo visual daqueles.. NÃ£o que seja uma coisa tipo LOTR em que as paisagens sao de tirar o fÃ´lego.. No IronMan temos mais um daqueles filmes em que a marvel nÃ£o faz a asneira de deixar o realizador solto.. Aqui nao, muito pelo contrario.. All by the book.. Ou melhor, all by the comic.. Tirando um pormenor ou outro como o jarvis.. e a rapidez de mudanÃ§a de fatos.. o filme esta espectacular.. e abre uma serie de premissas como o War machine, o Mandarim e no fim depois de todas a letrinhas temos o Samuel l Jackson a fazer de Nick Fury e a fazer a premissa para o filme dos Avengers. ( jÃ¡ me babo so de pensar que vao juntar um punhado de superherois.. estou curioso sera que vao escolher os avengers classicos ou os modernos.. ver o Thor o Iron Man o Captain America ... ou sera que ainda vao meter o mais modernos com o Spider man o Wolverine.. lol.. Melhor parar de pensar.. )

Uma pena o Ledger ter ido desta para melhor cada vez acho que o homem fez o papel da vida dele ( cowboys em cenas de sexo nao conta.. ) Para mim Ã© mais um brandon Lee.. Mas pronto..

e a musica hmmmm

Como jÃ¡ vem ser habito e sem saber bem porque consegui mais uma vez a porra de uma copia do novo Ã¡lbum dos Moonspell.. Deve ser karma desta vez 1 mes antes. lol..
O que dizer. Para mim esta excelente. mas excelente mesmo.. Muito melhor que o memorial.. Mas 20 vezes melhor. Mais variedade e menos barulho. Tem mais daquilo que sempre me agradou naquela banda. Sta Maria da Feira Repetition

Last week me and my other half went to the Medieval Fair in Sta Maria da Feira..
She Liked it very much, it was her first time there.. It was all new to her..

To me .. Well it was all the same of the last year, besides the fact that i was with her, the rest was pretty boring..

Everything was the same, everything in the same place and all the same shows, the only thing that changed was the prices and the size of the cups, that where smaller.. lol

Less product higher prices.. The Portuguese Way..

The only good thing was the parking system.. the rest was all same of the old stuff...

Has some of you may have noticed i started a series of photos, Invictus Light..
Well the idea was getting in Oporto , making a series of photos and getting out as fast as i could..
Well 2 hours of shooting the results are coming out everyday...

The Third Element

Everything is still ok..

My sister is now showing some tummy wich is kind of funny since she was always thin as pop stickle..

Just Got this beauty today, the new Korn Album, this one i kind of liked it. I wasn't very happy with the last ones.. this one on the other hand has everything i like about them..

I bought my triple DVD of Bruce Dickinson, this is one amazing dvd all is solo works.. i have been watching this lately..

In between i have been reading the harry potter book.. its good, different from all the others, and that is a good thing...
Its a journey much like a Tolkien book..

The Third Element

So its this the joy of having a small thing in our lifes...

Today my sister did her first "eco" finally we where able to see the new element..
He or she will be my Godchild.. So lately I'm in the mood for all that is related with babies and stuff..

It's really funny all the buzz around the pregnancy, we are all trying to help my sister out, she needs all the help that she can get..

I think i never went so much to doctor in such a short time..

And This small thing with about 6 cm is the reason of all the happiness in my life..

Lately we are beating, in if it is a Girl or a Boy.. I hope its a Girl.. "Margarida"
Girls are Fun, and if she gets the smarts and looks from her mother she will be a something to look for.. And i will be there to teach her everything that there is to know about Geograpfy.. lol..

Gothic Kabbalah is a title of Therion's album released in January 12, 2007 in Europe and scheduled to be released in February 6, 2007 in United States. This double album was produced by Stefan Glaumann who already contributed with many popular bands including Rammstein, Evergrey, Europe and Def Leppard. The main line-up has been slightly changed since previous studio albums (Lemuria and Sirius B). Petter Karlsson returned to play drums for Therion again drummer, having already played with the band during Lemuria / Sirius B tour during the period of 20042006. The second change was with-in vocal line-up. Since Christofer Johnsson announced in 2006 he is retiring from singing, the band had to find a new singer. Vocals on Gothic Kabbalah were again performed by Mats Levén, as well as Snowy Shaw and two opera female singers: Katarina Lilja and Hannah Holgersson

Therion

Therion is a swedish symphonic / orchestral / operatic metal band that started out as a death metal band. The band's name is taken from the Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion. However, the name itself originates from the Greek word therion (Î¸Î·ÏÎ¯Î¿ν

, which means beast, in reference to the "beast" of the Christian Book of Revelation. Therion was founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. Beginning as a death metal band, they later turned to combining orchestral elements with their metal music, employing heavy use of choirs and classical musicians, not only as additions to but also as integral parts of the composition.

Therion's music takes its themes from different mythologies and is based on concepts ranging from occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings. The majority of their lyrics are written by Thomas Karlsson, head and founder of the magical order Dragon Rouge, of which Johnsson is a member. The band has seen many changes in line-up and style throughout its history.

1. The Photograph That Raised the Photojournalistic Stakes:
"Omaha Beach, Normandy, France"
Robert Capa, 1944

"If your pictures arent good enough," war photographer Robert Capa used to say, "you arent close enough." Words to die by, yes, but the man knew of what he spoke. After all, his most memorable shots were taken on the morning of D-Day, June 6, 1944, when he landed alongside the first waves of infantry at Omaha Beach.

Caught under heavy fire, Capa dove for what little cover he could find, then shot all the film in his camera, and got out - just barely. He escaped with his life, but not much else. Of the four rolls of film Capa took of the horrific D-Day battle, all but 11 exposures were ruined by an overeager lab assistant, who melted the film in his rush to develop it. (He was trying to meet the deadline for the next issue of Life magazine.)

In an ironic twist, however, that same mistake gave the few surviving exposures their famously surreal look ("slightly out of focus," Life incorrectly explained upon printing them). More than 50 years later, director Steven Spielberg would go to great lengths to reproduce the look of that "error" for his harrowing D-Day landing sequence in "Saving Private Ryan," even stripping the coating from his camera lenses to echo Capas notorious shots.

2. The Photograph That Gave a Face to the Great Depression
"Migrant Mother"
Dorothea Lange, 1936

As era-defining photographs go, "Migrant Mother" pretty much takes the cake. For many, Florence Owens Thompson is the face of the Great Depression, thanks to legendary shutterbug Dorothea Lange. Lange captured the image while visiting a dusty California pea-pickers camp in February 1936, and in doing so, captured the resilience of a proud nation facing desperate times.

Unbelievably, Thompsons story is as compelling as her portrait. Just 32 years old when Lange approached her ("as if drawn by a magnet," Lange said). Thompson was a mother of seven whod lost her husband to tuberculosis. Stranded at a migratory labor farm in Nipomo, Calif. her family sustained themselves on birds killed by her kids and vegetables taken from a nearby field - as meager a living as any earned by the other 2,500 workers there. The photos impact was staggering. Reproduced in newspapers everywhere, Thompsons haunted face triggered an immediate public outcry, quickly prompting politicos from the federal Resettlement Administration to send food and supplies. Sadly, however, Thompson and her family had already moved on, receiving nary a wedge of government cheese for their high-profile misery. In fact, no one knew the identity of the photographed woman until Thompson revealed herself years later in a 1976 newspaper article.

3. The Photograph That Brought the Battlefield Home
"Federal Dead on the Field of Battle of First Day, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania"
Mathew Brady, 1863

As one of the worlds first war photographers, Mathew Brady didnt start
out having as action-packed a career as you might think. A successful daguerreotypist and a distinguished gentleman, Brady was known for his portraits of notable people such as Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee. In other words, he was hardly a photojournalist in the trenches.

In fact, Brady had everything to lose by making a career move - his money, his business, and quite possibly his life. Nevertheless, he decided to risk it all and follow the Union Army into battle with his camera, saying, "A spirit in my feet said, Go!" And go he did - at least until he got a good look at the pointy end of a Confederate bayonet.

After narrowly escaping capture at the first Battle of Bull Run, Bradys chatty feet quieted down a bit, and he began sending assistants in his place. In the span of only a few years, Brady and his team shot more than 7,000 photographs - an astounding number when you consider that developing a single plate required a horse-drawn-wagon-full of cumbersome equipment and noxious chemicals. Not exactly what youd call "point-and-shoot."

O Gestos fechou e com ele uma parte de mim desapareceu, foram dez anos a frequentar uma casa que muitas vezes apelidei de "a casa da minha avó", onde comia o meu chocolate quente a olhar para a Sé do Porto nos dias Frios de Inverno ... Kalu, sócio do Hard Club, não nega os problemas económicos do emblemático bar e confirmou a abertura de um novo espaço em Gaia, faltando apenas ultimar alguns pormenores.
O Hard Club de Gaia deverá ser encerrado até ao final do ano. A notícia avançada este fim-de-semana no Correio da Manhã (CM) refere que o emblemático espaço há muito que vem acumulando dívidas. Fontes citadas pelo matutino antecipam mesmo a possibilidade de o bar ser vendido a particulares, para abrir um restaurante de luxo.

Pelo Hard Club, do qual Kalu dos Xutos & Pontapés é sócio, passaram alguns dos nomes mais consagrados da música nacional e internacional. Ainda assim, foram oito anos algo conturbados devido não só às dificuldades económicas, mas também às alegadas tensões com a autarquia.

Ao CM, o baterista dos Xutos confirmou que será aberto outro espaço na mesma cidade, faltando apenas «limar algumas arestas», antes que o negócio siga em frente.

Temos sido confrontados nas últimas semanas com notícias, a que se tem dado pouco relevo, contraditórias mas muito preocupantes, sobre o futuro do CPF, podendo existir o perigo real desta instituição ser esvaziada de conteúdo até vir a ser extinta.

Preocupados um grupo de fotógrafos solicita a mobilização de todos os fotógrafos e de toda a gente que gosta de fotografia, para se concentrarem no CPF Cadeia da Relação no dia 3 de Junho, sábado, às 15 horas, com as suas máquinas fotográficas, para simbolicamente fotografarmos todos o CPF por dentro e por fora. Se conseguirem extinguir o CPF haverá um registo, uma prova em negativo ou em digital, uma marca nos corações de todos nós, do crime cometido e da instituição destruída pelo MC.

Durante a concentração discutiremos como continuar o protesto, nomeadamente utilizando o material fotográfico resultante da nossa acção.

Just ended a series of events, where i made some money seeling Photos.

Finaly learned out to clean my camera ccd's ( this one made me sweet)

Already have the new Moonspell album ( this one will shock a lot of people

Working on a new professional Project..
