Because of this I've decided to start again.
I need to get back into the habit of regularly updating my gallery, even my journal, and commenting and faving more.
Yet, as I've got so increasingly lazy on this account, I'm starting again completely.
I now have a new account, a link to which may be posted in this journal in months to come. If you are one of the few people I speak to on msn as well, I will tell you the name of my new account when I next speak to you. If you aren't and you do want to know the name of my new account, you can ask me in a note and I may considering telling you what it is, but for now I would like the start with a completely clean slate and get back into the hang of being more active without being followed by everyone who watches me already.

No more new art will be submitted on this account from now on. I will however still be active on this account in the way of checking messages and such as I am waiting to hear from a few people regarding various things.

Tomorrow (Friday) I will officially be 17 =D
And for the second time ever, I'm at school on my birthday. Pfft what?! :XD:
Normally it's in the half term holiday so tomorrow could be fun. My friends have no excuse to forget my birthday this year!
~CloudEnigma's coming over for a few days on Saturday as well. So I'm very happy at the moment~

On a completely different note, I finally hit 10k pageviews!!! So I'd like to thank all those who watch me, although 10k isn't alot compared to some of the amazing artists I know, to me it's a big achievement (and one I never thought I'd actually achieve :XD:). So thank you all :heart:

So I have next week off school for half term, which is fantastic. I'm completely buried in school work so I have a week to catch up on everything I need to do. My teachers give me way too much work; that or I'm just lazy and not motivated enough to do it and therefore tend to let myself get buried in it.
The second is more likely :giggle:

There's so much I keep planning to draw as well. I just can't seem to find time to finish anything though. I have sketchpads full of hundreds of unfinished pictures, lots of them are getting old now and I look at them and want to completely redraw them, but I have no time ^^;
Someone invent a watch to slow time for me please?!

Mmmm I wonder if I'll get birthday cake tomorrow~

Secondly, as you may have noticed, or most likely not, I've been pretty much very inactive lately.
Currently I've got a more work on my hands that I can handle and I really doubt I'm going to get the majority of it finished by the various deadlines I have to meet.
Because of this I can't see me becoming any more active than I have been over the past few weeks (lol I haven't updated since January), especially with my GCSE's just around the corner (someone save me!!!), so I'll be leaving until this summer.
If I'm not back by August then feel free to send a search party out for me. Though I doubt any of you will miss me enough to even notice if I'm not back anyway~

Thirdly, I've put 3/4 of my gallery into storage. Mainly because I decided that 3/4 of it is ugly xDD;;; If theres anything in particular that I've removed then let me know and I'll put it back when I'm next on.

The rest isn't important, feel free not to read ^^ This is just going to be a quick overview of my life since my last journal~

-I have so much coursework to do O.O I have 2 weeks to somehow complete 2 sketchpads worth of art coursework (one of them isn't even started), plus another sketchpad of preparation for my exam. Then I have ICT to finish, Graphics which I'm starting to get stressed about seeing as I haven't finished the written part of it, let alone the models. I've pretty much given up on my spanish, I've never been any good at it anyway. And I have maths coursework to finish and possibly english to rewrite if my first draft sucked as much as I think it did.

-I got to go to two funerals within 5 days of each other. My great uncle died at the end of january, and my great nan in february. Granted they weren't my closest relatives but I still knew them both well and it was the first time I'd experienced anyone in my family die so it was pretty upsetting but I'll shut up now because I've made myself cry ^^; *crybaby*

-It was my sisters birthday the other week, she had two friends over for tea and they were demons Dx
I swear I've never known 8 year olds as evil as them. They really scared me T.T

-The past week I've been helping my schools music department with a show they put on tonight. I got to make posters for it and help with the set =3

-My easter sucked but the chocolate was a bonus >w<

Other than that my lifes been pretty uneventful. Just full of schoolwork and a lot of stress really xDD

Firstly. My computers dead. We've had it for 5 years so it's a wonder it's lasted this long. Its a complete miracle I managed to switch it on this morning. In a min it's likely to overheat and freeze again ^^; We're getting a new computer soon...but my dads lazy and hasn't bought it yet (we keep nagging him).

Secondly. School restarts on thursday Dx
And due to being completely lazy last year I have a ridiculous amount of work to do. Most of it being art or graphics related because I spent most of last year doodling in lessons ^^;
So I'm going to less active. I'll still come on and check messages but commenting will probably be even less nonexistant that it is at the moment :XD: (didnt think that was possible). And I doubt I'll be submitting anything in a while.

Thirdly. I've been adopted by a cute black cat. It appeared yesterday but then disappeared. But reappeared this morning, has inspected our entire house, and is now asleep on the window sill. Awwww =3
Amazingly mum doesn't mind. But we can't keep it because it already has owners T.T but we can't get it to leave :XD: silly kitty ^^ The oldest of my little sisters hates it though. She doesn't like cats.

Disappearing

From next monday I'll be absent from DA for a few days. Its the school half term next week where I live so I'm going down to Malvern with my family. Originally we were going down there so I could visit ~CloudEnigma...but he was silly and moved to the other end of the country (great way to avoid me I guess :XD:)
So seeing as I'll have nothing to do for 5(ish) days, I'm going to try get as much of my to do list done as possible. Though I won't be about to colour anything digitally until I get back.
Anyway, if you wonder where I am (not that anyone will notice I'm gone), I'll be back soon ^^

What am I talking about you ask? Well for my Graphics GCSE project I've chosen to do something manga related. I'm making the cover, a few teaser pages, a stand, and a poster for my own manga design. I have until next christmas to finish it but the designing stage has to be finished way before then. Slightly belated explanation to last journal:

So, what did you do to your hand?? D=
Well...it's actually a funny story and my friends are never going to let me live it down :XD:
First of all, let me describe my stairs. The first 7 steps go upwards, then theres a bigish platform with a window and a wall then opposite this wall is the rest of the stairs going up.
My mum had put a big pot mixing bowl of pizza dough in the airing cupboard, which is on the upstairs landing. She asked me to get the bowl. I went and got the bowl. I fell down the stairs carrying the bowl, crashed into the wall with the bowl in my hands. The bowl smashed. Smashed bowl cut into my hand. Hand went all bleedy on the carpet =D Bowl was still in my hands because I didn't realise my hand was bleeding, teh conversation went something like this:

Emz: Oh no! (language was slightly more explicit that this at the time)
Sis: *comes running it* what have you done?
Emz: I've broken mums bowl!!
Sis: OMG you're bleeding!!
Emz: What should I tell mum?!
Sis: Tell her you're bleeding!!
Emz: ...*move bowl and sees hand* oh no I'm bleeding!! *spazz*
Mum: *comes in* OMG whats happened?!
Sis: Emz is bleeding!!
Emz: I broke your bowl D= I'm sorry!!
Mum: ...OMG you've got blood on the carpet!! Get a towel!
Emz: I'm sorry!!

I had to sit with my arm in the air for ages waiting for my dad to come home to take me to hospital. I looked rather silly :XD:
My hands almost healed now, I'm going to have a very nice scar across the base of my thumb on my left hand though. I couldn't move it for a week, it went all swollen and black and bleh. It's now a greenish yellow colour. It was clipped together and bandaged up.

No we didn't eat the pizza ^^; Kinda ruined it :XD:
Yes there is still blood on the carpet.

So... now that my hands fixed, guess what?!

Lolz :XD: I have some form of gastritis, and have been put on a sugary carbohydrate only diet for the next few weeks as well as some random tablets. I have to avoid anything with fat or dairy products in. Oh joy!!

Well... welcome ladies and gentlemen, children, friend, cats, dogs, aliens, and who/whatever else may be reading this, to part II.

In my life, I have been injured by A L O T of sports related equiptment; hockey sticks, netballs, netball posts, hockey balls, footballs, basketballs, goalposts, rugby balls, golf clubs, golf balls, golf trolleys, volleyballs, badminton rackets, tennis rackets, tennis balls, plastic hoops, vaults, etc. You name it, chances are I've probably been injured by it. There has not been a single sports lesson at school over the past year where I've not been injured at least once in some shape or form.

Then, the other day, I got to thinking... why blame the equiptment?? It's not their fault. So... I would like to apologise to any sports equiptment I may have offended and I completely understand that you probably don't hate me... or you might. I don't know.
Just please stop injuring me darn it!!!!

Try living 100miles away from the one person in the world who might actually give a shit about you, and most of the time only able to contact them via IM or phone, for them to then randomly move house and bang, they have no internet or home phoneline :cries:

10 Things About My Art

1) A lot of my art doesn't actually get posted on DA, it gets left to rot or evaporate or something on my bedroom floor ^^;

2) The first thing I drew was a self-portrait (I still have it!), and the first thing I painted was a bright blue cloud that looked like a sheep ^^ I have hated painting ever since :XD:

3) Pencils are evil, I can not shade with pencils, I have to use pencil crayons.

4) I doodle on everything, especially myself. I often have some weird and wonderful image inked onto my left hand *is right handed*

5) My first masterpiece was drawn on the walls of the lounge at our old house, in black permanent marker ^^

6) I hate my own art, I can rarely say a good thing about it. Or I'll like it just after I've drawn it then look at it again later and hate it.

7) I taught myself how to draw. I've had art lessons with school for 3 years now, but they're pants.

8) I've been drawing anime related stuff seriously for 2-3 years now. The first anime picture I ever draw was of Sailor Moon when I was ickle, though at that time I didn't know it was anime :XD: It was just some japanese cartoon which my dad hated ^^;

9) I'm running out of things here... Oh!! I have a fav pencil :XD: I only ever use that pencil for drawing... I'm also very protective over my peach pencil crayon :giggle:

10) My art sucks! Yays!

Is anyone here any good at fixing scanners or scanner settings?? Because I have a HUGE problem. My scanner is still scanning sketches and anything thats not coloured perfectly (well more or less) but whenever I try to scan something which I've coloured it scans but comes out all pixelated and I've tried to fix it, but it just goes worse. The annoying this is I don't know what I've done to make it do that, it was working fine before :cries:
Anyway I have a Lexmark scanner so if anyone can help me out I'd love you for ever and ever :glomp:

Now just to keep happy, because he complained when I said this journal wasn't about him :giggle: everyone go and randomly glomp him :XD:

For the first time in years!! I've finally got my act together and quit being so lazy :XD:

I have a *gets ruler* 1.4cm high pile of artwork which I have to scan and submit at some point ^^; I'm not entirely sure when but never mind...

Well I'm going to stay with my grandparents in Nottingham. I was going on holiday to south Wales but we had to cancel it. We found out that our car can't legally tow our caravan ^^; So now we have to either get a new car, or get rid of the caravan...

Long time no see huh? Yeah I've been kinda slacking when it comes to checking my messages ^^; Dam me being so lazy >< Currently have 576 messages so opps ^^;

I have a mahoosive pile of stuff I have to submit but I'm too lazy to do that as well xD Someone force me to stop being lazy, please??

Well I've had a great day :w00t: Ry (i.e. , i.e. my amazing boyfriend :smooch:) came over to visit me :dance: :boogie: so now I'm a) upset because he's gone :cries: (I miss him already T.T I feel lonely now) and b) hyper cuz I had such an awesome time :XD:
Except now I smell like the sea Oo ... and Ry which is quite nice :giggle:

So what did we do?? A lot of stuff :XD: Well erm... we went out... and I'm now sunburnt on my face and chest ^^; Now entirely sure how my chest got sunburnt when it was completely covered up all the time but there you go. It's one of the great mysteries of nature :XD:

Erm well... we went into town... the beach... the fair... the pier... my house for like 10mins (:XD:)... the beach again... vine walk... and a random grassy patch... yays :boogie:

Without going into too much detail, it was terrificallyfaboulouslyamazinglyawesomel ybrilliantlygreatwithsugarontop :XD:

In other news I've now started my GCSE's :cries: Scary.
On the plus side I never have to do french (:w00t:), geography, history, RE, music, woodwork, or cookery every again xD Yays!!
