I'm so exhausted right now -.- Random story time! About 6 months ago, I accidentally subscribed to 17 Magazine on a trial version. I used up my trial, then a few months after it was up, I subscribed because I got a really good deal (thanks, Twitter!). So I got my 2nd issue of my subscription and they were giving away free lip gloss/perfume sets online. I go on the website, sign in with my account, and enter...being very careful to not start another trial subscription. I swear the box had "no" highlighted and "I am already I'm a subscriber" was already determined and everything! However, soon as I click "enter contest"... I go to a page saying something along the lines of "Thank you for your entry! And, also, thank you for your subscription! Your first issue should arrive in 4-6 weeks. The bill of $10 will come shortly after that." I was like "wut....? Crap." and now I'm starting to freak out but I'm okay as of yet... Seriously, they must know I already HAVE a subscription, with the same name and information and even email address and everything!!!! *sigh*

As far as art is concerned, I'm working on it. I'm so busy lately - school has given me WAY more extra work than anticipated, not to mention I'm going to the school on Sundays now to help make the set for our plays. This gives me Saturday to be alive - and I need it to sleep. Argh. I've got 2 prizes to draw and upload, still, and thankfully I'm halfway finished one and it should be up in the next week (I'm knocking on wood as I type - whenever I give a time estimate for when my art should be done, I always miss the deadline.) It's coming, guys! It's coming!

Aside from that, all I really have to say is.... I wish my computer wouldn't slow down when I make extremely high res and therefore large pictures. Bleh, who am I kidding, I wish I drew like so many other people in the world. I hate my "style", if you could call it that.

What is the contest about? Well, we were all "crazy kids." All of us. The object of this contest is simple - reach as deep as you can into your earliest memories and remember what you were like when you were a small child. What was popular? What did you want to be when you grew up? Who was your best friend? What happened in that glorious time before you even had to go to school, where the hardest thing you'd have to do all day is find something to do? Represent yourself as you were back then in some form of art. It could be a photograph from way back when, a sculpture of your favorite toy, a drawing of how you saw the world, a poem about your buddies, or a short story about the time you flushed your cat down the toilet. Anything at all.

Ryan Tedder, the lead singer of OneRepublic and one of the leading song writers in today's industry, was recently accused by Kelly Clarkson of selling the same track to her for "Already Gone" as Beyonce for "Halo."

It's been a little bit since I updated, so I am going to take this moment to do some advertising, as well as to tell you how to contact me outside of dA. I seem to have lost many of my internet friends (not that it's all surprising) but I was mean and I think I came off the wrong way. I love typing online. Don't be afraid to talk to me, I love it. On YouYube, I am xDressagestaRx. I am currently working on lots of equestrian (horse) music videos, and if you like horses, they are very entertaining. I have a ton by other people on my iPod, hehe. The Latsie and Latio show is being put up now, one ep a week. I also want to direct you to one of my best friend's YouTube accounts, LaurenLaggyOfficial. She is an aspiring singer, and I am her producer/graphic designer/camera woman/backup singer/everything else that does not involve lead vocals.

I have three blogs at the moment, too. The first, which is updated most, belongs to both me and Martham112, though I'm really the only person that uses it, hehe. It's our Quote Of The Day blog, and every day I update it with some sort of craziness from my everyday life, be it a video, phrase, or picture. Today in art class me and made churros out of clay. SK said we couldn't, but we didn't listen. She said only churros could be churros, not clay. I doubt it. I say that the handles made of clay could be churros. Even if they're stuck in Lee's mug!! Lee shoudln't abuse Sammi. It's like Chris Brown and Rihanna.

Churros are good.

I need my mind taken out of the gutter.

Dark Rapidash needs a new name! If you haven't seen the conversation going on in my deviatation "January", here's the deal.
I want to make Dark Rapidash my own creation. Technically, it is, and it looks a lot like Rapidash from Pokemon.
But I'm sure the name Rapidash is copyrighted. So I need to think of a new one! And I've been trying, but am having a really hard time getting a name. Nothing flows like "Dark Rapidash," ya know?

(Mixed feelings 'bout those...) So I feel the need to clarify my absence to the best of my ability. And because I need to rant. And also because I may as well just send anyone who bothers to ask "why" again here.
WTPT has changed. Obviously, the Pokemon Times has become the Pallet Tribune, though the name is not my only turn off. (yeah, sorry, new name = stupid. imo.) I originally settled into WTPT because it wasn't what it is now, which just so happens to be EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid then. Back then, the busy and well-populated PUK forums were bursting so I gravitated to the smaller, tighter community of TPT. That no longer exists. The battling has become more intense, (and has gotten quite...sad, imo.) the amount of people makes me... claustrophobic... a lot of people there have either come on or turned into people I don't really want to be associated with (I'm not elaborating. Figure it out yourselves. You embarrass me too much), a lot of my old friends don't even talk to me one-on-one unless I start the convo (I prefer smaller chats to bigger ones, if you couldn't tell) and even then its awkward to a degree... oh, and the forums? Yuck. Imo. I don't like forums. There's a logical reason why, but I myself have yet to find it out...
BTW, just because the site isn't my thing any more, doesn't mean I HATE it! Actually, I'm quite happy FOR it. After all, all sites I ever take interest in graduate to become either popular (wtpt=good example), stupid (horseland=great example) or flat-out dead (hoofbeats=best example).
Oh, oh, before I finish my very long rant, I'd like to say this: I LOVE YOU! I DO still want to be friends, so PLEASE kit with me! Aim, msn, skype, texting, email, phone, any sort of way you can talk to me, I love it. If you need something, feel free to send me a note right here on dA even!

Considering how I've grown as an artist, I think I've sort of set the bar for myself, and want to show only my REAL works of art mainstream. I know that watch doesn't automatically set it to pick up on scraps, so if you wanna see my lesser works... that'll be a busy section, heads up. Also... I had something else to say but tragically forgot. Now onto the rambling!

For internet life, with WTPTs forums and changing and whatnot, I'm out. Though I think people have already noticed that... or maybe not. I usually ditch sites once they go under their gianthuge "improvement" stage, and this is certainly it. It's kinda funny, cause this is the point in a site's life that I usually FIND it. Ha. There's people there that really bug me, and most of the people that don't haven't really tried to contact me at all, so I don't think my absence matters much (feel free to disagree if I'm wrong...not that that would change anything. Seeing as litterally a few people have bothered to talk to me, and take the first step in doing so...) I'm only going on the forums when I get an email. Now I need to find a new website to latch onto. I think I've accounted for all of my interests, though... this could get ugly. HORSEY PEOPLE, GO HERE! Thanksgiving was bad for me this year. I was totally sick, and didn't even get to have dinner. Not that I would've, as I'm not really a turkey person... being vegetarian and all... The macy's parade was great, as usual. Lack of good performers, though... but Rick Astly was there... I cried. Seriously, I threw a fit. In my head. I wouldn't mind working for Pokemon USA just so I could pull the Pikachu balloon. The people who pull the balloon are all employees, ya know. OMG, there was a commercial for Guitar Hero for the DS with CORBIN BLEU!!! I freaked out. That was the highlight of my day. I spent the rest of the day watching Jackie Chan Adventures.

Bah humbug, it's the end of the year, and therefore it's that time of year again for me to typically go emo. Well, I'm kinda emo all year, but I'm generally good at hiding it. Is it typical to have my favorite ever Christmas song be about bleeding? (Not This Year by Aly and Aj, it's PWN.) I don't think so.

This is causing me to go under some major emotional termoil.

I watched it die. I saw the sight no one should ever see. I dropped it. It fell on the floor. The top screen came mostly off. And, when we tried to fix it, the light over the R button snapped off altogether.

This means no Pokemon, no Pony Friends, no nothing until Christmas. Dammit.

Oh, and I'm incredibly depressed now. Not that I even played it much lately. But... it's... gone... gone, I tell you, gone... and I don't want a NEW one, I want THAT one. THAT'S the one covered in Cyndaquil and horse stickers, after all...

In other news... Life rocked real hard right up to that point. I don't even remember why right now. Something about this funny lady we cut out of a magazine... oh, but, oh, that seems so stupid right now.

I will still be attempting to do the Pokemon Tutorials, but With the summer and all, I've been having issues getting on... As for my sprite tutorials. On a slightly happier note, I finally paid for ArtRage 2.5 Plus. Hazzah.

As for the rest of life, its not so great right now. I found out a lot of my high school schedule. Gym first. Lunch third to last. I shall die. Speaking of high school, I read one of the books on my reading list. Twisted by Laurie something or other. It was really really good. But now I have to re-read it to take notes....

And listen to the warning on the first few pages. That book is NOT for children.

To celebrate the season, I'm writing a series of four panel manga based off the Christmas classic, "The Twelve days of Christmas". I'll be posting a new issue about every two days or so (I tend to be kind of lazy about deadlines... >.< so keep an eye out for it, and pretty please comment on them!
