Yes, I'd like to hear, even if you have nothing to say but complain about how shitty your day was. But even if you have/had a bad day, there still must be something, no matter how small, you are thankful for, right? :3 *~

Even though I don't know many of you. I am thankful for your presence! Because encouragement is a thing I don't get much in my family, and something I probably take for granted when I receive it from my friends or even strangers. So thank you!
That said, I am thankful for those who put up with me, know me, and still put up with me. I am thankful for my dog, Yoshi, who sometimes is the only one to comfort me when I'm having an emotional night. I am thankful for the few family members that still try, in their own subtle way, to be there for me, even if it's not all the time. I am thankful for being, overall, 'healthy' (lol for the most part).

Today, I'm going to go eat with my dad, I'm glad it worked out since I was afraid I wouldn't get to see him with my weird and hectic work schedule for Black Friday (now I know why its BLACK.) I haven't seen him since early August, so I was relieved. I will be taken by my Grandma (lol awkward car ride possibly) and eat there for lunch, then come home and mingle with my mother and a few of her friends. Should be good, if only, because I'll eat lots of fooood~ ;D

- Well, work is gonna suck pretty soon, I can tell. We've already had some little delinquents stealing, some woman trying to buy stuff with fake one-hundred dollar bills, etc. And it's not even as close to Christmas as it is Thanksgiving yet ;;. People are scary... I dun wanna get trampled or killed.
- Yoshi (my dog) has been having trouble eating so today I'm taking him to the vet for a check up /o/ and hopefully to get those god-awful long nails clipped.
- My throat hurts right now, and if I get sick, I swear... *empty threat*
- Other than that, not much, been angsty and more angst, but I blame the womanly gift from hell that comes around each month.

Drawing

- I actually feel artsy! I haven't really been doing much to upload, but I've been drawing without wanting to slit my throat so that's something. Been doing a lot of planning with my friend, Lurulei, about character/story stuff, which is fun.
- LOTS of TM (tinierme) fanart... they are just so damn cute omg. Ok, not lots, but, 'lots' since... er, yeah, I usually don't draw anything worth uploading cept maybe once every two months; if even that.

Gaming

- Unless TM counts as a game... not much. Usually when I'm over at Lurulei's I'm watching HER play. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and now Muramasa: The Demon Blade. We are planning to do our "SHITTY/TEDIOUS GAME HOWEVER MUST BEAT" marathon though... which so far consists of Chocobo's Dungeon 2, Galerians Ash, and Ephemeral Fantasia. YEAH! LET'S DO IT!

See, I already had it in my head I was going to miss halloween completely given my schedule... no dressing up, no going around and getting candy despite being probably-too-old. But no, Tuesday, an employee on break asked me what I was going to be for Halloween. With a deadpan face, I replied "A cashier." and then he's like "well right, but, you get to dress up" suddenly, refueled I was like "REALLY?!! WE GET TO DO SOMETHING FUN HERE??!" And I was really excited for once. Sure i'd have to work, but it'd be neat to dress up and stuff.

But no. Just today, I was informed that was taken away from us. No costumes today, and in fact, starting now (after 10 years) everything will be strict dress code. Meaning, we don't even get to wear jeans every friday like we have gotten too. Honestly, i forget to wear jeans so it doesn't really affect me, but ITS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE THING. KLJKLFJKLF ;~; I wanted to dress up...

Anyways. Happy Halloween to the rest of you. Hope you have fun, dun do anything stupid and all of that.

An expected 70+ hours of game play?? You know I'm gettin' that shit right thar. Oh yeaaah *kool-aid-man style* It sounds like it's going to be different from everything I'm used to compared to the tales-of games I've played so far, but that won't necessarily be a bad thing, right? The character designs look pretty neat and the battle system looks spiffy... again, that might not mean much, but who knows?

Plus... I've just really been wanting a good rpg for the wii. And at the length I'm hearing, it has me looking forward to it, so.

OF COURSE THAT'S HOPING THEY'LL BRING IT TO THE U.S. lol. Ugh >> and then the curiosity of which voice actors they'll use. FFF. There's still fun stuff to discover as time moves on, so I'm interested to see what develops later~

Wah, I just feel like I don't have as much time to draw--or that if I drew instead of other things, I wouldn't get to talk to my friends as much... which already feels very limited having a job now. Mainly because---when I start drawing something, I'm usually very committed to it until completion (I have a bad tendency to never finish something if I DON'T finish it that day) and it makes me rather anti-social.

Still--I'd really like to do a webcomic of my own! _{(probably only saying this cause I'm hyped off inspiration... seeing as Untouched remains.... untouched.)} But gaaah, I don't know. People are just really amazing!!

Here's the dealio yo. My tablet was working fine in Photoshop CS2 just a short while ago when I was just doing random crapz, but finally, when I decide to color something, I go in there, and realize I have no pressure sensitivity.

I tried:
1) Checking to make sure my tablet was still plugged in, closed out of Photoshop and restarted the program.
2) Clicked my tablet icon and did a test (confused because it seemed to be working fine in the tablet test, pressure sensitivity that is.)
3) Did the same in (1), but then unplugged my tablet, restarted the computer, put my tablet back in, went back into Photoshop.
4) Disabling and then re-enabling through My Computer -> properties -> devices blah blah blah

Any ideas? :<

Ahem... Yeah, okay guys... problem fixed itself somehow. I decided I'd just try to color it without the pressure sensitivity, but then as I was changing my brush size it suddenly went back to normal.

Thank you for all your advice and help; sorry for wasting your time. OTL.

- Finally got a job~ Yup yup. At Walmart. Bleh. But whatever, right? I'm happy I just finally got something for once (even if all of the cashier stories are making it dread it more and more). Yus, I can say that for certain now because I checked back with them Thursday and they confirmed it and said come back next Wednesday as to where I assume they'll let us know the basics of working there... joy.

- Anyways, at my dad's right now ( in his very spiffy new house D; ). We ate dinner that Thursday and he had already brought up me coming down for the weekend so he asked if I just wanted to leave with him now so he didn't have to drive back up or me drive down there and everything. Sounded like a plan to me, I hate freeways/highways.

- Friday we went to Six Flags \o/ ! geez, I had no idea it was like $50 bucks per person. crazy crazy. But whatever, I had lots of fun; I hadn't gone in quite some time so it was cooliez. There was some new rides so I got to try them out... and then I had some new experiences from the old stuff... like during a show I got chosen to dance around with the singers/dancers D| omgz embarrassing but it was fun, even if I just smiled like an idiot. They were really cool, I always envy people that can sing and dance. Which at the very end of the day there was this really cute band. 2 girls and a boy; all siblings. baw that boy was so cute. omgz I just wanted to hug him. I did get him to sign my Luke Boulevard sign |D (yes, I'm a dork... I also got a key-chain that said Luke... in red muahaha.) Then there was a parade; which was a first for me to see at Six Flags. So it was really neat.

- Today, or I guess yesterday now (but it's still today to me until i sleep!), we pretty much just shopped for my dad and stepmom's bedroom set and got some stuff for landscaping, ate out and then saw District 9. Which was... very interesting to say the least. A part of me thinks they could have made the movie just as awesome without the always-moving-camera effect... (like what they do in Cloverfield or the Blair Witch thingy movie...). Some parts I had my hands over my face (even though I was peeking through them the entire time XD) just cause images made me cringe in iiiick. But by the middle, I was into it. Was pretty awesome to see people go BOOM. It got a chuckle out of me....

- Then we gots home, played some Mario Kart on the wii with meh daddio, and now... here I am... should probably go to bed though. We gots people coming over. D|

- Still no job, baw. Nothing new in that department. Not really anything new in any department. Though these last couple days have been distracting what with having to watch my sister's new puppy--which isn't potty trained in the least (in fact I'm pretty sure it has something against peeing and pooping outside from what I've experienced.) Whatever the case, it's only lovable when it's sleeping... since any other time he's chewing absolutely anything or making the house it's personal restroom.

- Nothing... I have drawn eyes and faces but I can't seem to finish a picture. It really sucks too because I just have nights I want to DRAW but... nothing comes out of it and it just makes me depressed, orz.

Gaming
- Been--well, when I can what with the dog here--trying to play Radiata Stories. Battling is repetitive but otherwise I love et >< Jack is too cute; it makes me want to draw fanart of et but I fail right now.

Afterward we went to some sushi place... to which I got chicken, since fish isn't exactly my favored dish (especially raw fish). But that was pretty much it.

I think I was totally spoiled for the last week - -; so yeah, wow. Again, would never get to do that shinz.
Didn't get too much stuff... I bought a pin, a fan, and a stuffed doll. But they were all very cute in different ways :3

I've realized though--being in a different place, different state, doesn't affect me as much anymore. As soon as we arrived I already felt comfortable. Crazy shinz, yus. Though I was, of course, happy to see my Yoshi bōsh (dog).

No I really didn't care, and quite a few were driving from Dallas (which was about 30-45 mins from the place) and my friend (who dressed as Kakashi) was the one that had to call everyone to make sure they were coming/getting there/ etc. And that can get pretty stressful so, *shrug*. We got two more Kakashi’s –though female counterparts and got there AT 2, but not everyone had shown up, so we just were planning to take the remaining two.

Well some of the Dallas people showed (an Itachi, a Sasuke, and a Kenpachi), and since we still had about 30 mins to spare before 3, we decided to meet them over at Sonic across the street. Turns out Kenpachi fell over while trying to get past the cars >> so we arrived to his bloody elbow and –whatever the hell was wrong with his wrist (I’m gonna guess sprained)—I tried to insist that I, Luke, had beaten him up, but they all just snickered at me (what. It’s that unbelievable that a 5’6’’ replica can beat down a 6’7’’ dude? :< ).

Anyways, we made it back for the game at 3pm and got our names (to which I chose my codename to be Dreck) and woot woot, the replica kicked ass~ I got 8th place \o/……… that’s good for me ok? And those little kids that were around are hard to get. Plus they’re like right at eye level with your waist and that’s where one of the stupid sensors are! Plus hey 8th out of 35?? Hellz yes. Unfortunately, that would be my best game for the entire night. Itachi was a little backstabber though D8< we’re all like WE’LL TEAM UP AND KILL THE KIDS, but he’d come up while were trying to shoot down at them and get us all XD; the jerk. It was funny though. My second game I got 13th out of 29. Mmf.

After that, there was a big break on when our next game would be, so we decided to go eat/hang out at the mall. So we did that. It’s so funny going to normal places in your cosplay. The stares you get. Lol. So funny. So anyways, yea, hung out and ate some Japanese food, then we hung out in Sam Goody, just looking at Anime and manga and stuff, then headed back for our third game—which Luke got 14th out of 24. blech. Again, worse and worse. Finally around THAT time, a Naruto and his girlfriend (or what I assumed to be) showed up. We were like uhh lol, it’s a little late. But then, decided we’d go ahead and play another game since they got there.

Since I was sucking so bad >8 ( I decided to change my codename to ‘Asch’. HAHAHA. I got 12th out of 26. And wow, looking at the paper, I realize that’s the only game Itachi didn’t kill me… like loads of time. Looks like I got him five times though *snicker snicker* ohp wait, no there he is… he got me six times = = dammit. Ah well.

Anyways, so after THAT, we headed back to sonic for a snack and then decided we’d go play hide n seek/tag at a park. (Mind you, we were all about 18+ in age. XD). I’m pretty torn up now. Have scratches everywhere, mainly from trying to climb a tree—FAIL—and yeah. But hey, Itachi helped up there and yeah. Then I screamed out something like RAWR WHO’S NARUTO NOW??! *crickets* Whaaatever. Srsly, me and Kenpachi were the only ones NOT from Naruto… and besides the guys that didn’t dress up at all. By the park though, everyone left but me Kakashi, Itachi, Kenpachi, Sasuke(?) cept out of his cosplay (though by that time I was out of mine practically… actually, everyone but Kakashi was sorta out of theres. Lol. ) and Kakashi’s friend—whos name always fails to escape me. But we just ended up talking on the park bench… since we were all now poor from buying so much laser tag games.

It was freezing the whole day too… and it made me wonder how Luke survives in Keterburg. Friggen useless white jacket thing. Omgz. Fun though. Fun day. Even though right now, I feel very sore and very shitty XD; probably being in the cold so much wasn’t good when I haven’t been feeling well lately. Now I feel worse /o/ woot woot. Win.

Wish I could show the vid we taped on Kakashi’s cam cord. But I don’t know if he can upload it or not D| ah well. And if anybody read this rant—wow.

So anyways, I apologize for the lack of art coming out of me--believe me, I WAS working on one, it just got killed off with the rest of everything else. This means that I probably wont be submitting anything in the near future though, unless I do oekakis and upload them that way, though I usually don't do such on my main deviations, usually I put those in scraps. Can't do Oekaki's now either D| Wtf is wrong with my damn computer.

Anyways. I did do this before my computer kicked it. My first attempt at animation. Not that great, but its how I feel right now. Either the being crushed part or the wanting to destroy all the joyous happy things like rainbows and bunnies. Also, Luke looks cute here. The Anime is so great. Especially when they put creepy fatal-frame-look-alike scenes with Asch and being able to see these sort of expressions on Jade.

So, that's about it. I think.

So yesterday was pretty fun. I mean, school wasn't, but afterwards I spent my time at DarkDragonEmpress427's house and she prettied me up (because I never wear make up or anything so I surely do not know how to put it on) for my Piano recital that evening at 7:00pm. We got there a little early though, because... well, my teacher wanted us to get there earlier. Unfortunately I was the second to the last person playing... so i had plenty of time to sit there listening to all the amazing players and hoping to god i could do alright. So yea... a little nervous. And I DID mess up when I was up there... damn... stupid... piano. No ok, it was my fault, but I couldn't help it!

Thankfully that horrible moment was short and sweet and afterwards I got to go to the Texas Roadhouse with DarkDragonEmpress427, her brother, her mother, and Jrikku1347. It was delicious, but we had to hurry because later we went to see Iron Man! oh gawds... awesome movie ^__^d Go see it if you haven't!~

I had a lot of fun, even if my allergies were killing me and I smeared all the make up on my face lmao... but then I got home and I felt horrible. I hate being home for some reason... more so than usual. But then I also get so worn being out. Heh, I don't know what the hellz to do ^__^;

TALES OF VESPERIA! Has been announced for August 19, 2008!! Waah ; A ; ... I just know they're going to set it back later but maaaan! of course... I need money quickly... but I need a car... mm... stuff to do... so little time to do it.

Well technically it was... she came down Thursday night, stayed my house, we drove to Houston Friday morning, went to the con, stayed at the hotel Friday night, stayed at con saturday through the day, and left saturday night. Again... poor her and all that driving >>; sorry I don't have my license.

BULSKDFJ BUT I GOT TO MEET YURI LOWENTHAL (voice actor for Luke/Asch/Haseo/Sasuke/lskdjfkj all those characters) XD wah. so awesome. I've always dreamed someday to see him at a con... and BAMMO. It was totally a last minute addition so even when we got there, none of the staff could tell us where he would be.

We ended up meeting with DawnYuuki, whom told me about the con in the first place, so I was thinking we'd see her. And right when we got there XD we're like LOOK TALES OF PEOPLE, and I saw an Asch and i'm like *nudge nudge* to LadyUsada (who also went as Asch) and i'm like I THINK ITS HER! GO ASK *PUSHES* (cause I'm really too shy ==; ) But anyways. It was. so we're like COOL LOL OK WE'RE GONNA GO GET REGISTERED AND GET DRESSED. I met a lot of new and awesome people like Bookworm13 who went as Jade~ <3 I wish I could find more of the people on here... SO IF YOU WERE THERE YOU LET ME KNOW D< ... *ahem* But lets see.... I went as short-haired Luke, LadyUsada was Asch, DawnYuuki actually went as Asch one day and Long-haired Luke the next, we had a Jade as said above, an Ion, a VAN XD (total win), a Mieu (lmaoitwassogreat) and a Guy who showed up on Saturday XD a very shy Guy lol ~ She was sweet though. Yea actually... only Mieu and Van were actual Guys... HAIL TO CROSSPLAY! (or however you're supposed to spell it)

Then of course, there was the Yuri Lowenthal thing... like homgz... big win. Huge Win. It was so cute that he went there with his wife ; ; i was like " d'awww" BUKSJKFJKJ I got him to sign meh Abyss guide cover TT totally ripped it off when I got home. XD Mieu got him to sign a sex bomb (don't ask lmao... ) But seriously. Yuri was awesome. and totally nice. He all let us get pictures with him (until the stupid security people are like THERE'S A LINE LSKDJKFJ RAWRG) but i managed to get one >D <3 TT hope my pics come out *totally worried*

Reason 1: Single vs. Relationship
Let’s get it over and talk about it, most people don’t like Valentine’s Day because they’re single. And it’s true, when your single Valentine’s Day can make you feel broken. As if there is something eternally wrong with you for not having true love on the day painted pink on the calendar. But if you’re in a relationship there is a can be an impeding sense of pressure as well. Valentine’s Day presents, the pressure causes a overwhelming sentiment that you’re future happiness rests on the selection of the perfect pink, red, or possible gold gift. And with the busy lives we all lead these days, who needs heart themed pressure?

Reason 2: St. Valentine?
There is a date on the calendar named after him signifying love and devotion, people propose and get married on this day of bliss, heck Hallmark and chocolate companies make a killing on this day; and nobody even knows who this St. Valentine dude is! “The history of Valentine’s Day – and its patron saint – is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a moth of romance. St Valentine’s Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. So, who was Saint Valentine and how did he become associated with this ancient rite? For all we know, he was a criminal lover who stole the hearts of women, a Don Juan of his time.

Reason 3: The Gifts
Do you really need, or even want, another set of stuffed pink kissing dogs with hearts on their butts? I mean really, where are you going to put them? And a box of chocolates? That’s not going help you lose the 5 pounds you put on at Christmas. The mass marketing of cheep and pointless gifts to validate a sentiment of caring just seems ridiculous! If you love me, and want to do something nice, don’t buy me a monkey in chains that sings an Elvis Presley song. Cook me dinner and do the dishes, or take me to get my favorite desert, or rent that chick flick I really wanted to see and you know you’re going to hate. Do something because you want to, not because you have to. And please pass on the candy heart bouquet, sold for 10.99 at the local drug store!

Reason 4: The Cards
They don’t make an ‘I-don’t-know-if-we’re-meant-to-be-I’ve-only-known-you-a-week’ card. If they did, I might change my mind about Valentine’s Day. I would also like to request a ‘I’m-a-Stalker’ card and an ‘I’m-only-giving-this-because-I-want-something-in-return’ card, I think those would be huge sellers! According to the Greeting Card Association, 25% of all cards sent each year are valentines. (for more information check out infoplease.com). 25%! Just think of the trees we could save if we eliminated Valentines Day.

Reason 5: Chalk Hearts
You know what I’m referring too. The goofy little box of hearts that taste like sidewalk chalk with white confessions of love embossed on their florescent bodies. “Be Mine,” “I’m Yours,” “You’re Sweet,” and “Love.” Love? Do you really even like someone if you’re giving them chalk to eat? I would prefer an “It’s not you, it’s me” chalk heart, or a “We need to talk” heart. They seem more appropriate.

Reason 6: Cupid’s Creepy!
A small boy in a diaper flying around shooting people with arrows? This does not make me want to snuggle, it’s just creepy! What’s next, an old man in a red suit sliding down chimneys… oh… wait… But seriously, the whole idea of some pudgy progeny of Aphrodite shooting arrows at my heart, with the intention of construing a long and lasting relationship, it’s a little frightening.

Reason 7: Roses Die
Is the shelling out of $49.95 for twelve fragrant sticks with (insert color here) petals, which will be dead in a week, and I will have to feel guilty over throwing away, really a sign of true love? Or should I take it as a showing of your feelings of our relationship, wilting and dieing quickly? Overpriced and overrated, need I say more?

Reason 8: Halloween is a way better holiday
It is. You can’t argue with a holiday that does not exclude any group of people, requires strangers to give you candy, and allows people to free their inner child and dress up! So, if we start requiring couples to dress in matching diapers and pass out chocolate to single people, I may change my mind on Valentine’s Day, until then…

THEY HAVE TO BE INTERESTING?!? ......pfft. well i'll just write facts instead >__>; none of mine is really interesting.

1) I have a hard time drawing on the computer D8; I actually never do it except for oekakis and such. Other than that.. i draw it out in pencil and scan.

2) I like to listen to music while I work. *agrees completely with mikageakizuki* it sets the mood *nod* and if i haven't started something then usually i just stare at a blank sheet of paper with music playing and something sooner or later will start to form ^^

3) in relation to #1, i draw waaay better on pencil and paper. If it didn't look so boring, and if i didn't really want to practice coloring XD; i'd probably just submit black-and-white sketches the whole time >__>;

4) I tend to draw male characters more >>; though... most of my guys look really girly! though its really strange >\ i draw a guy at school and everyone asks if its a girl but when i actually TRY to draw a girl they ask me if its a GUY! DX IM LIKE WTF?!

5) I suck at drawing bgs, proportions, different angles from either above or below and even side views, feet, chests --- ....... i just have lots to work on ^^ ;

6) I like drawing, that sometimes i FORCE out things. I wont be in the drawing mood, i wont have inspiration, i'll be dead facing a drawers block yet i still grip my damn pencil and try to draw. : \ it always turns out crappy... and then i get frustrated with myself. 7) I've been drawing Anime-ish type stuff since--- the 4th grade i believe. 'cept i didn't know it counted as Japanese style-art. My sister actually is the first to ever get me drawing it. She showed me a picture her friend drew, and i copied and copied it until i could manage to remember. >>; she actually ordered me not to draw it (*can't remember why*) but i did XD; And i don't remember if she ever found out or got mad at me ;

8) I drew my first comic thingie in the fifth grade XDD and oh hod! Its horrible. i still have it in my room somewhere. And yes, its still in the straight across format XD; its a curse of mine, i don't think i'll ever learn how to do actual manga-style frames or anything .__.

9) I draw more at school then i do at home >__>; yes sad. because that means i'm not paying a lick of attention. I always put what we're suppose to be focusing on top. And don't get me wrong. i always finish my work... and i pass D: ... so i don't know why those teacher give me "the look" - - yes.. by the end of the school year, all my teachers and classmates know I draw... its unavoidable >v> but WHAT i draw shall remain hidden.
