Secondly, the Sims 3 expansion pack. I've played around with it a bit now, but not enough to say anything big about it. I'm enjoying it so far, even if the loading times are killing me. There's also a lot of loading done AFTER the loading screens. It is quite distressing. And slow. Very slow. Martial arts, however, is really cool.

Thirdly, Soldiers Of Jah Army's "new" album. I say "new" because it actually came out in August, but I just now have it. It's a lot more peaceful than their previous ones, and its also much sadder. It deals a lot with love this time, and it has some very beautiful breakup songs that have said some things to me. I love this album a whole lot.

Anyway, I thought maybe probably not you might like to know what's going on with me.

Well, I'm single again first of all. That's okay, but I wish I wasn't.

Work sucks. School sucks. Everything seems to suck and be boring. I need to do new stuff or I'll go crazy. The internet remains stale and mostly uninteresting to me, but I'm drawn here more and more recently.

I've been playing lots of games since I stopped hanging out here. Batman Arkham Asylum was awesome, though I didn't play it for very long. Beatles: Rock Band is super awesome, and more playable for me than Rockband 2. Scribblenauts is eh. It could have been better. I absolutely love Borderlands, but I'm not getting through it fast enough. I'm also playing a bit of dwarf fortress here and there. It's confusing, though, so its a slow learning.

Sims 3 expansion comes out in two days, and you all know what that means.

Anyway, I don't really know what much art I'll be putting up, if any. I do some stuff with GIMP, but most of it is stupid. I've been thinking about what sort of silly stuff I could doing, but I don't know right now. I'll just see what happens.

Haven't said anything in a long time.

Basically I'm a very angry sort of person lately. Sort of.

Anyway, been getting into gaming pretty heavily. Pretty much done playing Sims right now, mostly because my computer died and it just stopped being fun after awhile. Right now I'm hitting Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires pretty hard, while still finishing up Bully. I'm also playing two Xbox Live: Arcade titles: Age of Booty, which is a really fun pirate themed strategy game. I'm also playing The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, which is as hilarious as the original.

Past that, not much is up. Things with girls is about the same, I haven't done anything creative in the last far too bloody long, and I've got a general disinteresting in things related to internet recently.

Bleh, I really haven't said anything important in this whole thing. You can shoot me now.

Right now, I'm playing a character I fondly named "Oldmun Jenkins". Lightly based off the main character in The Old Man and the sea, he loves the outdoors, is a fisher, is good at handyman stuff, he's a heavy sleeper, and is very friendly. His goal in life is to have the perfect aquarium, which means he has to catch 13 perfect fish and put them all in fish bowls. It's pretty awesome. He has no real job, and he makes all his money through opportunities in the community and fishing.

I'm having a blast. And even though it was just released, I want details on the first expansion pack. XD EA is so evil, but with Sims, there's so much you can put into it.

I also saw Star Trek on the third. It was absolutely amazing. After watching it, I mused to my companions about tracking down everything else in the series and watching it. They laughed, then agreed with me. Hehe.

Also got a new Bob Marley poster. It's a picture of our favorite reggae legend performing on stage. Above him reads:

While getting Sims 3 at Gamestop, I resubscribed to Game Informer. No idea why, but 15 bucks for 12 months is pretty good deal, methinks. Anyway, on the list for the rest of the month is to beat the first Overlord before the second one comes out on the 21st. The second one looks INSANE. In a totally good way.

Last night, Amanda got back from Florida. She also got a haircut. IT IS SHORT. IT IS SO INSANE. So her, Erin, and I watched the Princess Bride. Absolutely awesome movie. Hey, would anybody like a peanut?

$6.45 an hour to make pizza and stock a fridge. Heck, I've worked three times this week already, and probably will twice for the next two weeks. First paycheck is the eleventh of May, and by that time I'll have made about one hundred bucks already. I feel special!

In other news, my friends and I have a list of movies to watch. There's roughly 35 on the list, so we're gonna be... watching movies for quite awhile. First on the list, Princess Bride. Is gonna be GREAT!

- 3.2 weeks left of school. Everything is getting more relaxed around here. I expect a couple of classes to be out of ciriculum to teach soon. I'll have to find something entertaining to do with my time.

- Considering canceling my WoW subscription. It just isn't that much fun anymore. I find much more entertainment in single player games with a lot of replayability rather than repetative MMO's.



- I GOT ME A JOB. I'll soon begin working at the gas station making pizzazzzzz. Now I'll have the money I need to support how freakin' nerdy I am. Woo!

And... that's about all I can think of. I've really been saying to myself that I need to start exercising, but I'm too much of an idiot to actually do any of it. Ah well, temperatures are starting to get better. Maybe I'll start running on weekend mornings again. Then all mornings once summer comes around. I always loved running.

Next month, I get my driver's license. Now I need a vehicle. The month after that, The Sims 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Overlord 2 come out. Looks like I'm getting that job just in time. XD

So, Eragon was near death. I was near cheering. And then a bumblebee flew by his head, and he was like "... IT'S SO AMAZING. A WORLD WITH BUMBLEBEE IN IT IS A WORLD I WANT TO LIVE IN." and then he got up and carried on.

BUMBLEBEES GIVE THE WILL TO CARRY ON. (NO, REALLY!)

Also, Sloan was the closest thing to a good character this damn book has, and Eragon punished him for it. Katrina was the only thing the butcher cared about, and Eragon makes him never see her again. And sends him, being blind, to wander the lands. All while being a mean bastard about it. I felt sorry for Sloan. The first person in that book I've ever felt any emotion towards. You know what the saddest part is? Paolini wants us to agree with Eragon.

Guess what, I don't.

So, I got accepted into the beta for Battlefield Heroes. [link] So far, it's a lot of fun. I've only played a few rounds, in which I lost about half of them. So, it seems there's balance between the two sides. What I really like about it is the character customization in it. I gave my guy a monocle. 8D


I'm writing again. I'm about 1000 words into my new project, of which I hope to have 25000 by the middle of April. Wish me luck! ^_^

Ear infection is getting better. I'm just starting to get the ability to hear in my left ear again. So yeah. Awesome. XD

Speech season ended on wednesday with Oral Interpretation of Drama getting fifth out of eight. We deserved much higher, though. We get cheated out of shit a lot. This means that not only do I no longer have to worry about my coach attempting to kill me for putting stuff off, but it also means that I can get more time to do other things.

After nearly failing Algebra last quarter, I've decided to get an A in the fucking class this quarter. We'll see how well that goes.

I've been sick since Tuesday. Today was probably the worst of it all, though. Bloody hell it's miserable being sick. Then again, it is about that time again.

I really need a new game. I've run Fable II into the ground a long time ago, and WoW is to the point where I don't want to be on it all the time again. Godfather II comes out April 17th. Need to think of a way to get mom to get it for me.

Aways back, GTA IV was delayed from it's original 2007 fall release to 2008 of April. Oh well, I think. Stuff happens. So I wait, and I eventually have it. Next release I'm getting, Fable II.

Now, Fable II itself was not delayed. (It could probably have used one with all the glitches and shit it had, though! XD) It was amazing. Then, there was news of DLC releasing! Awesome, I say! However, it's delayed. Twice.

Now it's out, right after my wireless adapter craps out. So, I STILL don't have my DLC.

Now on to the point. Godfather II was my release for Q1 - Q2. It was supposed to go out Feb. 21st. Noooooope. It's now delayed til FUCKING APRIL.

God damnit. What does a guy gotta do to become the Godfather?

Lot's of crazy stuff actually happened. First of all, we got stuck in the snow. We were driving through an ally, and there was ice on it. There was another car coming. We slipped on the ice. Aaron, le driver, made the decision to pull into a person's yard and get us stuck rather than hit the other driver or hit a pole.

We were stuck for about five minutes.

Then, while I was on the phone with sis, a good Samaritan came from the same ally we came from and pulled us out. You might call it just someone being a nice guy, and yes, it is that, but I think it was also God looking out for us.

After that, we went back and talked for about a long time, until the New Year. Then we watched Hortan Hears a Who. Which was actually not bad. XD

After that, we played different games off and on. It was quite the time.

My resolutions for the year are the same as last years. Lose weight, stop eating sweets, though this year I'm adding in drink less soda. It's either that or end up with diabetes, and I don't want that. I also want to work on art more, but eh, I never actually get that done. xD

And in all this business, I've had little time to relax. I have a New Year's thing at church tonight for which I am expected to bring my Wii.

And until then I have the day free. I planned to spend it talking to Kim and playing Pokemon (THANKS, KIM.), but now Kim has a stomach ache and I'm further convinced that Murphy is a fucking bastatrd.

I'm at the point in Brawl where it's not very entertaining to do singleplayer. The puzzles or obstacles or whatever are so damn annoying. I know they're made to test my skill and I should approach them carefully, but why the hell does there have to be a screen trying to catch up to me and killing me if I don't figure them out in time? Is it trying to improve my fast thinking skills? Good God.

Rock Band is fun.

I picked up Mass Effect for fifteen bucks at Gamestop yesterday. After skipping through all the tutorials and shit, I was killed. Going to attempt again some time and actually read the recommended instructions.

At some point today, I also plan to work on drawing. I need to practice.

My dad's side of the family is stretched out between two states. Now, this may not seem like anything unusual, and it really isn't. So...yeah, whatever! Anyways, every year, everyone in the family comes together for Christmas, also not unusual.

ANYWAYS. Tonight, some crazy shit went down.

On one hand, we have my cousin, Amy, who is, quite frankly, insane. She used to do drugs, she's claustrophobic, she has a social disorder which makes her afraid of crowds (probably the one I have, even if its self-diagnosed), but she's a lot of fun. On the other hand, we have my grandpa. Traditional as can be, stubborn to no end, and expectant.

Basically, grandpa argues quite a bit.

Anyways, onto the main point. Grandma decided that the 'kids' had to clean up the kitchen tonight after supper. The only people who had a problem with this was me and Amy. I was feeling down as it was, I was extremely tired, as always, and feeling generally lazy. After prodding from my parents and grandparents, I decided whatever.

Cousin wasn't so quick though. My grandma's kitchen is a really small kitchen, and there were already five people in there. Needless to say, that's considered a crowd as well as a small space. She freaked out. Claiming she didn't want to be treated a kid, she convinced her boyfriend to take her home. Seven hours away.

We stopped her, and after a lot of deep feelings and whatnot, there were apologies all around, even from my grandpa. That surprised me quite a bit.

Family is a powerful bond. It can cause love, hatred, anger, happiness, shock, and all matter of things.

As cheesy as it is, my point is this. Half the time, I hate my family. I want to leave this place all the time. I'd give one of my fingers to be elsewhere sometimes, yet, even if I were somewhere else, I wouldn't want a different family.

This made me think. Have I ever respected anyone in authority over me besides God and my parents? I don't really think I have. My parents and God are the only ones who have earned my respect, and the only ones I have consented to be ruled by. Everyone else who has had any sort of authority over me was put there without my will--without my consent.

I've never respected my teachers much, I've never respected the government. They expect it without cause, and respect isn't something I'll ever give without cause.

Anyways, on to business. I need to rant about two things upon this night.

First order of business, death to Twilight. Don't know if you all know, but I want to destroy this book, but can't find appropriate means to, so I plan to do a sporking of it starting around Monday. Guess what the number one topic was today in school? The midnight showing of Twilight. It was sold out. Very few times does the theatre that my town uses sell out. Just goes to show that the book is really good(sarcasm)!

Furthermore, I got a phone call tonight from my friend Amanda right when I was enjoying a good Rick Rolling. Yes, I Rick Roll'd myself. Anyways, the point is, she called right during the part where he was dancing. I picked up my phone and I'm like "You had best have a damn good reason for interupting Rick Astly."

Silence for a few seconds.

"You wanna go see Twilight?"

"Fuck no."

So yeah, death to Twilight. Death to the vampires which lack balls. Death to the writer who created this monstrosity. And most of all, death to Bella. Stupid bitch.

Now, onto my second point. My grandfather, though I love him, does not agree with me on a lot of things. Mainly those of loyalty to country and how a young man should appear. If you don't know, I have long hair. Grandpa does not like that. I do. We've argued about it quite a bit.

"I know when he'll cut his hair!" My grandfather said. "When he joins the military."

"I'm not joining the military, grandpa."

"You don't know that."

"I sure do. I'm a pacifist. I'll never cause loss of human life except for in extreme situations."

"You might not have a choice."

"If that's the case, I'm leaving the country."

At which point my grandmother jumped in, a terrified look upon her face. "No you aren't!" she says.

"If I have to to escape a draft, I will."

It quickly got into a discussion about how my family wouldn't exist if not for the military. Tis how my grandparents met, and how my parents met. Oh, don't get me wrong, I respect anyone who has served for what they believed in, but I don't believe in what I'd be fighting for.

Now, for my real point.

What is non-conformity? Non-conformity as I know it is refusing to accept the standard. To not be the same. To agree (with yourself) not to agree.

Non-conformists have been around for awhile. Forever, one would expect. No one wanted to admit that they disagreed early on, though. You could be killed for it.

More recently (WWI, WWII and on), the non-conformists have come out much more openly. In fact, non-conformists pop up everywhere.

Now, here's the kicker, if non-conformists are everywhere, does that mean that people are conforming to non-conformity?

Quite the philosophical question...

I think that in a way, people are, but not ALL conformity is bad. If you look throughout history, the greatest achievements are made by those who didn't conform and take things as they were. The founding fathers and those in the revolution all conformed to non-conformity. And from it, freed themselves from and unjust and illegitimate rule.

This has nothing to do with the fact that the current rule in that very freed country now has unjust and illegitimate rule.

So yes, that pretty much ends up this philosophical thinking.

I am currently 400 words short of today's words for NaNo. I'm done for the night, though, so yeah. Currently at 7,938 words. Woo!

I went to get my POP license today. Turns out I couldn't. I have to have had a learner's permit for six months beforehand. So, I tested for that instead. Failed. Mom is taking me to try again on Friday. I have some studying to do until then.

Today, I found something strange out. I was feeling really stressed, like something was going to happen that would be horrible. My chest hurt, and my breathing was strange. I got some tea, and searched through my music for soothing stuff. It turns out that the only thing I have that relaxes me is Afroman. That's right, I find a rap artists relaxing. Strange, right?

School is fucking gay. People are idiots. And math? Utterly useless. When the hell am I going to have to simplify radical expressions in the career of either a cafe owner or a writer? I mean, I understand that others might need it, and I have nothing against mathmeticians who actually understand this shit, but I don't get it. Anyways. I didn't do my math, because I still don't understand it.

I've been sick for the past week with some kind of crazy Nazi-cold. I've been increasingly annoyed with the idiots (and some of the teachers) at my school. I've been annoyed at my mother seeming to expect me to like two girls who I don't have interest in, mainly due to the fact that there's a different girl that I have been interested in for quite awhile...

Anyways, life hasn't been grand. I was considering just walking out of school and hanging out downtown today, even. I was so pissed at the world and at myself for letting this shit get to me, but finally, I got to go home. Ignoring the want to go straight to sleep, I decided to finally get some shit off my chest with mom.

So yeah, now mom knows, and strangely, didn't disapprove. She also told me she would tell no one else, and I believe her. I'm just not allowed to run off to Canada until I've graduated (like I thought any different. I'm broke, biotch!) So now I feel much better, since I generally ranted about everything else my life to mom as well.

I feel free.

In other news, my NaNo is now up to 4,010 words.

So yeah, the word count you have to get each day to make the 50,000 goal by the end of the month is 1,677. Today, I finished chapter one with 2,319

ANYWAYS! FABLE II IS AMAZING. THIS IS A CAPITOL LETTER!

Also, its true, you can buy any property in the game. There was a bandit who I killed at his camp, and now I can buy his camp. Its insane.

Anyways, I'm not entirely far into the game yet. So far, I'm a poor hero with nothing to his name besides a flintlock pistol, an iron longsword, some clothing, a small little gypsy building, and a fish stall. Its all rather...small! However, its a lot of fun.

A big thing, my "Ohsnap!" thing (that is, something that makes me say something like OHSNAP OHSNAP), is that when I was trying to cancel out of an interface with a press of the B button, it didn't cancel out. Instead, I cast my magic shock spell, sending people around me into panic. It was rather funny. XD

Anyways, I'll be playing more after awhile. Probably will get another journal entry.
