        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ A few months ago, I began work on Disreality. For me, Disreality represented a bold departure from what I had been doing as an artist. It challenged many of the conventions about my artistic methods that I had previously accepted without question. It inspired me to create weird, beautiful, and fantastic pieces. The very methodology of creating these pieces focused on exploring a part of myself, as well as following four very important rules:<br /><br />1. Always create something new that you've never done before.<br />2. The drawing doesn't have to mean anything to anyone but you.<br />3. Draw without a complete idea of what the final piece might look like. <br /> ]]></media:text>

I'd like to take a minute to explain my work and what it's all about. WUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!<br /><br />Yeah, I've been getting a lot of insane inspiration lately, but do you ever get those moments where it feels like you have something similar to writer's block? Where you have a brilliant idea, and you just can't get it out?<br /><br />It feels like the contents of my head are a thousand stories, but none of them is a comprehensible word. I need to get back into the habit of writing and drawing regularly. I think if I made it enough of a habit, maybe I could finally sit down and write a book or something. Or draw a comic.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I ditched Ubuntu yesterday. Now, you may ask...why did I do this? Moral reasons? Not really. Bored? Possibiliy. However, I think this needs to be said.<br /><br />Ubuntu is not good enough for me for artwork. Oh sure, GIMP is fine. I love GIMP to death, don't get me wrong. It's not GIMP that is the problem. It's Inkscape. And gPaint. And just Gnome art applications in general. GIMP itself is fine, but many GTK art applications have fallen short for me. So, I tried out some KDE ones, and was blown away.<br /><br />However, I won't be the first to tell you that I think KDE on Ubuntu (and by extension, Kubuntu) is absolutely horrible.
