-In case you're wondering, I've been watching the news, listening to how 12 soldiers were killed and 31 wounded in a shooting at Fort Hood in Texas.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. Ten bodies have been found so far on the property of a registered sex offender. They FOUND the bodies after a woman reported being raped at his home.

AND THERE'S MORE. So i was all excited when I found out that Maine was going to legalize same-sex marriage and then BOOM. Fifty-three percent of voters voted YES on Question 1, which would repeal the law to legalize same-sex marriage.

Will I make a lot? Probably not. I have homework and projects, and some serious procrastination issues ((why do you think im making these anyway XD))

So anyway, I started a French class today. Three hours a day, every Mondya and Wednesday for five weeks. By the time I start school starts, I'll have already completed my first year of foreign language. FUCKYES.

Yup. In a matter of three hours I learned a bunch of verbs, how to conjugate these verbs, indefinite and definite pronouns and a WHOLE BUNCH OF OTHER STUFFS

My dad said I should take SPANISH because a whole crapload of people speak Spanish, so it'd be useful. Which is a REALLY good reason to take Spanish! But I LOVE FRENCH. Even the word for TRASH CAN is pretty! AND THE FOOD. OMG FRENCH FOOD IS OM NOMNOM. So yeah. French class ftw.

It makes me hopeful, like maybe some MORE states will legalize it!

Now, for the INCONVENIENT TRUTH ((no im not talking about global warming or any of al gore's crap XD))

To my understanding, twenty-nine states have constituional bans against gay marriage. Another sixteen states have laws that ban gay marriage, but it isn't in their constitution. Some of these states provide civil unions or domestic partnerships; however, these do not allow the same rights to the couple as a married couple has, such as tax breaks, survivor benefits through Social Security, and visiting a spouse in the hospital.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I know a ton of people who disagree with gay marriage for a variety of reasons ((like religion)). But when the opinions of others lead to diminished rights for U.S. citizens, it's not okay.

In my opinion, every state should legalize same-sex marriage. If enough people disagree with it, then petitions can be signed. For each state, a petition with at least 55,000 signatures has to be formed. Then, it can be put to a vote whether or not same-sex marriage should be legal. If enough people vote against it, the state can ban it, whatever. But if the majority of that state's population is FOR it, then I guess it's for the best, don't you think?

So, now I want to ask you guys your opinions of same-sex marriage. Do you think it should be legalized all over the country? Why or why not?

Oh hay I'm back!
I ACTUALLY GOT BACK YESTERDAY. I JUST DIDN'T POST A JOURNAL.

Lol I don't really now what to post in this journal. The vacation was okay; we spent the entire time on the beach. Which wasn't as fun as I thought; it's not like you can SWIM when you've got waves slapping you in the face and stuff. And looking for shells gets really boring/old. And it's not like I'm just going to LAY THERE. And possibly TAN. BUT HEY I GOT THIS AWESOME SHIRT THAT SAYS "PADDLE FASTER! I hear banjo music!" which makes no sense unless you've seen 'Deliverance'. Or maybe it does; I thought it was funny even before I got the movie reference!

DAMNNN SCHOOL TOMORROWWW
That means homework! And projects! And ESSAYS! And... and... HOLIFISH WE GET OUR BATMAN MUSIC IN BAND TOMORROW YAYYYYZZZZZ

Ohyes. But that's the only good thing other than lunch and buddies.

UHM RANDOM: The beach we stayed at was Madiera Beach. And the hotel-place we stayed at was across the street from the beach. And this hotel in front of our hotel ((IT WAS ON THE BEACHHH)) was called Del-Mar West. So when I saw it I started cracking up and my parents didn't know why. Ohemgee. It was 75 degrees today. IT'S MARCH IN INDIANA, IT'S NOT SUPOSSED TO BE THIS FUCKING WARM.

BUT DUDE I'm not complaining; I put on some shorts and went outside! And then my "aunt" Lee Anne and "uncle" Jim came over with my "cousins" Lindsey and Sarah and WE HAD A COOK OUT

...but then after that was done our parents went down to the bar to play some pool, leaving us to BABEHSIT. Babysitting is never fun SO I took a CD player outside, plugged it in, and started playing a mix CD on it. Which was awesome, until I saw a cop car come by our house. And it was kinda slowing down, so I'm like "OHHHSHITTTTTTTT. SHIT. SHIT. SHIT. MOTHERFUCKING SHITTTT." because it was 8 PM, and the music was turned up all the way, and it was some PUNK ROCKKK,

But the cops didn't come to our house YAYYY XD
I told my parents when they go back and they were like "Oh, they wouldn't ARREST YOU. They'd ask you to turn it down first. Unless, you know, you were doing something ELSE" XD

So uhm yeah! That was my Saturday!
Oh and I also went skating today and my ANKLES WENT NUMB. YEAH!

i bet tommorrow will be pretty kick ass too

My little brother had a really high fever yesterday, so mom kept him home (her day off). He's still sick today, but mom and dad have to work. SOOO, I got to stay home and take care of him. My mom's going to take a few hours off of work to take him to the doctor.

I really like a genre of music called Death Cabaret (artists like Voltaire, Birthday Massacre, Emilie Autumn...) so I just kinda changed it a little bit XD

And I joined because everyone on the ASN Practice Oekaki had one, plus I just wanted to post art (HAHA AND LOOK AT ME NOW XD)

UHM, SO I WAS WATCHING AVATAR, and then I started watching iCarly, and I figured that those shows must be ripping each other off or SOMETHING when it comes to the main characters. I LUV IT.

SRSLY. Carly is Katara, Sam is Toph, Freddie is Aang, and Spencer is Sokka.

-Katara and Sokka are siblings, so are Spencer and Carly
-Sam is sarcastic, kick ass, and blunt, and so is Toph
-Spencer is an artist, and COME ON. ADMIT IT. SOKKA IS PWNSOME AT ART XD
