Its been an entire year since I've updated my journal... Where has the time gone? So much as happened that it makes my head spin. Most of it makes me want to cry and throw things but there were some good things. So I guess I'm not happy but complacent with my life at the moment. Trying to get a few problems worked out and trying not to let other things in my life stress me out too badly. Sadly, I'm not really looking forward going somewhere for Thanksgiving. I've come to realize a few things the past couple of weeks, some of which I'd already known but just didn't wanna believe. I think I'm going to take down some of my recent photos...they're not the best in the world but then again I think most of my photos are horrible looking. I'm my own worst enemy most of the time which I'm actually trying to work on. I've also realize that I can't always make everyone happy no matter how hard I try or how much I want to and that is something that kills me and those who know me well enough know its true. I have to learn to let go of somethings in the past that still bother me and just let them work themselves out cause every time I've tried to fix things it makes them much worse than what they were to begin with. I've also realized that some people just live to make other miserable and that I just have to learn to deal with them the best I can and leave it at that not letting it get to me as bad anymore. And I've also realized that if people don't like me that I can't let it bother me anymore cause I will only make things worse on myself by trying to make them like me if they already don't and if they were friends to begin with and they don't want to be my friend anymore I have to let them go no matter how much it hurts or makes me angry because i don't understand why. Most people already know these things but I'm so damned hard headed it takes things awhile to get through to me. I know I'm not the best person in the world but that doesn't mean people have to constantly remind me of all the reasons why and make it painful for me. I guess things will never go the way I want them to no matter how hard I try or cry. I will just learn to deal with life and all the people in it better than I do now and hope come out better for it. Hopefully in less pain and a lot less crying...

Well what I didn't think could happen did...I'm broken. Totally and completely broken. I never thought my stubborn spirit could be broken but it did... I'm sick of people and all the stupid drama they start because they feel the need to make themselves look better and make others look like the bad guy just because of something stupid that happened either recently or long time ago. I'm sick of having my past mistakes brought up everytime someone gets even the slightest bit annoyed at me or when they claim i've done something to them. I'm sick of trying to make them happy and getting basically spit in the face for it and told its not good enough or that i'm not good enough. I'm tired of being miserable because not everyone in the damn world likes me or if one of my friends are acting pissy just because someone has said that i've done something and they just assume that I've done it so they get angry and stop speaking to me or start acting like bitches and bastards towards me. I'm tired of being a doormat and punching bag for you people...LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE! you know who you are... I'm honestly thinking of deleting all my chats all my rp characters and screen names and profiles on all the sites i go to save for maybe one or two sites... Daddy is home from the hospital and is actually doing really well so far. I was so scared something was going to go wrong. I'm just so glad that he's doing good and is finally home. Work is still hell...I hate spilt shifts. I wish boss lady would just hire someone already... One a completely different note I feel like I'm being isolated from my friends but maybe its just me. ...Well...this absolutely scares me too death. I know i'm probably over reacting but I don't care...My daddy is in the hospital and is going to have to go through open heart surgery... The doctor said that they were surprised that he hadn't dropped dead from a stroke. They also made it worse by saying that if he'd had heart attack that he wouldn't survive... I'm so worried about me...This scares me so bad... I don't want to loose daddy...Mama said they had the best doctor for him to perform the surgrery...I sure hope so...

Just got back from Thanksgiving with my daddy's side of the family which is always an awesome time though it was kinda sad cause my cousin Kevin wasn't there. Well my brother and I just got the life scared out of us but I suppose that what car wrecks do to you. My brother and I had gone to get Chinese from Hunan's which is where I work for those who don't know. We were heading home and it was raining. We'd gotten to the intersection about half way home and we had the green light and apparently so did this other woman. We didn't stop cause she was supposed to yield for on coming traffic but I guess she thought she could make it. I told my brother to watch out for the car but it was too late. Next thing i knew I was sore as all hell and couldn't see as my glasses had been knocked off my face when my head bounced off the window. Thank God for seat belts but my God do they hurt.... No one was hurt but we're all sore as living hell... I was amazed at the people who had turned up to check on my brother and I. Honestly some of the people that showed up I didn't expect at all.. But i'm glad all the same. I'm just glad that my brother is okay...I don't know what I'd done had anything serious had happened to him in that wreck. Its gonna hurt to move for the next couple of days but I think we'll make it

Today started out great...got to take some pictures and goof off with a friend I haven't seen in a while and then i get the call that just really turned everything sour...I just learned today that my boss man died from internal bleeding in his stomach that they couldn't stop... He was such a good man and a very awesome boss. Always goofing off and cracking jokes with us and everything and now he's gone...I just really want this to all be a bad dream when i wake up in the morning....The other thing about this that sucks is now that my boss man is dead...I'm out of a job til further notice...Life really sucks right now

This is a deviation with a bit of a difference...

As some of you may already know (and for the benefit of those that don't...), Nadia aka ^bleedsopretty who is a GD of the Resources gallery alongside Nick ^thespook, has recently been diagnosed with an advanced case of Multiple Sclerosis (MS)...

MS is, at best, an unpredictable and debilitating illness that through the formation of lesions (scars) and inflammation affects the central nervous system. Symptoms are wide ranging and often severe including loss of movement and sensation, loss of coordination, visual impairment and speech impairment as well as severe pain. It's a progressive illness which currently has no cure. Fortunately there are medications and treatments that can be administered to slow it's progress and arrest temporarily the appearance of new symptoms. Unfortunately for Nadia, most of her treatments have resulted in further attacks and adverse side effects and, as a result, she is currently looking to undergo a course of chemotherapy aimed at subduing her overactive immune system as a last resort.

Nadia and Nick have been together for some years, despite Nick living thousands of miles away in Australia. Nick has been a constant source of support for Nadia throughout the progression of her illness and at this very moment is preparing to travel to the US to finally be with Nadia full time.

This deviation is to promote the sale of a DVD containing 150 photographic stock textures, many of which I submitted prior to closing my account some months ago. The images are unmanipulated and come straight from the camera/s. Many of you may be familiar with the quality of my stock and I can assure you you won't be disappointed. Anything released on this DVD will not be resubmitted on dA in future.

All sale proceeds will go towards helping Nick and Nadia settle into their new life together and fund the little things like travelling expenses for treatments and sundry medical costs. I am going to personally cover postage and production costs. None of the proceeds are coming to me.

The images are all at least 2304x3072 and original. Some have been cropped very slightly smaller but we're talking 3 or 4 at most. All are suitable for full overlays on manipulations intended to be printed at 8"x10"... most will stretch to 16"x20". There are no restrictions for usage with these - they are sold with a full royalty free license and can be used for commercial use if required.

The price for each DVD is $14.95US which is nothing when you compare the cost of mass produced stock library CD's. This can be paid by Paypal to Nicks account using gotspook@gmail.com . Once Nick has confirmed payment I will dispatch the DVD to you as soon as possible. Please allow a week or two for delivery as the British postal service is notoriously unreliable!

Well i just got the news yesterday that my church's youth pastor's wife finally died from colon cancer...She'd hung in there for so long and we even thought she was going to make it at one point but we were wrong. The whole time she was telling her husband and family that they weren't gonna be mopey all the time and were going to try and be happy. That takes a lot of strenght...I know i couldn't do that. I ask that we give her memory a moment of silence as she left this world to be in a much better place, I just hope her two daughter understand. *sighs* Things like this make you really think sometimes...I know they do that to me...
