Okay, so the show is FINALLY OVER! THANK GOD. No more spending an ungodly amount of time in that cold church. No more singing with this damned cold. And no more Danny, the little boy who plays my son in the play who managed to piss off every single cast member enough to the point of wanting to shove him down the stairs. Thank god.

All in all, all of the showings went rather well. Saturdays was fairly good, and it even ended with a bang.

Apparently, the phrase 'break a leg' isn't one I'm supposed to take literally. My mistake. About five seconds after the show saturday night, a few of us went backstage to go around to the front of the church to greet people. Upon descending the stairs however, I missed the last step, landed on my left foot, and rolled my ankle. An x-ray later, and apparently I have a severely sprained ankle. A sprained ankle, and one more showing Sunday morning.

Which I did.

Severely drugged up, but I did the damn play nonetheless.

What brilliant timing I have, hmm?

But hey, I'm still glad the play's over, as this gives me much more free time. Hopefully I'll have some things to put up fairly soon. If not, I give you permission to tar and feather me til hell won't have it again.

Okay guys, I'm still alive... I guess. I've been <9000 times busy with this god damn play. I've got a relatively small part, but I'm second in command with the scenery. My days have been filled with running up and down stairs to sing, yell in Irish brogue, and paint like hell in a room that smells very strongly of cat urine. Yey. We're only about halfway done painting all the buildings n' shit, and the play starts next Thursday. Thankfully, we don't have school this week, but this still leaves me very little time for socializing with anybody that doesn't know the words to Seventy-Six Trombones. To top it all off, I've got the longest, worst cold in history that had thoroughly fucked over my voice... Apparently, I need that for singing.

Oh, and I've got more senior project shit due on monday... I should probably start that.

So, I'll be back alive the week after next, hopefully. I SHOULD have a mixture of Bad Comics, random original crap, and photos of the Music Man scenery that I know no one cares about whatsoever, but will still be clogging up your inboxes anyway.

I'm going to see Evil Dead the Musical today with my buddy Jesse. We have seats in the 'Splatter Zone.' In case you don't know what that is, it means that we'll be sitting close enough to get soaked with fake blood. And there will be lots, I guarantee you. I'm so excited.

On another note, my choir is putting on The Music Man this year. I have a feeling it's gonna kinda suck, but at least we have a good leading lady. As for our main guy... well, as I said, at least we have a good leading lady. I was cast as Mrs. Paroo, the leading lady's angry Irish mother. During the auditions I pulled an Irish accent out of my ass, and everyone loved it. Hah. Rehearsals have been a bitch, but whatever.

Coffee House (sort of like a talent show without a prize) was awesome. , my friend Steven, and myself did the Star Wars a Capella thing by moosebutter, which got quite the response. Fun shit.

Oh, and in advertisement news, my old teacher's daughter just started up a keychain business. They're so adorable, it makes me want to punch a baby. So, check out the site!

After finishing the Rogue Skies Round 1 comic, I posted three, and worked a bit on the lines for the others, then realized I had to get up in three hours. I'd planned on putting up the rest in the morning.

However, my alarm clock phailed me, and I woke up at 6:40 when my zero period class starts as 6:20, so I didn't have much computer time obviously.

Apparently, my failure to put up the rest of my pages in time has made me marked as a 'Forfeit.'

That was pretty fun. First of all, we stayed at the Circus Circus, which, if you don't know, is a huge hotel/casino with an AWESOME arcade. I own3d it up in House of the Dead 4. My trigger finger still hurts.

And at the air races... Well... Truth be told, I didn't really see much flying. My time was spent at the PLAYSTATION TRUCK.

IT. WAS. AWESOME.

I'm so glad I decided to leave the VIP tent(Which I had full access to) and look around in the dry, hot Nevada weather. Otherwise, I would have never discovered that glorious, inexplicably air conditioned place. They had games that weren't even out yet. It was amazing.

Of course, I spent all of my time playing Metal Gear 4... but still.

I played so much the dude running the place gave me free stuff... for playing.

I got a Little Big Planet Handbag... So, now I'm obligated to get it, otherwise I'll feel like an asshole wearing it.

Of course, I was having so much fun, I only got... five comics done. So. Whoops.

I'll have them up soon enough. I guess.

In other news, I'll be leaving for the Reno Air Races tomorrow after school. So. Hot Nevada weather, mixed in with the smell of beer and vomit, as I try and paint kids faces as they squirm around in the chairs. Should be a blast.

I'm going to attempt to make thirty comics by tomorrow, so my buddy Billie can post them online for me while I'm gone.

Not sure I'll be able to do it, we'll see.

My photoshop is locking me out... It refuses to open for me. REFUSES. It hates me.

And I don't have epic, three hundred dollar markers like does. So my first SDL duel turned out crappy, and uncolored, with speech bubbles written in my HORRIBLE handwriting and crappy lines inbetween panels drawn in at the last second with a thick sharpie that was running out of ink. WHAT THE HELL, MAN???

Oh, and I'm sick today. I'm gonna go crawl under a blanket with a bottle of white rasberry tea and a box of cheez-its. OH WAIT, WE DON'T HAVE ANY CHEEZ-ITS.

The only good news that I'm slipping in to this, is that I forgot to mention that at SacAnime I was able to meet the voice actor who plays Touga (Utena), Tsume (Wolf's Rain) Alucard (Hellsing), and of course some generic soldiers in METAL GEEEAAR FOOOOUUUUR. Apparently, Richard horvitz did the whole generic soldier thing too. I caught his voice amongst the screaming and explosions one day. It was awesome.

AND I got to meet the voice actor who plays.... OPTIMUS.... EFFING... PRIME.

We went to Sac Anime today, instead of going the whole weekend because of my uncle hanging out with us, but it was still awesome. Unlike Fanime, I was the only Chell there, and I could barely move a couple feet without pictures being taken of me. People were also impressed because I'd stuffed a stereo inside of my Companion Cube and hooked my Ipod up to it, so Still Alive and The Device Has Been Modified kept coming from it. I was tackled many times.

Had a few technical difficulties, like when one of the side panels on the cube suddenly fell off, my heart definitely skipped a beat or two. Thankfully, we'd brought the staple gun in case of just such an event, and it was back on within seconds. Also, a piece of my leg attatchment kept falling off, but nothing five pounds of electrical tape couldn't fix. It was very fun, and I got some sweet crap, as this was the first Con I'd attended while having access to my paychecks. I got Thirty Days of Night, the comic, a large button featuring the GARlasses, another button featuring SNAAAAEEEEK, A T SHIRT featuring the GARlasses, a keychain of Koenma from Yu Yu Hakusho, and an Otacon bookmark that was given to me at the end of a con by a new artist friend of mine.

And best of all, I got to sing Still Alive on rockband in the gaming room while dressed as Chell.

And all this with only three hours of sleep and a rockstar in the morning. WOO.

It was a good day.

I say 'second disc', because the evil and grotesque Walmart initially provided us with a defective copy, which we spent two hours trying to make work, called a GameStop employee for advice, and then went back to Walmart and exchanged it. I've never been so pissed off at a movie in my life.

I knew that they couldn't get Rachael Weisz for this one, so I assumed that they'd make it so that she'd died recently, and that Maria Belo's character was going to play Rick's new girlfriend or something. I never thought that they would actually make her into Evelyn. She sucked. Her fake accent sucked, her attempts at Evelyn's old lines sucked, her talking about their previous adventures sucked. What were they thinking?

Admittedly, it wasn't just her that made the movie a complete and utter failure. It was badly written, the cg effects were poorly done, and they reused too much crap from the previous ones. Oh, and Alex had an American accent. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!

Pros of the movie... sort of:
Jet Li's an amazing actor, but his character was so unlikeable. I at least felt sorry for Imhotep, when Aunk Su Namun turned into a super bitch. None of that for our Chinese mummy.
Jonathan is always good, no complaints there.
Michelle Yeoh is a great actress, love her to death.

And that's it.

Just had to get that out there.

The name of the game is to list ten things about your art, then tag ten people to do the same:

1. Usually, it'll take me 10+ sketches to get a drawing the way I want it.
2. I agree with Jess, girls are much easier for me to draw.
3. I'm going to edge away from fanart quite a bit, and focus on original stuff. And boy, there's a lot of it.
4. I am probably one of the main causes of tree destruction. Way too much paper.
5. I am so addicted to drawing, that if I were stranded somewhere with absolutely no access to pens or pencils, or any sort of drawing utensil, I would use my own blood... Creepy, huh?
6. I've been trying like hell to find my own style that doesn't look like anime.
7. When I'm drawing a person's face, my own face will unconsciously take on the expression of the drawn face... I've gotten a lot of wierd looks because of that.
8. I suck at perspective drawing, but I think I'm getting better.
9. To approve a drawing, I have to not look at it for a day, then if I still like it when I see it again, I'm okay with it.
10. I don't actually draw a lot of comics, but that's going to change. Especially since it's my senior project.

Now, to exert revenge on the innocent...

still in Seattle, but I was bored, and my grandparents are out of the house, so I figured I'd make use of their dial up... Seriously, it took me about twenty minutes to check my DA messages. But, at least it's some form of Internets, however crude. I've had a pretty fun trip so far. The drive up was rather uneventful, aside from the hotel. My friend and I stayed up pretty late running around the two floors basically playing Counter Strike. And by that, I mean we would attempt to sneak up on eachother, point our fingers at one another, and say bang. I pwn3d. I did accidentally pull my gun on a civilian once, and I think I scared the crap out of her daughter, but it was so worth it. Then, on the first day we were here, my friend and I went kayaking. I 'accidentally' rammed into my friend's kayak, who proceeded to lose balance, and fall into the freezing water about 100 yards from shore. All in all, it was a good first day. The rest of the time, we've been shopping in Port Townsend, having ridiculously good pizza, and goofing around at the beech. Oh, and taking care of our new kitten, Henry. We found him a few weeks ago at the airport. My buddy and I wanted to name him 'Ocelot,' but we were shot down. Oh well. I'll send in some pictures later.

It's really beautiful, and somehow I manage to beat the crap out of myself attempting to explore the beautiful scenery, whether it's stepping on an urchin, falling on a rock caked with coral, or falling fifteen feet off of a cliff, only to be miraculoudly caught by my father. No broken bones yet, but we'll see.

Also, during school we had this project where we had to make a small book about WWII... I've never drawn Hitler so many times in my life. Although, I actually find Stalin more fun to draw, and have sketched him on the front of several quizzes since then. I'll dig around my room to find one and scan it.

Speaking of WWII, my father owns a company that restores WWII airplanes, mostly Beech-18s or C-45s. And recently, he hired me as the entire graphics department. It's a nice job, I can listen to my iPod all day, sit at the computer, and I get hour lunch breaks. It's also nice, because when the boss (my dad) decides to sleep in, then I get to as well, since he's my transportation. The only real problem is the lack of air conditioning... And by Sithis, it gets really hot out there... *Shudders*

Also, I went to Disneyland with my choir. Lots of fun. Last trip, when we went to New York, my roomates and I almost killed each other, and so I expected the same this year, but we actually had a lot of fun, and I gained a friend and got closer to another because of it. Also, a crapload of inside jokes, yay!

And then my favorite part of my absence, was Fanime 2008. I dressed as Chell. I had the suit, the gun, the leg attatchments... and a two foot tall companion cube on wheels that I dragged around everywhere and kept all my crap in. I didn't even make it out of our hotel to try to get the the convention without a few people stopping to ask for my picture. It was AWESOME. I made the gun out of some plastic piping that I cut and shaped with my dad, along with a few portable LED lights that I'd painted blue, and some wire with electrical tape. The leg attatchments are made entirely of steel with a foam padding on the inside. They just sort of clung to my leg, no strap required... Of course, by the end of the day, they left wicked bruises on my calves, but it was so worth it. And then, my Companion Cube (Who was hugged by several strangers... and once humped... that was wierd) was basically a cardboard box with foam board spray glued on the sides, and a crapload of spray paint. It had a liftable lid that usually I would have to staple back on by the end of the day. I kept all by merch in there, along with the LIE I bought! I'll try and post some pictures soon.

So, that's basically it, I guess, aside from going to more airshows and slapping paint on kids faces for monies. I do love stealing their dollar bills.

Anyhow, I've really missed you guys, and I promise to try and make sure that I'm never gone for that long again.

No, but she likes to drink a lot. Potions, I mean.

Potions that up her fire magic, or heal her.

I'm afraid this is my last message. And, it's all my fault. I lied to my father, and deceived him when I knew it was wrong.
A long time ago, I had a friend I talked to all the time. And basically, I badmouthed my father to this friend when he didn't deserve it. My father found the said conversation, and this friend of mine said some very vulgar things to him. He never deserved that. So, he asked me not to speak to my friend anymore. And, I didn't. At least, until recently. I went againts my father's wishes, and contacted my friend through someone else. When my friend wrote me back, my father found out, and I decided to lie about it. And lie about it. And lie about it. It was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made.
When he asked me for the conversation, I even pretended I had deleted it. I told him that I'd forgotten the screenname of the person I'd contacted my friend through, just to buy myself more time to delete and edit things. To be honest, I'm a terrible liar. I was actually going to fess up the very next night, but my father found out before that. And so, now I am cut off from myspace and DeviantArt, and all of my wonderful friends here.
I'm so sorry... but I don't blame my father. And neither should any of you. It was my choice to lie. It's my fault. It was a stupid decision in so many ways to lie and deceive him in the first place. I won't be doing ot again. I'm sorry.


Jon, you rock so much. Stay cool, and I hope you like highskool. You're such an awesome friend.

Shelly... Man, I'm gonna miss you, girl! You're amazing, and I'll always remember you.

Well, that was unexpected. First off, let me tell you something. I never get valentines. NEVER! EVER EVER! Sure, I'd get those stupid little card things that come in the 35-packs for the class, or whatever, but an actual Valentine present? HA! The idea is laughable. While people walked around with giant teddy bears, and horrid mylar balloons, I'd lug my books around, otherwise empty-handed. So anyway, yesterday was my dear friend Corwin's birthday. I had no idea. I felt so bad when I found out, and I apologized to him, because I would have drawn him something if I'd known earlier. So, I figured I'd draw him a valentine card. Riddled with subliminal messages of course, but one of those 'Be My Valentine' cards nonetheless. I gave it to him, he was super excited, and then he pulled from his back back a little beanie bag dog with a cloth rose in it's mouth. My first Valentine gift... EVER. And from a Freshman too. Go figure.
