Owl City isn't that bad. Just don't listen to it over and over.
On the other hand, I cannot stand any more of Twilight. No, srsly. It just drives me to the brink of what little sanity I still have. Stephenie Meyer, what have you done to humanity?
So I'm incredibly excited about December. I love winter. Christmas makes me so happy. And guess what? My mom and I are quite possibly going to New York over the holidays! I'll be so happy to be in a place I can call home. I hate Indiana. New York is simply the best place in the United States. I'm dying for the photo opportunities and ice skating at Rockefeller. We'll also be looking at universities. I'm thinking FIT or NYU at the moment, among many others. My mom graduated from FIT with a textile design degree, and my dad graduated NYU in hotel and business. Of course, I'd be focusing on photography, but yeah. And I'd have a couple places to stay other than dorms. That is, if my family wants me.
But yes, I love December and the Christmas holidays. I'm doing Salvation Army Bell Ringing and the Fireman's Cheer Fund for Key Club. I love doing those. My parents and I are going to go see the Nutcracker. I haven't seen it since I was seven. =] The comes finals week. Ick. I have a bad feeling about some of my finals.
In other news, I've been sick. Last week I had swimmer's ear. This weekend I had a cold. I don't know how many tissues I've gone through. And icky cough syrup. It's supposed to be orange-flavored, but after .2 seconds it turns nasty. Luckily, I have vanilla mint chapstick. =]
I'm going to help my friend shoot a movie about the Scarlet Letter for her English class this weekend. Then I'm going to spend the night and we're either going to go ice skating or see A Winter's Tale at our school.
Thank you to everyone who commented, favourited, and watched me and my deviations. It means a ton. =]

</sub>

I haven't updated in over a month. But I've always been bad at updating things like journals and blogs and such.
I got the new Every Avenue album Picture Perfect! It's absolutely fantastic. My favorite tracks are Mindset and Saying Goodbye. I really wish I could go see them in concert.
Niespo's been working us hard. We've had two projects in the last three weeks. We have a major test on Friday. And apparently we started another project today, too. I don't know. I stayed home today in protest. Most school systems get Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, and President's Day off. We don't. But my dad thought it would be nice since he fought in the Vietnam war.
I'm bored to death in Health Careers and French. They're total cake classes. On the other hand, Precalc and AP US are killers. I hate that kind of stuff.
I think I'm going to drop PRIB at the end of the semester. If I can without Withdraw Failing, I will. Apparently I'm "not a photog" since I haven't attended the meetings. But we haven't had the money for gas for me to go take photos. And I'm not too keen on sports photos anyway. And I'm not writing this issue, so I'm just running stuff.
I've been riding every Thursday at the barn. It makes me so happy.
Friday I'm having a sleepover with my friend. She's having boy troubles, so I thought it would make her feel better. Then this weekend my grandparents are coming. I think they're staying until Thursday. Then they're going up to Chicago for Thanksgiving.
My laptop crashed this weekend. So I lost my bookmarks and iTunes and my settings and everything. We watched The Village, which I absolutely adored. I love how Lindsey points out things about the plot, like foreshadowing and such, and he also points out the cinematography. Too bad he won't tell us what the movie is.
Friday is my first riding lesson. I'm so happy that I get to start riding again. It's at Brush Creek Stables. So excited! The Ethnic Expo is also on Friday. It's quite lame, really [egg rolls are served at all booths, and they're all run by hispanics *eyeroll*] but I guess that's Columbus. On Thursday my parents and I are going into Indy so I can take photos, and we're going to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Friday I'm leaving for a camping trip with my friend until Sunday. I put Herbal Essences Paint the Town Red in my hair. I definitely don't recommend it. Ever. I looked like Ronald McDonald. No joke, my hair was candy-apple-red. So my mom attempted to put blonde in to make it better. Wrong move. It was worse. So she got this colour-stripper [I think it's called Color Oops or something] which made it a lot better. It was just super-light strawberry blonde. So then she coaxed me into putting in a copper color she picked out. Big mistake. My hair is red and looks fine, it's just not the color I wanted. I'm taking AP US History, PRIB [school magazine staff], Intro to Health Care, Drawing 2, French 1, Precalc, AP Lit, and Zoology.

I'm really quite happy with my classes, schedule, and teachers. Well, except for Intro to Health Care. It's way too easy, but if I want to work at a vet's office second semester of next year I need to take it. Whatever. It'll be an easy A.

I'm excited for the new language, although I miss Spanish terribly. And the two are so similar, I keep thinking in Spanish. But I like French and expanding my language horizons. I want to learn a bunch of languages, including Gaelic.

I'm also psyched for the dissections that we'll be doing in Zoology. And I love Reardon. I had her for Biology Freshman year, and she was amazing.

Currently we're drawing skulls in art. It's really pretty cool. I love Mr. Pulley's class. Well, art class in general, actually.

So there's this British dude, Simon Schama, who did a A History of Britain, which was part of BBC and the History Channel or something. Anyway, we watched episodes of it in AP European History last year, and he had such a cool voice. Well guess what? My English teacher, Mr. Lindsey, sounds so much like him! He said something and me and two friends who took AP Euro last year and are in his class this year, freaked out because he sounds so much like him. It was cool. Maybe a "you had to be there" moment.

Anyway, I've now finished watching all of the Death Note anime episodes. =] I love L/Ryuzaki, he's so cute! But why in the world would they use the name Lawliet? I know it's supposed to be pronounced "Law-light", but I keep seeing/saying it as "Juliet"- but replacing the "Ju" with the "Law". Oh well.

I can't wait until it gets cold again. I hate summer, and starting school right in the middle of August is genocide. But I guess I only need to deal with it this year and next year, and then I'll be off to University! Ohmigosh really? That's so close, though...

I want a boyfriend.
Konnichiwa everyone! I just got back from Japan- it was SUPERAMAZINGFANTASTIC! I had loads of fun, made a number of friends, experienced a lot of cool [and very odd] things, and of course took a ton of photos. I'll be uploading them after this weekend, my mom and friend are going up to Chicago. I'll have pictures of that too.
I also got a new iPod [black classic] because my video died when we were at O'Hare coming back. My headphone jack had been messed up for awhile, but it finially gave out. Now I can only listen to it through an iHome-type thing. I got a number of cool stuff from Japan, including a cold. One of the kids in our delegation got sick and was tested for swine flu. He didn't have it though, so that's good, because otherwise I'd have it!
Anyway, see all you deviants later. Sayonara!

</sub>

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of me becoming a photographer. And I'd like to think that I've grown a lot in my photography. I am proud of what I can produce. At school, I took photojournalism. And I'm now on P.R.I.B. (Public Relations Information Bureau)staff as a photog at my school. In two weeks I'm going to Japan as a student ambassador. That gives me a chance to shoot in a place that I'm not used to. Next year I'll also be taking creative photography. I just hope to become an even better photographer. Thanks DA for providing me a place to display my photography! <33

PS: I got green chucks!

</sub>
