So I was thinking about trying that whole 'draw every Pokemon' thing again (yes, again meaning i did start it before, but failed-- so badly that it wasn't even mentioned before...), but this time I'd like to do it a different way. I was thinking of just taking Pokemon requests, instead of doing them in order (soo boring). And they'll probably be really simple pictures-I'll try not to put too much effort into them, because I tend to get carried away, and my goal right now is more on the quantity side. XP
But this is not right now.. I've still got those Trainer portraits to do, so I can't be taking anymore requests at the moment. But it was a thought! Hopefully I'll be able to get to it soon.

It... is snowing.

As much as i love the snow, i dont like it flying up my nose when i'm trying to walk home in the middle of the night.
So i sat down on the train and this guy sat down next to me... and struck up a drunken conversation with me. Well with himself, i suppose, i didnt hear a word he said with my headphones on. I could hear him, it seemed like quite the interesting conversation, from the tone of his voice, gestures and movements.. and by god i could smell him.. or at least the alcohol on him. So i just sat there seeing how long he'd go. He'd stop for a few seconds and i'd sigh a bit.. then he'd start up again.. The dude was still going when i got out. I think he said 'bye.'
I hate weekend trains. I stepped out and i was not where i was supposed to be. (warning: approaching subway talk.. if you dont live in or frequent the city, chances are you won't know what i'm talking about...)
The A train (which was going local to begin with) had gone F without my knowing. So i sighed. Fine. I had to decide whether to go in the opposite direction back to Brooklyn and restart from there, or just continue to 14th to get to the L to the 6 (which i was debating on doing initially). I decided on the latter, and sighed again at not staying on the train. It took a good 20 minutes at least for the next one to come. =_=
And when it did, two stops later it decided to go A again- so i had to get off. =_= I switched there to the real F (another 20 minutes) and took that the one stop i needed to go. It smelled like a bum took a good crap in the 14th street station. Pleasant times.

It was snowing in the Union Square station, it made me happy.
No, it wasn't magic, it was coming through the grates..

Now, so late getting back, i have to do my homework. *SIGH*
Then i can get to my to-do list..

I miss my gf.

Muffins!

So.. I failed my midterm.
I didn't even know it was today! D:

My last css was starting to look a little tacky.. so i changed it to this simple little one. I tinkered with the colors a bit (i like purple, i'm sorry), and here you have it.. I also needed to update, as much as i still love Coraline, and want to strangle art thieves, that journal's been there for weeks.

So let's see... What happened since my last entry..?
Ah, Valentines day~ It was quite nice.. we went to Toys R Us where I got myself a Shaymin, then we went to Nintendo World, though only there for about ten minutes before they closed. So we wandered around the city for a bit more~

Shaymin? I just got it so i can laugh in the face of those hackers. I hate them. Do what you want, it's your game, but don't dare come to battle me with your glitch-ass Pokemon. I won't have it.
But thankfully my DS does work, even though it's quite busted. So i will be able to play Platinum!

I'll be waitin' in line, night before it comes out~
Though, what I'd like to play even more than Platinum.. Emerald. I don't know what happened to mine, and i miss it so much! I need to find it somewhere cheap, used, anything.. *sigh* I really want to play it. Diamond and Pearl are such a turn-off for me, the were, in my opinion, the worst games of the Pokemon series. Sorry peoples.. that's just how I feel.
Not to say they were bad games- they were great games... -but compared to the other generations..

What they need to do is remake Gold and Silver. I'd be all over that like... wow.. no joke. Those games were, hands down, the best.

But enough of that.. I've got so much to do! -And i want to do so much more! I've got ideas for things.. but i have to finish what's on my plate before i can go on.. *sigh*
So.. Does anyone know where i can get myself a cheap Emerald version..?

Good Things!

I saw Coraline yesterday...It was amazing- Go see it if you haven't. It was incredibly beautiful, and the ridiculous amount of effort they put into it really shows. Finally, a movie that was actually made to be in 3d, and not that pointless bull that they do just to try to get a reaction out of the audience. Also, it was a bit dark. I really like that sort of thing- Especially in a PG movie. Its not all happy happy pretty flowers and candy. No pop culture references or potty humor to rely on to make the audience happy. Its all elegant and exceptionally well done. Oh yeah, and it's all shot on a miniature set- with dolls and whatnot, everything is hand made, the sweaters knitted by hand ;_;, everything. I'd go on about how awesome it is, but that might take forever, and i'm sure ~XVideociraptorX will point out things i missed XD. So just go and see it.

I guess i found myself doing a series of the event legendaries. I just have Manafi left... and its not very motivating, XD I have no connection to Manafi at all. Never had one, never wanted one.. I don't really think it's very cute, either. Chinchou is much cuter. Buut I'm going to have to do it. Though i'll probably do one or two of the Trainer profiles first... I need to anyway, lol.

Bad Things!

Art thieves. I've stumbled across a good few of them recently.. And they make me want to strangle something. I've been coming across these awesome Pokemon Gijinka pictures, and they're all over the internet, but i just can't find the artist. [link]

Those are the Eeveelutions, and they're not my favorite of them all, because I've seen them everywhere. But this person has done almost ALL of the Pokemon, and they're absolutely amazing. But they keep getting ripped off by people! Blatantly stolen, and posted as their own. Things like that make me angry!

Anyway, i guess here are some good ways to tell if you've got an art thief on your hands, even if you haven't seen the original pictures before..

Inconsistent style, which is prevalent in most thieves, because they're not very smart.

Low quality, or tiny size, where the smaller view is the actual size. I guess these people just grab their favorite pics off of google or something. I don't know any artist who would work their ass off on a piece just to post it 200x200. Oekaki pics are an exception, because they're usually small to begin with.

The description. Again, if i worked hard on this picture and wanted to show it to everyone, I'd have something of quality in my description, not '

Yes, look at the pageviews/favorites. Wouldn't the art deserve more..? A lot more?

But I'll draw almost anything, from whatever anime/game/anything you want- again, so long as i have good reference. I have no problem with shounen/shoujo-ai.. There are things that I wont do, though.. like mechas, and X-rated things.

I Think God Hates Me..

My DS fell off my desk.... and it won't turn on.... >< first my tablet pen, now this..??
Its alright for now, i suppose, its not hindering me in any way, but Platinum is coming out soon... and.. Ugh! I'm so upset.. again... *headdesk*

I was thinking of doing it before.. but i suppose i might as well now: I seriously cut the prices of my commissions.. not to mention the nonsensical complexity of it.. Happiness

Well, school's started.. I'm glad the boredom is over. But

is soo awesome and lent me her tablet pen!!

The first thing i did was get right back to the Trainers..

has been waiting for a really really long time, I apologize again. I missed Photoshop... *sigh* I should be getting my tablet pen soon, and things will get back to normal! I did enjoy getting to work traditionally, though, and i'll do it more often. I guess losing this thing was a good experience for me! (minus the spending $50 bucks)

The Poke-Fanclub-

is having an event called the POKESWAP! (I like the whole caps thing, it reminds me of the game)
It's like Secret Santa, where everyone gets to draw (or paint or whatever you like) their randomly chosen Pokeswapper's trainer, favorite pokemon, or "pokesona". Anyone can join in- which is why i'm posting this here, it would be great to have as many participants as possible. But its a nice change, i haven't used my ol' copics in a good while. And its nice having a tangible piece that you can touch, and hold when its finished.
