I've always just sold at little markets (craftfairs and such) and only started online sales in November.. So I am still trying to find my way in the large markey of photography.

Are there any good pocket digital cameras that still have a view finder? The LCD eats batteries for snacks and when traveling its hard to recharge. Second requirement is that it uses SD memory cards as she already has a ton of them. 3rd is good optical zoom, the one we lost had a optical of 4x's zoom before it went digital.

I know my DSLR's but not much about the little lightweight point shot traveling cameras... Oh and as much manual options on the little camera is a big bonus... if anything except DSLR's still have manuals..

Could anyone suggest where to stay for low cost? As this is very last minute and
unplanned I don't feel right asking round for hosting so I'm hoping to get
information on accommodation's and what I should see with my single day to tour
around.

My room is halfway finished and since work will not be sending me home soon I've slowed down and taking lots of time with each step.

Bathroom is completely done.
First half of the room is painted and now just needs to be put back together.
Second half of the room will be completed after I come back from my travels.

On Easter Sunday I will be flying off to Paris for 2 nights. Then I will meet the kid at Paris airport and we will fly to Lisbon, Portugal. After traveling around Portugal we will tour southern Spain then head to Barcelona. I will then head home while the kid and my sister will fly to Morocco and spend time on a camel trek (I'm so jealous!) but I have to go back to work

Well now this is updated...

Remodel Projects:
Empty room
Remove walls
rewire electrical
rewire phone
rewire cable internet
new insulation and walls
mud and paint room
new floor installed
move back into room

All has to be done by March 1st with me doing most all the work.

As some of you know my pup had surgery and put me in the hole by $2500. I also have $4000 needed to pay the taxes on my family house, and my niece will be taking her 16th birthday trip to Europe for 3 weeks to Portugal, Spain and Morocco in which I have to contribute some funds to help cover cost. Yikes!! and its all has to be paid before March 25th :/

I just thought I would let you all know I do not "modify" my photographs unless stated otherwise. 90% of what I take is shown "as shot". I do use a digital camera and shot in raw format so there is some basic work to turn the photograph from raw to jpg and by basic i mainly just adjust white balance levels.

If I do modify a image I will always place that in my "comments" about the image.

What do you do with your digital images? are they as shot? modified with photoshop?
Do you use a lot of Dodge and Burn?
