I'm uploading lots of photos now that I have a camera, which is an improvement and I'm getting a little better at the post-edition thing, though I still refuse to do anything that goes beyond 'Dark Room' modification... I hope that I can find some people to collaborate before I leave here, I still wanna do that pin-up photo shoot that I was planning, but finding a location is a little hard and it's a little too cold and cloudy outside to even try that, but we'll see...

There was a chick one day that found itself in mortal peril being chased by a hungry fox. As it raced away trying to escape from the fox's claws, a cow that was standing nearby took a shit in the exact moment for it to land on the chick while it passed by. The fox came to a sudden halt not being able to see where the chick had gone until, from underneath a little pile of cowshit, came a ' peep'. Instantly, the fox launched itself onto it and ate the chik in one bite...

MORAL OF THE STORY: Not everyone who throws shit at you is your enemy and not everybody who takes you out of the shit is your friend, but when you find yourself neck-deep in it, DON'T EVEN MAKE A ' PEEP'.

Un dia, un pollito se encontro en el mortal peligro de ser perseguido por un zorro hambriento. Mientras corria tratando de huir de sus garras, una vaca que por ahi andaba defeco en el momento exacto para que sus heces cayeran graciosamente sobre nuestro pollito en cuestion. El zorro se detuvo anonadado, no entendiendo que habia pasado con el pollito o a donde se habia ido. En ese momento, se escucho un ' pio' que provenia de un pequeño monton de heces todavia humeantes hacia el cual el zorro se lanzo sin dudarlo un segundo, devorando de un mordizco al pollito...

It's been hell and heaven, I've been both shocked and soothed by the sudden change and the built-up anticipation. There's nothing better than having the time to sit and enjoy the view but I can't wait to start my new job in my new town. I have the opprtunity to join the staff of the recognized Marche Restaurant [link] as a Line Cook and all I need is to not blow it on my trial day (Wednesday). So life is pretty, my girl and I are happy together and her family has welcomed me with open arms, doors and hearts into a life I expected to be a lot harder. As of now I'm on a sort of hiatus until I can get my hands on a new camera, but I will be trying to post some of the pictures I've been taking with Betsy's [link] little handy Canon... - Después de mucho tiempo esforzándome por escribir algo que realmente tuviera sentido, recopilé esta serie de escritos cortos que son algo así como prosa versada y que he titulado "Amor o algo por el estilo..."

The girl that was gonna be my baby's mom (an ex-girlfriend) had an unfortunate miscarriage and there was nothing that could be done... I am quite depressed, but I'll eventually be alright. I've been trying to keep going on with my life as usual (a bunch of friends were visiting so there's been a lot of partying around) but, finally it took its toll in the form of a lung infection, so I'm going to lay low for a while and probably will write a lot, so you might see some new stuff on Poetry or Narrative sometime soon... I hope this finds you all well... lots of love to everybody and my best wishes for the coming year!

It's been a while since I last updated my journal and in that time I went through the first semester of culinary school, found out that I'm gonna be a dad (sometime in May next year), I fell in love with the most amazing woman that I've ever met (my beautiful Milwaukeean, Kate) and had to resign myself to the idea of losing her (in about 7 days from now), I hurt a very kind and beautiful girl (maybe beyond repair or forgiveness), lost communication with my best friends in life (one of them will probably read this soon) and disappointed pretty much everybody that has ever cared about me (but I promise that I'm gonna make it all better, I just need one last chance)...
In other words, I grew up. And as painful as it was I have to thank everybody that, in one way or another, were there for me and helped me through these very hard last months of my life.
It hasn't been easy but everything's looking up now... so, after opening my heart to the world I leave you all with that beautiful picture of my three-month-old baby... Take care everybody!

Finalmente, después de 3 días completamente comprometido con ello, terminé de revisar todo mi deviantWatch (el cual incluía cientos de mensajes y más de 1000 desviaciones)... Agregué muchos favoritos y disfruté sobremanera darme cuenta como todos crean arte espectacular día con día...
Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde la última vez que actualicé mi diario y, en este tiempo, terminé el primer semestre de la Licenciatura en Gastronomía, descubrí que voy a ser padre (en Mayo del año próximo), me enamoré de la mujer más maravillosa que he conocido (mi hermosa oriunda de Milwaukee, Kate) y me resigné a la idea de perderla (en 7 días a partir hoy), lastimé a una hermosa y cándida mujer (tal vez más allá del perdón y de lo que es reparable), perdí completamente el contacto con mis mejores amigos en la vida (una de ellos probablemente leerá esto muy pronto) y decepcioné practicamente a todas las personas a las que les he importado (pero prometo que me voy a reivindicar, solo necesito una última oportunidad)...
En otras palabras, crecí. Y aun cuando fue doloroso estoy obligado a agradecerles a todos aquellos que, de alguna u otra manera, estuvieron ahí y me ayudaron a sobrellevar estos difíciles últimos meses de mi vida.
