This time I have the opportunity to actually be able to post sh!t loads of work relating to all of the stuff I've promised before. No this I'm serious, I'll post LOTS in the next two months until school comes back.

Now onto the movies. Iron Man was teh uber leet pwnage. Hellboy 2 was made of WIN (thanks to uber-hot Liz Sherman) and The Dark Knight was just PURE EPIC OF SHEER AWESOMENESS (Two-Face is da best)!!!! The recent Hulk movie was pretty cool so better check it out on DVD if you have time.

Also, ummmmmm....... might join an OC group battle.

On the plus side though,

and I have been able to complete the WHOLE set of Onimusha games!

Sure, we've played them before, but it doesn't hurt to buy new copies that actually work! So recently we've just finished playing Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Onimusha: Warlords, and Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny.
Great fun I tell ya, definitely one of CAPCOM's best game series along with their Resident Evil franchise.

Also in my Art class, we had to work on a simple cover for our Art Journal/Diary/Sketch Pad. Assessment is based on how I shoulwd show how much effort was put into it. But I took to the next level. In fact, since Onimusha is so kickass, why not do something Onimusha-based?

So I picked the second to the last battle of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams as my basis. I sketched out the details in one day, then after that, I scanned and colored the background and details on the computer. BUT DAMMIT! THE COMPUTER CRASHED! :angry: So I was at a state of anger and panic. Luckily though, our teacher changed the due date so that we had more time to finish it. So I had to get back to work.

In one night, I finished coloring it again! And this time, since I got to experiment last time, the newer version looks a thousand times better than the version that died along with the computer. I was happy, I was gonna use as my Art Journal Cover.....or so I thought.

My dad said that he would print it out during a school day so that I didn't have to worry. To my dismay, rather than seeing a my artwork printed, I see one that looks just about the same, but folded all over!!!! Apparently, the printer at my dad's office snapped when it was printing my Onimusha Art Cover, leaving the printer dead/out of order. WHY??????!!!!!

So it was up to my mom. She put on some casual clothes and along with my dad they went to my mom's office to try and print it out once again. After a long wait, they have arrived. I prayed to myself that my fanart didn't kill another technological harware but at long last.....IT WAS DONE! So I covered my Art Journal, I loved my parents and siblings loved it, and my friends loved it so THE END.

As for the artwork, here's the deviation [link] to the actual finished artwork. Actually, I'm currently planning to make more fanart based on Onimusha, so don't be surprised if I start submitting more Onimusa-related stuff!!!

Definitely one of my most top three favourite movies of the year along with 300 and Transformers.

SYPNOSIS:
The movie takes off exactly after the events of the first AVP movie.
The little alien that was shown in the end of the first movie grows full size, famously known as the "Predalien" (due to its Predator-adapted features). The Predalien starts wreaking havoc in the Predator ship until it crashes in a jungle near a town on earth. The Predalien starts infesting the whole town with aliens while a lone Predator known as "The Wolf" is sent down on earth to destroy the aliens before all hell breaks loose. To make matters worse, people of the town must evacuate before the government blows the town sky high.

Now, I'd have to say that is is definitely something more enjoyable should you have watched the other Alien and Predator movies (which are 7 movies excluding this one) but either way, this is a great sci-fi/horror/action flick perfect for anyone (but the kiddies).

The acting are solid but not ground-breaking. The actors are great enough for the movie to work. I mean, it's not like this is a drama movie you know. It's humans caught in the middle of the Predator's eradication the Aliens.

As for the musical score, I'd have to note that they are similar to past installments of this franchise which can be a good or a bad thing for you. I loved the music back then so personally, I loved this homage. Also take note in the beginning of the movie, that the text are similar to the ones that were used for ALIENS and PREDATOR.

My only complaint is the lighting in some action sequences where quite hard to make out what's going on but that's just a minor nit to pick. But what I really liked was how the Strause Brothers (the directors) reverted back in to using suits for most of the Alien and Predator sequences.
Overall, I'd give this movie 4/5 stars.

As for the movie department, I heard Iron Man is in the making and coming out soon which I'll probably go out and see. Also Alien vs. Predator 2 is coming out in December and receiving R18+ rating ("MA15+ Restricted" for Australia) which is probably gonna be frackin' awesome and kickass with the Predator fighting the Predalien!!!

Also here in Australia, and possibly around the world, Cartoon Network put the English dub for the show called MÃR on "hiatus" status (possibly cancelled)?!!!
WTF?!!!!
Doesn't anyone know what that means?!!!
If the english marketing of this cool show doesn't sell, it'll deteriorate overtime and companies would cease selling products based on the show!!! That means no DVDs!!! Less fandom! Less MÃR plush toys released worlwide (I want Dorothy Plush toy gahdammit!)!
WE NEED TO BRING IT BACK!!! (yes I'm talking to you MÃR fans!)

My socks got wet from the snow coming into my boots so it was pretty annoying. Sliding down with those sled...things...whatchamacallit is pretty fun, but getting back up the slope (especially on snow) is so darn tiring and irritating. >_<

So after lunch,

and I decided we'd make a Dorothy (from MÃR) snow statue

!!!!! So firstly we thought we'd make full body, but we found it too hard so I suggested we make a bust (statue with only the parts of the body from waist-up). It took a loooooooooooong time. At times we had to take off our gloves just to get the right details in, which made our hands really cold although the pain disappeared because the coldness made our hands numb (well, for me at least). While building it, people passing by saw us and commented on our work of how great it is. By the time we finished it the bus was getting ready to leave, so we had to take two quick shots (which I hope are good quality) and I might even post it.

Recently I watched the movie "Corpse Bride" which was a pretty good film. At first I thought the movie was gonna be full comedy, turns out to be a romantic sad story (with some bits of comedy), which I actually found great and I personally prefer Corpse Bride than "Nightmare Before Christmas" (please don't bash me for that).

Also I just watched a spanish film called "Pan's Labyrinth". It was pretty good, with interlocking plots. Some bits were quite morbid like this humanoid creature with its eyes that were located on each palm of its hands instead of its face, long arms with hands covered in blood, skinny legs, and what makes it worse...it eats BABIES!!!
Violence was pretty strong. The plot was well-planned, I liked the ending too.
Yeah pretty weird but I liked the movie.

I also watched comic-based movie "Ghost Rider". I actually liked it despite what people have been b*tch*ng about, I mean c'mon! It's just a popcorn movie! Enjoy it stupid critics! Sheesh!

And oh yeah movie time:
I recently saw TRANSFORMERS and damn it was one hell of a movie!!! Easily one of the best of the year along with Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End. The action was well-placed, metal plates sliding, debris everywhere, great acting, great strart-up, great build-up, great effects, great story (sequel is set for sure!), great ending, what more can you ask for!!!! Heck, knowing nothing about Transformers wouldn't stop you from enjoying this!!!

Anyone who doesn't watch TF (Transformers) or POTC: AWE (Pirates) and consider themselves a movie-goer is an idiot. AWE and TF are a must-see!!! Easily one of the best.
