Neway, onto other things.

I'm looking for decent writers to collab with on a comic project. I need more experience working with people to get details right and to understand what any future clients want. I don't plan on doing the collab now though, because we are close to christmas and I don't want to be weighed down with any projects at that time. As for what sort of writers I'm looking for, I'm open to working with anyone. We can exchange emails, ideas and work things out from there. Or you can send me a story or script you have written beforehand and I can try doing a comic adaption. However, I may ask to make small alterations to keep the story fresh if you get my point.

One thing though, I don't want to do any fetish work. Don't get me wrong, I'm all down with that stuff, but I'd like to do more mainsteam stuff. Like maybe superheros, drama, romance, comedy, all that jazz. I'm still learning as an artist and there are any writers out there that want to improve and have a little fun, drop me a note and we will see how it goes from there.

In other news, all my close DA buddies keep an ear out for my last blant of the year. It's a special feature episode dedicated to my DA buddies. I've only recored part of it over the weekend because it's been too cold to do in one day.

Void audition:
So far I only have one sample from one person. If anyone needs a reminder on their lines or my email, note me. I'm hoping to get the first episode of my video series up on sunday.

The Void is a powerful creature that controls an empty universe. His intentions are unclear. He speaks in a deep, powerful tone with a mild echo in his voice. He tries to be serious all the time but can act a tad silly depending on certain situations.

Been recording some lines for a video I've been meaning to do for some time. Man, my voice acting used to be way better than the crap I recorded today. Guess that happens when you don't practice. Oh well, I'll get my spark back, I know I will. Speaking of voices, keep an eye out for a journal with a deadline for auditions. I only have one person send me their lines so far and although this person is just who I've been looking for, I like to give the other people interested a chance. It's only fair right? So keep an eye out for that.

As for our builder problem, the guy who got us in this sorry mess came on friday to apologise and made yet another promise to repair the roof. Guess what, it has been dry sunday and today and he's not here. Big suprise. Mum and I have been able to claim back some money through insurance and other things, so we almost have all the funds we need in case the roof goes. We only need about £100 to make up our losses and I intend to get that... so as much as I hate to beg, I needs commission offers. Stay tuned for a journal on a new twist on my commmission prices... you'll see. Heh.

Also, I has Twitter now. I know, how sad of me. But I kinda like it. it's simple and isn't full of pointless appa and crap like facebook. Anyone on Twitter?

Now onto the main reason I'm typing this journal up. I needs a voice actor! I need a male voice actor to do the voice of a character that will pop up in a little project I'm doing. The video is done in still frames (it's a cartoon, but it's not animated, sort of like a storyboard) so I need a decent actor that can help bring this character to life. The voice has to be deep and god-like (maybe throw is a mild echo effect to make him sound powerful). I don't have any voice modification programs installed, so if you can moidfy your voice to fit the part, then that's cool.

Here's a bit more info on the role and what else I need:

~You must be available as often as possible. This project is done in episodes so I don't have all the lines for future videos because it is an ongoing project (I've already written three episodes so far).
~The character is a god-like being who speaks with a powerful tone.
~You must have some experience in voice acting and a decent mic to record your voice.
~The character often sounds serious, but will sometimes put on silly voices in comedic parts of the episodes.

And that's it I think. I don't expect anyone to voice act for nothing though. I can't pay in cash, but I can pay in drawings if you want. If you just plan on getting the job for free and for fun, that's cool too. You'll be mentioned in the credits of each video this character is in and there is a chance you might get asked to voice in other people's videos.

If you want to give it a shot, note me with the title "Voice of Void" and I'll give you the audition lines as well as an email adress to send them too.

The kitchen roof is close to caving in.

I'm not shitting you. We've had the damp patch on the ceiling that has put us off decorating. So mum got this guy to fix the roof. Guess what, after he left, the damp patch came back bigger than ever. So mum called him up and asked him to look at it again. I'mj suprised he came back at all. She did pay him and most builders usually scat if a customer calls them back to see to their shoddy work. He came back and I swear he was on that roof for a few seconds then he left after telling me the problem is now fixed. Hey, guess what?

It's fucking worse than before.

Not only is the old damp patch bigger, but we have damp patches around the kitchen light fitting. So now we can't switch the light on out of fear of it explodinhg or something like that. My gran thinks that he's moved some of the tiles on purpose, hoping he'd get more work anf get paid for it. My mum says if that is the case, he can forget getting any more money. He either fixes this mess or his ass is going to court. Apparently, he's botched up other jobs before. The worst I've heard of is a woman has half a wall missing on her house. I'm not joking.

How is this guy allowed to do this? Why has nobody taken him to court? His name is everywhere. Ads in the paper, billboards, his company van driving through the area. How can he have the gaul to show up everywhere with a smile on his face when he's fucked up so many people's homes? If he cocks up again, I'm going to go all John Christian on his ass (my dad would never stand for this).

So now my mother says there is a high possibility that he'll vanish for a while (apparently he's done that before) so we'll have to get somebody else in the fix the problem. Sadly neither of us can afford it. Over £3,000 of work has been done to the house this year. And for my mum that is alot of money for the measly amount she gets paid at work. She's really upset. The fridge is still in the living room and there is no way anything will be done before christmas. I feel totally useless here, because I can't do anything to help the situation. I want to help, but lack of a job holds me back.

I'm not sure how much it'll cost to fix the kitchen roof properly. If I can make about £300 then that might cover half of it. I hate to sound desperate, but I have no choice due to the kitchen roof close to caving in. Commissions are still open, see my previous journal for prices. I'm also checking the forums for job offers, but so far nothing.

I don't know what to do. I really don't. All I can ask is if you can help, need it be buying a commission, spreading the word or giving advice, please do. If the kitchen roof goes, the damage will spread throughout the house. And I highly doubt that the insurance will pay out.

The only thing I bought was a comic book from Forbidden Planet. It was a last moment buy before getting on the coach back home. My god... it was awful. Ok, not totally bad, but still kinda bleh. It was about Marvel super heros (X-men, Spiderman, ect) becoming zombies that could talk and hunted down uninfected people to eat. Loads of bad gore puns too. Then for some odd reason and alternate universe where the super heros are apes (I'm not shitting you) get involved... somehow. It's... just... gah, you would have to read it for yourself. On the upside, Spidermonkey (Spiderman's ape conterpart) is freaking cute.

In other news, I've had a sudden urge to voice act a script I just wrote last night. Sadly, all three of my microphones won't record. The on switch is switched, the laptop says they are plugged in... but when I open up windows sound recorder it picks up nothing. I speak clearly and loud enough... so thats not the problem. I am so clueless now. Any ideas?

Anyway, I'll shopping for something this weekend... but I doubt I'll find what I want, lol. I should really open up commissions again. I keep forgetting to.

In other news, I'm worrying about not finishing my October Challenge project on time. I have four to go. Three are being adjusted in photoshop and the last one is being inked. Oh well, I got this far which is good for my standerds.

In other news, I had a painful encounter with a kid on a bike on tuesday. Bugger wasn't watching where he was going and ran over my bad foot. OUCH does not describe it. Luckily nothing appeared to be broken, but my infected injury from last year has started to flare up because of it. I can't keep thinking its going to heal itself and go away. I have to go back to the choropodist... which I can't afford. Looks like I'll have to open commissions again, but I'll be doing them cheaper temporarily to get interest because this is kinda urgent. I'll be offering something like anything goes pictures. £5 for one or two characters doing whatever or £10 for three to four characters. I don't think I'll do backgrounds for them though. I'll let you know when I decide to do them.

And I think that is all for now. Gotta finish those drawings. If I can't finish them tonight, I'll upload them later on sunday. I've been pretty active this month art-wise. Hope November will be the same. laters.

It was a bootleg.

I mean, the case was nothing like a DS case. It took me half an hour to open the damn thing too. The booklet inside was poorly stapled together and the text inside made no sense and hardly told you how to play the game. The game itself, seemed to work ok, but I wanted my money back because I had a feeling the save feature will break soon (knowing these bootlegs). So I went on ebay only to find out that the seller had closed their account leaving hundreds of angry buyers behind. I contacted paypal and opened up a fraud case. They said I had to send the game back to get a refund, but I had no return to sender address, so I was screwed. And if I did send it back there is a high chance of the seller denying I bought the item in the first place. So a week after, paypal closed the case. No chnace of me getting my money back ever.

That was some time ago now and I'm well over it, but I am more careful when buying stuff. Mind you, I felt I was being careful back then. You can't win really. So here I have a bootleg copy of Digimon World Dusk. The save feature no longer works, but the rest of the game does. However if you wanted a digimon to trade over to another copy, you may have to play non-stop to get it. So if you want it for whatever reason (even if you could recycle the cartridge) just say so and its yours. If you want the crappy case and booklet I'll send that too.

1)Doomfluff
Simple contest, just draw Doomfluff. For those of you who feel that you can't draw his adult self, you have the option of drawing his skinny teenage self. And for those of you who can't draw anthros I might throw in an option to draw him as a human. The contest idea is really about your take on Doomfluff in your own style.

2)Sheepsona
I like sheep. I bet you didn't know that. This contest idea is to draw yourself or one of your characters as a sheep. Anthro or regular sheep forms welcome.

3)Colouring contest
Because not everyone wants to draw. I have two characters drawn up, but they need a colour scheme that works. You can colour one or both.

I'm pondering on doing christmas card trades this year since I didn't do them last year. But, I'm going to make the number of slots small this time.

I was out today on a mission to hand in more CVs. While I was there I stopped by a few second hand game stores to look for a copy of Final Fantasy X2 for *Steel-Girl because she's been hunting for it with no results. I found loads of copies. The cheapest was £10. I didn't buy any though. The only cash I had on me was spent on my bus fair, so today I was just making sure there were copies available.

I bought a South Park plush on ebay. Yes, I know I should be saving up my money, nag, nag, nag, but I couldn't help myself. I got it on a buy now thing because the last plush I tried to get ended in a mass bid war (I didn't get it) and I just don't feel like going through that crap. Neway, this plush is in great condition even though it's preowned. It looks brand new although the tag is missing. Somebody loved and looked after this thing very well, so Ima do the same. I don't know, but buying preowned stuff feels better than buying sparkly new stuff to me. Anybody else feel that way? Lol. Oh, btw, its a Kyle plush. There were bigger ones, but they had creepy rape faces.

I'm gonna not bother with OCBC4 anymore. I lost round one and although the theme for redemption sounds like fun, I'm not up to doing an entry. I haven't started it and the deadline is close. I have better things to do anyway. At least I got to draw Doomfluff a bit more. The story is non-cannon so there's no point finishing it. If another tourney comes up when I have the time and dedication, I might enter Doomfluff again.

Accounts getting banned.

Yeah, yeah, it happens all the time, I know. But recently, the people I know from parts of this site I often visit are getting banned. Most of them for bull reasons.

But it's not the reasons I'm talking about today. I'm talking about the people who do the reporting and then moan about it afterwards. You know, if somebody I didn't like for whatever reason got banned, I'd be happy but I'd move onto better things afterwards. Any other sane person would do so too right?

Nope, wrong. God dammit why is it always wrong?

There has been an increase of journals that "name and shame" banned deviants with piles of "evidence" and paragraphs about why this person is so "bad" followed by a ton of uncalled for vulgar name calling. Um... just a question... why are you doing this AFTER? Ok, so calling out deviants in a journal is against DA rules, so I can understand why you chickened out the angsty evidence journal before the ban hammer, but what is the point of making one after? Is this because said person can't stand up for themselfs now and you want to gloat a little? I'm sorry, but have you ever thought that this person who got banned might have friends? Friends who could use this as evidence to get you banned? Because beleive it or not, you can get banned for trolling a person, even if they are bannned themselfs. I've seen it been done before.

Blarg, well this is the internet. Where man-childs and retards breed.

On monday I got rid of the fake virus on the laptop. It was a virus sent by a company that tricks people into buying their crappy stuff in order to get rid of the virus. No harm was done all is well, but I'm never using the laptop to surf the web again. The downstairs computer is where its at. Lol.

Tuesday was "see how many CVs Mags can hand in" day. I was in a few stores looking for jobs that day. I think my best chance is grabbing a christmas temp job at Argos. Go me. I'm on a roll.

Wednesday was slow. I got a nasty stomach bug so I didn't do much. I spent most of the day watching episodes of South park. Lol.

Thursday was also slow, but I got more stuff done. Yes, I watched more South Park too, lol. I have a ton of South Park fanart to colour now.

Friday is quite eventful. My gran has lost her house keys, but thank goodness Mum keeps spares just in case. My gran never forgets anything. She's always very careful with stuff like keys, money and so on. So she was in a right state. The keys only have a number on them so whoever has them won't know where gran lives, so no possible robbery can happen.

Urgh... mum has Strictly Come SHITE on. I hate that show, its gone on long enough. A bunch of nobodies are on this series and despite mum saying she had no interest watching it... SHE'S WATCHING IT ANYWAY. Bleh. I wish she'd stop dragging me away from the computer to watch some crappy c-list celeb cock up a dance move. I'm trying to type, lol.

Pick five things that annoy you about the internet and talk about them. No tagging required.

1)Harassment: I'm sick and tired of people spamming others with hateful messages, emails, ect. It's never called for and the reason why its done is always over something small and unimportant. "OMG, you didn't reply to me in ten seconds flat! You must pay you horrible person!" Yeah, yeah, you can baaaw about it all you want in journals or on social sites or to your family if you are that sad. Just don't make a fool of yourself by leaving hate messages telling a person they are "so horrible" when you are the one spewing vulgar things. Also most cases of internet harassment are not caused by trolls. I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. Attention whores are the most likley suspects. I know some people say that attention whores and trolls are the same, but there is a difference. Trolls seek negative attention. Attention whores seek positive attention. So I don't like harassment on the net. It's pathetic and never called for.

2)Attention whores: Saw this coming didn't you? Now don't get me wrong. We all crave for attention now and then. Its human nature. But some people make a freaking career out of it. "Baaaaw, subway were out of meatballs today! I hate you all! My life sucks!" I think this topic speaks for itself really. I hardly see a jounral about something worth crying over. Like, losing a dream job, getting kicked out your home or a family or friend dying. I also don't like direct attention whores who message you all the freaking time and if you miss replying to just one message, or don't reply fast enough, guess what? You are a horrible selfish person who should die. Oh gee, I'm sorry. I didn't know my life was to serve your pathetic needs. Bleh.

3)Forums: It is true, I don't like forums. I find them boring sometimes and its a breeding ground for tards and pervs. A forum is not a good place to meet people either. A social network might be a better place to start for newbies. I also hate seeing hundreds of threads with the same damn topic. There are already thousands of threads on that topic, what makes you think we need another?

4)Dating sites: Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against people who meet their lover online (I've been there myself) I'm talking about bullshit dating sites, their bullshit ads and them charging you money to find your match. I've had a couple of friends try this and they said it was a waste of time. You are better off on social networks like facebook or myspace or even here if you were desperate. Don't sign up to any dating sites that want money. It could be a scam and always read the small text. And besides, people find love when they stop looking.

5)Youtube: This site has gone down the drain majorly. Now they can pull your videos down even if no copywright law was broken. If somebody says they just don't like it, it goes down. Just like that. Also, muting videos is totally pointless. You may aswell just take the video down if it was a music video or a rant. The ads are annoying too. I know thats how youtube make their money, but some of the ads they have are disturbing. Youtube is watched by people young and old so try and keep your ads family friendly for goodness sake...

My next plan of action is to visita friend who has been ill for months. She still has no idea what is wrong with her. The doctors have been dicking around with tests and crap. She's indoors most of the time and it is driving her nuts. So I'm going to get a bottle of wine and head on down there to cheer her up. problem is I've never been to her new house with her boyfriend before and its in a town I don't know to well. Oh well... more adventure for me!

Thanks to everyone who gave it a go though. Now its back to the drawing board. I have no idea what to do next. No really, no idea. I feel like I've let her down. And if this account isn't brought back she's not coming back. Lurking for a few months then uploading everything on a new account doesn't thrill her. I don't blame her, I know what that's like.

Last option is go bug an admin. Let's see how that goes.

EDIT2: Latest update folks. The admins have not responded to any appeals related to this as of yet. It's still not too late to send your appeal to help out two wrongly banned deviants. I'm spell checking my appeal right now. I've put some thought into what I want to say. This is pretty much my only chance to plead to the admins to lift the ban. If they say no, then I've failed. But if enough people appeal, maybe, just maybe... they might take it back. They didn't troll anyone. They weren't causing any harm. They were just having a laugh.

As for other developments, nothing so far. Maybe I should try talking to an admin here and hope they don't just reply with "go to the helpdesk" because I'm only getting a few opinions. Later.

EDIT: Ok, instead of moaning about it, I'm trying to find a way to get the ban lifted. I've been told that appealing to the helpdesk does jack. Orly? Well I'll only find out for real if I try. So I'm going to message the helpdesk about it, explaining that the journal was all a joke. Yes there were some vulgar things said, but it was all in jest and the two people involved are like this. They enjoy a bit of dark satire shall we say. So I'm going to plead with the admins and see if it does do jack. Anyone else here who wants to give it a shot too, I'd say go ahead. It can't hurt to try.

I'm going to track down a few peeps I know who have been in this situation before. Some of them didn't get their original account back and had to start over, but they somehow stopped the admins for banning them for evading the previous ban. Hopefully it won't come to that, because my friend says it would be a waste for a 5 year old account to go down the drain. I know the feeling...

If anyone here knows any other way to solve this problem, feel free to suggest.

I don't want to start anyhting with the admins if thats what anyone thinks. Yes, I'm upset that a friend got banned for a joke, but this journal is not a huge dig at the admins. I'm pretty sure "Make a fake fight journal for lulz" is not against the rules. I wouldn't be suprised if a butthurt deviant is behind the report. You know what some people are like. Anyway, I'll give you the latest update when possible. I have a couple of drawings I owe to finish but I'm sure the people waiting won't mind one or two more days. I've known this person online for years. She's like the big scottish sister I've never had. For once, I don't want to feel useless to her. I want to make things up to her. Nothing wrong with that... is there?

Ok... DA has to be the oddest website I've ever been on. A friend of mine has been banned for an OBVIOUSLY fake call-out journal. Heck the whole thing was written in capslock. Only an idiot would take it seriously. In fact, some people did and my friend and the person she was fake fighting with had to tell these people that it was fake. But more people kept leaving comments like: "Don't be so mean to eachother!" or "OMG, harassment, reported!" Have you people not read the comments left before? Heck you must have seen them, because the comment box is under them. So when you scroll down, you should at least catch a comment saying "This is a joke" dammit, I read most comments left before I comment to avoid saying the same thing. Why can't 80% of the people on this site?

Would you laugh if I told you that admins were fooled? That is a tad worrying, no? So, who was the admin that lowered the ban hammer? If it was one of the ones that was told it was a joke, I would not be suprised. No, really. I've pretty much heard alod of crappy excuses on this site to ban somebody.

So what can be done? Not much I'm afraid. The only person who can get the admins to undo this mistake is my friend. Admins tend to ignore ban lift appeals from friends, so my effort will be ignored. It feels like I can't do anything and that irritates me, because she's done alot for me over the years I've been online. Least I can do is get this crappy ban lifted... somehow.

Better go check the helpdesk just to be sure.

My buddy is in a bit of a pickle with bills. I know what it is like to get sudden bills shoved in your face. So go commission her or else I'll eat you... er, I mean, I'll be very cross. Her prices range from $5 to $30 which is good for what she has to offer. She's a great artist so help her out. If you can't afford to ($5 isn't alot to part with really) then advertise her in your journal or spread the word to anybody you know who is looking for some good art to buy. If you can afford to but don't want to, either advertise like mentioned above or commission me so I can commission her (bet you didn't see that coming).

Hmm, you know what? Here's another way to motivate some of you; for every commission somebody buys from Sabby thats worth between $15 and $30, I'll draw a suprise doodle. Depending on how much you pay will determine the quality of the drawing and if it will be coloured or not. The suprise will be based on the commissioner's interests and their OCs (or favorite characters if they don't have any). The doodles will be all pasted together in a WIP file so I don't take up my gallery space with sperate submissions.

This has been bobbling my mind for a day now. I've been trying to send money to a deviant for a commission, but paypal keeps saying that their address is invalid. So the deviant gave me another email addy to send the money. Guess what, paypal says it is also invailid. I copy and pasted the addy so I can't of spelt it wrong. I have no idea why it's doing this. Paypal's helpdesk was useless as always.

I'm hoping this is a glitch and that it will pass soon, because it's making me look bad to this deviant. And no, my limit for sending money hasn't dried up. I just don't know why its doing this. I've sent money to all sorts of countries and received it from overseas accounts too. So why is this happening. Paypal hasn't limited my account either as far as I know. They normally email you about that and the only emails I've gotten off them was for problems with non-buyers on ebay (and if I find out this has something to do with them I'll kill the fuckers).

Any of my buddies here willing to experiment with me? Preferably somebody who I've sent money to (or received) and if paypal gives me the invalid crap, I know it's either a glitch or the staff are fucking with me (they did something like this to my uncle).

I'm also glad that the newer peeps who have started watching me are here for my main work and not the odd/rare tickle pic I do once a year.

In other news, I've been down a bit and decided to let go of a few things to clense my heart... and my bedroom. Haha. So I've had a mega blitz. All the stuff I don't want/need have gone in charity bags and will be picked up this thursday. Some stuff will be going to a carboot sale (mother's idea) so I can get a little extra cash. Most of it is pokemon and digimon stuff so stuff will go, I'm sure of it. I'm being left with the essentials, and any of the stuff out of my toy/plushie collection will go in a cuboard for easy acess.

I came across an old folder from college. There were some crappy sketches and a couple of print outs of images for refrences. One picture was of Ryan... which I have gotten rid of now. I felt nothing when I was looking at it. I don't know if that's good or bad, but I felt nothing. No sadness, no anger... nothing. That giant Spyro the dragon plushie he got me is going to the charity thing too. It gets in the way sometimes and I just can't look at it some days. Some kid will like it... even though the stuffing is knackered (it makes a crinkly noise like tissue paper).

I'm sorry for lack of art right now. I've been focused on personal matters and room clearing as you can see. I should be done in a couple of days, then I'll be back to colouring my round 1 comic for and 's freebie for buying an expensive commission off me.

Ok I've noticed that alot of my watchers have a tickle fetish. Well for those of you who think I draw that stuff all the time you are mistaken. Yes I am into that stuff myself, but I don't spend every waking hour drawing it. In fact, apart from the commissions I do, I hardly ever draw tickle fetish stuff on my own whim. The only other exceptions is if I draw something tickle related for a friend who is in the fetish themselfs.

So for those of you who are only here for the tickle stuff and nothing else, go to *Mags-The-Confused because you are more likely to find that sort of thing there. Most of my customers are into the tickle thing, so there is bound to be loads of that stuff there apart from my one-shot originals and other stuff I don't want cluttering this account.

If you are watching me for both the tickle stuff and the other artwork, thanks alot. That means something to me.

Anyway, my search for a job continues this week. I have found other ways to get the money for those bills... sell crap on internet auction sites. The only downer are the sellers fees. So I have about £50 left to get before I'm all clear. I have this crazy buy this get that free deal on my commissions account. I've already gotten three notes of interest. Just waiting on the details now.

2009 hasn't been to bad so far I guess. But damn, my emo fest lasted from march till mid July. Holy feckles. I guess you can say it ranged from "What did I do wrong" to "What a fucking coward" to "Why should I feel guilty" to now. Yay, feelings. I think I'm slowly getting back to who I was before too. I think so anyway. Time mangement has been better for me too. I'm on an art kick right now... so uploads will have increased more. Let's face it, last year, I hardly put anything up. Should be fixing that soon, yay.

Grah, when is OCBC4 starting? I'm itching to do battle!
