For some reason my sister's desktop computer crashed and my old laptop still wouldn't let me do ANYTHING on here so that's why I haven't been very active as of late. I purchased a brand new laptop last Thursday night though so now I'm back but I still have one major problem. I'm still left without a scanner. *sigh* So I still can't upload hand-drawn art... not that I really have any right now anyway... I've had a lot going on lately. I did start writing another story but its pretty messy right now. Mostly I'm putting down ideas... Its mostly in a story format though. I've got

Okay so maybe not entirely true... but then again maybe so... who knows?

Its been a LONG time since my last journal. A lot has happened.

Had a blast at AnimeIowa! Can't wait for next year! Got my pictures up online. I'll link to them later.

Dad and Uncle Tim have had a couple of visits to the hospital since then, things have been changing here at home and work is just as stupid and stressful as ever.

On another note:
Some people (including myself. I'm one of the Project Managers) are attempting to start a convention in the Quad Cities Area. We have a potential financial backer (we just need to meet up with them and prove we're worthy of using their money) and we're narrowing down our list of locations. We want to have it start next year in late spring early summer next year. Wish us luck. every little bit counts.

I do have a few new pictures I've drawn recently. They're not all that great but at least its something. They're character's from my story B.A.Z.P.I. (Battle Accessory Zodiac Piece Integration). I'll put them up soon.

Thats right everyone, its time once again for the best convention in Iowa (and currently, as i've heard, the only one)!!
This evening we'll be departing for Coralville, Iowa and tomorrow will start three days of non-stop fun and we'll get plenty of pocky, ramune and hopefully some daifuku too!

i have to find a new cord for my camcorder but i intend to take lots of footage and pictures and i will share them with anyone who wants to see them!

i have to finish packing now and tie-up a few loose ends.

i'll have my laptop with me but i don't know if i'll have internet access or not.

Okay so I felt it was time to do an update. Here we go...

Right so, went to the VA clinic today for dad's appointment... yeah... they kept him again. There are too many details that I (rudely) don't wish to go into right now because I already have to repeat them in person to so many people around here... so the abridged version: They're keeping him, another possible blockage near his heart, catherization thing scheduled, some other potential tests, possibly released in a couple of days.
not holding my breath on that last one... its usually not that easy....

Been hangin out with TNT every weekend. We've had our ups and downs... and some progress has been made. I, however, have quite a few faults that I definitely need to address... *Sigh* and then my day...

I wish I was still a strong person. I know I used to be... but I seem to have crumbled over the years with all the outrageous events in my life. I gotta stop letting it get to me...

AnimeIowa is so close I can taste it... and in a matter of days I will XD. Pocky, Ramune and Daifuku here Denna comes!!!!!

At our TNT Meeting/Hangout last night we watched Dragonball Evolution. Thankfully I needed a bad laugh. That movie was so far beyond horrible. Most of our group never liked dragonball/z... one of them even saying that they were honestly offended by that movie! I have to agree. I was rather disgusted with it too... but i'm still glad i redboxed it. and don't be afraid lads and lades but it appears that there more than likely will be a sequel. at least thats what that part that suddenly shows up in middle of the credits suggests...

After putting up my (1st) entry for

's contest I received several comments requesting the same thing... they want to read it. i do have every intention of doing that story. and i am, in fact, working on some plot and character sketches w/bio's now. I will put some of it up here as i get the chance for some feedback but i want to try and submit it to a company. i really do. its a dream to be a graphic novel artist. I want people to read my stories. It may be hard though to get this one out there... after-all if you have seen the deviation and read "the back cover" you'll realize that is Shoujo-Ai... ya know... girl love... but with a name like Crazy Crazy Rainbow what does one expect?

Um... I know there were things i wanted to say in here but i seriously can't remember them right now... my empty head is all mush right now... so i guess i'll go for now. luv ya!

Okay so I finally reached it. My Golden Birthday! For those who don't know that's when you turn the same age as the day you were born. That was this year for me. I turned 25 on June 25th. And while it should have been a monumental event, I'd say it was any other day except with an adorable pair of turtle earrings (i love you berrychan!!!!) and a hot pink candle in my sandwich...

Yeah it sounds weird but... yeah...
Originally I had made plans to go to the theater with a bunch of friends and see the new Transformers movie. I had to cancel because I hadn't the money to do such an endeavor anymore and I had a hunch that I would be needed elsewhere. Which I was. I spent that night over at my Uncle's house because he was released from the hospital that evening and definitely needed someone there with him. And though someone was in great protest of the situation, she came along with me anyway and I very much love and appreciate her for doing that.
My vacation, though much of the time far from feeling like a vacation comes to an end today. Sadly I return to work tomorrow. I feel so unaccomplished and yet...
I MANAGED TO GET ONE OF MY AMV'S REVAMPED AND READY FOR THE CON!!!!

I guess thats all I have to say right now. I've gotta take a shower and get my clothes in the dryer and get ready for bed. Oh and check my messages too.

Much love for you all... I do have some pictures I took that I will post soon. And I've got some footage to edit and put up on YouTube that you might enjoy. We had a fun adventure in the park on the 24th!

One more thing I feel like saying about my birthday... Apparently it was a major deathday too. Seeing as, if I'm correct, Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson passed away on my birthday... Plus we lost one of the residents at the nursing home I work with too. It feels... weird... and sad...

Okay I know its been a LONG time since I posted a journal and for those of you that read it many thanks.

Current Events
Its been an extremely busy month. At the beginning of this month I went on a last minute trip to Missouri to rescue a friend from an unpleasant situation and for that i was up for about 40 hours straight... I tell you I was tired but very glad to know that she was safe. Now she's staying here with me until a place opens up for her to stay. We're waiting on the previous tenant to get her ass moving and get out of there. Also a couple days after that adventure we took in her sister. So there are three of us living in my room. Its a bit close quarters but I'm still happy to have them here. Though I know they miss the privacy of having their own rooms.
We've also rescued a dog and are tricking my uncle into keeping it. And I want to have a yard sale to help cover the cost of AnimeIowa.
Not everything is peaches and sunshine though. My uncle is in the hospital again. They found blood clots in his lungs. So we're taking care of the puppy. He's already marked my floor eight times...

Its like water goes straight through him without stoppin to see the sites... XD
There was a crazy storm friday evening. Me and the two girls staying with me walked in it to get oil for my car. They wanted to play in the rain so I gave them a reason to. We were beyond soaked when we got home. It was hilarious. Two hours after the storm finally ended we lost power. Power company didn't get it on until 11:30-ish saturday night... by then me and my two friends had migrated over to my uncle's house because we had no airflow in my room and were already 3/4th of the way asleep when they got it back on so we stayed there.
So we got back home yesterday morning and while my friend was getting ready for work I tried to check my messages.... But for some reason my internet didn't want to stay connected... I'm was really getting tired of running from the attic to the basement and back again for only a minute of internet... Its ridiculous.
Friday I started my 8-day vacation from work... Such a nice start XD
Saturday me and my friends decided to have breakfast in the park. I didn't want anything from the place we went so I stopped at a convenience store and picked up some powdered donuts and chocolate donuts. As we were eating we noticed a squirrel watching us (and moof i don't wanna hear how evil he was....) and so i decided to see if i could get it to eat a donut. I placed one about a foot away from me. The squirrel cautiously made his way up to us and stared me dead in the eyes before grabbing the donut and running to the other side of the area where he proceded to attempt to eat it whole. XD It was too funny. But then these ladies who reserved a different area decided they wanted the one we were sitting in so they started moving things and scared him away.

Getting closer and luckily so am I. I have an AMV in the works.

Right now I'm collecting the footage I need for it. After I get that footage I'm gonna start getting some footage from another series and re-doing one of my old AMV's for my second entry. Hopefully by then I'll have the inspiration to create a third AMV. Also, if anyone is going to AI check out this that I found on the forums: [link] it sounds like fun.

CONVENTION
I'm anxiously waiting for AnimeIowa. Yeah... However I'm still not ready. I haven't got a single AMV to enter in the AMV contest. I hope I have at least one ready in time. I also want to enter the Iron Editor Competition... but I'm still not sure about the Midnight to like 6 in the morning thing. Other than that I am ready for AI!

ART
I have actually been drawing some stuff lately. I'll upload the sketches sometime soon. I want to color at least one of them. They're just some sketches of characters from my story Imagine!
I'm working out the final details of my contest. Please look forward to it (but don't feel obligated to.)

Nothing new... Same shit, different day... *sigh*

MISC
Downloaded and watched a J-drama (live action japanese tv show) the other day. Crammed all 11 episodes (plus the bonus 12th episodes which is a nice behind the scenes thing) into two days. Each episode is just under an hour long... Its called akihabara@DEEP and I absolutely fell in love with it. Its so weird and funny! (but I don't know if you'll like it much berry-chan... there are some parts that are just.... not something you'd appreciate I think. but if you want to give it a try I'd love to watch it with you!

I also recently watched the live action Honey and Clover. That series literally moved me to tears. Not sure how the manga is because I really couldn't get into it. But I absolutely loved the Live action.

Family/Friend News
So back on the 21st of March my dad was released from the hospital. Thank goodness right? Well he was put on some new restrictions so he spent nearly two weeks without going to work because they "didn't have a position for him to work in with his new restrictions." Finally, last Tuesday he gets a call. After going in for an interview he got a new position(same job just away from the casino boat) under an awesome new supervisor. So he went back to work on Wednesday. YAY! they had him working 6-2:30 which was fine... but that was only this week. Starting next week he goes from 7:30-4... not exactly convenient hours anymore... mom works from 5-1:30. When I work with her I work 7-3:30. but i'm sure things will work out. At least he's making money again. and he's back to 40/hrs a week. hurray!

I'm slowly getting all my footage I lost back. I hope to get three new AMVs made by the middle of June so that I can enter them in AnimeIowa's AMV Contest.

I won in two categories last year. I can only hope to win at least one this year. But if I don't I will still be happy. Because AI is just that much fun!
I'm starting to pick back up on my art again. I entered

's contest (at the last minute... sorries) and now I plan to enter

However, I would be interested in doing Requests, Art Trades and maybe even a contest of my own. If anyone has any ideas or something let me know. Well we thought (actually its more like hoped in vain) that they'd release dad from the hospital today.... NOT QUITE!!!
While he is leaving the hospital he's at right now... they're shipping him via ambulance to the VA clinic in Iowa City. So he's not coming home soon...
Which means his baby (dog) is gonna be even more lost...
I had such a strange day at work today. I couldn't focus, I'd leave my corner to get something and the moment I stepped out of my corner I'd forget what it was I was doing... I actually took a nap this afternoon (FYI, i don't take naps but once a millennium.) I guess its that I'm worried... I can't sleep well right now either which is probably why I took a nap.
Things didn't quite work out as I had hoped today so I didn't get to start the Picture-A-Day-For-A-Week thing. St. Patrick's Day came and went... Didn't even miss it. Did wear green though...

I did get my copy of Maximum Ride: MAX and I got six manga in the mail (yeah berry-chan, six more for you to read!!!

and you thought you were caught up. XD ha!)
Saw my little sister tonight. Actually didn't feel like killing her.

I guess that's it for now. Really not much else to say. I'm sorry to all the people I've neglected talking to. I really don't have a very good excuse. I hope you can still love me.

So today was the day that the fifth volume of the Maximum Ride series was supposed to come out in stores. Whether it did or not, I'll probably never know. I hope to manage to acquire my copy tomorrow. Then again I think I should wait because I'm only on the second book in The Books of Ember. Yeah. Denna's been into written books lately. Haven't done that in a while. I recommend "The Dangerous Days of Daniel X" & "The City of Ember". I'm working on reading "The People of Sparks".

I am working on my picture for

's contest. I have it drawn and inked. Now I just have to finish coloring it. I hope she likes it.

In

's journal I found something called Draw-A-Day for a week. "You just have to submit a picture a day for a week. (btw that means you try and draw the whole picture on the day and don't upload old stuff... unless you're going out that day or are freshly colouring it)"

sounds like fun, eh?

And in other news...

I spent most of my day up at the hospital. This time with my dad. He was having trouble breathing this morning. I heard so many things my head was spinning. I heard about possible respiratory infection, CHF (congestive heart failure), he was taking on some water again, and he can take legal action against his supervisor for making him work on the boat around the smoke when people diagnosed with CHF aren't supposed to be exposed to smoke. They're keeping him at least tonight. The VA clinic said that if he has to stay there more than tonight then they'd have him transferred to the VAC at no expense to him. That'll save on a huge bill in the long run for him. otherwise this is gonna cost a lot. so much for his car getting fixed...

if its not one thing its another. i tell ya. sometimes i think if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all... *sigh*

so St. Patrick's Day. YAY. Happy day for the Irish (which i happen to be). But no corned beef and cabbage for this little leprechaun for various reasons.

In other news, I'm having yet another art block. But what's worse is I'm having a writer's block too.

I lost 300+ gig of Footage and nearly all my music and other documents i had stored on my external hard drives... they crashed and i don't know why. my uncle has them right now to see if he can find anything on them at all. I got a new external and now my internet doesn't want to stay connected for very long... and it takes forever to get my footage to rip off the dvds... about a 1/2 hour per episode. it took all weekend for me to rip one series. and it was only 27 episodes...
I even lost my latest AMVs. and i hadn't gotten them saved to disc yet... so the only place i still have them is YouTube... and i don't have the required stuff to rip them from YouTube. Worst part... one of the vids i lost.. was one i was going to submit for the AMV contest for AnimeIowa. Even worse... when i went looking for it... it was missing on YouTube as well... They took it down... some sort of Copyright Issue.

so once i get my Ouran footage back i have to try and redo it.

With my internet not staying connected i can't re-download my Shugo Chara, Zombie~Loan, Monochrome Factor, Digimon, etc footage... That makes it a lot harder to make AMVs.

So aside from a streak of bad luck, I guess I'm okay. How's everyone else doing?

I guess I'm out of things to talk about. Here's hoping that things will turn around.

Funny story... just for the heck of it (and since a lot of people speak spanish because of the mexican guys that work with us) i'll say random things in japanese or french... so the other day i had to get some pans from the lower shelf under the cook's counter... so i asked the the cook if she could move aside for just a moment please and she did then i said thank you in french, japanese and english... one of my coworkers asked the cook what i just said... he had apparently thought i said are you ghetto instead of arigatou.

you had to be there i guess...

Okay so I'm back from Pokettokon and I had a BLAST!!!! I saw some amazing cosplay including nearly all the main characters from Monochrome Factor!!! (see above image)
I got some pretty neat stuff.
And I got to see my friend that I haven't seen in nearly 6 1/2 years!!!! It was great! The whole weekend was amazing even though I lost at AnimePursuit....

I kept finding the questions I didn't know the answers to... Such is life though.
Now its on to saving money and planning for the next con which, unless something comes up, will be AnimeIowa.

I'm working on my footage and pictures I took. When they're up I'll let you know if you want to see them. Right now I do have my vid up of the Monochrome Factor Cosplayers up. They danced. It was great!

Not much else to talk about. I didn't get anything drawn cuz I was too busy spending time with my friends over the weekend. But I'll try to get to some new artwork soon.

OKAYS!! so in like less than a week denna and

are off to Eureka, IL to visit a friend that denna hasn't seen in nearly 6 1/2 years... wow... and we're going to a very small con too!!! yay!!! [link]
I have been doing some sketches and even a sketchy manga. I will have a new header and footer soon. it might not be til after the con.
I'm wanting to make a new AMV... and i've got tons of footage to work with i just can't find the right song..... i hate it when that happens.
new years day was okay... it really got good when i got off work. well after all the crazy running. and getting ditched at wal-mart... burns me...
finally got to see The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian. It was good... but i still like the first movie better.

i won't give the reason though...
other than that not much has happened since my last journal. I am looking for some inspiration.... so i'm opening up art trades and requests... mostly i'd prefer requests... but if you're like me you don't want something for nothing... so art trades will be available. so go ahead. ask way. what can it hurt? and i swear that this time i will get things done!!! its a new year and a new start.

Another Christmas has come and gone... but it just didn't feel like it. A lot of people I've talked to have said the same thing. Despite the gingerbread houses, Christmas decorations, one radio station playing Christmas music 24 hours a day (commercial breaks included), abcfamily hallmark and some other tv stations running the daylights out of Christmas movies (except the ones i really REALLY wanted to see), the candlelight dinner for the residents where i work or our (extremely crappy) work Christmas party it just hasn't felt like Christmas this year.

Its sad to think about it too... When you think about how, about a month ago, a hard-working Wal-mart employee was trampled to death because some half-crazed morons were rushing into the store at an ungodly early hour for some stupid deals on stuff for Christmas. Or that, at a Toys-R-Us someone shot someone else. And some dumb pregnant woman had to go to the hospital because she had to do her Christmas shopping on Black Friday... The commercialism of Christmas is just too much to handle. Why did people have to be injured and even die for the sake of materialism?

I was also sad to hear that, on Christmas Eve, a soldier died in gunfire. Imagine what kind of Christmas it was for that family. "Merry Christmas, your loved one has died serving their country."

Even now there is probably some mass stupidity plaguing the world as I type this journal. "Black Friday 2". The day of returns and major move it off the shelves because the stores ordered too much crap that didn't sell this Christmas low price greedstravaganza!

Commercialism... what a riot.

But there are other things to discuss... so, moving on.

So Christmas eve we had my Uncle's (ex)girlfriend's daughters and their kids over. They yelled, screamed, were tortured by my dad and opened their presents. We had food and they left for another relatives place to celebrate Christmas. It was short (thankfully) and mostly sweet... and I'll eventually get to see all of Wall-E someday. XD
Christmas day I worked....

Though I had on some Christmas themed stuff (santa hat, shirt, earrings, etc...) it was anything but merry... One lady (who always leaves early) left early to open presents with her kids, another lady came into work without heat in her house (her husband has a lot of health problems too... not a good thing. fortunately, the house she's living in belongs to the place we work so after a few hours heat was restored once they got the right person over there), and I had soooo many different desserts its RIDICULOUS!!!! They had me serving:
Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Boston Cream Pie
Assorted Cheesecakes (Turtle, Raspberry, Cherry and Apple Struesel)
Christmas Cookies
Diet Apple Pie
Diet Cherry Pie
Diet Cheesecake
(i omitted Tiramisu as there was too much stuff already and no where to put it)
Yeah, way too many kinds of dessert... and it took forever to do all them by myself... I was supposed to get off work at 1:30... it was about 3:15 when i punched out and we were supposed to be at my older sister's house for Christmas at 3. nice... If my supervisor wasn't such an @ss... He told me straight, "You're not going anywhere until your desserts are done."
I hate him. He's always a jerk to me...

And much to my dismay, he's the one who got my gingerbread house when we raffled them off at work.

oh the irony.

But its not all bad. When we finally got to my sister's house things perked up. We took

First of all,
Yay for a new Journal Header and Footer... and for a new journal entry period.

I'm sorry its been so long since my last journal entry. Not that its the end of the world if people don't know the goings on in my life. XD
so anyway....

Work has been the usual. Candlelight Dinner for the residents came and went. There's rumor going around that the place is not going to be able to meet its budget... and that people might be let go... nice... but its just a rumor.

I've not been too active when it comes to drawing lately. To be honest I almost quit drawing. I thought I'd lost that special something. But drawing is my passion. So I guess you guys are still stuck with me.

So as of yesterday (which also happens to be

's birthday) I have been a deviant for 3 years!!!

time sure does fly though. and this year has been riddled with ups and downs (mostly downs to be honest). Somehow I've made it through though.... and i thank all who have been there to support me. I LOVE YOU!

I am still looking forward to a better year. One day I shall find it. I'll keep searching and dreaming. And with a little luck and a lot of work I'm sure I'll get there. Just keep trying.

As christmas races toward us I wish to extend my most heartfelt wishes that all will have safe and happy holidays.

Around here the weather is frightful. So much so that the snow is covered in ice and the other night my dad was pulling into our driveway after work and my poor arianna now has a couple of chunks missing from her front bumper... my poor car has been through a lot. and i haven't even had her three years yet.

i have to wonder if the poor girls gonna last long enough for me to pay for her and drive her around saying that i fully own her....

I had many things i wanted to do for christmas... I had a special gift i wanted to make, I had wanted to go christmas shopping (but alas i'm broke), I wanted to have fun at the work christmas party again this year... (but it sucked monkeh ballz this year... don't wanna go into details) and i wanted to do a series of pictures called "12 pictures from denna" featuring characters from my own personal stories... just couldn't do it though. it happens.

I'll probably put up a journal on christmas wishing everyone a merry christmas... but if i don't...

Yup. Denna finally broke down and turned on her ancient desktop computer and scanned some artwork. They're something I've done in the past couple of months but have been too lazy to deal with a slow-moving computer. But I was running maintenance on my laptop and had nothing else to do so... VOILA!

Not much happening. Things have (kinda) slowed down. I've been toggling ideas for a few stories. I've been working... and I made a few new Ouran AMV's.

As the holiday season approaches work is going to be hectic... but what sucks even more is that... Denna is pretty much broke... And I had my eyes glued to things I wanted to get for people...

So I'm going to get back to the real meaning behind christmas presents... "ITS THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS!" So I'm going to put a lot of thought and heart into peoples presents this year. It might be fun to make presents for others.

Really not much else to talk about... Like I said it has slowed down.... Guess I'm gonna go draw or something.

Thanksgiving falls on my dad's birthday this year... Fascinating, I know....

Sept. 12 I was at a funeral... My great aunt died. I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time... Including my cousin who I believe just turned 24 this month. I hadn't seen him in about 12 years. But I was feeling really lousy so I didn't really get to talk to him. Which is sad. I really missed him too. Due to family stupidity and such we never got together for holidays or anything after my mom's dad died. And after like 12 years what do you say to a person? I'm not good with things like that I guess.
Sept. 19, 2 a.m. My older sister rolled her vehicle on the I-74 bridge. She was thrown from the vehicle. Thankfully nothing was broken. At long last, nearly two months after that big storm that knocked a telephone pole into our driveway pinning my car under a cable and leaving us without power for about 103 hours, our internet was FINALLY hooked back up today!!!!

I have over 1000 deviations and over 200 messages awaiting me. I'm afraid most of it will have to be deleted. There's no way I could look at it all. But if you have something you really want me to see or read just let me know. I am terribly sorry.

we got our power back after just over 100 hours in the dark. XD
however....
our phoneline got cut by the people fixing the poles. so we have to wait til tuesday to get our phone turned back on. thank goodness for cell phones right? not that i use the phone much.
uncle tim has a hernia. fun. he won't be able to get that taken care of until december when he goes to madison for his checkup. or rather... he doesn't trust the hospitals around here to do it right. anyway, aside from that he's doing as okay as he can.

Okay so on monday morning... we're talkin about 6 A.M.... a major storm crashed into my area. Seriously. I was getting ready for work and i could hear it starting to rain outside... so i sat on my bed to put my socks on and everything went DARK!!! I thought, 'Oh crap... this is just lovely...'
Then my dad shouted up to me...

my first thought was... great... the ceiling must be leaking worse than usual...

alright. lets say you're doing a Sci-fi kinda comic/manga...
how would you start it? what generic idea would you use to catch your audience from the first panel?

what i mean is... would you start with an introduction to your protaganist/main character/whatever...

or would you start with a preview of some action that would take place later in the first chapter or maybe even in the second chapter?

i can't decide how i want to start AMP (A Maiden's Policy)... so if anyone can help me with some sort of idea that'd be appreciated.

unfortunately this is a for free service. sorry. i'll draw you a picture or something if you want. but i really don't have much to give. i'm trying to put my focus on AMP.

a friend of mine is going to cosplay at animeiowa this year... and they told me that one character they were cosplaying as is Ed from FMA... but they have to basically make their costume from scratch.

well, just for the heck of it i started looking at cosplay... and came across this auction on e-bay that had the coat and vest for Ed. and those are two major pieces my friend needs!!!

the best part was that i was the first to bid and it was set at like $5!!! and i held onto that position for 2 1/2 days!!! i thought i was doin good. i thought, "i got this!"

I was sooooo happy to find that the Ouran Dub Cast has finally been announced.... and thank the heavens I'm pretty pleased with the cast. For the most part. And the opening is dubbed as well. Thats something I like to hear. I like it when they dub openings for some reason. There's a clip up on YouTube but it was shot at the con so the sound kinda echoes a bit so in some places its hard to understand... but from what I can hear I like it. [link]

Everything has been so crazy lately.

For starters my (late) grandpa's dog, Dolly... well mom says she thinks Dolly had a stroke the other day. She's been stumbling around, the tip of her tongue was black, and she cried constantly. I did manage to get my birthday off from work, so there are a few people i need to contact about coming over for it. not really sure what we'll do. I have been so busy lately its nutz!
Work has gotten even more stressful. They've added more to our job and mom has been taking vacation time during this hectic transition into the new BS they've been piling on us... So I'm exhausted from that to start with...
I have been moving my belongings from the basement bedroom to the attic bedrooms (this has been something i've been working on since november... or was it sooner than that? Maybe october is when i started planning it... hmmm...)... anyway, its no easy task moving dressers and desks and such alone... but i'm managing. yeah... the title is backwards... i wanted to do something different.... and stupid...

denna is severly worn down by life...

i got really sick thursday... i could hardly swallow, my head was pounding, the room was spinning, i was freezing in a hot kitchen... and i had a temperature... it was nuts. i won't go into the details cuz no one really wants to hear about that i'm sure.
friday night through sunday i was watching my nephews and sadly i couldn't get my laptop to hook up to my sister's internet.... i did borrow her computer for a little but it was just a quick message check.

thats right. and denna has some good news. dad has been released from the hospitol TODAY!!!! (5/9/08) so i'm going to pick him up. lucky me it happened on my day off.
hopefully we won't have to go through this again. its exhausting. not to mention its almost "that time" so i'm really wiped. i'm a tad cranky... i don't like it. oh well... the point is... dad is comin home. *phew*

So dad has been in the VAMC since last tuesday. They drained quite a bit of the extra fluid off him. he was so happy his legs were back to normal size.
They wanted to do a cath{abreviated for spelling purposes...} (something where they put a tube down his neck or up his groin... or both.... i stopped listening after that... couldn't stand hearing it.) and they kept putting it off because they were saying his kidneys were not doing so great or reacting well... something like that. but they finally got it done today... *insert sigh of relief*
Not sure whats gonna happen next. he had to lay on his back for at least six hours.....

I got a CD in the mail yesterday that I ordered from the Risembool Rangers website. "Metafiction" is an awesome collection of music written, composed and produced by Vic Mignogna. I love it!!!! Currently I'm wearing out three tracks, "The Legend of Middle Tennessee" "Hello Beautiful" and of course "Soldier A". I'm especially wearing out "Soldier A"... its too funny!
I haven't gotten much of anything drawn lately... I've been worn out from work and then I get home and either crash in front of the tv or have to go somewhere.
