Thanks for following these rules, their there to benefit everyone and to allow for the free exchange of speech and ideas.

I hereby grant all Deviant-Artists permission to use my stock in any and all Deviant Prints and Galleries without restriction, provided the following conditions are meet:

You may not upload them to a pay site; if you do that, you'll get a DMCA request from me and possibly I'll sue you for damages. These images are for photo compositors and artists; they are not to be used as content in and of themselves.

You may not sell them through other vehicles than deviantart.com without mentioning it to me.

You are allowed to repost works based on my stock in other places (i.e. personal websites, contests, and the like) than DA but please maintain a credit to me where appropriate. If you post a link, I prefer it to be to my deviantART gallary([link]) or my blog The Teachings of Master Den Zuko

You must provide a link to your work that used the stock within a note to me(this is more for me to promote your work than anything else)

News
Lately I've been keeping busy with work, a new york design and marketing firm known as Cosmo Marketing. Not too bad work surprisingly. Also as you may have noticed, I've been releasing several stock renders of scenic mountain ranges. These where generated with Terragen 0.9 for the Mac. No, this is not me turning this account into a stock image account, just figured I give back to Deviant Artests in the best way that I know how.

Ok, so here goes every one.

If you've been wondering why I haven't posted anything up lately well here its, I've been contracted by ads4cures to do there website and on top of it I'm trying to help out *TalentHaven a bit more as well as keep up with my blog and websites. Ehnn.. its a good thing that I'm so busy.

Lately I've been surfing DA for some amazing artwork. And well if you look at my then you'll see some quite amazing stuff, of course a bit of my own personal tastes there to. Though after the last two I've seen its got me thinking, what the frag.. I'm going to start a list of the most amazing stuff on deviantART. Its going to have to do it monthly seeing as I've got a second job doing accounting.

arg.. :sigh: they finally broke me into the family business.. though I'm not going quietly! (click click) Say hello to my little friend... Anyways enough tom foollery, on with the contest rules.

The Whoa Factor

What is it:

The Whoa Factor is a list of the most amazing stuff that's on deviantART. Four and Five star works done by amature or semi-professionals. This is also a part of a contest I've been working up for months now and have finally desided to just do something about it.

Submittions:

Starting the first week of every month I'll be taking submittions by notes. Be sure to include a link to the art piece, and genre in the body. The in the subject line must include, "The Whoa Factor" and the title of the deviantion.

Rules:

Submittions are open to all genre and artests

Only the first 100 submittions are accepted

Any submittions after 11:59:59 on the seventh day of the month will not be counted

Prizes, if any, for the month are to be determind by the panel judges

At the end of the month the final top ten vote will be desided by you the deviants

All further details will be posted here on my journal so do make sure you (watch this deviant) that way you know what's going on.

We look forward to seeing your Whoa factor deviants. Good luck and happy creating.

My WordPress blog has been getting a little in disarray and is needing some maintainence. So, I'm taking a week off so I can update the blog and find a way to intergrate DA into WordPress.com as well as get this month's podcast ready and to get a back log of images to upload.

News - DA Artest Adverts

So as you may see i've got two new images up. I've also been surfing the blogsphere lately. Guess what I found, DA artest Adverts. Odd... though I guess they work, and with the new DA Video that's being added on we can put up our own adverts of our galleries.

I've been working on one of these even before I found out about the idea, though I was going to do it only as a presentation for offline clients that way I don't have to keep opening up either a web browser or iPhoto(yeah yeah... gPhoto is better but you got to remember I don't have a desktop for that anymore). So soon enough you'll be seeing a of mine up, in particually to my series works and the ones that are fav'd or commented on.

I've also found a few things about DA that I wish I knew about years ago, got to love what can happen when you really dig into your favorite site. Anyways, I found that many people like requests and the like. So here it is. I've finally got enough up to display my talent so if you want a copy that's all your own or want me to create one for you just give me a note with the details and I'll hop right on it. I will help a lot since I'm running low on ideas for what to create.

So I've finally broke the 300 hit mark. Way to go mates. I now have that suprise for you.. one of fire and one of ice. They are entitled, Deathstar Corona and Birth of wormhole. I hope you guys enjoy them and a big thanks to all of you whom visited.

Also, I've been working a few peices that are life works. I'll leave it to you blokes to let me know if I should keep at it or what not. So please... please comment my stuff ok?!? its the only way other than a +fav and buying my prints that I know if my work is appreciated or at lease I should go more in that direction with my artistic skills.

I've been using stocks from DA, Flickr, iStockphoto, and a few other sites found from Google Images. If you ask on the peice its self I'll be able to go back and find the pic I used and give credit though I tend to only have time to pop on to upload, update and download things(art, blog, amvs/machinima roughly in that order) I'm not going to always remember who's stock I used when I post the work. Though, do know I will tipically add them to my watch list so you can find them there. And I will also like to thank all you guys for creating the stock work to begin with.

So, all of you have probiably seen some of the lastest works I've been posting(and if not X.X why haven't you already). Most of them have been based off of Machinima work I've been testing. Using OOlite and photoshop. I know, I still love gimp and I do have it on my Mac its just that I don't want to go through the hassle of getting X11 and Gnome working on this thing.

I also have been playing with fractials, mainly because they are another expression of hacker and I mean true hacker artwork.

Hope you guys like the stuff, and do keep checking back. I try to get something up at lease every week or at lease make up for it the next week.

I've been working on the scripts for the latest in the Xin Bones series. Even have a PSA planed. Though, I've desided instead of writing them up week by week basis, I would do the whole twenty-three episode series in one go. This is why you've had to wait on them.
Sorry. Though your in for a real treat. Someone may die.. and only to be brought back agian to die.. muwahaha..

I've had plans for a poster done like the movie 300 for about the past week. Its not going too well, I can't find the stock images I need. I've just been hit for inspiration on Japanese Tea Ceremony. This is going to be fun. I'll have a few up within the next few days. And I would like to challenge anyone to try and create thier own version to the same concept. The best ones will be reviewed and I'll add a TalentHaven poster to it too so it gets seen.
