First off, I wanted to thank everyone!!! I made it to 300 watches a little while ago. Actually now, I have 320-something watches. I’m surprised I got to 300 watches in such a short amount of time. Also thanks for over 100 favs on Of Honor and Condemation . One, I thought it would a long time before I made it to 100 favs on a deviation of mine and Two, out of all my deviations I did not think that it would garner 100 favs as fast as it did. It was my first official photomanip and I looked up one day and the fav count was steadily shooting through the roof.

Next order of business wanted to say I’m semi-skipping DA town here. I start College of Creative Studies tomorrow so I’ll probably be busy. No, I’m not leaving for good but if I happen to be log-off for weeks at a time and look like I have skipped town you know I haven’t. I’m just busy. I’ll probably pop in and out every once in while, but I’d be surprise if I’m on even half as much as I’m on at present moment or have been in the past. Lol

But at least when I start uploading stuff again, I should have something halfway worthwhile to show off. Semi new skills and all that jazz. That and I want to say also that if I do happen to login for a hot minute, I would hope you forgive me if I can’t (or more bluntly don’t feel like) answering every single comment I get. I’d read them, of course. I feel bad just thinking about it, but there will probably come a time where I can’t really thank everyone or reply to everyone as I do now. That being said, who is pumped up to see Season 5 of Supernatural? The war is beginning and it's nerve wreaking!!

Have you guys seen the offical trailer of Season 5? [link] The song is haunting. I have listened to it quite a few times, and still is. Can't wait for the full song to come out! I'd like to hear it. Word is the version used was made specifically for SPN and they should have a full version on the CW site sometime.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. It gave me chills and scared me a little but it was awesome!! One of the best trailers made so far. Actually might be the best and if nothing else in the Top 3 at least. Though this is the apocalypse and sure to be nerve wreaking this will be the most optimisic season yet!!!

Just from watching the trailer, I feel like I want to pump out fanart! It's that good! Man, the few times I wished I had a subcription....you probably know that this journal would be SPN themed galore!!

July 28th:

Since I haven’t made a journal in awhile, I decided we needed a 2nd summer update.

Skipped DA’s town and come back to 863 Deviations and 404 Messages.

Though, I didn’t return empty handed. *points to new deviation* Though I guess if you aren’t a Supernatural fan, for you I guess I did come back empty handed.

I heard about the glich around here. Something about some people haven’t been getting the deviations into their inbox when they are upload.

Updates:

1. I finally have in my hands the official DGM soundtrack volume 2 and 3. And that concludes my splurge of the summer, thank you.

2. A few days ago, I got my official diploma and certificate. It’s kinda weird that almost 3 years of passed since I started college and now I have an Associate in Graphic Design and a certificate in Web Design. Time flies it seems. I’m just glad that it’s over and I can finally get to the first official step towards my dream; going to Creative Studies.

3. It seems lately that I have been somewhat on a role with upload artwork. I’m quite surprise that there isn’t a huge big break between the deviations that there normally is. Seems I have somewhat a creativity streak right now. Lol. I hope I don’t jinx it by saying that.





June 20th:
Yo-ho!!! With summer officially being here give or take a few days, I hope all is going well for you. I know it is for me. I haven’t brought too much of anything concerning manga or anything and been itching to splurge buy. I haven’t done so since probably last year. So I decided to remedy that and now I have quite a few things for a mall trip with my mother.

First off, I’ve got the the box set: D. Gray Man- Season 1 Part 1. I’ve been itching to get the set. Allen Walker!! Tyki Mikk!!! Road Kamelot!!! Lavi!!! Sorry a little happy happy….

So, I think we can breathe a little easy now. I think the internet situation has been resolved. It has been about a day and some and no huge problems. So hopefully there won’t be any problems for a long (emphasis on long) while.

I did mention in my “emo-moment” journal not to long ago, that I did have some news to share. Nothing big. Just thought I’d say that I finally officially registered for classes at CCS a couple of weeks ago. So I now know what classes I will have to take. Some of them take half the day. The one I’m really looking forward to is a life drawing class. They call it something else, but that is basically what it is, at the end of the day. It’s about time I got a serious life drawing class. I can’t wait to see what my art will be like after that class is over. Let me tell you, those people can teach!! Whoo, gonna be busy this fall. I am excited but I’m not in any hurry for summer to pass too quickly. I still need to charge up. By mid August though, I’m sure I’ll be hoping to get back.

Also, I have found this video on youtube that I think all artists need to see: [link] It’s about creativity. A writer (whom she says one of her books became mega-popular in it’s own right but I never heard of her ) gives a rough 19 minute speech about the subject. She really gives a lot of food for thought. I urge everyone to watch it, even if you have to watch it in pieces instead of all at once. That’s what I did anyway.

Also, I was wondering if anyone knew any good clothing sites. I have found a few already. Something above ebay, yahoo-shopping and those kinds. I plan to design clothing for my characters and I need some good reference sites. I’m poor at designing fancy outfits totally on my own. Any will do fine, but I am asking for specific sites such as gothic style/Lolita as well. Most of the clothing I want is geared towards men, but female clothing accepted as well. Just some “jazzy”/fancy clothing that probably would be termed costumes, since you don’t wear it on an everyday basis. Just something that is above your average Target/Mejier clothing line if you will. So if you have any sites of fashion/clothing that you may use, I’d hope you share it with me.

In fact that was probably just before I started college a rough mere 3 short years ago. Looking back at the drawings they were lame and cheap…..some of which is still in the back of my gallery……that I am slowly deleting to some extent……. But at the time I thought it was pretty good. Drawing was actually fun……

What do you think you moron? Knowing that there was so much more to accomplish, knowing that you could be so much more.

*goes on rant with arms flinging* I can’t draw a stupid thing without it turning into a stupid contest. My fault I know, but I can’t help it. I just want to be a “half-way” decent artist that comes up with fresh new ideas. I’m tired of drawing stupid boring things and it does no stupid good sitting up hour after stupid hour looking at MEGA-awesome work and wanting to do something like it. I get an idea and I end up tossing 99.9% of it because it doesn’t come out right. I can only do certain poses and junk! And who the world cares after the first 20 times of seeing the same lame thing!!

And I torture myself by hoping the day is the day I’ll get a good idea from seeing a good pic or something only to know I probably won’t see it through, cause it would be a total and utter FAIL! And I have a few good ideas for short animations that probably won’t get done anytime soon. I was going to attempt something this summer but that probably won’t happen. Seriously, how hard is it to do an Loituma: Levvan Polka animation. You draw a stupid character waving a stupid leek or something simple of the likes!!

Bakura: Over excessive use of the word stupid……folks this is serious!

I can’t even draw a cute guy to satisfy my inner girl…..self. Not even a fanart. Even though I do have one in my head that I don’t know if I’ll even do. And that’s another stupid thing. I don’t even attempt to do certain stupid ideas I have…..cause I can’t do it right now. Seriously, what do I have to do to just be satisfied with myself in my art!? *bangs head against the wall*

And it isn’t like I can turn off my creativity. If I could I would have been done that for the time being. Then it wouldn’t get on my nerves. UPDATE: May 8th

Mostly because I don't want to make another journal for something so trival and more than that don't want to get rid of this journal just yet.

Anyway, I am offically on summer break and don't have to go to school until after Labor Day in Sept. My last and only final was yesterday, so as far as I am concerned break had already started. I made it though the rest of the semester with my sanity intacted. The school will send me my degree and all that via mail I believe. They can take their time I am in no hurry. I was sick of that place. Onto the next phase of my life....after summer break that is. I need it.....

So, now I have X amount of months to do.....well nothing. Which for me translates into hopefully get done with some projects I have started and want to start. At least it's creative work for me that doesn't take all my energy and brain cells and I can stop whenever I want to. So some plans for this summer just because I feel like making a list:

See the new Wolverine: The Origins movie in theaters
Get the first box set of D. Gray Man from Funi.
Get done with original stories I hope to make into a mini comic someday
Start and finish a mini animation (I am obessesed with all those flash animations on youtube I've seen, serioulsy Lotiuma shouldn't be this diffcult to do )
Work on artwork, especially do more photo manips
Anything else I think I want to do

And that's kinda rough list of what I want to so this summer. Any plans you all have this summer? I hope the last days of schools go well for all of you so you can enjoy break.

Huh…..I guess not much have changed in almost a solid 6 weeks. Dunno, if anyone realized I dropped off the face of DA, but lots was going on in my life. Made a record for myself that I’m not sure I’ll be able to break. :laughing.

For those that want a one line summary and then want to bounce here it is, semi-big project in school that was a pain, and the biggest thing was getting my portfolio ready for going to an art school.

So that’s the one line summary. For those that want a more indepth, read on:

So this year I will be graduating the college I am in a transferring into an art college. Thank God, by the way. I’m so bored with the college I’m in. It has run it’s course. Anyway, I had to get a portfolio ready of course. And that has taken quite a bit of time and effort. I am done now and have turned it in yesterday. I am getting into the college, btw, I just need the official paper but I have been assured that I that I was getting in. When I get it I’ll let you all know, and a little more info as well. And even if I wasn’t assured, trust me I’m getting in. There isn’t a plan B, so that isn’t even an option. I’m so excited!!

I haven’t completely returned empty handed. I will be uploading some artwork, one of which went into my portfolio. The deviations Don’t be Rude….. and Carpathian Male (with a revised background) has made it into my portfolio. Lots of other things that probably won’t be shown ever here has made it into my portfolio as well.

I also have a Color theory class and we had to paint this ridiculous project. It’s not due for another 2 weeks but I finished it also yesterday to get it out of my head. That was the biggest project this semester.

So now, I’m just cruising, as far I know until the end of the semester this May. It’s kinda strange finishing everything. I’ve been in a light daze, and wondering now what do I do, now that I don’t have all that in my head. And because I finished all of that, I have been feeling very light. Light enough to return to DA and get back to my normal self. Working will take it out of you and you don’t want to do any more than you have to, ya know?

And that as they say is that. That covers a basic idea of where I disappeared to. I hope everyone has been well around here. I returned to find the hugest message box I have ever gotten. So much so, I can’t read or even look at all the artwork. So if I missed anyone or something…….thank you for the all the favs, the watches and the comments. Greatly appericated. Sadly, Christmas is over but the spirit of Christmas can’t be rid of that easily. I hope everyone has a good Christmas, Holidays and whatever else you may celebrate. I also hope you all got were you needed to get to and back saftely. I know that airports were a pain and whatnot. Lots of bad weather in the US.

Don’t know about you all, but my Christmas was awesome. My aunt came out Tuesday, Christmas Eve Eve, as I say. (points if you can figure out what anime I got that idea from) On Christmas day we got up about 6:30 and opened presents. Me, my mother and father as well as aunt. Just the four of us. Of course, I basically knew what I was getting, only a couple of things were a surprise.

So my list of presents, Christine Feehan: The Dark Series books, Alice in Wonderland novel, Narnia-Prince Caspian,money, a purse, DGM manga, hmm……and oh yeah, the best part….Supernatural box sets 1 and 2. Which by the way, I already watched half of season 1 by now. Been on a marathon and I’ve been waiting for this for almost half a year. My favorite eppies so far is Phantom Traveler and Faith.

Also, Christmas night, we had movie night and watched the DVD of Narnia-Prince Caspian. Even my dad sat and watched it with us. We don't usually have movie night cause all of watch different things. I loved the movie. Got the Special Edition version, so I'll watch the special DVD sometime. I'm gonna get the CD sometime. I loved the ending song.

And I’m looking towards getting Flash CS4 this coming spring with the money I got. God bless my aunt. Yep, my Christmas was awesome over here!! Then again Christmas is always awesome! How about all of yours? Do anything interesting, get what you wanted?

So this coming Thursday, I believe is New Years. Everyone looking forward to the new year, I know I am. Lots of things happening next year for me. Assuming everything goes right, and I have next to no doubt it will, one I graduate from the college I am in this spring and by next fall at the latest I’ll be in an art college. I can’t wait to continue my art education. Frankly, the college I’m in now has run it’s course. Once again please don’t ask where I am or going, thanks.

Anyone, here have any New Year resolutions? I don’t do resolutions per say, cause whatever I’m going to do I’m going to do and whatever I won’t I won’t. As mentioned in my last journal brieftly, I do have a goal. That goal is to accomplish something I can be proud of in art. Which for me is developing a long standing concept/manga/story something that actually is a bit more work for me. I guess that’s one reason for all the fanart. So, after 3 weeks, 1 day and a half, along with 534 deviations/177messages finally taken care off, I'm back. Yay. Not, that I think anyone actually realized I was gone. Set a record, since it's the longest time ever abesent from DA. I wasn't completely gone from DA as so much failure to login. Not to mention the last journal is over a month old.

I'm offically 20 as of November 10th. Major reason why I changed my Deviantart ID. Not much going on for that. We are going out to eat at Olive Garden today since I had to go to college the day of my birthday. As for presents: I got Dark Melody and Dark Guardian by Christine Feehan. Those books, kept plaguing me. I'm rereading them from the beginning again. A few things and mostly cause I don't want that long journal form before. That and I'm done with most stuff on my list.

First off, the fall semester is pretty much back in session for me. Started my first day, yesterday and gotta get into the swing of things starting Monday. For fun classes aka a type of art/creative class I have Advance Flash and Interactive design.

Second I know I've been uploading a lot. I guess after my long summer hiatus, I came up with some things, that and I've been working on stuff for contests. Along with watching D. Gray man constantly....hence all the fanart.

Yo-ho! Been awhile since my last post. Almost a month. I just want to take this time to once again thanks for all the encouragement in the my last journal. I know I totally went off my rocker.

Zombie Masters chapter 2 is almost finished. The rest is drawn out so not it's a matter of inking and toning on the computer. Only less that 10 pages to do I believe so I hope to get that done soon.

Right now I'm also on an almost 2 week break before my fall semester starts, and I plan to get a lot done. Mostly for my benefit to keep track of everything, but you all can see what I plan to get done or may get done. I'm planning to enter a few contests and instead of taking up brain cells trying to remember all the dates, I just will just make a list. Some of you may not know what I'm talking about since I'm writing it so I understand, but when I finish (assuming I do with some of them) you'll get it.

I seriously give up!! All of you may know my recent journals on how I'm kinda on art hiatus, thought I had something, had a little something, lost it....blah blah blah....

Well, forget it!! I'm offically on art hiatus! I've got nothing. I've been trying to fight it tooth and nail pratically all summer!

I find that I don't like drawing much right now, even thought there are times I'm itching to draw. Anyway, I find drawing to be too much work at the moment. Now if I could magically make what's in my head be on a piece of paper colored and all this would be a different story....but unfortunatly it just don't work that way. *twitch*

Also, I've seem to lost the stupid ability to draw for myself. I can't seem to draw anything in half way fear of it not looking right and or that people won't like it. It's an irrational fear I know. Try as I might, there is this nagging voice in the back of my head in which I try to ignore but fail (if I didn't fail this journal wouldn't even be here) telling me it's got to be perfect.

And looking at other awesome, cool artists doesn't help my mood to draw much either.

My mother says I need to go back and pratice some more. This art hiatus may because I'm in a rut and need to move forward with skills. But unfortunatly I don't have any true art classes anymore until next year fall if everything goes according to plan. And I'll be frank, I hate trying to teach myself how to do something that requires that much work. Yeah, I said it...

I've never in my life experience an art hiatus like this. I have most of my Zombie Master, for those of you who still remember it, Chapter 2, was it chapter 2?, great now I can't even remember the correct chap I'm on though I think I'm right. Anyway, I've got most of Chapter 2 done but I haven't drawn out the last five or so pages. I haven't even done anything pertaining(sp?) to my manga in at least a month I dare say.

And for the life of me I haven't even came up with a first good illustration for my manga either. I'm utterly and completely hopeless at this point!! *frustated cry*

Well, now this is quite the suprise. *is playing with the new version of DA* Been gone for roughly 2 weeks and I come back and there is this new layout. When I first saw it I thought by some fluke I had a subscription or something (tsk. yeah right) and it turned out that they updates.

I have to say I'm gonna like this new layout especially the message center. Since I've been gone so long I was dreading looking at messages since I knew there would be so many. And there was.....but with this new system I got done in half the time cause I seriously wasn't going through over 200 deviations not including messages. Uh-uh... I'm sorry.....

Longest I've never login to date. 2 weeks. Been quite busy. We had new carpet put down so you can imagine what we had to go through. Moving stuff......*grips head* I'm getting a headache thinking about. I was so tired, I seriously didn't care about this place for the while. (Lame, isn't it....) But now the drama is over and hopefully now my art kick will come back like normal. I figured out a little while ago that perhaps part of the reason I had such a long art hiatus (which to date never happened like this) was because I knew about this revenation(sp?) we had to do and it was just killing my buzz and everything else.

I do have an idea I might do, so it seems to be offically coming back. Actually, I didn't return completely empty handed. I have a picture I managed to do a few days ago that I'll upload and another one I've been doing for couple of weeks for a contest I'm gonna enter. I don't expect to win but...... ......the subject matter greatly interested me so you can look forward to that soon.

And as for the next chapter of Zombie Masters, I'm done with all but a few pages which I haven't even drawn out.....refer to reasons/excuses above.

First, I just want to thank all of you that answered my last journal! I didn’t expect many responses but it was nice to see other’s point of view who may have/or still is in some way have the same issues. So thanks for that.

Also, I just wanted to take the time to say thanks for the all the favs on Calm Envy-Aoi!! It has reached 50 favs and long since beat Color me Blood Red which had over 40 favs. I did not expect to have that many favs on the former (or the latter for that matter) and since it's halfway to 100, I just wanted to say a big thanks!! Calm Envy-Aoi is on of the few pictures I still love/am proud of, to this day, so I’m happy with the amount of responses it has gotten. And also thanks for the pageviews which is almost at 14,000. I'm thinking about having a kirbian for 15,000 since it's halfway to 100,000 pvs. Don’t know if I will…. Does anyone want to do a kirbian? If I have a few people who'd want to, I may. But even if I do I can’t promise that if you catch it that the picture I do for you will be tip-top which leads to the second part of this journal.

Apparently my skills, mojo, creative, whatever the world you wish to call it has gone on a semi-strike. I really don't have any ideas and I’m still not completely happy with my drawing. I'm trying to make my style more anime realism than just plain anime..... Or at least add more to my "style" Anyway, I'm kinda fresh out of ideas so........so sorry. Forgive me! T_T I know I used to update at least every other week but I've got bare minium up here. *taps head*

But ironically, I'm still going strong with Zombie Masters. The cover page of chapter 2 is up if you want something to chew and mull over. I'm a little more than halfway done with chapter 2 so that will be up hopefully not too long from now. So I guess I’ll focus on Zombie Masters and other stories I hope to turn into a manga in a future at the moment, that are top secert btw. Who knows, maybe I’ll come up with a halfway decent illustration for Zombie Masters. I haven’t really made an official illustration for the series yet. That and probably make- what do you call them- character profiles for the series. The good news is that if everything goes according to plan in Chapter 3 we’ll get on with it and introduce some more characters: the other good guys that will be in the story at least. That should be something to look forward to. At least I’m excited. ^_^

PS: Which reminds me, anyone here has any tips on how to do an illustration that may go with a manga? I always thought that the picture should have something to do with the story itself and not just the characters standing there but then again a lot of them look like they could just be a photoshoot of the characters. So for all of you who may be an illustrator or do that if you have any tips please feel free to share them with me! It may be that I’m trying to hard....I don't know...

Disclaimer: Semi-long rant and rave follows. Read at own risk. I apologize if this seems out of my character but I figure I should get at least a pass to rant/rave, and not in a good way, at least once or twice a year.



Let me start off by saying that I am basically feeling sorry for myself. I already know that. Not looking for pity, just want to vent. In real life I complain about these issues at least once a month, to my estimation anyway. Long time ago, it used to be more, try daily, so I suppose I’m getting better and the issues are fading, sorta, as time goes by. What are said issues, you ask? Well…..:


1. I pretty much don’t like my art at the moment. I can’t seem to come up with anything decent, much. I am working….slowly….on one pic that is being colored digitally and a portrait on the side. But overall I don’t like my work at the moment. I keep staring at other artists that are thousand miles away, slightly jealous (even though when I was younger I was always jealous but now it comes and goes), yes, especially if they are younger than I. That's a sad commentary in and of itself. If I had half their skill I might be better. I don’t know anatomy all that well. I can just barely do the basics so forget the crazy poses. I feel that I come up with the same lame-o thing I came up with the week before. So as you can see, that might be why you don’t see a lot of full figured drawings. I generally keep them away from the site.

2. I really, and I mean really want to be a professional manga artist, someday. A semi popular one at least….I mean I don’t expect to rival some of the greatest like D. Gray Man or Yu-gi-oh but still it would be nice. There are a whole lot of sub-issues about this that I don’t think I should go through. So I gotta get my art skills up and running more. I know I’m doing Zombie Masters as practice but haven’t worked on that for the past several days. Even that looks lame to me somewhat.

3. I have no social life. In real life, everything is basically the same as the day before, which I don’t mind 99% of the time but there are times when I wished I had some friends. This is one of those times. Even in high school I didn’t really have anyone. Sure I’ve had associates but that was all I had. Potentially friends, eventually had to move away so nothing there. I’ve always considered myself a loner but even loners gotta have a friend or two sometimes. We don’t have to hang out every day. In fact let’s not, I don’t want a clingy friend. Gotta do your own thing every once in awhile you know but still just to know you can call or email and go out would be nice. The only friends I've got are my fav. anime character or my own. Yeah, I know, I'm so lame.

4. Although I’m an anime fan and almost 20 years old I’ve never been to an anime convention. I hope to go someday but I do feel like I’m missing out. I keep hearing about how great they are and watching cosplay/convention vids and seeing how much fun that friends have together. Makes me slightly jealous, I suppose, reason why I tend not wo watch them much. And even if I did got I’ve got no one to go with, so I’d probably be alone there too. This point also ties into the fact that sometime I think I am behind in life. They are out doing things and I’m doing the same thing I’ve been doing for the past while. I’ve got nothing fun going on. The only thing I’m doing right now is going to college. I mean, I’ve never even been to Disney World and a little more that half the population probably have. Yeah, I know, laugh it up.

Whoo!! Don't know how many of you would care.... I also don't know if any of my watchers actually watch DGM off the top of my head but for those of you who do and don't know yet, I just found out a few days ago that Funimation got license to do at least the first 51 eppies. Probably will get the rest of them as time goes on. First DVD will release early next year 2009. Exciting!!

I don't know how some of you feel about Funimation but it's my favorite dubbing company and I'm so glad that they got it. I was thinking about possible voices and for fun I came up with a list.

Allen Walker:
John Burgermeir (he has an british accent and Allen is from Britian but I don't know if he could sound like a 15 year old but then again he did play Eyes in Spiral. He would just have to be more lively for Allen than for Eyes or even Kurama, who was more myterious in Yu Yu Hakusho)

Aaron Diamuke (I don't know how to spell his last name but was the voice of Ion in Trinity Blood. I think he could possibly do the voice)

Lenalee Lee:
The woman who played the voice of Esther in Trinity Blood. Don't know her name but she might be about to pull off her voice

Chucker Hurber (played Hiei in YYH and 17 in DBZ, Kanda has an attitude so his voice may work as shown with Hiei)

Anyone seen the season finale of Supernatural last night? (USA only, that I know of) I'm sorta new to the show....I came in like mid to end of 3rd season, I haven't a clue which, so I don't know all the ends and outs of the show but I know enough to follow. Anyway, I love the Winchester brothers, especially Dean!!! Jensen Ackles rules!

But anyway, last night's eppie was exciting, scary and sad all at the same time. I'm convinced by the ending (if you've seen it you might know what I'm talking about) that Dean can be saved somehow. And based on the ending, if he's trapped somewhere, they can find a way to save him. They better save him somehow. Let's face it, the show isn't the same without Dean..... Same as if you got rid of Sam......

And now, I and a lot of people who likes the show, gotta wait 4-5 months to know what happens next! 4th season they better start trying to bring him back....Lilth needs to die for hurting my poor Dean. Dean's a really good big brother! *hugs him then Sam* I hope they replay the show on TV from the beginning....

Other news, I don't know if anyone has gotten grades yet but if you remember my last journal talking about my trouble in Maya...........I got an A+. But now that I think about it, he said if you are getting a B in the class that doing good, but if you aren't a returning student he has less expectations of you. And since I was there all the time and at least tried to build something halfway decent I got a good grade. (The previous was not in any way a complaint! )

Actually I got straight A's this semester. 2 A's and 2 A+'s. I normally have an A-B average and 2 of the classes I wasn't expecting an A......a B sure. So this the first straight A's in a lot of classes at a time, I've had in college and the first including highschool I've had in awhile.

Huh, how about that. So if anyone hasn't gotten their grades back or are still doing finals, I wish you all the best with it!

Edit: I just wanted to say a big thanks to all my watchers for the support. I just reached 200 watchers. I'm still slightly shocked that in less than 2 years I would have that many. Going into this in the beginning I didn't expect 100 so soon much less 200. Thought it would take me years...note the 's' at the end of years. As for pictures....I know I haven't updated in awhile, nor have worked on any serious pics. They are all doodles here and there. I'm still working on coming up with something interesing. I am officically finished with college for now. 16 weeks of trying to keep my sanity intact and I have made it! No more filming, no more making music videos (though it was kinda fun doing it), no more animation projects, no more maya!!! I'm so done!!!!

You know, I don't normallly dislike computer programs, some I like better than others but Maya is a whole other issue. Took 5 minutes to find a stupid button on the first day. There is so much on the layout. 4-6 menus and each of those menus had more than 5 menus. See, where I'm going with this? So I offically don't like Maya. Thankfully, animation is just a side thing for me. But then again the way the program is set up, 16 weeks to learn everything and then we wonder why most of the class consist of returning students. Of course if animation is your major, you have to learn it somehow........

So now I'm free. The only thing I have to do for the next 8 weeks is do an easy online Nutrition class. But I don't have to go anywhere or anything so I'm still relaxing. And then the next 8 weeks after this 8 past I have one English class which will be fairly easy. I like english.

So basically I'm pretty much cruising until this fall when I got to get into the swing of things again. But that's months away............

Now......I am going to go chill the chilly chill.........

I'm on Spring Break! *would dance but is too lazy to do so* Started offically yesterday and I don't have to go back to school until next Monday. I've been fairly lazy and tired. Actually managed not to login for a week and a little over a day. Didn't really care too. So when I login today I had 100 deviations and 92 messages to look at. Actually I thought there would be more. Yeah........

Anyway, I've been having an artblock so I've got nothing right now, except for one picture but I don't feel like coloring it and I want to do it traditionally. Maybe the mood will hit be later this week. Been working off and on, on Zombie Masters. So that's coming along.

I've actually been thinking about the following for awhile so if you could take a few moments to answer some questions I would greatly apperciated! It would help me a lot!

1. Do you think that every piece of artwork is basically the same as the last, like you've seen it from me before?
2. What could I improve on? (If possible, be specific. I know I need to work on anatomy for instant, if you think so what should I focus on)
3. Do you think I should add more realistic flair to my anime style/artwork?
4. What would you like to see from me in the future?
5. Do you think that my artwork is too simple? Should it be more complex/detailed? (if possible, be specific)
6. Anything else you feel that I have not asked that needs to be address? (if so, tell me please)

Whoo-hoo!!! A few hours ago my Photoshop CS3 extended arrived!!! I'm so happy!!! They had me on pins and needles waiting for it to get here!! Of course it's not that I haven't seen the PSCS3 extended because ironically my college upgraded the PS CS2 to it.

So, now that I have it I can start coloring the pictures I already have drawn out! As well as try new things with it that PS elements 3 couldn't do. So exciting! So say goodbye to PS elements 3. May it rest peace. Let's have a few moments of silence.

Alright silence over, moving on. Let's see.....hmmm.....think that about covers it.

If anyone is still with me so far, I've started on drawing the first chapter of Zombie Masters. I have I think 3 pages not including the cover inked and toned and then 5 is half drawn or something like that. Which reminds me. Does anyone know a good digital tutorial on how to do blood splatters? I don't want to use an already made brush that you download. I did do the splatters to the best of my ability but if anyone knows a tutorial off hand I'd apperciate it.

I'm not sure when Chapter 1 will began since all I sketched out was the title/cover page for it. I will probably release by chapters not pages like some do. Blame it on wanting to stay organized to some degree.

This is my first time starting/attempting a manga of this magitude. This is mostly for fun and pratice, so forgive me if the anatomy or anything isn't 100% correct.

I made it so guests can comment and rate if they want to.

Here's the synopsis, also found at the site if you want a flavor of it:

Young lady, did life not grant you what you most desire? Did your life end tragically? Did your spirit turn in its grave, tears soaking the dirt you laid upon? Do you want another chance? Or perhaps, the fates themselves decided that it wasn't time to meet you yet for you had another purpose to fulfill. Regardless of the reason, there is a bond between us that is binding as a circle. Something neither of us, has zero control over. So then, arise, my dear, arise for I am your master and you are my zombie. I am...a Zombie Master...

I would have made this journal a day or so after Christmas not going on a week after but I was lazy, busy and too tired to login and whatnot. So I didn't.

I won't bore you all on all I got. Some of it I already knew about since I make a list every year. But there are always a least one or two things that are a geninue suprise!! So the suprise presents include:
1. 2 drawing books - was working with one and it's pretty cool
2. Japanese for Dummies book- I actually know new words and I haven't had it a week yet!

And the most exciting thing I haven't got yet but will is going to be Photoshop CS3 extended version. With the amount of money I got for Christmas and the amount I already have I have more than enough to get it. God bless my aunt! So give me a (very) few months and I'll have it.

Now, onto a new topic. We are probably wondering what does 'my manga' in the title have anything to do with anything. Some of you might have heard me mention that I'm working on a manga. Tis is true. I've been working on it for quite awhile and only have few little left to tone-well the first part of it anyway. I have also been working on the layout on the site that I have it up on.
In a few days, maybe tommorrow, depends on if I want to tone, I'll release excatly where it is and you'll be able to read the first part. One of the reasons I'm mentioning this now is because in a minute (depending on when you read this) I'll be uploading something about it. And the only reason I'm doing so early is because I need to use it for my layout and I found that you can use it as if it was a photobucket/imageshack link if you know what you're doing. So, until I release the link where you can see that manga, if you are interested, please no questions about it. Yeah, I know, you want to know already but I like to be organized and know that I won't change my mind-for whatever reason- about it. Do know I am dying to say something about, but for my "organization".............bear with me.

I got it!!! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!

Me: Manga Studio 3.0 EX Professional, baby!! *hops on Debitto's back* Actually, it is more or less a birthday present. We ordered it mid October and it arrived a few hours ago. Since my birthday was coming I told my mother to put it down as my birthday present. I have already installed it into my computer and been kinda playing with it at a bit. I'm so excited!! WHOO-HOOO!!!

Me: Was, you mean. It was Nov. 10th. I'm offically 19 now. It's kinda weird being 19, last year of teenage and all of that

The only catch is you have to be currently going to school. Just send in your ID and/or current schedule and you'll be able to get whatever you want that they have at a so much lower price than the original. Photoshop CS3 is next on the list for me.

I GOT IT!!!!!! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!! I am now the proud owner of a wacom!! I got it two days ago and I'm a-lovin it!!!! Thank you dear God for my beautiful wacom!!

And to celebrate that fact I now have a picture that I CGed in Photoshop elements #3 that came with the Wacom. So you guys can take a peek at that!! It's my first serious CG pic!! It was also the Trinity Blood fanart I was talking about in the last journal that I said you would have to wait to get an info on. Well the wait is over!!! I'm so happy!!!!
