Bought some dragon statues today
We went by a fantasy store. It is the store from a mother from an
old school friend from my sister. Get it? No? Too bad, read it again.
Anyway, I LOVE IT! Got 2 little ones and 1 big one. The big one gives light
in different colours. Tomorrow I try to take some pictures of all the dragon
statues I have and upload them here. I'm at almost 30 now, I think.

And a big thanks to my sis,who bought the big one for me (she owes me
some money though, but still) So I;m really happy

Midwinter Fair

Yup next up: Midwinter Fair. I'm going on 12th December and
I'm really looking forward to it. Everytime when I smell a burning
fire, I'm being remembered of Midwinter Fair. AAAAAAAAH can't wait!!
I'm going with: My sis, my mom, my sweet sweet bf and Gio. Anyway, gonna
be lots of fun as some other friends are going too! After Midwinter Fair
we're going to my bf place for celebrating his and his sister's birthday.

You still don't know what you get from me, hunn!

Anyway, really looking forward to it. Gonna buy some draggies (dragons) if
they have good ones.

I'm helping by shooting photos at meetings and convention. Also at photoshoot

Yup. Arcom has passed again. It was fun but reaaaally cold.
There were about 80 people that showed up (I think).Anyway,
the story in a logical order:

We went to Arnhem by car. We arrived around 10:30 am. I was a bit ill
because of the car ride. It went over quickly though. We went to the station hall
where a couple of people were waiting. When time passed by more and more people came
and I had to wrote down who arrived, so I was very busy with a list. Anyway, around
12:00 am we left the stationhall with everyone who was there. It was a biiig group!
But it was fun. We went to Sonsbeek Park. It's a nice park with a small lake and ducks
and gees and dogs of the visitors of the park. Once we arrived at our spot we did a
groupphoto. After that it was like: Everyone for him/herself. I did a photoshoot together with . We took pictures of the Yu-Gi-Oh group and Link. He did
some other photoshoots too, but I was busy with other things, so I couldn't join him.
Anyway, I loved it! Now I'm really looking forward to the Kingdom Hearts Meeting where we
will do a photoshoot again. *is wandering of* Back to Arcom story...
Oke, it was a great day with the sun and the games that was being played untill the sun
disappeared behind the clouds. It was COLD without the sun! Really cold. So cold that we
had to do a game to keep us warm. Well, after we warmed up a bit, about the half of the group was already gone because we were about to ate late (but in the end we could eat an hour earlier at the mcDonalds)or it was too cold or they had to go home. So we went
to the McDonalds with the leftovers. Got some fun there and a good warm meal. After we
finished our meal, we went back home. Had lots of fun, despite the cold. Let's see if we can do the next one on a warm day!

Busy
I'm really busy. Like I said in a previous journal, I'm doing an internship. I still
have a lot of fun there and I really like it. Not bored at all, I always have to do
something, which I really like. But because of that I also have a busy life at the moment.
Together with my boyfriend and all my other friends I have a couple of weekends with busy
moments. At least 'till New years day. But the weekends will be fun! Anyway, the point is:
Because of all this, I don't have much time to upload much. I'm glad I had some time for
the Arcom pictures I uploaded of the Yu-Gi-Oh group and Link.

Phone
Oke I have my phone by now! At least about a month. Anyway, it is working too.

yup I got him! My new phone. I can't call people with it, just yet.
My number still needs to be transfered to my new provider. Anyway,
a Samsung Star!! I love it already. Looks really good and everything works
quite perfectly. Only thing is that I can't get to my battery and sim that easily.
The lid for the battery doesn't work smoothly and I need to get there because
there should be the plugin for the microSD's. Anyway, gonna find out how I will do that.

Gonna tell this first as the story of Abunai is reaaally long!Next Saturday I get my new phone! A Samsung Star. Don't worry for changing my phone number in your phonebook. I will keep the same number for this one, because it is an easy number to remember I can't wait! I really want a new phone. My old one is all worn up and just...plain old lol. And I just want to change the provider.I have T-Mobile now, but I'm not happy with that one. So now I got Vodafone ^^ YAY! And now my story of Abunai:

Abunai 2009

Yes, it is passed already I miss it already and miss al of my friends.I had a great time there. It was so much fun with 4 people in the tent on the camping ^^ Started on Friday. We got in line but then realised that my sister is a gopher (volunteer) so she could skip the line. I followed her because we heard that Abunai needed some more gophers and I said I could help them out. Well after we arranged that, we still had to go in the line, but luckily enough some friends were already in the line, so we joined them (saved us some time, sorry for the rest of the people in line). Got our tickets (were sort of bracelets). Anyway, after we got that, we went to the camping to set up our tent. It went pretty well It's a big tent, so it took some time. Then we changed in our cosplay and went off back to the convention.... well..after calling a cab, because the busses didn't drove on a friday. GREAT JOB ABUNAI for arranging that >.>

At the convention we got in line for dealerroom almost straight away. The line was already long, but again, a friend already stood in line so we could cut in front (again sorry for the people in line). Ok, around 7:30 pm we could get in and we went in. Once inside it was a chaos. Everyone stood at the first stand and take a look at what they were selling and stuff, so the entrance was sort of blocked. I decided to go to the back of the room first, because that was quieter. Anyway, they didn't have much I really wanted or it was kinda expensive for what it was. Luckily in a sepirated room they had some Kuroshitsuji figures. I bought a Ciel and a Grell Figure. YAY! Took a quick look in the other rooms, but they didn't have things I liked either. So I got out of the Dealer Room area. After that I don't really remember what we did xD Around twelvish we went back to the camping and got to sleep.

Next day! We got up around 8:00 am. With a difficult morning start (and a good breakfast)we went back to the convention grounds. This time... WE HAD BUSSES!! WHooT!! I went as Sora Takenouchi from the first season of Digimon. I've been recognised a couple of times and got some photos. Oke, of this day I don't know in which order we did the events, so I just will sum it up. We did:
- visit the Game Room a couple of times (BLAZBLUE FTW!!)
- visit the Dealer Room again.
- visit the Maid Cafe
- do a round on the convention. (just checking some rooms and stuff)
- visit the Cosplay Act Competition.
- visit the Taiko Concert
- visit the Swirls and Burger King (Whieeeeeej)
- got on some photos.

and that was about it. Yeah of course.. we did went outside and had fun with friends of course! Oh and there was one game of Cosplay Chess. Anyway, it was fun and tiresome. Doesn't matter if you have fun Awell, we went back again for some more sleep.

Last day! Sunday was a cleaning up day. We packed everything again, except for the tent. My parents offered to clean that up for us. We made it sure that they didn't have to do that much ^^. Last time with the bus to the convention grounds. Saying hi to everyone and for some already a goodbye.This day is a bit of a blur to me. I really was a bit down because it was the last day and I was really tired. I hang out outside. Sometimes went inside for a game of BlazBlue (got addicted already and it's not even released in Europe),got to go to Swirls again (it's so yummy) treated my bf and a friend a Swirl and got back again. Went to the AMV Compo. They had some great AMV's again. Too bad there were two Death Note AMV's with flashing effects. I couldn't watch them 100% because of that. I'm epileptic so I could get a seizure of those flashing effects. That's why. Yes, I started with my internship (stage voor de nederlanders.
I hope I wrote it right. Anyway, I'm working for my study, let's put
it that way. So far so good. I have a good time here and learning a lot.
I have to work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Further nothing important or
interesting to tell though.

Abunai 2009: Once more with feeling!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Oh yeaaah!!
Abunai is on the way again! Next week from 18 to 20
September, the whole weekend. I'm so looking forward
to it. Meeting my old friends again and some newly friends.
Our tent is completely full with fun people and my lovely
boyfriend of course. Gonna cosplay again. I have my Sora
Takenouchi cosplay and my Umbreon cosplay.

Ok, I wanted to wait till I got back from Spain (Yes I'm
also going to Spain) but since I want to share something
with you later on in the journal I decided to do some
telling now.

I'm back for a week or 2 now from Tunisia and I had a great
time there! I went with my boyfriend and co. It was my first
time there so I gotta get used to the temperature there but
that went quick. Anyway, we did lots of fun stuff. Riding a
dromedary, going to an island and driving a jetski!
I miss it already but I'm a bit glad I'm home too. Got back tainted
and all ^^ yaaaay!! I'm gonna upload some of my fave photo's soon,
after I get back from Spain. Btw I saw some dolphins too!

Ok after we got back from Tunisia we had a week of fun again
in my own homeplace. There was this Cosplay Camping Meeting.
We did some activities and get to known other people. It was
really fun, despite the rain (it rained like 3 days or something).
We could do the activities in the dry periods we had though. LOL

So far the summer vacation I had. When I got back my best friend
told me she couldn't go on vacation. Her other friends couldn't go
and I already went on vacation. After some thought I decided I haven't
seen her in a looooong time and what better way to end a summer vacation
then going on a vacation to Spain with your best friend?! So I told her
I want to go on vacation with her. Well, if you wanna wave me goodbye,
we're leaving monday. LOL

Artistic Stuff
No not mine. I'm not that artistic. Anyway, I surfed around the internet

2nd June was my birthday! I'm 21 now. Although it feels the same as every year

Although I'm 21 now, I won't be having a party. My weekends are full and my friends have

Valentine
Of course. Last weekend I had a super, great, awesome and loving valentine weekend.
It was not only Valentine for me and my boyfriend but it was also a celebration for being one year together. How we do that... no idea I reaaaally love him! He gave me a heart with Verkade chocolates, a heart-shaped pillow with the text I love you and a heart-shaped waterjug ^^ Went out for diner and cinema and on sunday we went swimming together. Anyway, it was a great weekend and I hope we stay together for a looooong looooong time Love you hun!

Oke..so I went to Tsunacon last sunday. It was a hell of a day!
Not just because Tsunacon wasn't that good for what I expected, but
the trains wasn't working with us aswell >.<
I'm not going to tell what was wrong with Tsunacon. I already said
my opinion on a messageboard and that is good enough. I didn't enjoyed
the convention much, but my friends were there so that made it up for a big
part. Anyway, I hope next year will be much better and I hope they will listen
to the visitors feedback/comments.

Yeah I decided to go to Tsunacon anyway. After a talk with a good friend of mine, I realised I had to go to some events again and meetings. The last meeting I had was Arcom (Arnhime meet) and that was, together with Winter Efteling meet, the only ones that I went to. I have been to the Events, though. But still. In a year it's not that much to me. So, I'm coming too. If you see an Ash, it will be me. Not going to make another cosplay.

Winter Efteling
No I didn't go to the meeting this year, but I will go to the Winter Efteling anyway. This sunday, my parents, my sis, my boyfriend and me are going. I'm reaaaally looking forward too it. Has been a while since we went together to an amusement park. Especially the Efteling.

I know it's a bit late, but better late then never!
Happy new year everyone. Hope you all still have your fingers. I do. I spend my New Year at my boyfriend's place. They had quite some fireworks and it was fun. After the fireworks we took a stroll through the neigbourhood. Some had put on a fire and some were still celebrating new Year with fireworks. On 2nd January we went back to my place. We cleaned up my room too. *Thank you hunny*
Anyway, our 2009 started good .

I hope I can get back to drawing soon. I still suck, but I'm trying my best. School is starting tomorrow aswell, so I think I have less time to draw aswell. But the photo's will be coming once I have them.

Xmas
I know it has past, but I still wanna wish you all a happy Christmas and for now a happy new year. Next year will be the year of the Ox, so maybe I will draw something for that.
I celebrated Christmas eve at my boyfriends place. It was really great. Had fun and all and got some presents I really really like!
First Christmasday we celebrated at my house. That was great too, although my mother and sister were sicky. Food was nice and we had a great time. The second day of Christmas we went to my grandparents place. We always celebrate it there. A great time again and lovely food and stuff. Too bad I had too much of that food so last night I had stomache. But that is over already.

I miss it already, but I'm looking forward to New Years Eve. I'm at my boyfriend's home again. So, from here on: Happy New Year already! Hope you all had much as fun.

Today we went to the Midwinter Fair. A gothic/fantasy event here in Holland. It was fun. We had to get up early. Around 7:00 am my alarm clock went of. I got dressed and everything. Around 9:00 we left home and drove to the Archeon where the Midwinter Fair is being held, got our ticket and finally we got in! At first we went to the Meade and More. My mom had bought a bottle of meade at the Elf Fantasy Fair, but somehow when we got home, the bottle started leaking at the top. That's why we went back to explain what happened. We got our money back and bought two other bottles of meade. After that we went strolling in the tents where you could buy lots of stuff. Well, I don't exactly remember where we went in what order so I will tell you what we did and what I bought.

We ate in the Herberg and my sister went to her Larp group/thing.
We met some friends from the Aniway Forum and some old friends from another forum. We walked ALOT! I got dressed up by a great lady. I eventually bought the full dress and the corset that goes along with it. Oke, oke. I didn't buy it really, because it was quite expensive. So my mom did but I have to pay the corset back.
Anyway... I also bought 2 dragon statues. One of them is really great and quite big! But for 10 euros it was quite a cheap buy for me! Well after we got our sis back (who died that day twice....in a LARP battle)we finally went home and now I'm sitting at home with painfull legs from all the walking. But it will be alright.

If you read this...well I just spend 1 or 2 minutes of your life.
You could have done something usefull in that time
Anyway, for the ones who went aswell. Hope you had fun.

Not gonna explain that further

I think I won't be uploading alot of drawings for a while. I feel like I don't improve anymore since last half year. So I want to learn more about drawing Manga characters. But if I want do to that good enough, I have to focus on that and therefore I can't upload drawings. Maybe I will sometimes, but not much. Instead I will upload photos. Since today it is snowing, so Winter is on his way and I can make lots of pictures (I hope)

Today we went to the Zoom Experience in Utrecht, Holland.
It's an event about photographing and all things that comes with it (like software and stuff). It was fun. Learned some things and bought some new stuff. I have a 18-200 mm lens now. It's way better than the standard lens I had first Anyway, I made some pictures there. There was a skatepark where some guys did tricks and stuff and there was a remake of nature (something like that) so you could take photos of some flowers and a fake Rhino .

I'm going to upload some pictures. First some picture with the theme: Autumn and then a couple of pictures from the event. There is a big chance I will upload more photos than drawings right now. I just want to try out my new lens and stuff. Well, take a look yourself!

Arnhime Meet/Arcom

Yes! 2 weeks ago we had the Arnhime meet in Arnhem.
It was a lot of organisation, but it went all well.
Around 10:30 we gathered at Utrecht Station.
From there on we went to Arnhem, because that was the place to be that day! When we arrived (11:32) some of the guests were already there. We told everyone who arrived to wait outside. Almost an hour later around 70 to 80 guests arrived at Arnhem. That was some view for the random people there. Oke, so we decided to go, but before we really went one big groupphoto at the stairs. Oke, oke. After that we walked to the forest. That should have been an 20 minute walk, but due to some miscalculation (that could happen, no problem! )it became an hour walk. When we finally arrived everybody got to their bums and ate their lunch. Soon after that the games came out and everybody had a good time. We stayed there 'till 17:30. Then we went on. Walking to another part of the forest for some photoshoots and after walking to the snackcorner!
Some fries were bought and other stuff and again a good time at the children's playground. After that (around 20:00) we went on to the station. It was getting late and most of us had to go home. So, then with the rest (what was left) we headed back to the station, said goodbye to everybody and went home.
It was a good day. Learned a lot for a next organisation of the Arnhime Meet.Speaking about it...

Since we had some trouble with the name Arnhime, we decided to change it to: Arcom, which stands for (really simple): Arnhem Cosplay Meet. So from now on we call it Arcom!

Oke, last I uploaded the picture with Checkers and Chezza.
I really liked it, but now I really don't like it. Not because it is a bad drawing (on one point it is, but oke), it's just that I don't like her outfit and everything that fits her personality.

Oke, let me explain. I drew the character before I even thought up a personality for her. But now I have it clear in my head what she is like and what she does and everything and the outfit just doesn't fit with that. Sooo, excuuse me... for giving her a different outfit than this one! (A) But I think you will understand and if not, well...too bad!

Gijinka's and the progress of it.

About the Gijinka's. I know I haven't been uploading some Gijinka's but tht is because I'm busy with the project for school. It requires alot of hard work, so I don't have the time to work on the Gijinka's. Once that project is over (about 3 weeks)I will continue on the Gijinka's. I have an idea for Lucario, but I can't draw it. In other words, I have it in mind, but I can't get it on paper (in this case in Photoshop). So be patient and I will certaintly finish it for you guys, either you like it or not!

on cosplays for next year.

BUT, nonetheless, it was awesome!
We, (my sis and Giovanni) went to Abunai at friday.
We were supposed to leave at 15:00 pm, but our driver arrived a bit late. When he arrived we stuffed our stuff in the car and drove to Zwolle. At the camping we put up our tent and left for the convention. Aaaah, it was great to be back! 8) Hugged and glomped all my friends again. Got our ticket and went strolling around the con. It was totally new as it was in Zwolle for the first time. In the beginning it was like a maze (like some said already on dA) but when you got the hang of it, it was kinda good to find the event rooms.

Well it went on like tis on Saturday and Sunday too. Hanging around with friends and visiting the events.

On saturday was the Name That Tune competition. Me, Laurie and Patrick ()joined it too with the Onigiri Squad.
We were SO BADLY owned by Muffinforum xD but it was fun nonetheless. We also went to the Cosplay Act Compo.
This time there were more skits with quality. Not every skit was great but 80 to 90 % were goooood! My fave (and I think for the most) was the Spirited Away skit. I still get gosebumps just thinkng about it. It was awesome and just.... GREAT!
My second fave is of course the Castlevania skit (A) Just brilliant and my bf was in that skit Still love ya hun, although you Rick Rolled us!

Last day was a good day too, although my morning started bad.
I had a sort of stomache, because I ate like almost nothing on saturday. Stupid of me, of course. So I just had to eat, but it was so bad I didn't feel like eating (which is more stupid of me)
So I came sick to the convention. When we arrived, we had some more chats with friends and decided to go to the dealerroom. After that I was so tired and sick, I just HAD to eat. So before we went to the AMV compo I bought Noodles and that helped a lot! (although the noodles werent that good)So with some good health we went in the main hall to look at the AMV compo. It was fun again with the cheering to friends and the good amv's (most of it).
Well I could tell more, but it's so much! Well, go next year to Abunai and see and experience it for yourself.
On one hand I hope it is in Zwolle again ('cause of the space we had on the convention) but on the other hand I hope it's in Enschede (because of the locations of the camping and cabins)

Anyway, we'll see what's coming. For now I still have to decide if I'm going to Animecon 09 or not. It kinda disappointed me this year, so I have my doubts about it.

Next year I'm going to Chibicon and Abunai again and maybe I'm going to be a gopher on both cons!

Abunai:

Yeah! Still 9 days left for Abunai. More people on DA who are going to Abunai are excited to go! I've seen a couple of journals which announced that Abunai was on the way. Of course I'm going to!
But I already mentioned that in August. Anyway, today 2 friends asked me if I want to join Name That Tune competition. So, I said yes. I just hope we will do it alright.

Still have to work on Toph though. I have the cape and the pants, but that is about it T_T . WHAAAAAAAAAAA!! ...I hope everything is going to be alright.

Story Again
In about, probably, two weeks I'm going to have my laptop back. If I can, I will try to work on the story again and post it here. That's at least for sure now. I heard from several people that they liked it, so I decided to upload it anyway.

We decided that she does 3 outlines and 3 colorings and for me the same. The Pokemon's we are going to draw would be:

Yeah, last Saturday we got back from our vacation in France. We left at Saturday 12 July. We have done quite some things. Disneyland Paris, canoe, watched a show and fireworks and some other things.
It was fun and my boyfriend was with me as well.
Anyway, I'm back and preparing for the next upcoming event: Abunai.

Abunai
Yep, end of september there is the next event: Abunai. We are going the whole weekend! The only thing is...I have no new cosplays yet but I'm working on it. I'm going to look if I can make the Fire Nation outfit of Toph. I have also an outfit for Blue from Wolf's Rain. But I'm not sure if I'm going to put that on. 80% sure of it, 20% not sure.
Anyway, who are going aswell?! And are you going the whole weekend or only the saturday?

Story
I still have my story. I'm not sure if I can finish it, because I wrote it with InDesign. I don't have that program anymore but I'm going to try to re-install it. If that doesn't work I will at least upload the first three pages of it.

Yesterday was Chibicon 2008! It was my first time going to THIS convention. I didn't really know what kind of cosplay I would wear, but decided to do a Rin cosplay. I didn't pay to much attention to do it good, 'cause it was an one day convention.
When we arrived there there were already some people there.
We waited some more and around 10:00 am the doors opened. Standing in the line and after an half an hour or so we were in. I got my Press Card and left our bags at the Bag Room. We went to the main room and damn, that was kinda cool! First thing we saw was the Game Corner and we played Naruto for a moment and then we went on to the dealerroom. I bought a necklace from Nana and then my money was...kinda gone. I hadn't too much money with me so the only thing that I could buy was that necklace, but that doesn't matter. Then we took some photos for a professional photographer and looked around some more, hugged people and laughed our lungs out! It was so much fun there!

The only thing I didn't like were the technical things at the main stage. Mic's didn't work or weren't used for the Cosplay Skits and therefore the half of the conversations weren't heard. Too bad. But further on, the Karaoke was awesome, spend a little time a the drawing table and the DDR. Sumo wrestling was awesome xD I laughed so much

Well, next year I'm definitely going again. I just hope that the technical stuff is better organised.

Story?

I'm busy with a story, but I'm not sure if I should post it her. I know you probably gonna say I should, but I still want to think about it. I'm afraid I won't finish it (like I did with some other stories I wrote, didn't post it though). So I'm still thinking about it. It is kinda of a fantasy story with dragons and elves (it's a bit of a cliche but I don't care) and maybe I will draw some picturs which goes along with the story.

Chibicon and Vacation
Yeah at 5 july there is the fabolous and great
Chibicon! I'm really looking forward to it.
That will be the first time I go to Chibicon, 'cause last time we were on vacation. Still don't know what to wear though.

Anyway a week after chibicon we are going on vacatioooon!! That is going to be so much fun ^^. My bf will come with me and we all are going to Disneyland Paris.

I also finished my first schoolyear (after 1 and a half year T_T not gonna explain, happened a lot)So I'm really happy about that

Finally my report on Animecon 2008.
First of all: It was fun!
Second of all: That was the last time I went for the whole weekend.(Gonna explain it later on in my report)

Oke. On friday we were going to Animecon! We first picked up

After we arrived at the Alternatief Slapen (Alternative Sleeping) we saw our other friends waiting there. On the building where we were about to sleep was a note saying that the person who should do the check in, was there around 13:00 am. But at 13:00 am no one was there to check us in. So we decided to get the key and went into the building. After we pumped up our air beds and dressed us up in our cosplay we said goodbye to our parents and walked to the Animecon. It was about 20 minutes. Anyway, once we got there we headed in and got our visitors badge. I can't really remember what we did exactly. I guess hang out outdoors and then around 20:00 we were in the dealerroom. I bought 3 DVD's and a Kakashi keychain. Oh and a Luigi figurine for my boyfriend. Anyway, after that we were heading back to the AS (alternative sleeping) and we hang out there some more and then (after a please-be-silent-night) we finally got to sleep. Next morning some of our group had to go to Animecon early in the morning for some explanations about the stage where they were going to perform. WEll, hello wake up call T_T. Anyway, dressing up as Ash Ketchum again and some breakfast before going to animecon. After we were finished there, we were walking again to animecon.
Can't remember exactly in which order we did the following things:
Went to:
- The dealerroom
- Video game room
- DDR room
- AMV competition
- Cosplay Competition
- Outside for the PHotoshoots.

It was fun though. Hang the most of the time with my boyfriend. Love you, hun! With the photoshoot it was really funny. Naruto vs. Bleach, Phoenix Wright/SSBB/Sweeney Todd, Akatsuki, Pokemon, Organisation XIII and so on! Got quite alot of pictures of them.
After that it was about 20:30 pm or something and we headed to the Karaoke room. We wanted to sing 2 songs, but there was a 2 hour waiting list!! Damn it! and it was already 21:30 at that time! So we decided to cancel the songs, but the guys there were so kind to move our songs up in the list and we had to wait just 10 min! Well, after we sang our songs, I said goodbye to my boyfriend and we were heading back to the AS. After another rough night, we woke up again for the last day of the con. We still had fun, but you could tell that everyone was tired. We hang outside more and went in to town for some food and stuff. Decided to buy 2 figurines of Naruto and then it was over. We headed back again to AS to clean everything up and then we drove back to home again.

It was fun, but definitly the last time for a whole weekend. It is WAY too expensive and the rules of Animecon are TOO strict! Come on, as long as you can see our badge, nothing is wrong.

Chibicon, SOLD OUT!
Yesterday I heard that Chibicon was sold out! 1000 Tickets has been registrated and maybe already sold! It is the second time Chibicon is going to be held at Utrecht. Last year I couldn't go, because we went on vacation, but this year I can! I'm really looking forward too it!

(although it's not really fascinating). I'm really busy with school now. Some stressfull days
this week. Next monday (March 10th) I have a presentation for the project we are working on. Aside from school I also have 2 other things to do. I have to make sure that the logo of my uncle and aunt's company is delivered correctly at the printing office.
It's a bit of a hassle though. Then they need one thing, then the other. Awell, not to worry though. Then my other thing is that soon I'm going to make the website (together with my dad and mom) for the choir where my mom sings. It's going to be fun though. The site they have now is kinda...bad. So we're going to fresh it all up.

Sunday! Sunday is a Cosplay Convention (Mahouda Con). It is organised by students from the ROC school in Eindhoven. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope I can get my cosplay to finish for that time.

Other thing is that I will be upload some Dragon drawings. I really am a big fan of dragons and I found this new: HTD (How to draw) dragons book. My first dragin is that Fire Dragon 1 i already uploaded here. Soon I will upload another one.

Then 2 other conventions on my way! First up (after Mahouda Con) is Elf Fantasy Fair. It's going to be my third time. This time I won't be going with the Harry Potter Forum I used to go with. It's kinda over there. I kinda had it with some members. Then 2-4 may there is the Animecon I'm really looking forward to. It's going to be awesome (and expensive T_T)! If the price keeps up like that I won't be going next year.

Winter Efteling Cosplay Meet is over. Too bad though. It was sooo much fun!
At 9:45 we arrived at the entrance of Efteling. We saw some cosplayers right away.
When morning was passing more and more cosplayers arrived and alot of hugs and glomps were given. Then around 11:00 we decided to form a line and everybody had to pay their entrance price (that is 21 euros). After half an hour or so we were finished and we had more than 2000 euros for the entrance. Then we went inside the park with the whole group (105 man). We had to decide where we would say our little saying before we got into the rides and everything. But after we had decided that and did our little saying, we went to our famous giant couch to take pictures with the entire group (105 MAN ON THE COUCH!) It was huuuuuge o.0.

Anyway, after that we divided the big group in little groups and we headed off to the rides.
We had lots of fun (MOND HARMONICAAA) and we took about 5 rides or something. Anyway, going into the rides with alot of cosplayers is really fun. Especially when you see pictures afterwards of the rides (like Vogelrok and the Bob). Aaaalll cosplayeeers. Whuhehehe. Aaah can't wait till the next meeting! I miss you all! T_T

Next meeting will be Animecon or sooner (if there is any in Almere).
Aaaah I hope I can get my costumes finished before Animecon.

Finally it is 2008! I hope you all had a good new years eve/day.
At least I had Well....at least till 6:00. Then we had a rough morning.
Some dudes crashed another car into our car. I saw it all happening, so I woke up
my parents. When we got by the cars the guys were already gone. Police came and made a report of it. A good start for 2008!

Anyway... After that I had some new stuff to do. At least at 6 january we had a cosplay
meeting in Utrecht. It was some good fun we had! And maybe we come in to the dutch
magazine Aniway. After that meeting we went to a snackbar to eat something and then
into the Pool cafe next door. It was fun.

Then some kinda bad news for me. I have to do my schoolyear over for half a year.
But somehow I kinda new, so I'm oke with it. But it means I can't come alot at DA
anymore (homework and stuff)

Other stuff that still has to come:
This friday we go to the Boekenfestijn in Rotterdam. That's some kind of market with
books, so there will be quite som manga's to buy for E 1,95 and other books.
Got 10 new manga's: 2 of Grenadier and 8 of Boys Be

Then we have the Winter Wonder Efteling Meet at 26 janaury. A huuuuuuge group is
coming to that meet. At least over 100 people!! That is ALOT!
Aaah it was awesome. Soon more about it in my next journal!

Then at 9 february we have the Naruto Cosplay meeting (organised by: See bottom of
the journal) That will be fun too, 'cause like the name says, it is a Naruto meeting
And I'm going as Sasuke.

Other stuff I like to say:
Yeah well.. I don't think I'm too much at DA anymore, mainly because of school. I have
other stuff on my mind aswell to sort out first before I can draw any stuff and all. Another
thing is that I need to get used to my 'new life'. I made a lot of new friends in the past
half year and I'm not really used to that. It made such an impression on me that I have
to hit the break on meetings or other outgoing appointments and stuff.
Another thing will be that I'm going to upload more photo's then drawings, 'cause I just
love to photograph!

I can't sleep easily anymore. So my curiosity took it over and I looked outside.
I wasn't that impressed though by the sight I had, but then I thought the park
nearby must have a fabulous sight! So I took my camera and went to that park.
And I was right! It was GORGIOUS! Man, I haven't seen that view before in that
park! OH....MY...GOSH!...Well take a look at the pictures and you know what
I mean.

Back again and some time for a journal!
At 8 december was the Midwinter Fair in Alphen a/d Rijn. Around 8:45 we went to pick up a good friend of ours. We were a bit late, but well that happens.

Anyway. Around 9:00 am we headed towards the Archeon were the Midwinter Fair was held. Once we got there we saw some people outside waiting from the Harry Potter Forum. We said hi and then we headed to the real entrance. Inside we strolled around the grounds and we visited the Larp group Arcana, because my sister is a member of that group. Around 11:30 we headed to the Herberg for the meeting with the Harry Potter Forum. For me, I think that is the last HPF meeting I will ever join again. After 15 minutes we left again. Patrick and Esther were already gone, so my mom, me and my sister went further to visit the rest of the stands and buy some more stuff. After a while we sat somewhere and we came across another group of HPF members. I joined them (Those people were at least nice to us) and we walked further across the grounds. After a while I came across my mom and sis again and my mom told me she saw Alex, Marcella and others of the Cosplay group so I searched for them and when I found them I joined them and walked the rest of the day with them. That was such more fun! Well, around 17:00 most people went home again. Only my mom, me, my sis, Kim and Esther went further and we listened to the music in one of those stands. After a while we went home aswell. We took Kim to the train station and then we headed home ourselfs. It was great fun, but like I said: It's the last time I join a HPF meeting.

Arnhime Meet
Yesterday (15 december) we had a Cosplay meeting in Arnhem. OMG The best time I ever had! Whuhahahaha! Shannon slept at my house. That was already fun. At 7:45 am the alarm clock went off and we got up. We prepared everything for that day (food, drinks, money and so on) Around 9:15 we walked to the train station to buy the trainticket and at 9:49 we got our train to Arnhem. Once we got there we didn't exactly know which to go, but then we came across some other cosplayers! So along with them we went to the place where we should met. Other cosplayers were there already. Around 11:30 everybody SHOULD have been there, but of course....well you know. We had to wait for people (especially Esther and Alex! >.< Well once everybody got there we headed off. First we went across the store where the mother of Josca works and said hello to here. After that we headed to the book store where they had mangas. Too bad they hadn't Loveless 5,6 and 7. Damn it, so no mangas for me. Anyway, then we walked further. I don't even know what we did. I think I left with Alex and Jorg. Yeah that was it.
Alex, Jorg and me were going to the cinema but no funny or interesting movies were shown on that time, so we decided to go somewhre for some eating and drinking. We found a lovely eating...thing..Don't know how to call that in english. Anyway we ate there and drank some and had a good laugh. We sat there for over an hour. Then we decided to pay the check and get back to the group. We found out that they were in the McDonalds. After we visited a bookstore we went to the McDonalds aswell. There they were. All upstairs. Crazy group as they are! Whuhehehehe. Well, we joined them again, had some good laughs again and after half an hour we headed back downstairs and visited the Jamin. That's a candyshop. I bought 2 lollipops and then we were heading back to the trainstation again. It was time for the most people to leave for home. So we said goodbye to the most people. Then we were going to our trains ourselves. We went with Alex, Jorg, Shannon, Brandon, Rob and 4 other people (sorry forgot the names ) in the train and headed to Utrecht and Amsterdam. Finally when we got home in Almere we stayed over at Shannon's place. We had some good laughs there aswell and when we finally got to sleep, the day was over.

I miss you all! Wish it was still yesterday. Anyway, soon there are other meetings! (new years meetings, Winter Efteling Meeting) I'm really happy with you all!

It was really fun. Especially today!

Today we went to Amsterdam with a group of 12. They had signs
with Free Hugs. So, ofcourse, we gave and got pretty much Free hugs!
Really, since 12:00 am we were walking around Amsterdam. My feet are tired right now. I don't even know where we went exactly today
Oh and there was a fair and I went into an attraction. It was great!
There were a few moments I just felt all my blood going to my feet
Lol.. I didn't fainted So don't worry.

Anyway great day! Definitly should do that again Miss everybody again.

Also I have quite some troubles lately, so it could be that you don't hear a lot of me at the moment.

Friday:

At 12:15 I left with Patrick for home. We went to Patrick's home first to get some stuff ready and to talk a bit about the Event. Then I went back to my place, got my stuff and helped my mom out with the last things for the Tenten costume. At 15:30 Patrick and the family arrived and we left for Abunai! We almost had an 2-3 hour drive before we got there. When we arrived we went to the hotel where Patrick and so on were sleeping and then we went to the con it self! When we were there it was amazing! A lot of people where cosplaying (ofcourse!) and I was there in my L (Death Note) costume. We strolled around the con and hugged and glomped lots of friends we've met at AnimeCon '07. It was great to see them again! Around 11:00 pm we headed back to the Cloack room to get our stuff and we went back to the Cabins. I changed my self in to the Tenten costume and we headed back for the 'disco' We left pretty fast. I thought it wasn't that amazing.
We headed again back to the cabins and got ourselfs a bed. We had a lot of fun that night. Chatting and laughing and stuff! I didn't even know those people who slept except for my sister! Anyway, next morning:

Saturday:

At 8:00 am we woke up. We got ourselfs in our costumes and headed back to the con.
I was as Nekozawa because that day we had the Cosplay Act competition. It was great Quite some people recognised me as Nekozawa and wanted to take a picture. At 13:00 am we had to go to the rehearsels. It was kinda stupid, because we had to wait at least an hour before we got started, so the show was delayed aswell with one and a half hour! Anyway, I wasn't really nervous. Although, when I had to get up I almost forgot my line, but I remembered it quickly so all went well! we hadn't won an award, but I don't mind. It was already great to do it! After the show there was a cosplay photoshoot for the ones who joined the Cosplay competition. That was pretty fun too! Freaking out Tamaki-kun (Ferdie). Mwuhhahahahahaha !
I don't kinda remember what I did after. Yeah, well....took some pictures and go to bed. But there were other things to do.....never mind!

Sunday:
Woke up at 8:00 again. Got myself into the Slytherin Student (Harry Potter) costume. I was the only one who did that. In the afternoon I changed myself in to the Tenten costume again. I just love it! We had again a lots of fun. Karaoke, drank some and laughed and talked and tooking pictures! Anything I could do the last day
Then around 18:30 our parents came and we left for home.

Now I'm sitting at school writing this damn thing! I know it's not detailed, but ALOT happened that weekend (good and bad) so I'm not really concentrated to write a good journal. Overall it was a lot of fun and I had a great time!

Today Patrick and I went to Amsterdam to visit the "China hood"
as we call it. Anyway it took 2 hours or something to find it!
Baka Patrick! lol...Anyway when we found it (finally) we find out
that there was no Ramen in the shops. Well, there was one, but we couldn't pay it with my bankcard. So we had to search somewhere else. But we came back with nothing (if you don't count the great poster Patrick bought from Naruto!!!)

Well, nonetheless we had fun! Calling each other baka and chibi.
When I got home, Alex called me If I'm still at school. NANDEEE!!
No I wasn't. Damn it. If he called me earlier, I could have gone back to school. Bwoooh...well tomorrow is another day...

Anyway, today I'm off and I noticed that I haven't written a journal anymore, although I have some things to tell.

The week after the Efteling Meet I went to my sweet, sweet boyfriend and stayed there for a couple of days. We had lots of fun!
On thursday I went to my best friend and stayed there for a couple of days aswell. Also a lot of fun!

When I was back home I had still some free days and spended the days behind my computer. Didn't do much though, although I should have. Anyway, 29th August my first schoolday began. When I arrived at school I didn't know which class I was in and when my day actually started! So I was there at 8:30 o'clock and asked in which class I was in and what time my day actually started. It seemed I was there toooooo early! It started at 10:00 so I had to wait quite some time. But finally it was 10:00 am and I went to my class. I've kinda met my class and then we went to Amstelveen to visit the CoBrA Museum.
We had to do research for commercials (like I said in the beginning).
Anyway it was kinda fun. Further nothing interesting happened.

Then 1 september my boyfriend came over to my house. Again lots of fun. He went back yesterday. I already miss him! u ...

Anyway, now a day off and I should be working onmy homework.
So...I'm off!

Oke here comes a report (?) about the Efteling Meet

My day began very early! I had my alarm at 4:30 am. At 5:30 I went downstairs and got my stuff, ate and drank of course, then said: see you later to the others and I went of to the trainstation.
At 7:38 my train came and everything went well, until I got in Amsterdam South. The train should have come, but of course, the train had a delay of 15 minutes. Damn you, trains! So I got onto another train which went to Utrecht Central and at Utrecht I got onto the other train to Den Bosch and from there a train which went to Boxtel (What a troublesome situation). Anyway, after 2 and a half hour journey I was in Boxtel, where my sweetheart was waiting with my best, best friend! After saying hello and hugged we went to the car so we could go to the Efteling.

When we arrived there we saw the whole group waiting. It was so much fun. I glomped and hugged other people I already knew. Well, we had to wait for one of the leaders, so after 1 hour (or something) waiting outside we finaly entered the park. They explained some behaving rules and stuff and after that we went to the big couch. We had several groupsphoto's and one giant groupsphoto with the whole group of course! It was amazing how many people there were. About 60 to 70 man? Anyway after that we went with our little group into the attractions and everything. Not really much to say about that part of the day, 'cause we mainly went just in the attractions and all. Ate of course something and so on Anyway, we had a lots of fun.
Especially freaking out my boyfriend and Casper with Yuri . Whuheheheheh Oke, around 18:00 pm we went to the main stage at the Vogelrok (that large grassfield over there) to see Jim. It was great to see him again only to bad that the stage itself was too high! Damn stages! Etooo....It was great nonetheless
After that we went to Vogelrok again. After one ride in it I had a headache so Rob and Ireem went for a second ride. Then, we went to the Fata Morgana and after that it was really over! We had to go back home, said goodbye to the other remaining cosplayers and friends and then we headed back home.

That was about yesterday. Definitly going to do it again! It was so much fun.

drive. Now I'm back and to my surprise I saw I had 208 photos!

Now I'm back I'm going to work onmy Tenten Costume for Abunai
and 18 August there is a meeting with other cosplayers in the Efteling.
Together with some friends and my sister I'm going to that meeting and I'm really really looking forward to it!

Definitly in Hinata Costume but probably in the black Training/episode... costume. Anyway...the costume Hinata has in the episodes when Kiba, Shino and Naruto and she of course, are looking for that Scent Bug.

Oh and sorry for some typing mistakes in my last Journal, but I was on a French computer and their keyboard is different from the ones we have. We have on the left uppercorner the letters: qwerty and they have azerty. And if you want to type a number you have to use the shift button. So that explains the mistakes

After the storm was over the sun was setting and there were big beautifull clouds in the sky. It gave a lovely sight and I decided to take some pictures of it. Two of the best pictures I made can be found here in my gallery.

I made also a Dutch Cosplay Club here on DA.
The whole thing is that I want to gather cosplay photos as much as possible from the Netherlands. I haven't seen Dutch Cosplay sites YET. Maybe there are some, but haven't seen them.

Oke oke. Aniway.com is a Dutch one, but it isn't really only about Cosplay and that is what I'm looking for. So that's why I decided to create a club here.

Well, it was 5:30 when we left. Anyway! We had a lot of fun on the road to Paris. Eating candy, talking nonsens about stuff and about what they will do when they arrive in Paris. It was an 7 hour drive before we got in Paris. We were dropped off at Place de la Concorde. That is near the Louvre. Well, at first my friend and I went to the Eifel Tower. It was great to be there again. I have been there a couple of times before, but as usual there was this huge line if you wanted to go up, so we decided to go on. We took several pictures and we left the Eifel Tower and decided to go with the subway to the Sacre-Coeur. That is a huge basilica in Paris. If you go up the stair you will see a great sight of Paris. It is really beautifull. We took some pictures of the sight and the Sacre-Coeur and then we went inside. A quick little tour inside the Sacre-Coeur and then we went off to the subways again. From there we headed to the Notre Dame. There were many pigeons and sparrows and there was a guy that hold bread or something in his hand and the sparrows just sat on his hand and ate the bread. That was quite cool to see. So...Of course I decided to try that too and it worked. They sat on my hand aswell. It's kinda funny to feel the weight and those little feet of the sparrows on your hand. The pigeons were sometimes quite annoying. They flew on my arm the whole time to get the bread. But pigeons aren't that light as the sparrows. So I got a tired arm after feeding the pigeons. Anyway, after being there for awhile (and waitng for a friend) we saw some people with signs saying: Free Hugs! People who do free hugs are awesome. At least they have the nerve to do it, so I took some pictures of them and then 2 persons came to me and gave me a free hug. LOL! Haha! After that the friend we were waiting for arrived and we decided to go back to Place de la Concorde, but there wasn't really a thing to do, so we headed for Place d'Italie, 'cause I knew there was a supermarket. So when we arrived there, the supermarkets were closing. Damn! Well, let's go to the McDonalds! We ate something their and then we were heading back to Place de la Concorde again, because the bus was arriving within an hour and a half and it took us at least an half an hour to get back to Place de la Concorde. Well, we arrived there and we still had an hour to wait, so we went in the parc which was close to it and sat at the fountain and feed the ducks (with candy?!). When the busses arrived we got in again and we were on our way home. Damn! I was tired! But I couldn't sleep very well though. I had at least 3 hours of sleep. Well, that's not enough for me. I know that! We left at 22:30 pm and we arrived back in Amsterdam around 5:00 am. Yeah, well. I still had to go by train to get back home! When I was at the station in Amsterdam Sloterdijk I found out that the first train left around 6:54. And it was 6:00 when I arrived at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Well, too bad. I'm not going to wait another hour, so I decided to go to Amsterdam Central at first and from there with the Stop train* to Almere. Then, finally at 6:45 I arrived in Almere and got on the bus and got home at 7:00 am. Went straight to my bed! Goodnight!...I mean Goodmorning...

*Stop train: It's a train that stops at every station he passes.

My sister and I went to Animecon 2007. That was held
in Almelo, Netherlands. Here is my report for the Animecon.

We got up at 6:00. Getting ready for the Animecon.
I was going as Hinata Hyuuga (or Hyuuga Hinata) and my sister
as Ino Yamanaka (or the other way around). At 9:00
we left to Almelo. At 10:30 (I guess it was) we arrived at the
Theaterhotel. I was kinda nervous, 'cause I thought my Cosplay outfit wasn't THAT good... You know. But when we entered the building and had a tour from our friend, we were asked for photo's and some groupsphotos. I liked that,'cause that confirmed that my outfit was
good and people recognised me as Hinata. Well, we left our bags
behind at the Bag Room. Then we stood in the line for the Dealer Room. There you can buy stuff from the Anime/Manga series. Especially the Anime's and the Manga's were saled. There wasn't much impressive merchandise in my opinion. But I bought the second Death Note Manga. After that we left the Dealer Room and we sat in the chairs when suddenly my sister pointed to some people who stood upstairs. IT WAS NARUTO AND SASUKE! So we went upstairs aswell and we did a tiny photoshoot with them. That was so much fun 'Cause we saw another Naruto cosplayer and we asked him to some upstairs and we took more pictures and after that we saw more and more Naruto Characters and we asked them all to come upstairs and we did a photogroup. That was much fun! Well after that we went downstairs again and went outside, because it was really warm inside and defenitely with the warm jacket of Hinata and the wig on your head. Well, after that I don't really remember what we did, because there were so many things going on. Let's put it this way. We went on a Photo hunt...(or however you want to call it). Every character we know we took a picture of it! ....Oke...after a while (let's say 2 hours after the Naruto photoshoot upstairs) I remembered that I had a Death Note Manga with me, but I didn't have it in my hand...DAMN FORGOT IT SOMEWHERE! So we went looking for it. Asked people if they have seen something...no ...noo nothing. Then my sis came with the idea: Wait we went upstairs remember? and I was like: DEUH! That is where I left it! So we went upstairs again where we had the Naruto Photoshoot and there it was So after that adventure we headed back to the Bag Room to keep my Death Note Manga safe in the bag Then we went outside again. People asked me for some pictures and we had a Team 8 picture! With Kiba and Shino aswell! That was really cool I love that picture We went inside again and we came across some other Naruto cosplayers again and there was Sakura and Ino and Sakura had a fight (of course -.-' ) over Sasuke. They went searching for a Sasuke so we ran into the Dealer Room to find a Sasuke Well after we found one we were stroling again in the Dealer Room. I bought a hat from Fruits Basket. It's black with a orange Kyo-cat. And for my birthday I got a keychain with a Chibi Naruto. That was so kawaii . We went outside again and we came across more Naruto cosplayers so another Naruto Groupsphoto came out of it! After that we went to the McDonalds to get some food and icecream. But when we headed back it was almost time for the Cosplay Competition. I went ahead but when I came there they were going inside already and my sis was still eating her McKroket. So I kept 2 seats safe and ran back to her telling that we could already enter the room. We ran upstairs again and got to our seats. It had a delay of 15 minutes (I guess it was) before it started. After an hour or so I got kinda sleepy and I had to go to the bathroom. Found Episode 16 from Fruits Basket! And finished the anime
right away. Now I'm watching.... Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Chobits, One Piece
and Full Metal Alchemist.

Next saturday (2nd June) is my birthday and I'm going to AnimeCon, Almelo.
Have to ride there though... Awell, the Hinata Jacket is almost finished. Only
the furry thing on the bottom of the jacket, a zipper and fixing the hood right with
the cord and everything. Then it is finished!

was played by Jim Bakkum and I'm a huge fan of him.

It went all good and it was so much fun 'till the break. After
the break Jim and Bettina (Sandy) came up the stage in a car
with an engine of a golfcar. Suddenly the car went of the stage and
landed in the space where the band always is. The car landed on top
of Jim and I was totally shocked. I couldn't believe what I saw!
My idol...under the car! Thank god some people helped to move the car. Jim lay down there (I was on the third balcony which is almost on the top of the room) and the staff told us to go outside. I knew Jim
would go the hospital near the Theatre so we went there aswell.

We waited 2 hours before we left. None of the medics wanted to give
us any information about Jim. We left at 00:30. When we got home
we heard Jim had a heavy brain concussion and a ripped shoulderblade.

The next day we heard he could go home. Man, what a night!
Think you have a fun night, seeing your idol again and next minute
you are sitting at home, worried about your idol...But everything is ok
now.
