  Where did you learn?
I've taught myself. My Secondary (High) School art teacher told me 'cartoon are not art' and so I had no interest in perusing 'art' classes any further. At about 13 I began to draw every day, less studying, more drawing what came to mind, creating characters and worlds and getting my thoughts and feeling onto paper.
I joined deviantART at 15, and the feedback and critique I've gained through sharing my art online has helped ]]>

Yes indeed, I have a place in the Artists Alley at New York Comic Con! They hand select the artist and I couldn't believe when my application was accepted! I will be there for all 4 days starting this Thursday. I'm so excited, I've been so busy lately it hasn't had a chance to sink in. W Blast on Tour, the BBC's Creative Learning Project for 13-19 years old.

Blast on Tour takes its mobile media village to around 30 locations each year. With purpose-built digital workshop spaces and a performance area, young people can book into activity led by BBC mentors and industry professionals, or drop in to taster sessions and Q&A's with celebrity talent. The event I have my work experience over is at the South Bank in London over the weekend of the 10th to 12th of September.

D-cons a Dundee based free anime convention, over 2000 people attended the event running over 2 days.
It was the first time i've ever exhibited my art at a convention, I had my own table right by the stage selling prints of my work :)

Thanks so much to the people who supported me, I got overwhelmingly positive feedback and I couldn't believe how many people bought prints; the little chibi sketches of people I did on the day, proved really popular to- I didn't stop drawing all day, both days, so much for lunch or even going to the loo! XD

I'm wondering if you think reworks are actuly a good thing. I did one once and looking back it wasn't actuly an improvement! But I know I could cover up some obvious flaws in a few pieces

Having a total blast here so far. Im staying on Bondi Beach in a hostel called Surfside, actuly im working there in the evenings so I dont have to pay anything :D

Yes, I must admit at the moment I am thoroughly pleased... if slightly lost. What do I do now? its like theres a whole world of possibility at my feet and I don't know where to start! When I saw it I litlerally danced arround the comutor room in happyness and im shaking slightly now.
I cant believe it, its the kind of thing you really dream about but I never though it would actually happen especially as I already have a decent ammount of exposure and stuff. All I can do is give the greatest thanks to :devzilla774: for choosing it to be featured. It sound sad but its totaly a dream to get a DD.
